Opinions de Picnic Pizza Kingston
Picnic is out first choice when getting pizza! Sicilian is awesome. Wings are great. They always have a pretty good selection of slices.
Always a pleasant place to go for a quick lunch
Went here on Superbowl Sunday. Got to watch as 3 people made and cooked over 20 pizzas during my 30 minute wait. It was fascinating to watch them prepare the pizza, put it in over #1, monitor its progress, transfer it to over #2, and then into the box. All while avoiding running into each other, working the cash register, taking calls, and tracking the orders. It could have honestly been a play called "The art of the Pizza". Made my 30 minute wait almost seem like fun. But for those who wonder why the employees are angry or short (and they were definitely short with me), that could be it? As for the pizza, it was pretty amazing. I got a medium pepperoni. If I am in the area again I will definitely go back.
Just stay in a motel near that spot ,so let's try 😜 Amazing bacon chess burger, delicious meat baked spaghetti, salads Everything is fresh, crispy and just melted in your mouth Staff is so friendly and smiles all the way Highly recommended 💯👊!
Giovanni and Vito are great. The food is amazing with great service. I frequent this establishment at least 3 times a week and have never been disappointed
Love this place and have loved it for years. Glad to see it is still delicious. Amazing crust and amazing flavors all around. You will not regret getting pizza here.
I was up in the Kingston area and felt like getting some pizza. Not all pizza is created equal so I always look at the reviews that people leave. I can see why Picnic Pizza had so many great reviews. The sauce on the pizza was very tasty as well as the toppings (half pepperoni, half sausage). I highly recommend Picnic Pizza to anyone local or just passing through. I will definitely go back there again.
This is the best pizza I've ever had. My husband and I have had a lot of pizza in N.Y. city and in Italy and this is our favorite place. We have been a regular customer of Picnic Pizza and just love it there. The pizza is a work of art. It is always fresh looking and nicely displayed. There is always a large selection of slices to choose from. The ingredients used to prepare the pizza is high quality and that is evident in the end product. There is a nice dining room and wait service in the afternoon and evening. If you're in a hurry there is a self serve counter too. This is a casual establishment and very homey. There is plenty of parking and it is a short distance from the Kingston exit on the New York state thruway. The prices are affordable too. During the week there are many reasonable specials. If you're looking for a place to have a delicious cheap meal this is it. If you're traveling on the thruway get off and travel one minute to Picnic Pizza for the best pizza in Ulster County..you will not be sorry.
The best pizza in Kingston. Best when eaten in house. When it goes in a box it takes away from the wood fire finish. I always get the hot wings to go with a pie. So good. Quality has been great for a long time now.
Was passing through on I-87 coming back to Pennsylvania from a Vermont ski trip and it was great! Great pizza, nice little dining room and great guys who run the place. Skip the Thruway rest area and come here.
Old school pizza place with lots of premade pies. Primarily they seem to thrive on the you choose your slice, they reheat it and you can takeout or eat in their dining room. The place is fast moving so know what you want when it is your turn. They have a full menu too if you want more than just slices.
First time trying it, after moving back to the states (on a friend’s recommendation. I had the thinner crust and it ROCKED!! I liked the Sicilian but it was too much bread (good but not as good as the thinner one. TRY IT!
I'm still thinking about the day I randomly stopped in here on my way back to NYC (home)and ate the best pizza I'd ever tasted. Being in Queens NY for many years I'd certainly tasted my share of fantastic pies - but oh lord, their mushroom is TO DIE FOR. Anyone looking for great pizza, this is one of them.
I was staying in Kingston and stopped into Picnic Pizza for dinner. Let me tell you I am overly picky about my pizza...But this food was delicious! Had a meatball parm and Sicilian slice. The bread is homemade, everything was fresh and nothing less than stellar. Great customer service and down to earth, personable guys to talk to. Will definitely be coming back next visit to Kingston.
Hands down, the best pizza in the Kingston area! The variety is unsurpassed. The deliciousness of wood fired, freshly made pizza, to your own request or choose from their beautiful display of options, all make for the sumptuous experience you're looking for. Manager Giovanni is happy to accommodate your needs. Bonus: beer and wine and delicious unsweet tea. Be here now.
This place is great. Some of the best pizza in the area
Picnic pizza had become my favorite pizza place in Kingston. They have great variety, great prices, and the pizza is incredible. They have the busy, no-fuss feel that you want in a reliable local pizza joint. You can't beat it!
My wife and I stopped in while on a weekend get away. The waitress was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the veggie pizza(added sausage). Will definitely consider stopping in if in the area again.
I found this place by accident from a friend. We went in and got a couple slices of pizza. The choices were abundant and I was having a hard time deciding what to try as this was my first time here. I decided on one Sicilian slice pizza which had an abundance of toppings on it, And also a second slice of Buffalo chicken pizza. Both of these slices were out of this world. The service was second to none. We were greeted within one minute of entering the building and served our pizza with in 5 minutes of entry. Both slices that I chose were super flavorful and did not lack toppings at all. I highly recommend this place for the quality of their food Aunt the service of the employee. The place was very clean And spacious inside. I will go back again!
We stop here for lunch on our annual Vermont trip. We look forward to this stop for the yummy pizzas. Love the crust to perfection and all the toppings are so fresh and delicious!! Highly recommend.
Good pizza for the area and nice people who support their community.
Luka greets you and always with a smile. A selection that is second to none in the area. Ready to have a slice of specialty pizza. 2 dozen styles ready within minutes of ordering, hot out of the oven. Stop by for a slice today!
Stopped here for a quick take out bite (pasta, salad, and side of broccoli) and was quite impressed. Servings were also large, still eating it the next day and it’s just as good!
Left my wallet at Picnic Pizza and the friendly staff did everything they could to track me down and return it. I was from out of town, so they mailed it back to me the next day. Also enjoyed my pizza. Highly recommend supporting this business.
Great! Filling enough for a meal, yet great for a quick bite. And they are very friendly.
I'm a traditional girl when it comes to pizza and the way to win me over is with a great cheese slice. Whenever I move to a new area my pizza system is to check out all the joints' cheese slices and go from there. This place has great crust and sauce (not sweet), and excellent proportions of dough, sauce and cheese. They also make a really good grilled chicken Caesar, lots of chicken and tasty, all Romain, no iceberg cheating. I've had their specialty slices as well and so far everything has been tasty. The inside got a little facelift recently too.
Best pizza and subs I have had in years , moved here from another state and order from this place frequently . I get take out or delivery
Cannot find better pizza. Best quality.
Best pizza I have had since arriving back in NY months ago. Crust is crispy and thin. The white cheese and broccoli slice was delicious. The eggplant was excellent. Fresh flavors on both
Stopped on way home from sugar bush. Delicioso!
First time eating here. I did some research on the establishment and the reviews were great, so I decided to try them. Place was packed, the pizza looked good, but I opted for a spinach and onion calzone. If your in for something other then pizza I recommend the calzone. I don't get up this way much, but I was traveling through for business, and if I come back I know where to eat.
Don't live in the area but every time I visit, this is on the top of my list to eat at! Delicious crispy crust with lots of interesting toppings to choose from. Something for everyone, from Eggplant and mozzarella to buffalo chicken pizza with blue cheese (amazing) to a great white pizza and more.
Consistently the best pizza in the Hudson Valley for a long time. I’d drive far for their eggplant pizza and I’ve been enjoying that since they had Napoli Pizza in New Paltz many years ago. If you can’t get to Italy get yourself to Picnic Pizza in Kingston!
Whenever we are anywhere near Kingston we make sure to stop at PICNIC PIZZA..........pizza slices are nothing short of OUTSTANDING. The variety is amazing. We always purchase several different types to sample. The grilled eggplant, eggplant parm and cherry tomatoes/balsamic vinegar slices are just a few of our favorites. ALL are delicious. NEVER had a problem with any of the staff as other reviews state. ENJOY !
Everything was amazing! The food was spot-on and the staff was incredible—so friendly and welcoming. Picnic Pizza is definitely my new go-to spot in Kingston! 🍕✨
Pizza was very good. Got the chicken ceaser salad pizza and that hit the spot. Also the spinach ricotta slice. Both was good and counter service guy was very attentive.
I was just eating pizza, and it reminded me of something that happened two months ago. There was a pizza place near the hotel where I stayed overnight before taking a fall foliage cruise, so I went there for dinner. The crust of the pizza I ate there was incredibly delicious. I think it was probably the best pizza crust I've ever had. Every time I eat pizza at home now, I think of the taste of that pizza crust. ^^
We ordered 4 pizzas. They were all amazing. The margarita pizza was the best to me. Great service, the pizza came out FAST, we barely waited. Very pleased. This is a good pizza joint.
It's a good casual classic pizza joint, which actually isn't that easy to find. Really the most important thing is the food, and the pizzas are really good. Perfectly crisp crust that holds up when you try to eat it, but not that crackery type "thin crust"... Just a classic NY style pizza, with delicious sauce and good cheese. We lived in the Bronx before and were spoiled with the pizza there, so I tend to be so-so about pizza in other places. This is actually really good.
We have always loved this pizzeria. It sucks that they got rid of the wood-fired ovens but the pizza is still just as good. Stop by and grab their lunch specials can't beat it. We love this place one of our favorite pizzerias
Discreet location, but do not miss it!!! It is one of these well kept secret places, where you will never taste another pizza the same way... Every pizza on display calls to your tastebuds Do not miss it and fill up on their cuisine (I do recommend their stromboli, they are divine 😍😍😍) Ps: couldn't add any pictures of our choices, we ate it all
Pleasantly surprised by this local pizzaria along our drive up to Canada. We stopped for a quick bite and I can easily say their pizza was one of the best I ever tried. We also had the calamari and my husband had a sandwich. Everything was made fresh and perfectly seasoned. Very happy with our choice for dinner.
Great pizza! Wood fired which is rare around this town and gives the pizza a great texture and flavor. Plain cheese slices are delicious. They also have lots of choices for specialty slices. Quick service and a large dining area to eat in. A top Italian choice place in Kingston, don't miss it!
Legit pizza spot with very good service and delicious pizza. We tried to regular round cheese Pizza which was delicious. The Sicilian slice which was better than many places I’ve had in New York. The eggplant slice was also out of this world. Will definitely be back to try some more. Everything was super fresh and delicious and the prices were really reasonable.
Ordered a plain pie. We opted to eat in since we are not from Kingston. The pie was great, nice thin crust, sauce was not too sweet, delicious melted cheese. The dining room is nothing special, but everything was clean, especially the restroom. The service was good and the pizza was brought to the table fast and hot. Gratefully, the TV was not even on, as it was a problem for other reviewers. Over all, a great pizza.
Really good food and great owners. The mozzarella sticks are really good here. A cozy place to eat in and great delivery. The pizza is good and so are the wings. I really like the portions. Prices aren't bad. Great service and staff. Nice decorations and lighting inside. Outdoor seating available. Good location.
The crust, a masterpiece in itself, boasted an impeccable balance of crispy outer layers and a moist, tender interior. Each bite felt like an orchestrated dance of textures, a testament to the skill that goes into crafting such a delight. The sauce, bursting with flavor, coated each bite with a symphony of tastes that perfectly complemented the crust. The harmonious blend of ingredients echoed the sentiment that it truly couldn’t get any better. In summary, Picnic Pizza is a revelation for pizza enthusiasts. Its textural wonders and explosion of flavors paint a culinary masterpiece. With each bite, I found myself nodding in agreement with the prompt’s proclamation that it simply couldn’t get any better.
Stopped in on the way home from Vermont. Pizza was amazing and yummy. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Wish we lived closer!
Tenders and fries were good. Pizza was great! Service was exceptional.
We were staying at Best Western and decided to order from here because it was cheaper. I ordered the grilled chicken & broccoli wrap. It was very good and came with fries. My boyfriend ordered and chicken cheese steak with pepperoni. It had peppers instead of pepperoni. He still ate it because we were starving. He did say the sandwich was good, but doesn't like the peppers.
Perfect place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Lots of different pizzas to choose from for by the slice. Hot and ready to go in minutes.
Best Philly cheese steak in the Hudson valley. And you can't beat the price.
Great spot to grab a quick bite & the food looks soooooo tempting in it's glass enclosure (good prices - you can get 2 slices & a soda for only $5😮). The staff is very friendly and create a wonderful atmosphere. I absolutely LOVED the decor! I felt like I stepped into a Little Italy. I was IMPRESSED & I'll even go as far as to say, that I was fascinated, by the wood fire oven...WHOA! They also have a beautiful place for sitting inside and tables with umbrellas for shade, directly located out front. So, if you're in the neighborhood, stop on by. Tell them Maxine (the lady taking pics & video) sent you!
The pizza was good but the chicken roll was meh. I expected chicken cutlet inside but it appeared to be a chicken pattie instead. That was pretty disappointing. I’ll likely go back for the pizza but I’ll pay better attention before ordering other items.
I come here often because they have a good variety of pizza by the slice but also because their lunch special is super cheap! Their toppings and ingredients are fresh and delicious! However I find that too often their pizza taste bitter because its blackened on the bottom and I have also had ash on the bottom once. I realllllly wish they would clean their oven better- then this would be the perfect pizza spot.
I've been told this place has changed owners. The quality of the pizza has gone way down hill from my experience. They also don't really get the concept of "crispy" everything is just very doughy and undercooked. I used to enjoy the occasional utility slice from Picnic, now I would find a better quality option.
For years I've been going to Picnic Pizza because their pizza was the best in town and they had absolutely awesome subs. Why? Because, as opposed to everyone else whose sub bread was spongy air-bread, Picnic Pizza had a homemade bread that was real. Substantial and really tasty. But, unfortunately, they've recently changed ownership and decided to start using the same air bread as everyone else. Their subs went from being the best in town to being no better than anyone else. I used to go out of my way to buy from them. Never again- unless they go back to what made them great: their homemade bread.
Pizza was good, my complaint is staff need to wear gloves when handling food in front of customers.
The pizza tonight was wet. Wet floppy crust. The wings were okay. Not as good as they used to be. They were sitting in a pile of sauce at the bottom of the container. Not how I remember their food.
I've been coming her for years and never had a complaint, definitely one of the better places to grab a slice in the area. Now I don't mind paying a little more for good food, but when the owners changed the prices increased quite a bit and sadly the quality took a big hit. Wishing the owners the best of luck, and hoping this is just a bump in the road!
We order from here all the time but this place is super inconsistent. We live right around the corner and sometimes we get our pizza in 15 min, other times it's an hour and a half. Sometimes the pizza is hot and perfect, other times it's barely cooked through or it was cooked and got cold before it got to us. We loved this place when we first discovered it, now they're just lucky King's (better pizza + attitude) doesn't deliver. Whoever answers their phone is usually rude and hard of hearing, very unhelpful.
This place was great but has gone completely downhill. They have good recipes and if you luck out and get it right it's going to be good. The problem is they never get it right twice in a row. One time it's burnt. One time it's so greasy you can fill a bowl with the oil. On my recent visit the dough was so undercooked it was partially raw and some toppings were raw. They have changed some recipes and are using cheaper ingredients in some things and it shows. At the same time they raised all the prices. It's sad really this was a much loved local institution. I've recommended many people to come to this place over almost 20 years. Further compounding the problem is that one of the operators uses the place as some kind of bully pulpit. He spreads malicious gossip and smears about members of the community and other customers. This isn't small town gossipor good natured "ball busting" this is "conservative" mafia smear campaign blacklisting type stuff. The guy even boasts about how he abuses the unwelcome customers likely as overcompensating for certain shortcomings. I feel like the other guy is really trying but the partner is dragging the whole thing down. I don't know about you but I don't need a bunch of bad vibes, negativity and right wing politics on my dining experience. Whatever you are about is your business but don't force it on diners. It's a damn shame what has happened to this place. They just finished a remodel so the inside is slightly nicer than it was but that doesn't offset sky high prices, cheaper ingredients, burnt, raw or overly greasy inconsistent food, negativity, bad vibes, RW politics and an inhospitable atmosphere for some.
They completely changed their ingredients to make an inferior product. Used to be one of the best pizza places that I would go to regularly anytime I was in Kingston. Their bruschetta used to be amazing, made with delicious cherry tomatoes and thin crispy crust. Now it's made with cheap tomatoes scraps and the crust is like cardboard. Major disappointment! So sad to see the fall of what was once great pizza!
This is one of the worst pizza places to order from! They have bad attitudes and severely poor customer service skills! The pizza I ordered was baccon chicken Ranch and the whole pie was like dough not cooked at all!! I asked for a replacement pie an they drenched the 2nd replacement pie in ranch and was burnt, making me completely sick! I proceeded to call them back an asked kindly for a refund and they Yelled at me for no reason and were completely rude! I would never order from this place if I were you!
If I could give ZERO stars, I would! The manager (I'm pretty sure he's either the manager or the owner) was unbelievably rude to us! I had been there so many times prior that he definitely recognized me and knew that I was a frequent customer, yet that seemed to have no impact whatsoever on him/His behavior was EXTREMELY inappropriate, to the point where he almost seemed violent. The entire restaurant was staring at him in utter disbelief! It started because I had called in an order over the phone. They made a mistake with the order, but somehow he deemed that to be my fault and went crazy on me. Good pizza, but PLEASE BOYCOTT! I have heard from other people as well that he's been obnoxious. This kind of behavior should not be accepted or permitted.. Savona's down the road has very good pizza as well. Thanks for reading this honest accurate account of my experience with Picnic Pizza.
Worst customer service at a pizza place in Kingston. Hands down. Been there 3 times and staff haven't been friendly at all. May I say a bit rude. Edit: I read some of the other reviews. The manager is definitely disrespectful and mean. My office used to order from there for parties but we wont anymore. No problem finding a better run spot. Staff needs some serious customer service training.
This place offers a Philly cheesesteak which is not what you get at all. All you get is looks like is cooked ground beef with a tad bit of cheese also the pasta has no meat it's just noodles and tomatoes for $27 you think you'd get a better sandwich and a better pasta. I ordered through the slice app and when. I asked for a refund they said that is how it is prepared. Let's just say that this place needs a better look at how they price their items. Because it is the worst pizza place I've ever been to and that's saying another considering I've been to 42 states and have tried Philly cheesesteak in every state.
Look I can't knock their pizza. Its great. However, If they mess up your order they will talk smack at you in Italian. 2 pizzas, wings and a salad was over $70 plus an 18% gratuity to basically get 1.5 pizzas, 4 wings and a salad. Guy acted like i was hustling him. In the end they stole from me. Ill never go back just due to the horrendous customer service. I've never been treated like that in a restaurant.
Ordered a pizza and garlic knots from here. They said order would be about 45 to an hour which was fine. Our pizza arrived half burnt and half the crust missing(assuming it was burnt and they just cut it off). Not only was the pizza burnt but it was cold. Garlic knots barley had garlic on them. Just dough with Marinara sauce. This is absolutely not acceptable to serve. I would have rather gotten a pizza 20 minutes late than a cold burnt pizza. Will not be eating here again since they think this is acceptable to give paying customers.
Wanted to try something different than our usual and definitely a TERRIBLE idea… ordered on Slices app and went to pickup… First a “regular” just pushed her way past me and two other customers to get her food first. Then they “couldn’t find” my order along with trying to make a “joke” about paying again. I get to the car and half of the one thing I ordered wasn’t there. I go back in they’re like yeah that’s because the Slices app messed up our menu but we will make you more no problem(literally heating up premade breadsticks) to which the “cook” starts complaining how he doesn’t have time to heat up breadsticks. I tell him that if it is an issue I can give back all of the food and just have the money refunded...”oh no no it’s fine.”I get home and along with having to heat up my own breadsticks because it was such an inconvenience to make them edible, no one had more than a couple of bites because it was so terrible. I feel for the lady at the register because she was the only one who had it together and honestly she can do so much better elsewhere.
Massive amounts of msg my gosh couldn't stay awake at the wheel after eating this and feeling really thirsty...bruh never again...this pizza is no good
When i first walked in not even greeted. The man taking my order seam pissed off. I got a Chicken Philly it was very expensive and very greasy. I was not even asked if everything was ok. The customer service sucks here. Definitely will not return.
Overall not very happy. Ordered 2 pies, onion rings, mozz sticks, and called back to add an order of chicken wings. Be careful because the chicken wings says $8 and some change on the online menu but they charged my card additional $18.04. I called back and he said he’d have to see the receipt to see why I was charged that but the receipt doesn’t give a breakdown of what each item costed only the total. I think what happens was I ordered what was shown on the menu and without asking what size I wanted (I didn’t know there was multiple sizes) they decided to just give me the large and charge me more than I expected. Also beware because they charge a delivery fee but will not tell you before hand. So that was annother unexpected charge. Also not listed on receipt. Food was like a 3/5. Nothing that was memorable. Pizza was soggy/falling apart when we tried to get everyone slices. Maybe because it was a little cold when we got it idk. Just very expensive considering. Total spent : $86
I feel bad even writing this review.. there was a time where I would drive across town to get pizza here instead of 440. Stopped by for the first time in a while the other day and won’t be back anytime soon. Seems they’ve done away with wood fire. For my pie at least. Very little and low quality cheese. The sauce used to be a staple now it taste like cheap marinara out of a can. Disappointing from one of the last genuine Italian pizza spots.
found a grey hair in my pizza and it was in my mouth
A friend likes their pizza and recommended we go there yesterday. We got several slices of various types. A few w Pepperoni topping and he also had a 'Marguerita Pizza' which looked good. I thought it was pretty good except had to take off the large amounts of Mozz bc it, like most other pizza Mozzarella is just not what it used to be. The girl working was quite nice at least but the pizza maker was concerning. My friend got up to use the restroom. The problem is the man behind the counter around late 50's never said hi or looked too welcoming when we walked in then starts talking on his cellphone behind the counter and kept walking back and forth holding up his phone high in the air as he was walking in my line of vision as if he was recording me. How creepy, bud! Once I left and could process what he was doing I considered reporting it. I fig'd it needed to be put on a review at minimum about this creepy, unneeded behavior as I was trying to eat my slice and somewhat enjoy the experience!! Wow!
This place used to be my go to spot. Not only would I frequently stop in, but I also recommended people here on a constant basis. The gray bearded man is rude and puts no effort into the food. Over the years I have seen him get more disrespectful towards me and other customers. It is blatantly apparent this lack of care is also reflected in the food he makes. Unfortunately, I see no fix for this so farewell picnic pizza.
This used to be my go to pizza place every week. My cousin would always die to get their pizza when in town, which is not often. They do not make the pizza in their brick oven anymore. They’ve changed the toppings on the salads to spicy pickled vegetables making it cheaper for them, which was disgusting in itself. The owner behind the counter is always so rude to me. I ordered a pie, went to pay for it without getting even greeted, just told the price, and when I went to pay I usually say keep the change on a take out but when I had my pizza nearly thrown at me without even so much as a thank you, I’ll never be back. The pizza has gone way down hill. It used to be one of my favorites…
I can't believe they're still in business. I ordered the work's pizza And when I got the delivery It was unbelievable. It was soggy big chunks of onions and gr few pepperoni. I had to. Get in my car and take It's back to them. It was. Absolutely Disgusting. They made me another pie, meat lovers and when I got it back. It had very little sauce almost like Plane tomato sauce tomato sauce. 🤢🤮 Do yourself A favor and don't eat there.
Very disappointed. We ordered a medium pizza with half of it mushrooms, the other half with cheese. It came out all cheese, no mushrooms. I took a bite and it tasted like cardboard. We remember the place when it was cozy and they had table service and great food. We were regular customers then. Now they have counter service and awful pizza. We won't be back!
Used to be good now its horrible. Just sad, from the food it tastes like a bad frozen pizza , chicken parm was dry no flavor sauce. Not sure what happened. Seems they don't care, spoke to the person there and did not care. Another place will be closing soon, give the new owner a year.
The old white haired man the pizzaiolo was yelling at the young woman at the register, telling her how stupid she was. The whole time we were there. The pizza wasnt very good either. The crust was burnt didnt gave much cheese. Ivwont ever go back there.
I will NEVER EVER Order from this place again! I don’t care if they give me a free order or it was the last pizza place in Kingston! The food is trash! After I paid almost $50, they originally told me 25 mins and that 25 minutes turned into 50. Then They gave me slices I did not order, on top of the slices ALL coming cold! The mozzarella sticks came cold and not cheesy.my receipt didn’t even have my full order on it! They just threw whatever slices they wanted in the damn box. And then gave me bread sticks which I didn’t even order smh. I called and spoke to the manager who said “I don’t know what to tell you. We’re busy that’s what happens when you have food delivered”. And here’s the kicker…. I LIVE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! Literally 30 seconds away! I shouldn’t have had cold food! The manager was VERY rude and arrogant! Didn’t offer me my money back or anything! Do yourself a favor and DONT ORDER FROM PICNIC PIZZA! Go elsewhere! This place should be shut down! Absolutely HORRIBLE! It is not like it used to be. The new owner obviously doesn’t care how his business is ran and it shows! They need a new manager in there who cares about the customers! It’s a very bad look on the business. Anyone that says this place is good is lying…. TERRIBLY .
This restaurant has been on the decline ever since they changed owners but this recent visit has been the worst. I took one bite of my salad which tasted off, I didn’t know if it was the dressing (which certainly wasn’t Caesar) or the overcooked chicken. Upon looking at my salad I found rotted pieces of lettuce. Gross! Then with my garlic knots the mariana sauce was just liquid. It’s such a shame, this restaurant was once a staple but it’s just bad now.
Ordered dinner, received a pizza that was inedible & complete mush on the bottom. I also ordered a large caesar & paid $2.75 extra for it to be a large with extra dressing. I did not receive a large Caesar but a toss salad instead, which was half the price. The manager decided to only refund the salad, because the pizza apparently doesn’t have sauce just cheese & according to them it’s supposed to be mushy.
