Opinions de DhanShiri Jamaica
I tried DhanShiri during the recent family visit to New York City and I loved the quality of the food, the portion and the price. The customer service was very good to the point that we returned there again for a second time before leaving the city. Both the Indian and Chinese food were great, my personal favorites from what I tried was the General tso's chicken and the butter chicken. A member of my family had the lamb schezuan and it was very tasty and flavorful like the other dishes we tried!I strongly recommend this place and I hope everyone gives it a try and shares it with their friends and family. I wish there was a branch in Colorado!
Traditional decorated, good customer service and friendly behavior they presented. As my first day today they really surprised with their different entertainment and moreover foods are really delicious and tasty. I wish to go more. Loved this place.
Their food is great. Really good But when it comes to ordering, sometimes they get the order drawn. And they bring me the wrong stuff then you tell me I got to wait till the next day to get my real food. Sony's take me to starve to the next day. The otherwise your food is amazing. It's better to go there and eat. If you order make sure you get things right.
One of the best Asian fusion food place I’ve been to. I would definitely say it’s better than Sagar. I’ve personally had the pleasure to meet the owner too and he’s actually such a genuine and cool owner. And finally, the food is to die for. Best Asian fusion Bengali food I ever had!
My friends and I have been going to this restaurant for almost 2 years, we eat there as often as almost every Tuesdays, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week, and we have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious! The customer service is impeccable. The staffs are very very nice and friendly! Some of them are actually hilarious! The prices are VERY reasonable, and the portions are HUGE! The Spotify playlist is pretty mediocre tho, but not too loud so you can have pleasant conversations with your friends and family . I absolutely love this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Great place for fine halal dining without breaking your wallet. An eclectic selection of delicious meals catered to your discerning palette. Food was delicious and unlike other places nearby, it was prepared quickly. The lighting is dimly lit and the place looks really accommodating. Place was clean and well kept. I even checked the bathroom to see how clean they were , and they passed with flying colors. A great place for a date and or casual dining. The place is also available for rental for private functions. It’s also wheelchair accessible and close to 9 city buses that run on hillside avenue. They take credit as well as debit cards. The minimum is only $10 for charges...
Service are so good and food is fresh I go every week and I love it . I like how they serve food
They make fresh food and i go with my friend eat food tea and she serve very kindly i like it. I go every weekend
This resturent good and food are so fresh i love it and i go every week and i like how she serve food
Love their food. Customer service is good too. Their website has an issue where it doesn't alert the restaurant staff so you have to call them to verify. Last time I waited a while. They were very apologetic and made accommodations so I could get my food in time. I appreciate the staff and the delicious cooking!
The food was outstanding. I plan to go there any time when I’m in the neighborhood. There is plenty of variety in their menu. I had only Indian dishes which were perfect. The prices are low, and would be a still bargain twice the price!
We love coming here. They have a very expansive menu and offer Indian, Chinese and Thai food. This place is very popular for large gatherings. They have lots of seating and ample booths. We usually get their pineapple fried rice and their fried chili lamb. You get fortunes cookies at the end of your meal. I love the eclectic mix of cuisines and cultures. Perfect example of NYC’s rich cultural melting pot.
Excellent food ,, If you like Bangladeshi food or any other food You must come here and just enjoy the food and their hospitality!!! This is the best restaurant in Jamaica Newyork
Today was my first visit here after living in the neighborhood for several years, they did not dissapoint. The restaurant was clean, the service was good and the food was great, I had the butter chicken and my friend had shrimp tikka masala, also we shared garlic naan and had some masala tea. Everything was to taste and I will definitely come back again.
Had a great experience with the taste and the options of every meal I had. My NYC trips most memorable time!. The hospitality was fantastic.😋😊
Great service. Good taste. They are maintaining a good quality in their food. Definitely recommends to anyone who would wanna come over with a couple or group of people enjoy their delicious meals. Their food has Indian- Bangladeshi and Chinese flavors. So, T trust me you won’t go wrong with trying their food. I like their mixed fried rice, chicken curry, thai soup etc 5 star.
Food is always fresh and they just renovated the place. It looks amazing and they have many Iftar options for breaking your fast during the holy month of Ramadan. MashaAllah!!
We were in the area handling some DMV-related errands and decided to order takeout for lunch. We chose vegetarian Chinese dishes and a vegetable kathi roll from the menu. Everything was absolutely perfect! We’ll definitely be coming back for lunch or dinner next time. :)
If you are looking for a place for a dinner or lunch with friends or family. DhanShiri could be one of the best in Hillside Jamaica. We had our dinner there. The food was really amazing. And the guy who served us was so nice, and friendly. The service was really fast. The environment is also great with some nice lighting.
Ordered Iftar box from UberEats and it was great! The food was fresh and everything tasted good. Well worth your money. Sadly forgot to take photos.
An Authentic Taste of Bangladesh in Jamaica, Queens: Dhanshiri Restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Bangladeshi "Deshi" cuisine in Jamaica, Queens, Dhanshiri Restaurant on Hillside Avenue is a must-visit. This isn't just a place to grab a quick bite; it's a culinary escape that feels like stepping into a home kitchen, right down to the nice, cozy seating area that genuinely gives off a comforting, familial vibe. The Food: Flavorful and Diverse Dhanshiri's menu is a comprehensive tour of Deshi classics, and everything I've tried has been bursting with flavor. The Biryani and Beef Taheri are standout main courses—perfectly spiced and incredibly satisfying. For a lighter but still hearty meal, their Khichuri is a winner. Their curries are the heart of the menu. From the rich Beef Curry and tender Goat Curry to the comforting Fish Curry, you get the true taste of home-cooked meals. Don't skip the lesser-known gems like the savory Chicken 65 Curry or the simple yet perfect side dishes like Mix Vegetable and Dall. For a quick snack or appetizer, you have fantastic options like Puri, Samosa, Piyaju, and Vegetable Rolls. They also offer classic grill items like Chicken Tikka. To finish, you can't go wrong with their Deshi Dahi (yogurt) and traditional Sweets, paired with a hot cup of their fragrant Masala Tea. Event Catering: Your Next Party Solved What truly sets Dhanshiri apart is their catering service. They expertly handle orders for any kind of event or family party you can imagine—from large functions like wedding and marriage ceremonies to more intimate gatherings like birthday parties. Knowing the quality and authenticity of their food, I highly recommend them for your next event. You can trust them to take care of your order with delicious, home-style cooking that will impress your guests. Final Verdict: Dhanshiri Restaurant delivers an authentic, flavorful Deshi experience in a warm setting. Whether you're dining in for a delicious lunch or planning a big party, this place is a gem. Have you ever tried Bangladeshi food before, or is there a specific dish on their menu that caught your eye?
As a Bengali women, I have to say the food here is AUTHENTIC. The service was top notch, and CLEAN. I enjoyed every bite, and each moment of great service the workers have provided for my dining in experience. I cannot wait to show my friends this spot, when I want to introduce them to my culture. Thank you dhanshiri.
Today I visited the restaurant for the first time, and I must say, I was genuinely impressed—not just by the delicious food, but by the warm and welcoming service I received. There was one Nepali girl in particular who truly stood out. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a bright smile and such a respectful, humble attitude. She made sure we were comfortable, patiently took our orders, checked on us from time to time, and served everything with so much grace and positivity. Her kindness, soft-spoken nature, and professionalism made our entire dining experience feel special. It felt like being cared for by someone who truly loves what she does. Good food brings customers in, but it’s service like hers that makes people want to come back again. I want to sincerely thank her for going above and beyond and making our visit so memorable. Keep shining and spreading good vibes wherever you go! 🌸💫🙏
I wanted to try this relatively new Hakka Indian Chinese restaurant and have enjoyed everything! The place and staff are nice and the food is delicious. I ordered 4 lunch specials, each of which came with basmati rice and either a samosa or chicken lollipop wing, both of which were delicious. The 4 orders were coriander garlic chicken, chicken noodles, chili fried lamb & chili chicken. Each was delicious, I will return soon. See photos. These are lunch specials.
One of the Best Asian Fusion Dining experience on Hill Side, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he’s such a genuine person, he even took the time to meet his customers and making sure the service and presentation, even to the freshness of spices, and entrées are of tip top service to me. The ambiance lighting in here is exactly what you would want for a romantic dinner for two or even with your family. The Seating is very comfortable. There portions are generous and absolutely tasty and AUTHENTIC, not for getting the Mango Lassi after a 98 degree weather in New York, it was refreshing cool. Let the photos speaks for itself.
Honestly, as we walked in we felt welcomed. But after ordering our meal took such a long time I'm giving a 4 star. We noticed that they got a lot of take out and that's AMAZING but we took the time to come and have a sit down meal. Take outs order were always ready to go and we just sat there waiting for our meal. At that point we were just ready to leave. However, we just sat and made the best out of it. They didn't mind our talks and were ready to answer our questions. The food there is ABOVE 5 STARS and the desserts were a bit pricey but so worth it. I'll recommend this place if you have more time to invest in waiting but want to try outstanding Indian dishes.
A family favourite for eating in and take out for some time now. We're able to get a variety of different foods so we don't need to order the same thing all the time. Although we can't verify the levels of authentication we have always enjoyed the food.
The food is delicious and the staff are very congenial. I have never tasted anything here that I didn't like. I am a fan of the haka style noodles, haka style chili chicken, the Singaporean noodles and the garlic noodles. The bang bang shrimp are A+. No liquor is served here so I drink water or Shirley Temples. Parking here sucks as this place is on a main street that services at least 15 different buses. The good thing is NICE (Nassau county bus) stops within feet of here. 169th Street on the "F" line is one block away and a host of NYCT buses (9) stop within one or two blocks. For years I would always stop and look at the menu but never went inside. One Saturday I just went in and I've been hooked ever since. Good prices, great quantity of food, a tolerable amount of spice and the convenience, I love this place. A delicious favorite of mine to eat AT only. When you get food for take out, they give way, way, way less. Take out food tastes the same but the quantity is unabashedly less. Eat there but don't get take out unless you're bringing your leftovers home.
Food is really good, better than Sagar. However, the receptionist really needs to do better. Not sure what her name was. Her attitude was really bad, she was so annoyed when we ordered not sure why lol. The restaurant needs a better receptionist.
We ordered from here Goat Biriyani & papaya salad. Very reasonably priced. Goat meat in biriyani was very tender & good quality. Biriyani was taste good. It comes with salad & it was fresh. Papaya salad was our first time trying, so it tastes good, different & very interesting. Probably will order again and try other menu items
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good portions for the price (enough to share), customer parking. My only critique is they should ask the level of spiciness you want because most of our dishes were too spicy but still tasted good. Would have enjoyed more if we weren’t drinking a glass of water every 2 mouthfuls.
Dhan shiri charged me $5.98 for 2 teas. The same two teas at Sagar cost only $2.00. They charged $12.95 for Goat Curry. At Sagar goat curry is $9.00. Their garlic naan are $3 each. That’s the price for 2 garlic naan at Sagar. Their charge you higher prices than what is on the menu. The quality of food is similar to Sagar.
Everything is bit too much in this place. My wife and I recently visited this place to give it a try. We didn't order much (soup and dumplings). Soup was bit over seasoned and dumplings were overcooked. Stuffs were friendly but we felt it bit too much. They should give the customers a little more space. The food itself was very flavorful. So if you feel like you want to spend some time with very friendly environment then give it a try. 'more the marier' right !
I was very disappointed with the services and fairness on this visit to Dhanshiri Restaurant at Woodbridge. Food was average, salad served was very old. They added 'gratuity' in the bill and over that asking the customer embarrassingly to add tip's % on the final payment time. They never informed the customer that they charge credit card fees and remind the customer if they wish to pay in cash or not. Overall, our experience is dishonesty and profit making and not customer oriented restaurant business...
Look as a Bengali I don’t want to leave a bad review 😭but this place is very mediocre. We walked in the waitress was just looking 😐 at us from counter. No hi hello or do you want to seat? 🥴I had to get her attention, she looked like she was miserable there. The owner or manager I think was just sitting with another uncle chatting like this a “Chaier Dolan??😂 The thai soup, chicken lollipop very bland, garlic naan was good. Even Sagar has better food that this. Please learn how to run a proper restaurant with good service. I don’t mind tipping 20-30% but that’s not how you make it in restaurant industry. Anyways rant end. Won’t be back here.
This is my 3rd time I believe ordering from Dhanshiri via Uber Eats. I always ordered chicken biryani which is so good... I will finish it in two days minimum. However, last night the side salad I received was not fresh! They were better off not sending it. I asked for the Hakka noddles to not be so spicy and it was too spicy! I ended up diluting it with water on the stove top to get most of the chili and garlic out. The samosas were good but smaller than ones I have had from other places, the naan was also good. In the past, I ordered gobi manchurian, bang bang shrimp, veggie dumplings and they were good. I had ordered zucchini sticks, veggie rolls as well but not a fan of either. The biryani is by far my favorite item from here!
This restaurant is suitable for a regular breakfast. The food was acceptable for the price, nothing exceptional, but not bad either. The menu is similar to other Deshi restaurants in the Hillside area, offering the usual items you would expect. The atmosphere was slightly better than some nearby places, which made the visit comfortable overall.
Meh.... Was only pleased with their heavy style lollipops. 7 years later, I came to try out the restaurant again. Update: Service: The server truly needs more lessons on customer service. She had asked for levels of spice, and we had given her, but she insisted that we keep the same level of spice for all food so that the chef doesn't mess up. If you're going to keep levels, why bother asking the customer if the chef is not up to his/her level at accommodating? It should be either spicy or not spicy without any levels. We had a horrible service of constantly asking for things: straws, soda, ice, white rice that should've come with a dish Never understood why the server was confused when We asked for white rice. Had to repeat orders for her to understand when she came back and forth to the table even though she had a pen and notepad when she initially took our order the first time BUT still didn't deliver properly! Food: Bang bang shrimp: didn't ask for any spice yet spicy and had too much black pepper. Drums of heaven: tasted good Lamb chill fry: too salty and gravy like when it's called "fry." Usual lamb chili fry is literally dry and fried. Schezuwan fried rice with shrimp: tasted good but wish their celery was not in a cut in large chunks Singapore noodles with shrimp: tasted well Note to the owner: veggies need to be cut smaller. Laziness on dishes won't work Nd service needs much improvement, especially when it's not even busy in the restaurant. I hope the owner sees this review and works on it with the staff.
It is okay compared to the competitors in this neighborhood. I visited here for the first time and felt like they have room to improve on taste. I ordered thai soup and the color didn’t seem right. Also the taste was kind of different. Their wonton seemed to be too small for size and it didn’t have enough fillings. I ordered Hakka noodles and it tasted really good. Also ordered Szechuan lamb and it felt kind of bland. Environmentally it was well maintained but I would say they need to work on the taste of food.
Ordered take out. Reason for two stars is that I found a piece of steel wool(from a cleaning pad) in the food. Luckily I caught it while chewing and didn't ingest it. I know stuff happens, so maybe I'll give them another try. But I could see how someone might be highly upset by this--Especially if a child was eating. Staff- very friendly and order was packed VERY well. Food- ok. Biryani had all the right ingredients and seasonings, but was a little bland for my palate. Maybe ill try asking for spicier next time.
Overall the food taste good. The chicken dry was too dry and not edible. The food portion is small. I ordered garlic naan and they gave me plain Naan.
You need to improve your food quality. People comes and spend money not to eat garbage. Food quality was terribly bad. We ordered Thai soup which was something else but not soup atleast. Other food was kinda same. However Manager was trying to convince us with his nice gesture .
I used to be their regular customer because of my neighborhood. Now decide no more . There soup was ok once upon a time . Now they put too much salt after you provide instruction. Last day I spend $40 and the result soup was watery and top of salty . They called chicken lollipop and you found out “ chicken with dough rap” simply . Looks like all Bengali place is same right now . Was planning to add review a while . Now today I finally did this at least some one can save their hard working money to read this review . Thanks
I went to the restaurant right after work to pick up some food. I waited more than 30 minutes. They gave me wanton without the Thai chili sauce. I asked one of the servers the reason for my food to take that long. He didn’t have any answer. The food is pretty decent but I think they could Improve on the service a little more.
This restaurant needs better customer service training like the female workers seem like they didn’t not even wanted to work or do anything by look at there face and it was only 7pm during the time makes no sense too be like that plus nor does the girl taking order comes to us asking if the food was Oky or anything toward food unless you call them out to come then they will . However I ordered thai ice tea from here which was so horrible worst ever had like I had better in restaurants in jackson heights and my butter Chicken wasn’t what I expected . Also other kabab item was not fully cooked like really wonder who’s working in back or do they not care about the quality of the food if you do then make sure cuz I really thought this place would be good since I came here once 2yrs ago and thought give it another try . Thai ice tea tasted sour and toxic in some sense . Please watch some videos before making that cuz I don’t know what you guys thought it suppose to be .
I ordered I've $80 in food and two of the servings of Saag without any protein and they sent it with chicken and they forget to send the chillies, considering that I am a vegetarian I will not eat it. I called the restaurant to inform them and they brused me off by saying, " Call uber to get money back" I was so disheartening by their reply. Honestly, I really wanted the food and would have driven to pick it up if possible but they did not give me the opportunitiy. This rating is not a reflection on the food but more so on the customer service of the restaurant and UberEATS only gave me credit back for one of the servings.
The service was good.. however the food wasn’t, I order two type of chicken lollipop, dry chicken lollipop which was good but spicy chicken lollipop was horrible, it has too much salt. I also order chicken sizzler which was horrible because it had too much salt and soybeans, I couldn’t take a second bite!!
Food was mediocre. Some parts was bearable and others wasn’t. Got chicken lollipop, chili shrimp and a schezwan fried rice. For the most part everything tasted fresh. The lollipop chicken was good but lacked flavor, the sauce was very runny and it was almost like a water consistency. The schezwan fried rice was fine, it wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. But the chilli shrimp was just filled with oil. Having chilli shrimp many times before this one was filled with oil. I’d probably give this place another shot later in the future. But everything was fresh and piping hot.
Low quality food, after receiving the delivery we came to find that the chicken dumplings were falling out and tasted undercooked. The shrimp dumplings were bland and the best was the fried ones which isn't much of a complement as compared to other fried dumpling they are far below average. Furthermore, the pad dai and hakkai tasted just as bad. One of them was overly sour and the other was overly salty. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some good Thai food to order.
One of the worst places I’ve ever been to. Everything was so raw, and tasted extremely weird. Lollipop chicken was stuffed with something ashy tasting and schezwan chicken and lamb was rawwww and Tom yum soup was okay except raw shrimp. Even the bowls the food was served in was tilted so oddly that everything just spilled right out of the bowl no joke. The waitresses seemed to stumble over their words or forget orders. We couldn’t even finish eating our food, literally just asked for check immediately. Worst waste of $50 AVOID the place.
The filthiest restaurant I have ever been too!!! All the utensils and plates were dirty. The bathroom had a dead roach inside and smelled like body odor. The water cups and the water jug was also dirty. Super cheap with the tissue paper and the to-go boxes. Honestly just felt super 🤢 🤮
The servic is so bad that i stayed there for 30minute and nobody came to pick my order so i had to leave the resturant and go. These people treat customers like the way treat backhome In bangladesh. No manner and respect for time of customer
I called to order take out no one there to answer calls, I went inside to order no one there to take order, 2 employee one guy and one girl standing inside kitchen, I can see them trough half glass door, and they saw us waiting also orders coming from Uber eat no one there to accept orders, I ask them why no one is here, I am here waiting for 10 minutes the guy reply we are waiting in the kitchen to get orders, I chose something from there menu and when he selecting my order from computer the price doesn’t match menu price and register comp are $5 different, I ask him why is different the guy reply oh this is old menu, and he game me dine in menu, so i Choose something else from dine out n menu, the reply your order already placed, DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING ANYONE TO THIS PLACE, they need to remove those 2 people from front,
The food here is always great, customer service over the phone is pleasant. I never thought I would leave a bad review of this place until tonight. I expect a long delivery time but always ok because the food is worth the wait. What I don’t expect especially with the amount of money spent at this place in total, is a rude condescending deliver guy who calls to tell me to come down stairs. I explained I need a few minutes, (BECAUSE I AM SICK) Why I ordered food to begin with and he says”miss that’s too long I have other deliveries to make” I make my way down just to find out, he is half way up the block, not in front my building expecting me to walk over, once again I am sick... and wow no other deliveries but mine on the bike. Did I mention he was rude? Disappointed
worse food and worse service ever i have dine in. as soon as we enter the restaurant the waitress asked us if we can order fast because they want to close. and when the food arrived, the soup was pre-made (not newly cooked), there was no chicken(we orderd the soup woth chicken & shripm), the soup was like water. after that we ordered noodles which was also pre-made because it was super cold plus the ingredients was hard to find such as chicken, shripm. deffinetly not going back to the place and won't recomand friends and family!! nope..
Every time I called they Never answer the phone. Finally was able to place a pickup order and was told it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. When I get there 25 minutes later they told me I have to wait an additional 20 minutes. Final got my order and when I got home, there were missing items. So I went back to let them know. They were giving me attitude like it’s my fault.
The food was terrible and had a horrid smelling coming from it. The service was decent though. The food was also not worth the price
The worst soup , wonton and fried rice I ever had! I wonder how is their restaurant operating. The wonton had nothing inside . It was basically empty fried shells. The pineapple fried rice had big clumps of white rice and the taste of the Thai soup was the worst ! People say when you are hungry , even the worst food tastes good! I was fasting all day , so imagine the grade of this food that it tasted so freaking bad! I wish I could give them -5 stars!
Today I ordered a schezwan fried rice and soup through Uber eats. It’s really bad, it looks like they reprocessed all the food . Just a waste of money. Because of the reprocessed food it tastes way to salty and greasy! The soup was horrible!! it feels like they took the fried rice chicken and put it in the soup. It was also sour. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Worst food ever. idk how they got 4 stars, but it's not worth your money. I ordered hakka noodles and fried rice. Both were so salty, and the food tasted old. When I told the guy the food was salty he got mad and saying bengali people complain too much. If the food is not good of course I'm gonna complain I'm wasting my money on the food.
If you go during weekend expect cold food and not well cooked food. Waiter and waitress services are very good and caring but food is not that good as expected. Cannot handle lots of customers at the same time. We ordered Thai soup, chicken lollipops, and other item similar to chicken lollipop as appetizers. It was served late, chicken in the soup was half cooked, and other items were cold. After that main course item was not well cooked and very poor caring preparation. In the kitchen the chef probably exhausted and were not able to handle lots of orders at the same time. We asked the manager reason for serving late, cold food and other issues and we were told that after preparing food it was left in kitchen table and kitchen back door was open. And he suggested us to come back during weekdays when it is slow may be we will get better quality food at that time. My suggestion is avoid this place, just wasting your money and time. I would rather go to Talk of The Town Chinese restaurant in Jackson Heights (problem in Talk of the town is food price is very high and quantity is less but, food quality is very good and yummy).
Quality of service is terrible. The waitress who works there is only good of writing orders and that's it. Sat down the whole time on her corner and we were the ONLY table that night. Never came to check on and then didn't pack my rice for take out as requested. I was the only customer that night. Needles to say that's my last time on that crashing franchise, no wonder it looks all empty most of the time. Sad cause this was one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. If you're new there they'd try to take upmost care of you but after that it's all gutter. The owner wanted to cancel out my delivery last time because he was 1.5 hours late and I wanted fresh food, I only live 15 mins away from them. Go figure.....
ordered beef biryani through doordash but they sent beef tehari and looks like they add white rice to the portion to look full and not tasty at all throwed to garbage worst restaurant.would not recommend to anyone
I ordered biriyani that they made a joke of biriyani and my money!!! Total loss of money, horrible goat biriyani cooked (soaked) with animal fat, tooo spicy to digest like it can give you stomach ache so i had to dump the scrap.
This establishment is rather unprofessional. My family ordered 30 dumplings to go and when we arrived to pick our order up they gave us a small bag which upon further inspection contained only 6 dumplings, despite one of the staff reading over the receipt (which clearly said 5 orders) once more before handing it off to us
Please do not eat here! The food and the service has gone down the hill. They initially gave me a bill of $66 when I tried to get takeout but then we changed our mind and dined in. We only added three additional sodas to the bill. It was no waiter to serve us food came out of the plastic. Shock that they had charged as such a huge service bill for three adults! I don't know how my bill came out to $82 from 66 by adding three sodas??! By the way there is absolutely no air conditioning. You are going to melt inside!!! The food quality has gone down so much and the dishes have totally changed cuz I think they changed owners.
I went to visit this place today - I was hoping to get my usual meal from last time. Some udon noddles. I went in and sat down. I waited and waited for a menu. To my dismay none were handed out. Eventually i went to the cashier and asked for one. I was met with horrible service unable to communicate the establishment no longer serves the same cusine. It makes no sense there are noodles and other food under the images that arent served here. The atmosphere also felt unwelcoming - neglected by the workers.
The place itself looks decent and has good vibes but I can't tell what was worse, the food or the people. The service was awful. Basically non existent. Had to basically BEG for water refills because they wouldn't do it even when we sat there with no water for a good half a hour. Just seemed like they didn't wanna work since it was an automatic 18% gratuity for our party of 8. Food, lack of salt or flavor. The soup was the only part I enjoyed.
Ordered morog polao online. It had no taste, they just boiled a piece of meat and mixed with some boiled polao rice with 0 spice. And beef khichudi had 3-4 pieces small trash pieces of meat.Robbing people in open day light.Stay away! They are dishonest people.
I ordered a chicken biryani special which is shown in their menu buy one get one free but unfortunately they delivered only one but nothing gave with free and also menu picture and the delivered picture doesn’t the same. Which one they delivered it doesn’t look like biriyani but in the menu shows attractive. They just fraud with the people specially who order online. Menu shows one and deliver something else. Thanks. This Dhansiri restaurant location is 2071 Beaver Ruin Rd, Norcross, GEORGIA
I was happy to get the service provided by the server, she was very friendly and welcoming. Foods were ok, but the thing really bothered me to listening the Hindi music. I was trying to understand who is the owner, seeing the Bangladeshi owner playing Hindi music made me really disappointed. The owner should have taken sensible approach to understand the Bangladeshis pulses not to shadowing the other cultures (pseudo friends), and it is not nice not to celebrating our own culture. For this reason, I have determined not to go that restaurant again.
The waitress took our order but didn't read it back to us.The food was served cold and when I showed it to them they took the food back to the kitchen, warmed it and brought back the same dish. One of our ordered food was missing too. Asked for the manager, but he was not present. The waitress had an attitude even though she was told about the missing order even didn't apologize for it. Won't come here again. (12/21/2019)
Went there for lunch with family. 1st of all they got rid of their parking facility. On top of that we went there to have deshi Chinese food. Which unfortunately they stopped selling. Probably won’t be coming back again, neither going to recommend to any friends / family.
I bought New Years Eve night food from this restaurant all food was already spoiled and smell comes out when I opens it . still the guy warm and packed. Total purchase $33.35 . I garbage all the food and call the guy and complain. No apology no sorry he disconnected line . We went next day and refund our money. So bad and garbage food . No more this restaurant.
This is the fifth time I’ve ordered from them through Uber eats, and they’ve gotten it wrong again. Every time I order peyaju, they somehow give me singara or something else instead. I don’t understand why they think it’s okay to just toss anything into the bag without asking or informing customers if they’re out of something. It’s so unprofessional. People are kind enough to support them by ordering, yet it’s nearly impossible to get the correct food nowadays without a mix-up.
I paid $7.85 for this? Seriously? They gave me 2-3 tiny pieces of meat and barely any curry. If you’re out of food, just say so don’t serve scraps and charge full price. This feels like a straight-up scam. At least with the $7.85 deal before, there was something on the plate. Total ripoff. Never ordering from here again.
I had a delivery in the morning. The delivery was good in the morning. I had it at that time. But when I went to have breakfast in the morning, when I was eating the naan roti, there was a lot of baking powder in it. I couldn't smell it while eating. Also, samething like dalpuri..when I went to eat khicuri, the khichuri smelled. It smelled like old food from last night.(100%sure). I was dissatisfied with three of them: the naan, the khichuri, and the dal puri.”.. Shingara and piyajhu was good... : “ I hope you will pay attention to this matter.”🥺
We ordered chicken tikka masala, egg curry with garlic naan and chicken biryani with bone. Overall the food was tasteless, bland, chewy and zero in rating according to me however, there’s no option to put zero star. It was very oily and felt like the chicken tikka had food colouring in it. The biryani was bland and had no spices at all. It’s not even basmati rice and the chicken was slightly raw. Egg curry was pale yellow without any spices and full of oil. Garlic naan was cold and mushy. I would never order from this place again.
