This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last. JJ was our server, and she was excellent, very efficient, friendly, and professional. The food was awesome, and everything here deserves kudos. The guacamole was BETTER than most Mexican restaurants I have been to! There was not a single thing we ate that was not top quality. The value of the meal is perfect , you receive a good amount of excellent food for a fair price. I encourage everyone to try THIS Jimmy's Egg. I also enjoyed the Carmel ice coffee as well.

This is a little family favorite go to for breakfast. The food is usually yummy and even when its busy its still a very welcoming atmosphere. Our server Abby was great! She was accomidating warm and welcoming. Friendly staff like Abby make this a great experience.

Had a great experience here before and decided to revisit while the dogs are getting groomed. The place was packed so we went with 2 bar seats which gave us a good view of the kitchen. I recommend doing that to understand what your server goes through to get your food. I ordered a meat lovers omlette with mini buttermilk shortstack and country potatoes. The wife went with the country fried steak, bacon, hashbrowns and eggs. I dove into the omlette and stopped to take the picture...so it is normally bigger than that. I would say that all of our items were good. Chicken fried steak was decent. Sadly, I finished 2 cups of coffee and my omlette and potatoes and waited for the shortstack to arrive. Being so close to the kitchen, I heard the waitress ask for it a few times. We will definitely give it a chance again.

Good service. Food was ok, but had a somewhat "chemical" taste to it. Almost as if not all the cleaner was removed from the griddle before cooking.

I would give 4 star to our server for being attentive with our table and clean atmosphere is always a plus in a restaurant. My only complaint is their Pancakes - I can’t forgive the fact that when you eat their pancakes, it turns pasty inside your mouth. Same feedback from my friend and she thought it must be a low quality flour used or they mixed it with something else. Now, with this experience, I now have 2nd thought about their restaurant.

So i order togo over the phone. I asked was my order finish i just got off a long shift i waited at home to make it will be ready which it was. The lady swipe my card check and came back and said here you go have a nice day she did not give me my card back i had to grab it i had to sign it even though she didnt tell me too and on top of that my portion of my meal looks much smaller then the lasted times i have came and ordered. Smaller then everone else. This is the first time i experienced a bad time here but i guess i will go only on weekends like i normally do it tends to have every thing perfect. Worst thing is that my skillet size doesnt look like normal. When i order pancakes i was expecting the full order but she just guessed. No questions no nothing and too think was going to tip like i normally do.

The iced coffee was the best part of the meal. We ordered the " Almost Healthy Skillet". Their seasoned home fries are not seasoned at all. The whole main course was bland. I even added hot sauce, and it didn't help. Our waitress was sweet. The restaurant was loud. The restrooms needed attention.

I am very disappointed. We had 4 people dining. The food prices went through the roof since we were last there. They now charge extra for premium sides such as sausage, bacon, and any of the meats. A breakfast for 4 people should never cost $74, just ridiculous. The bacon was so burnt from sitting too long under a heat lamp too long. Toast wasn't warm and the butter wouldn't melt. The wait person didn't even bring the coffee pot around to refill. I used to love this place but now, I'm never eating there again.

Gnat in milk , Raw pancakes , Moldy blueberries, Wrong coffee First our kids milk had a gnat in it … then we got the wrong coffee we ordered the cherry one but received a different one and when we asked about it was just told it was the cherry one even though it wasn’t and didn’t even have a cherry on top. Then we ordered the pineapple upside down pancakes and the pancakes were still raw so we ended up just sharing the berry patch pancakes which had moldy blueberries on top so that was nice. Also the pineapple pancakes had a cherry on it so I know they weren’t just out of cherries. Thankfully my kids food was cooked through and had no issues with it other than the milk in the beginning. This was my first time here and will definitely be my last we just wanted to try another place since we usually got to Cracker Barrel or black bear diner… would definitely recommend going there instead.

Before I start, this was an online order so service and atmosphere was derived from the short experience I had picking up my order. I had just got back in town to visit family. Saw this was a new restaurant I hadn't seen and was curious to try it out. My wife ordered Turkey Sausage and egg with sides of mini pancakes and grits. ( they do not have an option for grits & cheese, just grits, bacon & cheese or grits only). Really wish we had of taken pictures before eating--- we expected a moderately good experience. The food was lack luster and did not appear to be seasoned with salt or anything. (ok I guess) On to my order, which was a Baja omelette add 1 egg and mushroom and sides of biscuit & gravy and "seasoned" broccoli... Nothing had salt or pepper, not the omelette or even the "seasoned" broccoli advertised on the website. On top of that, the broccoli was limp almost like it was frozen before boiling. I am by no means a picky eater and I hate to be that guy, but I was honestly shocked at the fact that nothing seemed to have any character but the diner was packed with people on a saturday morning. Was I expecting too much? The name is Jimmy's Egg but the eggs were not even in the running for best item. The only originally cooked item (i think) was the biscuit & gravy... because it had flavor. Maybe to-go orders just don't get the same love as dine-in but I honestly felt robbed and disappointed. Our meal all together was about $40 but the food flavor was worth $20 at best. I know this is NOT a "southern cooking" establishment, but for those who associate yourself with southern cooking, the biscuit and gravy is all you might enjoy from here.

Could not eat my meal after waiting over an hour to get it. A simple keto bowl, should not be hard. I mean the food should not be hard when you get it. Shows it was cooked and then sat there. I am not sure how this place has 4.3 stars, but it was not a pleasant experience. Had to track down other waiters to get check, and then had to use the online feature, since no waitress. After I had paid then I see her do u want a to go box, after their clean up guy had already removed all the other people's plates. If this place is 4 stars then killeen standards has dropped significantly

So we were seated at 1030. Plenty of open seats. We were sat. Waitress asked for drinks, received those, great 1 star, TRIED to take our order. Didn't know her own menu, she asked for clarification didn't even know what se was asking, her statement. Then 3 different times she had to come back to the table over a 25 minute period to clarify the order. Wouldn't keep drinks full, finally another guest asked for drinks but she still didn't bring enough for the entire table after a hour, another waitress/waiter brought the food to the table after we watched 3 other tables who got sat after us, and order and received food and one finished. Each of these table sat after we order, and again one was able to finish before we got out food or even 2nd round of drinks. It was older inside than outside at 52 degrees. But maybe they dont control the temperature. Atmosphere was very very very loud. Its an open air design and I barely could hear the people at our table but could hear the table in the booth next ro us because how loud they had to speak to hear one another. Wouldn't return

This place was recommended. So I drove out of my way to come eat here. I was eager for breakfast and wanted to eat. So I ordered the classic breakfast. I order , get my food and to my amazement. The hash browns on my plate looked like a sample of hash browns. Then my pancakes were stuck together. They basically fell apart. Couldn’t even put butter on them. Look at these pics. I’ll never ever come here again. I wouldn’t recommend this place to Anyone. Ruined my day!!!! Had high expectations because of this place was recommended . My main complaint is that I had more egg than hash browns! Very very dissatisfied. And the manager didn’t even have the nerve to come and address the situation. What a coward!! Never again!!!
