Catch Restaurant - Aruba

We came here for my dads birthday and everything exceeded expectations! The owner was kind and took time to chat. Our host, Darwin, was very accommodating and insightful. The best part was the fresh catch! The fish was all so fresh and perfectly spiced. There was also a live grand piano performance. The ambiance and food were exceptional. We will definitely go back!

Catch is a true gem! Jeff, the owner, clearly pours his heart into this place, and it shows. Our server, William, was outstanding—he explained every dish and cocktail with care and made the experience feel truly special. The food was gourmet-level, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

This restaurant offers a very wide selection of wine, broad food choices and accommodates food allergies. It is hard to pick the wrong item, but we've loved the most brie pillows and sashimi shots. I was impressed by the level of service and live music that definitely made us feel more cozy and comfortable! It's one of the few places that you want to come back to try something new and there always will be something new!

Absolutely loved our date night here. It’s located near super foods by Eagle Aruba. Excellent waiter service from Edwardo. The owner came around to talk to us. Live music was the perfect volume. Our food was not only delicious but the presentation was that of an artist!

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff in Aruba back in December 2022 through friends and was told that there was a new exciting restaurant opening and was excited to one day go back to give it a try. On my visit to Aruba back in June 2023, I had the pleasure of dining at Catch. Jeff greeted our party when we arrived at Catch, from the minute we walked in the door, we were treated top notch! The staff was friendly and on top of their service. Our meals were amazing and delicious flavor bombs with every bite. Moses is a fantastic chef and talented. He does truly have a gift. He came out to our table to ask us how everything was. Jeff also came and asked if we had any feedback for him on how they can improve. I honestly did not have one negative thing to say about the food, drinks, music, ambiance or service. I have been to many restaurants where I live in Toronto, Canada and all over the world. This is a must if you are in Aruba. It will not disappoint. I am looking forward to dinning there again when I go in November of 2023. I will continue to dine there every time I visit Aruba, I will support and recommend this great place and of course Jeff and Moses. I wish them the best of success.

We had the best experience at this restaurant! From the atmosphere, the service, the food, everything was absolutely superb. The hostess was nice and personable. Our server was Robert and he was amazing. The lead chef came over shortly after (his name has slipped my mind but he was so friendly) to greet us and brought us an amazing complimentary two-bite appetizer called Brie Pillows as seen in the photo. THEN one of the owners, Jeff, brought us another appetizer that was so good and fresh called King Shots. Their bread and garlic butter was oh so good. I ordered the surf and turf, my Uncle had one of the specials, was called a ribeye something and both were absolutely delicious! From the perfectly cooked veggies, french mashed potatoes, and my filet mignon was cooked just as I requested and just melted in your mouth. Their red sangria was also delicious. They had live music by Sashah that we really enjoyed. I could go on and on about this place - by far the best fine dining experience I've ever had. If you come to Aruba you MUST check this place out, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed! Thank you to the entire staff at Catch for such an incredible experience! We will definitely be back!!!!

I had the best time dining at Catch Restaurant! The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the whole meal. The place itself is super charming with cool decor, and they even had some live music playing, which was the perfect touch. But the real star of the show was the food! Catch is all about showing off the awesome flavors of Aruba, and they do it by focusing on the freshest local fish. Everything from the delicate ceviches to the creative fresh catch dishes was incredible (the sashimi shots are a MUST try!). And their wine list is just phenomenal – there are so many amazing choices from all over the world that are sure to please any wine enthusiast. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience that gives you a real taste of Aruba, this is the place to go.

Absolutely AMAZING dinner experience. We loved everything we shared, but we are OBSESSED with the sashimi shooters and the key lime pie martini! Thank you for a wonderful dinner for our last night on the island.

My mom and I are on vacation in Aruba and decided to dine at Catch this evening. What a treat! The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we were greeted at the hostess stand. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and very friendly as well. I had the surf and turf with lobster and both the steak and lobster were to die for (the lobster being the best I've had!). Will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will be back the next time I visit Aruba!

This place is a “must dine” before you leave the island! My family and I went to Catch for the first time last night and it did not disappoint! The menu is a foodie’s playground! From the creative cocktail concoctions (I had the Key Lime Pie Martini!) to the mouthwatering appetizers, we wanted to try everything! We ended up ordering various apps to share, including the pan tomate, the Brie pillows, and the “hot mess” which a is bacon and foie gras dream! The pumpkin soup was also delightful! For entrees we had various offerings including the snapper three ways and the pork belly trio. They had a robust wine selection as well. We finished dinner off with the fried Oreos, cotton candy, and of course some espresso martinis! We absolutely enjoyed everything! We also met the chef and the owner and I can honestly say they were so personable and passionate about what they do (and that reflects on the menu!). We cannot wait to go back and try even more items the next time!

Staff was excellent seated right away. We were also asked if we had been there before, explained the specials, service was excellent owner was there very personable went to every table... I definitely recommend the lamb was oit of this world, and the Fish 3 ways was also fabulous! We broke down and got dessert. OMG!!¡ Thanks for your hospitality !!!

The food here is legit! Couple things are a must: seafood soup, ceviche, the sashimi shots. The steak and fish entrees were all delicious also. Me personally, I would skip the Wagu stone steak next time. It was just OK. However, I can’t knock it. The service was great, the music was great, the vibe was perfect. Overall a top notch place. Also, the fried Oreo dessert was 🤌🤌.

We came here on a whim, but Catch is now in our top 5 on the island! The food, drinks, service, and ambiance were spectacular—you must order their special potatoes, I’ve never tasted anything like them. They also have a little acrobatic show a few times a night that was beautiful. We also were able to see their fresh fish delivery (literally two young fisherman rolled up with their boat and cooler) and they showed their haul—a variety of large fish—to those of us guests that were interested. This is a MUST try if you’re visiting!

This place is unbelievable. It’s just so great. Everything is amazing. We had the golden wedge salad, trio del mar and filet Mignon steak (off the menu). Darwin is the best waiter we had - super knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant had live piano music. Beautiful bar area

Honestly, it's been a long time since I've been to a restaurant that hit every point with a 5 ⭐️ the food was absolutely amazing, every item we ordered was perfect presentation and cooked to perfection. The waiter, Edward was phenomenal, always making sure we were taken care of and enjoying our meal. Great experience. 100% would go back here.

Don’t even know where to start. The ambiance was amazing. The service top notch. Eduardo was our server and he made this first visit a memorable experience. The ingredients were fresh and high end. The owner was actually there and he was hands on which was a breath of fresh air.

Delicious! The flavors were amazing Fish cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional from the host to all of the service staff. We had the snapper three ways and snapper catch of the day. Highly recommend.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in Aruba (even better than the famous Fred's restaurant!) and the only one I want to return to. We had the brie pillows, pumpkin soup, and catch of the day (grouper) with parmesean crust, and fries. They were very tasty and flavorful. The fish was cooked perfectly. Carlos was a fantastic waiter! We were supposed to have an acrobatic show, but the lady didnt show up - I'm not even upset about it because I like this restaurant so much 😁

Not to be missed perhaps the best restaurant in Aruba. From the gracious owner sitting with us to his partner Jeff, who told us he was going to be opening this gem, it’s a fabulous restaurant. Catch does not disappoint. Generous portions, excellent wine menu, scrumptious desserts and over the top appetizers. Service was beyond anyone’s expectations. Dined twice on my last Aruba trip looking forward to next winter just so I can enjoy a return to Catch!

Wonderful restaurant. Beautifull with great ambiance. The service was excellent. Our server recommended the catch of the day and it did not disappoint. Food was was great. On my list to revisit whenever I return to Aruba.

My date and I booked a reservation at Catch on a whim, the food looked incredible and different than what we had experienced (and enjoyed) during our vacation so far. Phenomenal. A great menu, fish was fresh, steak was insanely tender, and the cocktails were absolute knockouts. We mostly ordered off the specials menu. The chef and the owner came up to us to talk and gave insights on the menu, a very nice touch. Absolute must-go if you want to try a more well thought-out and crafted dining experience. Prices are on par with Aruba, but the quality of the food was so good it felt like a steal.

AMAZING PLACE! We made a last-minute surprise trip with my hubby for our parents. Our first time in Aruba, but only had a little time for prep. So we picked Catch Aruba on a whim cause it was close to where we stayed. What a pleasant surprise this place was! Great cuisine with fresh ingredients, very good wine selection, nice ambiance, and one of the most personable staff we have ever experienced. Overall great experience! Thank you, Catch Aruba, for making our night with family very special! If we are back in Aruba, we will definitely be back!

Lovely place. We had our last dinner of our honeymoon here and it was a great choice. Our waiter Carlos took really good care of us and the we had some love music to set the mood. The location is not what you would expect but once you’re seated it doesn’t matter. I’d recommend it for any occasion. Try the Sashimi Shots and the Mahi-Mahi with asparagus.

It was a remarkable experience for us. Amazing food and superb service. The owner came to our table and we had a great conversation. Also, we met chef Moises Carvajal who does his magic in the kitchen. I could give more stars if I could. We’ll return for sure!

Amazing food, cocktails, service…! Got the Chef’s ceviche & the grouper’s special with the Parmesan sauce and it was the best fish I’ve ever tasted :) The dessert were so good too. Darwin, our waiter, was extremely nice and gave amazing recommendations. Even the owner stopped by the table to say hi and asked if everything is great. It’s our 2nd time here and we’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing restaurant!

We had an excellent meal. Our waiter William provided incredible service. The fish of the day sashimi flight was incredible. We also loved the catch of the day trio. Definitely worth the time to dine here!

Came across and just wanted to try good, fresh fish and complementary wine. Not a single regret to be here. I had the catch of the day with shrimp and a full bodied Chardonnay. Best apple pie on Aruba as a desert and I enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t compliment the waiting staff enough, recommendation for sure!

We had the pleasure of dining at Catch in Aruba and it instantly became one of our top 5 restaurants on the island. Our waiter, William, delivered exceptional service—attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. My fiancé ordered the lobster thermidor—his first time trying it—and it was absolutely out of this world. Rich, perfectly prepared, and unforgettable. I went with the spicy vodka rigatoni with wagyu ground beef, and it was just as delicious—comforting with a refined twist. We’re so glad we stumbled upon this gem. Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Aruba—you won’t be disappointed!

Although this is street front of a strip mall it is still very well done. The waiter very carefully explained the the menu and options. Food also well prepared and excellent quality. The sashimi shots were outstanding .

Absolutely fantastic. Enjoyed the drinks and the drinks. Our waiter, William, did a great job! The food was delicious, no scraps left behind. Would recommend the risotto and barracuda. A must go to if you are in Aruba!!

Edwardo was our waiter he was very knowledgeable about the fish choices and compared them to how they would taste. I had the snapper and my husband had the barracuda. They were both excellent. Next time I think I want to try the lemon caper sauce instead of the mustard grain. The brown sauce that went with the potatoes is amazing. Will definitely go back when we visit again. We didn’t have a reservation and we went at 7 PM but you may need one.

Food was delicious.All 5 of us ordered grouper with different sauces, served w potatoes. Pianist playing throughout dinner and taking requests was delightful. Entertainment was also provided by an acrobatic doing rhythmic motions on rings suspended from ceiling- At 730 and 830 p. Her performance was dazzling. Service was excellent and appetizer of ceviche was yummy.

Me and my wife visited this restaurant it was the best food we've had the whole time we were staying in Aruba. Our waiter, William, was very kind and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was fresh and delicious, the seafood risotto was the best risotto we've ever had! Recommend anyone to go here for a nice romantic date.

We ate here our first night in Aruba. It wasn't far from our hotel. And not very busy. Overall food was delicious but seemingly overpriced for the amount you get. We ordered just water initially and the house or tap water had little flecks of something in it. They replaced our glasses and everything and same thing again, they mentioned possibly from the ice maker. They gave us bottled water in the end, on the house. The rest of the evening was great. We had a little entertainment during dinner as they had a aerial performance. What are the chances??!! Our waiter also gave us several recommendations on things to do/see in Aruba. From bars to beaches to things to see on the island. Sooo helpful & nice!!

Found this place through google reviews, food tasted good, but prices were a bit elevated in my opinion. For an appetizer we got a ceviche in leche de tigre which was really good (9/10). For entrees we ordered the snapper 3 ways and daily catch (barracuda with parmesan crust). For dessert we ordered lychee ceviche and passion fruit mouse. The mousse was more of a sorbet than a mousse. I don’t think I would order the desserts if I came back again. Service was really good our server was very friendly and nice. We were charged a 15% service fee for a party of two and were asked if we would like to leave a tip for the server, which confused us. We asked the server and he mentioned the service fee was for the kitchen and service staff and the tip goes directly to the server.

Had a wonderful dinner here recently. The food was excellent but I felt they could do better with the service. Loved the pumpkin soup.

Went later in the evening and had a table of 5 (adults). Food took over an hour and a half to be served. Staff were friendly but appeared ‘disorganized’ with things such as who took our drink order, forgotten requests (ie: water top up)- we were one of the few tables in the restaurant but it was very slow service and IMO - prices were a bit high and they didn’t have a number of items that were on the menu when we were ordering ( watermelon salad/ ceviche)

The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was really great. Drinks were okay. I'm not sure why this place got such great reviews because I wasn't impressed. Our reservation was at 7:15 and our food didn't come out until after 9:20. Also, the food came out luke warm. The catch of the day was snapper, was NOT fresh AT ALL and the blacked flavor on it was mostly salt. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly medium but had very little to no seasoning and it too, was not hot. The mahi mahi was delicious but warm. The wedge salad was not tasty. The caviar tasted good but was very little. The grilled shrimp weren't grilled but tasted The creamed spinach was interesting 🤔. It was tasty but more like Parmesan sauce/soup with a little bit of spinach for color. The fried calamari had this weird onion ring type coating and the actual calamari meat was hard and dry. The pumpkin soup was more cream and truffle than pumpkin and not very tasty. Our waiter brought me a watermelon salad by accident and it was the best thing I ate. Management comped the snapper and the calamari, which we hadn't asked for. So, that was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, I don't think I can recommend Catch to anyone.

Didn't even get past the entrance because two teenage girl hosts told us there's no room while there were literally two thirds of the tables empty. K, fine. Will not forget and will not come back and try again. EDIT: You are a very condescending person and as an owner you SHOULD NOT be mansplaining me how the industry works. I have traveled the world, including Caribbean, and have never run into a situation where TWO THIRDS of the seats are available but I am refused a service and met with such arrogance by your teenage hosts. After I found a seat in a much better restaurant, I took 5 minutes to read some of the reviews people have left for you, and it turns out your restaurant is just another tourist trap (and your attitude certainly match those reviews because one can tell you're in this solely for the money and not because you love hosting or the industry). I am actually glad I was refused the seat, because I am 100% sure I ate better food and was met with kindness.
