Best Mexican restaurant in a 60 mile radius. No point in going anywhere else if you're close by.

Diana took our order on the phone and her service was impeccable! She was patient, kind, helpful and just a breath of fresh air! When I picked up our food it was hot and ready and Diana was at the drive thru window just as pleasant as she was on the phone! We usually drive further into Killeen for Tex Mex but after discovering Mi Ranchito...we won't go back! (Oh yeah! The food was awesome too!)

My husband and I eat here at least 4 or more times a month either dinner or breakfast! There isn't one time we had bad service or bad food! Always service with a smile. Thanks for wonderful food! God Bless you an your Family

I order Parillada x3 choice of protein. It was too small for the 2 person 3meats. Too much money for less amount. Otherwise, everything else good.

🚨Updated Review🚨 I stopped in for breakfast one morning to give it a try, and I wasn't that impressed with the breakfast plate. The breakfast tacos I had were great, though! Zero compliants on that end. My service was ok, I did have to find my waitress for utensils. I saw some wall murals that I had not seen when I first visited that were really nice. I initially went through the drive-thru but decided to go inside instead. The menu is massive!I walked in, and I was greeted immediately by the staff and directed to the to go area so I could order. After looking through the menu, I decided to go with a taco plate with beef, beans, and rice. I ordered the birria tacos for my girlfriend and the cheese quesadilla for my son. My plate was on point! I wish we'd dined in because my tacos were hard shells, and the ride home made the shells soft. They were crunchy at the top, though. The beans and rice had amazing flavors. They were probably the best I've had in the Killeen area. My son ate all of his cheese quesadilla, so it was obviously good to him. The birria tacos, however, were pretty sad. The meat was flavorless, and the tacos themselves just didn't taste like any birria tacos we'd had before. The consomé was basically a cup of oil and grease. They didn't even get finished. I'd dine in next time if I were to go back. I wouldn't mind trying a burrito or the tacos again. The decor is like nothing I've seen before. I love the added detail, especially the chairs.

I love the burritos here, but I feel like they’re very stingy when it comes to other things on the burrito they give me nothing but eggs and I’ve asked for beans, cheese and bacon. You can’t even see the beans and cheese and bacon . There’s nothing in it every time I bite through it it just taste like eggs. 😩

El Ranchito is very beautiful on the inside but had slow, uninterested service. We were greeted with a young lady sitting in a booth across the restaurant and had to motion for the waitress for the check while she sat in the same booth talking to the hostess throughout our experience. Although they seem like sweet girls it was just a little ridiculous. Cheese enchiladas were fairly good, reminded me a bit of San Antonio tex mex. Beef fajita burrito was incredibly tasteless unfortunately.

They were about the same length as a frozen cheese stick, but not as wide. The menu picture of course shows a steak sized portion. When I asked about it, the waitress told me that you get slices with that plate, and 3 to 4 small slices if you order fajitas. So, some advice: skip the steak fajitas unless you're in the mood fir just a snack.

Fresh salsa. If you like cilantro this is a really good salsa. Otherwise the food is okay but nothing worth going out of your way for.

I also ordered green chicken enchiladas and the dish was super dry. I asked for more verde sauce to which they brought me a spicy light green hot sauce. After pushing my plate aside and about 3 waitresses passing by without asking how the meal was (about a 10-15 min time period) we asked for the check. They didn’t even bat an eye that I didn’t eat my meal, maybe this happens a lot. Idk how this place has outstanding reviews or maybe I ordered the two things on the menu that lack sauce or in their words “gravy” & queso.

Alcoholic drinks were good, my birria tacos were good but the rice & beans were cold, my husband’s hard shell tacos arrived with all toppings when we asked for just lettuce, so when they brought it back out the ground beef looked pink like it wasn’t fully cooked so he decided not to eat anything , my sons chicken & fries were decent. I would maybe give this restaurant another try if the food & customer service is better, it’s such a clean & beautiful restaurant from the inside so it kind of sucked we got the experience we did

We were told to be seated wherever we’d like, our waitress seemed very rushed & her vibes kind of gave off like she had something going personally the other young lady stayed in the back most of the time. Alcoholic drinks were good, my birria tacos were good but the rice & beans were cold, my husband’s hard shell tacos arrived with all toppings when we asked for just lettuce, so when they brought it back out the ground beef looked pink like it wasn’t fully cooked so he decided not to eat anything , my sons chicken & fries were decent. I would maybe give this restaurant another try if the food & customer service is better, it’s such a clean & beautiful restaurant from the inside so it kind of sucked we got the experience we did

I can’t really judge the service or atmosphere since i ordered on door dash, but the food is just disgusting, all together i had some of the tacos taste horrible, now currently dealing with a stomach ache and there rice was even worse not sure if it went at a bad time but it was horrible
