The food here is fantastic. The man who runs the place is constantly working so hard and really goes out of his way to make sure you have a good time. Outstanding place. We loved it!

Just returned from sunny Florida to much cooler temperatures. What a wonderful feeling when I walked in to find a nice warm fire going old friends and warm welcome. Five stars just isn't enough.

What a great restaurant! Food was excellent, very attentive staff, and pleasant, cozy atmosphere. Played "Live Team Trivia" while eating and having a beer. Lots of laughs and friendly people. A great way to spend a Thursday night. Highly recommend to everyone!

A great Midway stop between the mountains and highway. Pub atmosphere with clean socially distance tables and a great weight staff. My personal favorite is the pulled pork sandwich which is made from real pork tenderloin . I order it with onions and pickles and it reminds me of being in Texas with a flare. Staff is friendly and welcoming

Nice little log bar n grill with a good atmosphere. Food is good and the staff makes sure you are taken care of in a friendly and pleasant way. Stop in and check it out if in the area. Good for snowmobilers, motorcyclist or anyone looking for a place to warm up or cool off while having a drink and some light fare.

This place was great especially being a steak house in the middle of nowhere wear i On a out of the way road in New York the best cooked steak and the service was great, we were quite a ways out from the place a because we were looking for the chain restaurant and they were willing to send some one to get us to bring us to the place if we couldn't find it. Not a chain restaurant but the best place to eat to eat in the aria, so check it out.

Extensive interesting pub food menu. We loved our hamburgers, and a salmon entree. They were able to accommodate our vegan with a vegetable pasta dish. Tanya our server was spot on. Outdoor or indoor tables are available.

Went Saturday for lunch and Sunday for dinner. Both times food was very good & the service was great. Burgers are delicious as well as the pulled pork. Steak was excellent. The fried string beans were good.

It is one of the best places to eat in the area & it's open year round! The owner is super friendly and will cook the meals according to your needs & preferences! The serving dishes are large with big, delicious portions! Every dish has been cooked perfectly. Some of the meals that our table of 10 ordered: pizza, bbq & hot wings, philly cheesesteak, Reuben, shrimp scampi on linguine, Turkey wrap, & cheeseburger. You have to go there! Spend time with friends, have some drinks from the bar, play Trivia, Corn hole, or Keno, or you can eat outside under their tent (weather permitting), or just relaxed after a long day. Even the patrons are very friendly! Also, Lake Luzerne access is nearby. Love it & will return when I can!

All the food we had was absolutely fantastic! Everything tasted fresh, not frozen! We had a large party of 10 and another party of 8 or so was about 20 minutes behind us. The waitress was still very attentive and was able to bounce around the restaurant. The food was fast and the drinks were good! The live band was awesome too!! We will definitely be back!

Great service! We had the big dill burger. I cannot tell how much it was good. From all the burgers i have had in my life, this one has the crown! Also had the sweat oignon rings and sweet potato with raspberry dip. Awsome!

My dear friends go camping at Lake Luzerne every year. I've missed the past several years with them. They go up Thursday early afternoon - set up camp - then they go here for dinner AND trivia - I was able to experience The Long Horn restaurant this year and absolutely enjoyed this place a LOT. Top notch and certainly a local favorite because place was packed. Food is amazing and I'd go up there just to sit and eat again. Recommend for sure! No pics were takin but you won't be disappointed at all.

We showed up right at the busiest part of dinner hour with our 4 grandkids ages 5 to 14. They found a great table for us and the service was outstanding given how busy they were. Of course we soon found out why the Long Horn was such a busy place when they brought our orders cooked perfectly. Even our fussiest eater announced it was the best food he ever had ( and he’s like ‘Mikey’) If you’re anywhere near lake George don’t miss the Long Horn!

We’ve been big fans of the horn for a long time! They are family friendly and the food is amazing, not your typical “bar food.” Great for lunch or dinner as a family or grown up dinner and drinks. Recommend making a reservation during the summer/Rodeo season. At Christmas time they have an incredible Christmas village display that our toddler adored, while waiting for his humungous kids mac&cheese. Love the pulled pork, burgers are great, homemade chips are awesome, all desserts are incredible, and best Margaritas in the north.

I really miss places like this, the food was fresh, well put together and reasonably priced. All the staff was pleasant, even though they're going through the post-pandemic hiring issues they made it work. Gotta say, I was VERY impressed. I'm a picky eater and usually leave not happy with my meal when I go out. Stopped in today for lunch with a friend and the food was awesome! Bartender was very cool and the chef/owner was also very friendly. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend stopping in.

Went for lunch ordered there Jumbo barbecue/honey chicken wings for our appetizer. They were so tasty as well as meaty and piping hot when they were served to us. Our meals were just as fantastic so delicious and fulfilling! The server was fantastic asking how everything was and if you needed anything? Appetizers and meals served in a timely manner! Will be back again for sure!

Wow! What a great hidden gem in the Lake George area. Met the owner George while we were out to dinner at another local restaurant and he was so personable we decided to spend our last night on vacation dining at his restaurant-and we are SO glad we did! Staff is INCREDIBLE-from the top down! Food was amazing, atmosphere is cozy and laid back, and the service was fantastic! We WILL be back! (Ps-their Mac n cheese is AMAZING-shout out to Tina!)

Ordered the Bacon Bleu burger, Cordon Bleu Wrap and the Turkey Club Sandwich. Typically, take-out food is usually subpar, but this blew us away. We were very impressed with quality and presentation (especially for takeout food!!).The French fries were also delicious! Thank you.

Great food and service. I wish they served the full menu a little bit later, but I do appreciate they still serve wings, pizza and stuff like that after 9pm. This is one of the very few restaurant/bars left in the general area of our camp and I'm glad they're around.

It's becoming one of our local go tos. Last week we went to trivia night and played against 20 or people. It was fun and we were almost middle of the pack. Nice people, good food.

Don't let your passed experience keep you from giving the new owners a chance at servicing your appetite. Great food served up pronto in an old time favorite log structure. We were just wanting a good old messy burger and some good old fry's and we got just what we ordered in a timely manner.

Food was delicious, prices were excellent (especially for area) and service was outstanding. We were a group of 16, without reservations, that made a last minute decision to stop and eat. The server did an excellent job serving us all, kept orders "straight" (even when their computer system "broke down") and food was quick but didn't lack in quality. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Long Horn is sometimes the only available option for meals in the Lake Luzerne area, but trust me you won't be disappointed. The food is always great with generous portions and the staff is fantastic. Good pours from the bartenders. Owners work very hard to keep everyone happy!

Food was excellent. Had the corned beef Rubin and it was delicious. The French onion soup is excellent. The Buffalo chicken wrap was one of the best ice ever have.

The owner had suggested that we try the cheesecake (his wife makes it from scratch), so we did, and it was definitely not disappointing. One of the best cheesecakes I've tried (and I love cheesecake). If my boyfriend and I weren't traveling so far back to home, we would've ordered a take-out order of the cheesecake. SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE: Though it was a busy night, the owner greeted us and asked us if we wanted to be seated at the pub while we were waiting for a table to open up/or sit at the pub. We decided to eat at the pub. Throughout the evening, the owner was active in ensuring all his customers were cared for, checking in on how we're doing with our food, making jokes along the way with us. He joked around with his bartenders saying, "She may eat all your fries," joked with me saying, "So did you save some wings for me?" and "So tell me: the cheesecake is terrible, right?" Our food also came quickly despite being busy, and our bartender was excellent in checking in on our needs as well while managing all her other customers. Would definitely want to eat here again and I would definitely order my own slice of cheesecake instead of bargaining with my boyfriend on our one shared slice :)

My family and I were in the area for a camping trip. We decided to stop in to avoid some rain and we're so glad we did! The fall decorations were cozy and welcoming, the service was excellent and we were very happy with the food. We split some appetizers but the chicken wings were by far the best. Would highly recommend to anyone passing by.

We always enjoy longhorns. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. We usually get the Filet Mignon. Last time I got a cheeseburger. It was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned.

The place is busy which is a good sign that this is the place to eat, had a burger , expected the standard burger but the food was exceptional. Came out medium rare as ordered and tasted great, better than most and will be back again.

Everything about this place is awesome. The staff is probably the best part of the place. Their food is excellent, super-budget friendly and properly portioned, but every person that works there is super personable, polite and professional. I can’t say enough about the place. I’m trying to make it a weekly thing. Thursday night trivia, music on the weekends.

I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it is-I was pleasantly surprised. I've been to the Long Horn twice now, and both times the food has been consistently good. The service can take awhile if the bar is busy - we sat in the dining room-but it's worth the wait. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Parking can be a little annoying as the front of the restaurant sits on a blind corner, but with a little patience, you'll be okay.

The whole atsmosphere was Great! Nice , cozy, homy, relaxing, fun .. Server was great and he was Nice man! We were in tonight around 7:30pm .. Food was delicious my boyfriend had the French Dip with sweet potatoes fries and he really enjoyed it. The sauce for the Sweet potatoe fries was delicious as well as the jus for the French dip. I had the special pretzel burger sliders and that was delicious as well.. The side of home made chips was yummy .. I highly recommend this Spot ! Im A Chef back home where i work , from one chef to another your killing it Tiffany!! Thank for amazing food on my only summer vacation :)

An great bar food experience. The hot mess was absolutely delicious. The homemade cheese cakes are remenicint of Creole cheesecake. Incredibly soft and creamy. Very delicious. The beer selection is pretty good and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was that of a cozy northern bar.

Swung by after a day of river tubing and was pleasantly surprised. We got there just as the night shift was arriving and the band was setting up; so there was a bit of an expected wait for service. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of brighter "Merlotte's Bar and Grill" from True Blood, and the room temperature was a little warm because we were seated near the entrance. We waited maybe 20 minutes before the waiter came -- again, this was to be expected -- and the girl who sat us gave us a heads up when we arrived. But once the waiter took our drink and food order, things sped up quite a bit. Our drinks arrived quickly and he was on top of ensuring we always had full glasses. He made some great menu suggestions and we loved everything. I had the Mushroom Swiss burger with a side of fries, and the food was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The kids loved their meals as well and we would definitely come back when we're in the area.

Great place to eat. Lots of options and good prices. Adirondack log style inside with a bar and pool table. Good atmosphere and also family friendly. They have regular tables and high tops. The French fries and chips were homemade and so good. All of our sandwiches were great. We’d go back.

Stopped in while helping Daughter move to area. Steak was 14 Oz. Didn’t think I would be able to finish. Did. Cooked just way I asked. Tender and juicy. Waitress was very cordial and friendly. Pointing out specials and other food items to choose from. This is definitely a place we will return to. It was a cool sunny afternoon noon so we dined outside. Nice experience.

Had a great time and some great eats and beverages at Long Horn Restaurant & Pub on Lake Luzerne in NY on Sunday. We played in an 8 team Cornhole tournament with a great bunch of guys and gals who seemed to really enjoy the game and some good razzing. We were fortunate enough to win it all! We did find it surprising the winning team would only earn about 27% of the total pot for a payout?? 🤷‍♂️ Regardless, we were very happy to have had an opportunity to play! Nice place. Good people. Great food and drink.

A great restaurant to get away from busy downtown Lake George. Food was made fresh and was delicious. There was adequate parking. Loved the fireplace and the cabin feel. Minor drawback was off color conversation in bar area.

We have been coming to the area for many years and always say we need to try this place! So glad we finally made it in. Warm friendly greeting at door, live music, our waitress was amazing and the food was good! Overall a great experience and we can’t wait to go back!

Had a great time here. A real gem in the middle of the Hudson River area. The staff was very friendly, quick to provide details about the food and specials. The roasted pork grilled cheese sandwich was excellent and the loaded nachos were no slouch either!

Cool old building that looks like it belongs in the middle of the woods. Seems like a great "locals" hangout. The food was ok. Beer choices were minimal. The celery and carrots that came with our wings were very small and VERY limp. Our meals were ok. The best part by far was the service by Brandy. She killed it while working tables inside and out. Great attitude/personality even though she was obviously slammed.

Fairly slow when we arrived around 9, just popped in for a beer. Waitress took our order, brought our drinks and never saw her again until I hunted her down to pay the bill. Nice enough place though

We were in area vacationing ans this was the only place open to eat. Thank goodness. The guy playin was good. The service definitely was not up to par. The food which was only chicken fingers ans fries took foreverrr. The waitress asked if we wanted a second round of drinks of course we do. 15 min we look she talkin to bartender she finally comes with our food and were like can we have our drinks now. She blames it on the bartender and not to cause a seen i didnt day anything. Why lie u sat there talkin to bartender the whole time. Would we go back if we are in area probably but if it was a repeat then no. The other downfall is when u walk in says wait to be seated but there is a wall that blocks the bar so u either wait and hope someone comes or walk to bar to let them know ur there which we had to do.

I want to start out by stressing that everyone that works there was super friendly and it was quite refreshing! We got the special of a pretzel and cheese. I'm not sure why the Pretzel was served cold but the cheese was amazing. Basically everything else was under seasoned and kind of bland and it was overpriced. The $3 up charge to put bacon in my macaroni and cheese was a little bit unfounded when I had to get my magnifying glass to find it. That being said, I would still go there again, however if you're going to pay over $80 for a meal for 2 adults and a toddler you would hope that it was a little bit better.

Showed up the place was empty Park my camper out front and only took two spots I'm assuming the owner came to my table and asked me if it was my camper I said yes he informs me that's why he bought a lot across the street granted no signs telling me to park across the street let alone I got to take my young grandson across that highway and when I move my camper which I was almost done with my beer and I had to pay the bill and I was out of there I walked around the parking lot and there was at least three spots available

It is truly an American place. And the first time ever I didn’t feel welcome by a waitress. Probably because we are not Americans.

Have eaten here many times with my wife. Always was happy with price and value. On August 1,2014 I brought the whole family and it was a major disaster. Took over 1 1/2 hours to get food and it was horrible. Service was fine and the atmosphere very nice.BUT the food was either overcooked or under cooked. Will think very hard before I trust their kitchen again. Most of the folks that ate there that night got the same poor treatment. Hope the owners figure out what went wrong and fix it. well I decided to give this place another try. Went for dinner on Wednesday 11-4-15, not crowded this time so my hopes were up! It took 1/2 hour to get our meals and I have to say mine was great! My wife's salmon burger was prepared with rotten fish. It STANK! I could not believe that no one caught this in the kitchen. Final decision is we shall never darken their door again. Bye...bye... longhorn. You will be missed!

Friendly staff, good ADK atmosphere, food was subpar for us. I would like to see less frozen food, more homemade. Possibly fewer menu items would allow for higher quality. Also a couple local ADK beers even in bottles would have been nice. Tap was all domestic and then Ithaca Flower Power. 2 stars is harsh but hopefully they can improve.

Great meal, unfortunately don’t use a bank card for billing, places a four percent surcharge on total bill, doesn’t sound like much, but it all adds up.

I used to love this place, but it has gone way down the prices have qualdroped and the portions have shrunk big time the help is never the same they used to be so friendly . The Sunday Special isn’t special anymore so I give them a 2 star

$100 for two plates of soggy wings, A mini serving of nachos that tasted like cardboard and four beers!! I love a good redneck bar/restaurant every now and then and expected their bar food to be better. Service was awful and food was worse will not be back!!!!

The beer was flat out of the tap, and then selection of beer was minimual. The staff was nice, our waitress did seem like she was still in training mode because she couldn't really tell what type of beers she had. The food was better then then the beer situation, the French dip was good and my husband's hamburger was also good. It did seem like everything took along time to get to our table, by the time out second beers came out we were practically done with our meals.

I live directly across the street. Just called to order a sandwich to pickup. I was told they cannot take any orders. Just to busy. I can see the parking lot from my porch I've been in this place before where there was standing room only. I was still able to place an order. Sorry, never again. Not an acceptable response.
