Excellent subway. I took the wife and mom here for some subs and this subway was very nice. Dining room and bathrooms were very clean. Employee's here were very nice. Subs were delicious and all the toppings and bread was super fresh. I highly recommend this place to anybody.

This is more of a comment on the food than service. The staff is fast and efficient, especially during rush hour. The restaurant was very clean (at least the customer facing side was anyway) and seating was abundant. My food, just felt overpriced and underwhelming. I haven’t eaten at subway since before then COVID-19 pandemic but used to tolerate (and even like) some of their menu choices. The Philly I had was low on meat but crazy heavy on vegetable toppings. It was such a low amount of cheese and meat that I ended up going to the food lion in the same complex and supplementing with snacks. The drink machine was also broken so choices were limited. If you don’t mind spending extra for an adult sized portion of protein you might have an enjoyable meal here.

The staff was friendly and patient with my indecisiveness. Our sandwich artist crafted the Sweet Onion Teriyaki to sub royalty. I wound up using a fork to tackle what fell out of my sub. Restrooms and facility were clean and tidy. My one complaint would be the ice machine was not working, but you know, things happen and I’m sure they will have it repaired upon my safe return. Thanks for a great Subway experience!

Ordered ham and got turkey instead. Employees were in the bathroom the whole time. Not very clean.

Not my best subway experience. Sandwich was drowned in sauce to the point where it was falling apart (I did not ask for extra). Chicken was also fatty and chewy in places. Would have been 2 stars but I added on because the crew working were pretty nice.

They took forever getting my food. I gave them a 15% tip just to get a drink and find a bunch of dirt in the ice. I had to get my drink with no ice, and it's 90 degrees outside. I'm just a little upset that the person behind the counter wouldn't help me out.
I was just in there within the last hour. I had multiple orders. I asked for a drink tray. I was told "We do not have drink trays." The fountain drink, Dr. Pepper, is flat. The great service was taking the order.

Disgusting!! I order sub and got to me all smashed up like someone been punching it and missin all the stuff I said to add I paid 19 bucks for it and I threw it away .

I placed an order thru DoorDash for this subway. My order was final at 7:19pm! The DoorDash app said to order by 7:30pm, this subway cancelled my order when it was clearly sent in time, I’m sorry to say but subway hiring lazy employees to work is a major problem, they were able to cancel my order which was for six people and lost a $60 dollar order, ridiculous! Will take my business to another sub sandwich business that actually likes to make money! 😡😡
The was no air flowing in the restaurant. It was like 100 degrees or close to it. The restaurant was short staffed. The staff were exhausted due to the lunch rush and extreme heat. It was poor eating conditions. Highly recommend staying away from Jamestown location until franchisee or ownership takes care and addresses issues.
They never wash their hands talking moping the floor and put on gloves. Talking handled the cash and started picking uo bread knoves to wipe off. Dissapointed especially because the times were in. Also I seen they dont wear hairnets. Its just sad i walked out twice because the same guy didnt wash his hands
After getting off the highway after hrs of driving, my kids and I pulled up right at 7:26pm (store closes at 8 or 9). There were 2 young men sitting outside, I asked them if the store was closed they said yes. So my kids and I went back to the car. We sat there for a minute to see what else they wanted. As we waited the 2 young men approached the door, knocked on it, and a young man "inside" came to the door and let them in. So my kids and I got out the car open the door. The employee said to us (as he's making the 2 young men's food) his manager said to close the store since he's the only one in the store. But he just let 2 guys in to make food as I'm standing there with children. So he turned down paying customers to services his friends who probably didn't pay for their food which is stealing from the company.
I’ve been to this subway 3 times and they never have chocolate chip cookies made. Today I went and they have no ice.
If they had a 0 I'd give it to them! They were slow making my food, rude, forgot half of my order, and their ice machine never works. This place sucks!!! I will not spend another dime here!!!
I ordered online and there was no bacon or cheddar cheese on the blt, incorrect cheese on the steak and cheese, and the chicken on the chicken teriyaki was dry. not worth it.

I dont leave comments, but There's never a consistent person working there, always "trainees". The sandwiches are pathetic when you order online to pickup. I suppose you could correct them on what they are doing wrong if you stood over them the whole time in the store. I paid extra for sliced avocado, but got no avocado on the sandwich. Then wanted to charge me the price of a fountain drink for a cup of water. This place needs new management and new staff. Ridiculous.
Be aware of your receipt. They didn't have any paper to print out a receipt and when I asked why my total was higher than what I figured it to be, it was because the girl behind the register added a tip when I had cash to tip. At no time did I hit the tip button. I always tip in cash so I know this for a fact. I even said I did not hit the tip button. They didn't even acknowledge my comment. I just walked out. Won't ever go back there agian.
Terrible service from the beginning. I ordered pick up and my order said it was finished, when i got there it wasn’t even started on. Then i had to wait half an hour to get my order started on. They blamed it on short staff, but there was a girl in the back doing absolutely nothing when she could’ve helped the line move quicker. After they started they used dirty utensils and making the sandwich in a very sloppy way. Things were even being knocked over. Overall terrible experience and this is a recurring thing at this location.
Update: the attitude of the employee today is beyond me. She needs to quit and/or don't work with the public. I completely lost my appetite for this place and went somewhere more pleasant, Jersey Mike's. This has always been an issue at this location especially since that one female manger left. Ran by teenagers which means they're busy and bothered by you coming the store wanting to order. The meat sometimes is very old looking... It crumbles. Veggies are good..... Guess you can't mess that up too much.
Today, this store gets 1 star. The female employee who made my sandwich from beginning to end ((of whom I can only describe as somebody who's first language is not English)) did fine making it. HOWEVER, of all the Subways I've been to in my area, they have honored veteran discounts, INCLUDING that store. I showed my VA card, and inquired about it and the lady looked at me and said "We don't have a veteran discount." I begged to differ with her, and she read off a discount list that was there. It may not have been listed, but, my understanding is that the discount is at the digression of the franchise owner. She finally put a discount in and said, "I gave it to you this time, but we don't have a veteran discount." So... I think the owner of that franchise needs to brief his/her stores on whether or not it's honored. Especially when new employees come in.
The older lady working the evening shift at 7PM on 10/2 had a very bad attitude and seemed like she was annoyed we were even there. The younger lady that was working was nice however and greeted people coming in. Unfortunately the older lady was the one taking our order.

I've eaten here for six years and for the last time today. Got a BMT with lettuce, onion, mustard, oil and vinegar. Threw it up 20 minutes after finishing it and now on the toilet with diarrhea. Was going to post a pic but it's probably against policy and inappropriate.
We normally order from this Subway (Main st Jamestown), but tonight was by far the worst subs I've ever experienced from any Subway. The tomatoes had hard white core on every slice, ALL the banana peppers had the tops still on them (including the stems). The bread on ALL 4 of our subs was brick hard. Terrible! Truly a waste of money (& no one has extra to just throw away on a terrible dinner)
We pulled up at 9:46 and the open sign was still lit. They’re supposed to close at 10:00 but they already shut down. Whoever the girl is with ginger hair working on 12/23/22 saw us pull in and went straight to the back. She didn’t even try to let us know they had closed down early. While we’re walking up trying to come in she’s watching from the back and bursts out laughing. Find better employees please this was very disrespectful and unprofessional.
I am flabbergasted 😯 of the way the manager at this Subway treated my 14 yr old daughter. My daughter got sick Christmas night, she called in sick Sunday and the manager fired her on the spot. It would have been more prudent of him if he had told her, but he didn't reply to the messages she sent telling him she was sick and took her out of the system without notice 👏👏👏👏 awesome customer service 😠. What he doesn't know is that he fired an AWESOME EMPLOYEE!!!
This Subway store. FORGET IT! They don't answer the phones. I placed an order and got charged x2. I'm missing 3 out of 5 items. When I get off work I will be there to dispute this. The Dasher stated my order wasn't even started when he arrived and had to wait. If I could give this store 0 stars I would! Not the first time I have had an issue with this Subway.
In my experience, this particular subway has to be one of the worst run franchises of all the subways in existence. Not much customer service, and service is as slow as Christmas. The attitude seems they just hate being there. ( My personal observation.)
Did a mobile order, said it was gonna be ready at 5:50, I got my food at 6:30! They had me waiting for 40 minutes and got everyone in line before me. They were nice about it but Jesus Christ, ruined my night. Will not be back, I will drive the extra 5 mins and go somewhere else. EDIT: I actually went back and gave it another try and it’s currently 4:30 AM and I am on my 5th trip to the toilet with vomiting and diarrhea.

Very overpriced. I paid almost $20 for a footlong that I don’t even put that many toppings on and a drink. It was pathetic. I requested extra of the toppings and was charged by the piece of topping. Also, the ice machine is broken. Bottom line, don’t waste your money at this location. I’ve eaten at Subways for years and this is probably the worst one I’ve ever experienced.
Worst Subway in the country. Sub looked like it was put together by a blind person. Every time I go in there the competence level is that of a 3 year old child. Never a good experience. This particular Subway should be ashamed to have their name associated with this franchise. Today they were out of tomatoes, spinach, and there wasn't as single bag of chips in the entire store. Last time, it was tomatoes and no fountain drinks, and nothing but bottled water in the cooler. The sandwiches have about have the meat/veggies they should have. This place is pathetic. Not to mention the A/C hasn't worked in over a month. Never again.

This location is absolutely horrible. I ordered a #15 Titan turkey. I went to check out and my total was $17.00. My sandwich was literally all bread. It had 4 slices of turkey on it. I ordered a meal and they have no working ice machine. I asked about the price and even the employee said “the prices are too high”. When your employees agree, something is wrong. I could have went to Publix and got a way better and bigger sub for cheaper. With all of these negative reviews, Subway really needs to look into the issues with this location. The owner of the franchise also needs to reevaluate their store.. because this place is terrible.

Floor being mopped... soda machine apart..the most unwelcome place to go. Non speaking English employee sitting down at backroom corner. I was here 904pm at receipt shows. This Subway is horrible! Spend money elsewhere.

The spinach is always extremely bitter. The tomatoes are always slimy. The onions and peppers are the wrong color because they are old. I ordered today and my sub was still disgusting even after asking for veggies from the back.
I ordered a BLT with 50% more bacon. It had 4 slices of bacon on it. Considering that was the only protein, it's absolutely ridiculous to only have 4 slices of bacon strips on it for $7.49. Will never go again
I would rather starve than step foot in this Subway again. That’s not hyperbole—it was the single worst sub I’ve ever had in my life. The turkey was dried out like jerky, the staff couldn’t be bothered to listen, and when my wife ordered my sandwich, they dumped everything I asked for onto my son’s sub instead. One employee literally rolled her eyes at my wife and walked off mid-order. We paid over $35 for two meals and got garbage service, garbage food, and zero care. If you want Subway done right, go to the Palladium location—this one is an absolute disgrace.

Don’t just stand there silently, staring at me, waiting for me to order without saying a single word.
I only eat at this Jamestown Subway location if i have a coupon and when I absolutely have to eat quickly because I am near there, and it is about only place to eat. FOOD: This is by far the most un-generous subway when it comes to meat and toppings. On top of that, the ingredients seem to be just thrown into the middle of the sandwich, instead of spread out evenly across the full length of the bread. BEVERAGE: The fountain drink machine should be shut down. One of the drink selections for the fountain drinks, either has water or carbonation streaming(not dripping) from the plastic.casing and drains into the trough. It has been this way for so long, that there is a film of minerals or sludge caking up around the plastic. The ice machine, when it use to have ice in it, would also dispense black, mold-like particles along with the ice. I reported.this.to management one time several months ago, and the last 2 times I have visited, they now have a sign that says No Ice. But if you ask for ice, they will dip some for you out of a cooler that they keep behind the cash register. The fountain drinks are always flat tasting, so, i just get a 20 oz bottled drink out of the cooler in front of the store. BATHROOMS: For.several months now, they will not let customers use the bathrooms. There is as sign on both doors that says the bathrooms are out of order. When I asked if it was available for me to just wash my hands, all the employee would say is...busted pipes. So, the last 2 times I have been to this location, I have used the restroom at the medical center next door. ATMOSPHERE: It is hit and miss as far as the mood of the staff, as to how you are treated when you walk in....sometimes ok, but, most of time, it is almost as if they are annoyed that the customer walks in, and that they have a job to do, when one does arrive. OTHER NOTE: I am not sure, but other reviewers think that this franchise location has been purchased by Hispanic or possibly Asian persons. I do not know if that is true or not. However, what i can say, is this....the atmosphere seems to be that of an asian/chinese restaraunt. Don't get me wrong, I have been in some Chinese restaraunts that are clean and kept nice. But, most, do not keep the amenities in working order.....bathrooms don't work, fountain drink machines not in use and offer bottled drinks instead, etc. Some things just do not seem right about this particular location.

The prices at this store were different then my normal subway . I don't care what ethnicity your are but I don't speak Spanish, and they refused to speak English I had to point at items and it just didn't feel rite . The ice machine was broke and they were chipping ice out of a cooler ,as a manager in the restaurant business that's a serious health code violation. I ended up not eating once I started thinking about all of it .
The owner won’t fix the drink machine. It’s been that way for months. I assume they want you to buy a three dollar Pepsi out of the cooler. It’s ridiculous because Subway is a good brand. The employee says there’s nothing they can do about it. The boss won’t fix it.
I've gone to this Subway a few times now for catering for work and the order has quite literally NEVER been done when it was supposed to. They are always rushing to make the food after arrival. My boss also came to pick up the order once and nobody was even at the store. They had locked up and left to go do something else. And the catering order still wasn't done. He said they came back luckily soon after he got there and made the order there in front of him. The food is good, tasty, and well made, but just not ready when it is supposed to be. I arrived at 10:30 for an order that was to be done at 10 and it wasn't even done then. The staff is friendly, though. The Christmas decorations are cute. It's very clean. Not a crumb in sight. It's the nicest Subway I've ever been to honestly when it comes to aesthetic. But not a good place to order catering. In addition, they have signs posted everywhere that they don't offer free water cups and you have to pay for the water. Which in the state of NC is illegal. In the state of NC, a business that serves food, legally, has to provide free water. No big deal for me bc I didn't want any water but just another thing I noticed.
On Sunday, May 11, 2025, we stopped at this Subway after church. We saw the sign stating that there would be a charge for water cups, so we opted to drink iced tea. I explained to the cashier that our grandson would only drink water, but she charged us for his cup, too. We went to the drink station to see that the fountain machine was not working, there was no ice, and no tea. We will not be back!
I was told they were out of roast beef for the Beast sandwich which I ordered online. I said ,no problem just add more turkey but the sandwich was already made with like 2 pieces of each meat and advertised that it was "1/2 lb of meat"! Cheap owner and not a place to order online. Staff was short and unapologetic.
I think this subway franchise was bought out by Hispanics. The price was ridiculously high. My son and I ordered two 6 inch sub meals and it totalled $48. I told her that we just want the subs. They started speaking Spanish and then took only $2 off. I just walked right on out the door. Then they have High Point University outside tables and doesn't except HPU Passports. I will not be returning.

I would rather starve than step foot in this Subway again. That’s not hyperbole—it was the single worst sub I’ve ever had in my life. The turkey was dried out like jerky, the staff couldn’t be bothered to listen, and when my wife ordered my sandwich, they dumped everything I asked for onto my son’s sub instead. One employee literally rolled her eyes at my wife and walked off mid-order. We paid over $35 for two meals and got garbage service, garbage food, and zero care. If you want Subway done right, go to the Palladium location—this one is an absolute disgrace.
The owner won’t fix the drink machine. It’s been that way for months. I assume they want you to buy a three dollar Pepsi out of the cooler. It’s ridiculous because Subway is a good brand. The employee says there’s nothing they can do about it. The boss won’t fix it.
On Sunday, May 11, 2025, we stopped at this Subway after church. We saw the sign stating that there would be a charge for water cups, so we opted to drink iced tea. I explained to the cashier that our grandson would only drink water, but she charged us for his cup, too. We went to the drink station to see that the fountain machine was not working, there was no ice, and no tea. We will not be back!
I only eat at this Jamestown Subway location if i have a coupon and when I absolutely have to eat quickly because I am near there, and it is about only place to eat. FOOD: This is by far the most un-generous subway when it comes to meat and toppings. On top of that, the ingredients seem to be just thrown into the middle of the sandwich, instead of spread out evenly across the full length of the bread. BEVERAGE: The fountain drink machine should be shut down. One of the drink selections for the fountain drinks, either has water or carbonation streaming(not dripping) from the plastic.casing and drains into the trough. It has been this way for so long, that there is a film of minerals or sludge caking up around the plastic. The ice machine, when it use to have ice in it, would also dispense black, mold-like particles along with the ice. I reported.this.to management one time several months ago, and the last 2 times I have visited, they now have a sign that says No Ice. But if you ask for ice, they will dip some for you out of a cooler that they keep behind the cash register. The fountain drinks are always flat tasting, so, i just get a 20 oz bottled drink out of the cooler in front of the store. BATHROOMS: For.several months now, they will not let customers use the bathrooms. There is as sign on both doors that says the bathrooms are out of order. When I asked if it was available for me to just wash my hands, all the employee would say is...busted pipes. So, the last 2 times I have been to this location, I have used the restroom at the medical center next door. ATMOSPHERE: It is hit and miss as far as the mood of the staff, as to how you are treated when you walk in....sometimes ok, but, most of time, it is almost as if they are annoyed that the customer walks in, and that they have a job to do, when one does arrive. OTHER NOTE: I am not sure, but other reviewers think that this franchise location has been purchased by Hispanic or possibly Asian persons. I do not know if that is true or not. However, what i can say, is this....the atmosphere seems to be that of an asian/chinese restaraunt. Don't get me wrong, I have been in some Chinese restaraunts that are clean and kept nice. But, most, do not keep the amenities in working order.....bathrooms don't work, fountain drink machines not in use and offer bottled drinks instead, etc. Some things just do not seem right about this particular location.
The prices at this store were different then my normal subway . I don't care what ethnicity your are but I don't speak Spanish, and they refused to speak English I had to point at items and it just didn't feel rite . The ice machine was broke and they were chipping ice out of a cooler ,as a manager in the restaurant business that's a serious health code violation. I ended up not eating once I started thinking about all of it .
I was told they were out of roast beef for the Beast sandwich which I ordered online. I said ,no problem just add more turkey but the sandwich was already made with like 2 pieces of each meat and advertised that it was "1/2 lb of meat"! Cheap owner and not a place to order online. Staff was short and unapologetic.
Very overpriced. I paid almost $20 for a footlong that I don’t even put that many toppings on and a drink. It was pathetic. I requested extra of the toppings and was charged by the piece of topping. Also, the ice machine is broken. Bottom line, don’t waste your money at this location. I’ve eaten at Subways for years and this is probably the worst one I’ve ever experienced.
I think this subway franchise was bought out by Hispanics. The price was ridiculously high. My son and I ordered two 6 inch sub meals and it totalled $48. I told her that we just want the subs. They started speaking Spanish and then took only $2 off. I just walked right on out the door. Then they have High Point University outside tables and doesn't except HPU Passports. I will not be returning.
I've gone to this Subway a few times now for catering for work and the order has quite literally NEVER been done when it was supposed to. They are always rushing to make the food after arrival. My boss also came to pick up the order once and nobody was even at the store. They had locked up and left to go do something else. And the catering order still wasn't done. He said they came back luckily soon after he got there and made the order there in front of him. The food is good, tasty, and well made, but just not ready when it is supposed to be. I arrived at 10:30 for an order that was to be done at 10 and it wasn't even done then. The staff is friendly, though. The Christmas decorations are cute. It's very clean. Not a crumb in sight. It's the nicest Subway I've ever been to honestly when it comes to aesthetic. But not a good place to order catering. In addition, they have signs posted everywhere that they don't offer free water cups and you have to pay for the water. Which in the state of NC is illegal. In the state of NC, a business that serves food, legally, has to provide free water. No big deal for me bc I didn't want any water but just another thing I noticed.
Worst Subway in the country. Sub looked like it was put together by a blind person. Every time I go in there the competence level is that of a 3 year old child. Never a good experience. Had hopes things would get better, but apparently not. This will most certainly be my last time. Sorry Subway. It was a good run.
