WOW! You HAVE to try this place if you're looking for a casual snack or meal while walking the strip. The tantalizing smell wafting out the front door onto the street was our first indication something tasty was going on, and sure enough after looking at other fast-ish food in town (and not wanting to spend $50 for lunch for 2, nor having time for it) we decided to visit. The food is AWESOME, freshly made, and absolutely delicious. Prices were *very* reasonable as well. When we are in town again next year we WILL be back!

It was good, burrito was great. The only problem is during the busy season here (summer hiking) that it gets long lines and the wait can be around 30 minutes. Quality was pretty great for a tex Mex otherwise!

Was in lake placid for dinner because we had a chance to do some ice shuffling. Stopped into Wyatt's for dinner. I ended up getting the Sasquatch burrito which I wasn't really thinking when I ordered it and looked and asked what it was. The food I ordered lol, it was enormous I kinda wish I took a Picture of it. It was really delicious and would order again. Also ordered chips and guac, the brisket Mac and cheese which was okay and quesadillas. Will definitely be back to try more menu items next summer when we come up for camping.

We came through for the eclipse and were looking for a bite to eat in town. After walking the whole strip and seeing how overpriced so many of the other options were, the prices of Wyatt's were refreshing. So we stopped in for some upstate NY tex-mex... and hot damn if we weren't pleasantly surprised! Considering how busy the town was that day, the service was quite quick, and the food was DELICIOUS! A great little grab and go spot that we'll be revisiting next time we trek up.

Ordered takeout for the family. Two salad bowls, one nacho, one sasquatch burrito, and some chips and dips. Everything was ready in about 10 minutes. Everyone loved their dinners! Sasquatch burrito with the slow roasted brisket was amazing and ruined all other burritos for me! Salad greens were fresh, chicken in each was flavorful but not overpowering. Nachos were loaded. Definitely would order again!

I ordered food from here for an employee appreciation picnic at my office. I called this in over a month ago and when I arrived yesterday, everything was boxed and ready for me in very convenient packaging with labels on each one. The food was a hit! Everyone loved it. There were options for everyone and so many toppings to choose from. There was so much food that everyone took a to go container home for dinner too. I'm sold on this place!

Simple little place. You get to choose everything you want in your burrito. Which made it highly customizable. Burritos were large which was great. I just got the taco beef. And it was super flavorful and well seasoned.

Fast service and great burrito, chips and guacamole. I had the brisket burrito and highly recommend it.

Got a very tasty and very filling burrito here. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. The ordering system makes it very easy for introverts and picky eaters alike. Great grab and go food.

Pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Two of us shared it but it was so good we wanted to order more. Came with free Mac & cheese which was nice too

Grab and Go. Where Tex mets Mex, not sure about that part, but excellent regardless. My kid has demanded Wyatt's for years whenever we vacation in the area.

Great Mexican/Southern BBQ mix. They have some interesting combinations that taste great. The prices are good and the food is also great. One of my favorite places to eat in Lake Placid. Also helps that my name is on the sign too. I am not the owner nor am I in anyway affiliated with Wyatt's restaurant in Lake Placid.

Wyatt’s is consistently awesome. Try their mac and cheese/brisket burrito—it won’t disappoint! Very convenient, always open, fast and friendly service, and family owned! Our go-to place in Lake Placid.

M

Everytime we are in the area, we make it a point to eat at Wyatts. We just about had everything on the menu at this point and you can't go wrong. Only downside is the limited seating but you can find a nice spot on the lake to enjoy your meal. Best Tex Mex on the east coast.

This place was very filling and tasty! I got the Tijuana Burrito, thankfully they have Vegatarian/Vegan options and my Fiance loved the one with the Sweet potatoes. None of us could finish our food, very big positions!

Two words: Habanero pork. It doesnt matter what you get: burrito, taco, etc...put the habanero pulled pork in it.

Great food, efficient service, and a loyalty program that keeps the locals engaged. I've always been impressed by the quality of Wyatt's burritos, and I've lost count of how many I've eaten at this point. Thanks for feeding so many Main Street mainstays!

Great value delicious food. Was really glad I encountered this place while visiting Lake Placid area. Burrito was delicious and there were many many options. Possibly the tastiest burrito I ever had. I spent three times as much money at a restaurant around the corner a few days later (pickled pig) and the food was cold and unappealing. Just regret not leaving a bigger tip at Wyatt’s.

Walked by this gem in lake placid and decided to come back after walking around. The food was amazing!!! Burritos are huge and delicious, brisket quesadillas with onions were packed full! Don’t skip the chipotle ranch either, perfect addition! I would have had photos but we scarfed everything down. Also staff was super nice and very helpful!

Just ate here and the food was so good!! The service was great. They were closing when we arrived and happily agreed to take our order. We ordered vegetarian Quesadillas and rice bowl and everything was delicious! Super nice staff. Definitely recommend.

I will give this five stars even though the macaroni and cheese wasn't exactly at a warm enough temperature. But the flavor was there and I was very happy. I also got a burrito and it was amazing. In the summer the line is out the door for this place so I knew I had to try it. It's worth it! It's not even really that expensive

We found this place by watching locals go into this area. We happen to notice a lot of local people stopping for lunch here. So we said that's the good place. We walked up spoke to one of the nice ladies and asked how we could order. She explained the process and in no time we received our food. The portions were big, the flavors were all there. If anything the guac was too salty but it had good flavor. Very good place if you want to eat a satisfying Mexican meal.

Best burritos in town! Okay, maybe the only burrito place in town... But they make darn good food, always stop when I am in LP.

C

My son's favorite tex mex restaurant. We had to buy him a shirt. It is great for takeout. There is limited seating, we stay at the hotel next to it so we usually take the food down to the beach benches and eat it there.

Very good for a quick (and huge) bite while walking down Main Street! Super easy to order and customize using their order forms. Hubby got a chipotle chicken burrito which was the biggest burrito ive ever seen. And I got a burrito bowl with a mac and cheese base. It was all excellent and the portions are huge. We also got a couple beers there. Staff was super friendly! Not really anywhere to sit but we found a table at Eleanor’s which is owned by the same people.

I love that they have diced sweet potatoes as one of the many ingredient choices for burritos. The salsa is great. The guac is great. If you ask for jalapeno peppers be specific about how much you want or you might get more heat than you expect. I eat at Wyatt's many times each summer when I visit Lake Placid. Affordable and yummy.

If I could get this place 10 stars I would! He accommodated an entire hockey team and their family on a tournament weekend with less than six hours notice to feed all of us. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The price was right and there were plenty of leftovers for the next day! We will definitely be eating here again! Please support a small business with a big heart 🏒💛💙

We stumbled into this place! It was good and filling! I enjoyed by burrito bowl and my daughter enjoyed the mac and cheese and tacos ( odd combo but what do u expect with a 8 year old!) There wasnt much seating as it was mainly take out but we snagged a seat and got to enjoy our food! Greay place!

Kaylee La Spisa

Good prices for tourist town (8.50$ for a good sized burrito). Had a wide range of free extras and toppings that were delicious. Employees/owners were amiable and relaxed. Burrito was crazy filling and awesome. Cilantro was fresh (which I appreciate). Would munch again :).

Walking down main St. I had the pleasure of smelling the brisket and pork shoulders cooking. It drew me in and I immediately ordered the burrito with brisket and Mac and cheese. NOT YOUR STANDARD BURRITO, but it was AWESOME my picture shows an empty basket because I demolished it. 5 stars must try!!! As a southerner I appreciated their rub approach to and BBQ sauces which they had a Georgia and south Carolina type that were excellent. Please give them your business.

R
Rich Karuschkat

A pleasant surprise. We wouldn't normally seek out a TexMex restaurant, but when we walked past, and smelled the amazing BBQ aroma, we had to give it a try. This place did not disappoint. The pulled pork was great, the beef tacos were just like home, and the chicken quesadilla was perfect. Even the chips and queso were good. I'm convinced you can't go wrong with any option here. We stayed at the Golden Arrow resort so this was connected, and a perfect location for us.

Great place to stop by for a quick and delicious burrito, taco or whatever Mexican food you're into. Staff was really friendly and nice. Have been coming here for a long time. Seating is a bit sparse but then again it's more of an in-out place. They have added seating in the walkway outside. Be sure to give them a try

b
bryan jennings

Well worth the stop, got a Sasquatch and a brisket platter, the brisket was soft enough the toothless could eat it, their Mac and cheese is great, as Sasquatch's cousin I approve the Sasquatch. But the kid working there makes the place more than just a restaurant, that kid brings passion for culinary experience even this far out in the sticks.

Great place for a healthy rice bowl as an alternative to unhealthy burger and fry joints. We went there 2 straight nights. Very satisfied!

I've gone there twice so far and ordered the brisket nachos each time. They're that good. Delicious!!! The brisket is amazing and falls apart. So tender! They know how to make it right. I will definitely be going back and trying their quesadilla wrapped burrito. The staff are friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere and look to it. Treat yourself.

OMG! My first thought was, hmmm, what’s going on here? Then I took in the customers in and out all happy munching and having fun. I went for it and it was super fresh, big burrito portion could be easily shared, and was soooo good. I went back 3 times in the 4 days I was in Lake Placid. Seating is limited, but so what? You’re in beautiful LP with Mirror Lake right down the road. Enjoy :-)

Grab a paper in the hall and highlight what you want! It’s simple and fast for everyone. Cute little location. The food was great! I got one of the best quesadilla’s I’ve ever had and tried one of the best burrito bowls I’ve ever had. The queso wasn’t my favorite, tasted like cheese with chili powder.. But prices are great & food is amazing. It’s a good, quick lunch spot. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic food! Absolutely satisfied with everything. Good portions, flavourful food. We ate here twice. First time we had the Mac bowl with various toppings. The next night we had a chicken quesadilla and beef brisket sandwich. I'm so used to brisket with bbq sauce but this one came with mustard. I was reluctant but I was pleasantly surprised. The brisket was so tender.

Wyatt’s in Lake Placid, NY, is a spot worth checking out. Each person gets a menu slip and a highlighter. Write your name, choose your fillings, and voilà! If you’re craving Tex-Mex flavors, this is your place. The brisket is on point, and their burrito bowls hit the spot. They have double meat option which was the selling point for me. The brisket burrito bowl was a winner. Their portions may not be huge, but the flavors make up for it. So, if you’re in Lake Placid, swing by Wyatt’s for a taste of New York-sized burritos.

Super casual takeout place on the main drag of lake placid. Solid combinations of burritos, tacos, quesadillas and salads with good flavors, although somewhat adapted for a more American palate. Plates are made to your preference using an order sheet to pick toppings and ingredients. We had a great lunch, very satisfying. Note, there is an off menu breakfast burrito in the morning while supplies last. I haven’t had it, but am very curious and will be back!

We always eat here when we're in lake Placid! It's a great grab and go option for people looking not to sit down and eat. The food taste fresh and the orders come fast even on their busy days. Always recommend the tacos. They're a great portion size.

Wyatt’s is a true gem if you’re craving Mexican food in Lake Placid. The flavors are fresh, bold, and authentic — you can tell everything is made with care. The tacos were perfectly seasoned with tender meat and just the right amount of spice, and the homemade salsas added a great kick without being overpowering. I also tried the burrito bowl, which was packed with flavor and super filling. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and everything comes out hot and well-presented. The staff were friendly and quick, even during a busy dinner rush, and the casual, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. If you’re visiting Lake Placid and want a break from typical bar food, Wyatt’s should be your go-to spot. Great value, great flavors, and genuinely great people running it. Highly recommend the carnitas tacos and chips with guacamole — you won’t be disappointed! 🌮🔥

We ordered to go 2x while staying in the area. Both times were excellent and food ready before they promised. Star of the show is the habanero pork on whatever you like (bowl, burrito, taco). Everything was fresh and if I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular. Portions are large and priced well. Don't miss out on this place.

This is a very good Mexican food restaurant in Lake Placid's downtown. We walked by one of the nights of our long weekend, and wondered if we should give it a try. We opted for another, over-priced, Louisiana/Cajun themed place across the street. We then decided to try a couple of tacos for a mid-afternoon snack at Wyatt's the next day. We wished we had chosen Wyatt's for dinner the night before. In addition to the great food, the staff is friendly, courteous, and welcoming. They do an all-around great job. Oh, and the prices are right on the mark too!

Tasty and hearty meal for a decent price. Cheapest dinner in town! Small location but great for take out. Made fresh to order. HUGE burritos - you will be stuffed!

Good Tex Mex. Had heard the brisket was good so I got a dish with brisket, peppers, cheese and cornbread. All good. My daughter had the tacos and liked them OK but was happier with her meal at Eleanor's, a pasta place next door owned by the same people.

Really tasty and big burrito 🌯 the price is regular but near from high. Good and super friendly attention

It was alright, no complaints. I had the burrito for dinner and got the upsize for extra $2. Was planning on having a nice breakfast at the hotel the next morning before my big hike but wasn't hungry at all because of the size of that burrito. Went to hike Big Slide and I'm usually starving by the time I summit - nope, still not hungry. Descended back down, still not hungry. Finally by mid afternoon I felt like eating again. Can't complain about the portion size, that sucker must have been 3000 calories.

M

Food is ok. Feels like it’s missing a little flavor. Got a burrito bowl and I was looking for everything to be hot only heat I tasted was the jalapeños. But we have been going to this taco place for years

R

We were looking for something on the go with the kids while walking down Main Street and we stumbled on Wyatt’s. Ordering was simple with the slip. The process of ordering and menu was easy to understand. Great friendly service. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese which was delicious. My husband ordered the soft tacos and found them too watery. The quesadillas were ok. Wait time was a little long but overall satisfied.

Eclectic & easy counter service with super tasty Tex Mex. Good bbq and hot sauces. No frills just good food! Beer and wine available.

K

Quick and tasty take out! I appreciate that they have you highlight an order form to minimize talking, and provided hand sanitizer next to the order forms. The brisket was tender, and the pork in the burrito bowl was really flavorful! The sweet potatoes in the burrito bowl was a nice addition. Pleasantly surprised by the chipotle ranch sauce. The amount of guac was a bit small for the price, but still tasty.

A
Andrew Mattson

A grab and go Tex-Mex place in Lake Placid. They were all out of brisket unfortunately but I got a burrito rice bowl and chips and guacamole and it was pretty good. You have to fill out a little sheet ti hand in your order but overall they had a good variety to build your own tacos, burritos, or rice bowls.

We dined here on a Saturday afternoon and I had the brisket tacos and let me tell you they were off the hook! Lots of meat and of such a variety of toppings it was absolutely delicious! Would totally recommend this place to anyone stopping through Lake Placid.

This place is a literal hole in the wall. Food was pretty solid, and at a pretty good price for the location. Mac n cheese was decent. This is a good place for a quick take out meal; there is only one table on site. Would definitely come back again if I was in town.

Tim Brown

We picked up a couple of meals here for dinner to go. My wife had a burrito bowl kind of thing and I had a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese on the side. Service was relatively quick, but my wife reported that her bowl was lacking a bit in flavor. My sandwich was good. Prices were reasonable for Lake Placid.

R
Rob Williams

The takeout ordering process during covid is efficient and organized - you just write your order with sanitized pens and there is hand sanitizer available. The burrito and burrito bowl we tried was only okay. It felt like there was something missing flavor wise, and the brisket was dry.

M
Mike Lucrezio

Great little hole-in-the-wall and definitely worth a stop for some decent Mexican food. I had the brisket burrito. The brisket was a bit fatty and kind of tasteless but ingredients were fresh the burrito was filling and overall, I walked away satisfied.

A

I came here with two friends after a full day of skiing at Whiteface, and I got the All American burrito. It was quite delicious! Inside was brisket, mac and cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, jalapenos, and spicy salsa. I didn't want sour cream. The restaurant itself is small and there isn't much seating, but there were some seats outside so we sat there. The restaurant is part of a bigger plaza so the outside area was shielded from the wind. Anyway, the burrito was good and I liked the tortilla which was jalapeno cheddar (they also have flour and wheat), but the flavor didn't really change much. The burrito was huge and the mac and cheese added a good flavor. The burrito wasn't too well-balanced though, as all the ingredients were concentrated toward the middle and the bottom of the burrito. The brisket was soft and juicy but lacked flavor. The spicy tomato salsa wasn't very spicy (actually it wasn't spicy at all), and although I got a bit of BBQ sauce in my burrito, I didn't really taste that either. All in all a novel experience eating a burrito with brisket and mac and cheese, but the flavors need to be stronger! The burrito was also quite expensive at $10.57 post-tax.

J
Jon Kislin

The service is efficient and friendly, and I'm usually not hungry afterwards, so I'm happy to give three stars. Still, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the food is okay but definitely feels mass produced/lacking, and a bit pricey considering. I'm a big fan of Tex-Mex (in addition to traditional Mexican food), but even considering that, there's room for improvement here. Examples: The guacamole and chips look and taste like they're from a package and it's a small portion of both - very disappointing for the $6 price tag. I usually get a burrito - tasty but not great. Could definitely have more filling, even with the $2 overstuffed upgrade; not sure everything I fill out on the sheet even makes it in the burrito. I'm happy to pay an extra dollar for guacamole but sometimes never see/taste it inside. Suggestions: Homemade chips and guacamole would go a long way, and I'd really like to see the burritos made with a little more care - would be happy to wait a little longer as the service is great already. Wyatt's could be great and would love to see it get there!

C
Cameron Knight

Very quick service and pleasant staff, give it a try of you want since nice quick food! LP can get crowded and it's a great location to get a quick bite. I was surprised that we did not super enjoy our brisket n mac dish or queso. Perhaps I would have liked another dish.

B
Brian Schwind

Make sure of pickup time BEFORE you place ONLINE order. I placed order and got a delivery time of 45 minutes later. I tried to cancel the order in app, which you can only do by phone and they don't answer the phone or listen to voicemails. I was still charged for the order that I never got.

M
Mikenzie Ogrady

Everything is ok. Like the food is fine, for lake placid thats one of the least expensive places to eat and get good portions. But nothing knocks your socks off. Theres a little table to eat at, but if its taken you've gotta hoof it with your food through town.

C
Carolyn Siva

The food portions were larger than I expected and it tasted pretty good but the noise leve I did not expect. It was our first time there. The vibe is more so a bar vibe but outside of that is was ok. Chill relax and drink a beer, then this is your spot

T
Tijuana

The restaurant was recommended by friends. We ordered beef tacos, a burrito bowl and a burrito. We ordered soft shell tacos but got hard shells. They were good. The burrito bowl (habanero BBQ pork) was also well received - except that we paid $1.20 for guacamole and got about 1 teaspoon Unfortunately, my burrito (chipotle chicken) lacked flavor and was lackluster.

Family trip April 11,12 2025 . Friday grabbed a habanero pulled pork sandwich with Mac on side. Prolly best pulled pork I ever had. Worker was Asian with other staff. Not friendly but epic food. Saturday for hell of it we wanted same for dinner to take back to hotel. This time noticed Asian worker alone. When time to take our order I made a loud point to say "brother pulled pork yesterday was amazing" he looked at computer and completely ignored me making me feel like a complete idiot in front of others. He def heard but didn't care because he was busy. Got back to hotel and my food was incorrect, plain pulled pork, no sauce. Yeah good but not what I ordered. Bout the most unfriendly worker I've seen in a while. If you hate your job then leave. You are in customer service, might need to acknowledge and talk to your customers here and there. And give me correct orders.

Michael dmitry

The food was a decent serving size and had great service. They had a nice flow of people ordering at one window and delivering in another giving ample space to socially distance. The price you can’t beat! The food was flavorful but tasted mass-produced. Probably wouldn’t go back but everyone loves it so maybe I just missed a good meal!

You help design your own burrito or taco. The tacos we ordered were good. The vegetarian burrito was over cooked and mushy. Update: Just stopped by again ...it’s good comfort food at an affordable price.

I was excited to try Wyatt's. I love trying independent places. It's located in the heart of Lake Placid center. The menu, photos, and reviews were good. The food came fast, but the portions were really small for the price. I had the brisket bowl which was really disappointing. The meat was a slab of fat. I ordered sour cream and the entire portion was bathed in it. Honestly, Chipotle, a chain, is a much better choice compared to Wyatt's. It really wasn't great.

B
B Hook

been here 3 times and the food is never served hot but always luke warm. it's not a mistake, I think this is how they think you serve food.

T
Tye Z

If you’re a business, and your hours are until 8:00 on a Saturday night, especially when there is a big event going on in town, then you be prepared, and you take orders until 8:00!! You don’t stop taking orders at 7:00 because “oh darn, we’re falling behind. Sorry, wah wah…”. Being open means you are open for business, period. A very disappointing way to run a business. And honestly there is no atmosphere here. It’s basically a takeout window. They can’t even take your order; you have to fill out your own.

M
Magda Teter

The burrito we ordered was tasty hence two stars otherwise it would have been one. I placed an order for nachos and a burrito. It was surprisingly ready in less than 10 minutes. It's clear why. Everything was cold. Nachos were store bought chips with store bought shredded cheese and other things here and there tossed together. They were cold not melted and warm. The burrito was cold too. Come on! That's just unacceptable.

G
G P

Don't get the soft shell tacos. They're too thin and get too moist by the time you sit down. The filling falls right though the shell. Not sure if the burritos are thicker. I gave it two stars because the filling was good but it's a poor attempt at a traditional street taco.

L
Laura Tringali Holmes

Tacos and burritos strangely tasteless and dry. Would not return.

M
Melissa Robertson

This is cafeteria food at best. Chicken was dry, nachos/chips and salsa used cheap store bought chips. Salsa was salty, and the burrito didn't have any flavor.

T
Thom White

Well was going to order food when the most arrogant Asian guy was so rude I didn't even bother. July 4. Wasn't even that busy. Yeah. I don't spend my money on businesses that act like they don't need or want me there 💯

A
Al Adams

Not enough employees. Slow as can be and rather rude about their quirky ordering system.

R
Robert Pickard

We ordered their food online for delivery literally across the street in the Grand Adirondack Hotel (which has no in-room dining). It took more than an hour and the food arrived stone cold. One of the burritos was OK but the other contained the wrong ingredients and was basically a shell overstuffed with rice, the cheapest ingredient and very little of key contents like chicken which was almost completely absent. They did not include cutlery or napkins in the bag.

K
K K

Food was okay… got a burrito bowl, 4 tacos, chips and cheese for takeout and walked far down the road just to find out we didn’t have any utensils or napkins in the bag. Keep in mind we ordered 45 dollars worth of food and there was nobody in line. I walked back to ask for a fork to eat the burrito bowl, and figured I will order some chips and salsa too… big mistake. Common sense tells you that even if there’s a line, and that I just ordered a bunch of food 5 minutes prior, that chips and salsa would be nearly a grab and go…Mentioned to the poor guy working there that I just ordered and don’t have utensils to eat the burrito bowl, so I would like a fork with the chips and salsa!… he said oh darn I forgot! And went back to making someone else’s order. And again someone else’s order. And again someone else’s order. Im standing there for over 10 minutes for chips and salsa (the chips come out of a big plastic sealed bag from Costco/hannaford) all the while my food is getting cold. I ended up asking where I can get a fork from him and he instructed me to reach over the roped off section and grab one… At this point I still don’t have the overpriced (6.00 for generic yellow corn round chips and salsa)… so I left. Someone please hire more people at this location because 1 poor kid at 6 pm on a Saturday is embarrassing. Also please understand priority of customer orders and that scooping a handful of chips into a container takes 5 seconds, and isn’t worth making them wait 15 minutes! What a shame.

I have never left a review before on anything and I never thought my first one would be a negative review. We are locals, my husband went to pick up our food tonight, expecting an online order, and stood there waiting for our food 10-15 minutes, staff having seen him come in and making eye contact with him. Another lady waiting finally asked about her online order and ONLY THEN were they told the ordering was down. Online ordering being down is not the issue btw, we’ve never had an issue with it before and it happens, that’s fine, but 10-15 minutes no service? No one else was there but my husband and that lady. Then finally when he was able to get serviced he got yelled at, not being dramatic, actually yelled at and given attitude by a staff member because he didn’t realize that on the menu it said they were out of brisket that day. My husband was absolutely shocked and did not deserve that behavior. I hope that this can be resolved. In terms of the food, we’ve ate there a good amount, it’s not my favorite but my husband and most people in town really enjoy it, definitely fresh, priced affordable and fairly and is a good restaurant for Tex Mex take-out.

The mango drink was loved by my daughter. While the tacos had plenty of meat it was highly lacking in flavor of any kind. Two tacos, one mango drink totaled $25

I wanted to like this place. The portions were big, but the food was like warm at best. I got both a burrito bowl and sasquatch burrito, the risked was great, everything else lacked flavor. Staff: the Asian guy was the rudest person. First, he scared me when he was yelling for a customer, fine. He proceeded to let no one in particular know that "that's what happens when you stand where you are" (by the take out doorway). Okay. He wouldn't look at me while I ordered and then took off saying something about me. 2. When it came to getting my order, they barely said a thing and when I asked if it was my order, I was told to look. As in opening the bag full of food. I will not be going back.

Please don't eat here and think that this is how Tex-Mex is suppose to taste. Ordered the brisket plate: brisket, rice, beans, guacamole. Everything was bland, the brisket was overcooked and dry, and Taco Bell mild sauce is more flavourful than their "hot" sauce.

Came on a weekday night, waited over an hour to just place a takeout order and receive food. Chips were bagged tostitos, guac was overly sour, burrito and bowls were bland with wilted lettuce. Overall disappointing experience especially for the time we waited.

I got the Sasquatch burrito and everything was soggy and it all lacked flavor unfortunately. Was only able to take a few bites. Flavor profile needs some improvement.

Would have been great if the stench/taste of beyond expired sour cream didn't ruin the entire dish.... what a waste of money. I've worked in food and have a lot of patience/sympathy but serving expired sour cream is just foul and lazy.

I don’t understand how this place has such good ratings my burrito tasted like nasty airport food with mushy potatoes and they didn’t add any of the toppings I chose including the protein which I paid extra for. Normally I would just let it go but I’m disputing the charges with my credit card company because I didn’t get what I paid for and the food was inedible. I had to throw it out and get dinner again somewhere else.

First and only nice this about this place is that it smells great when you walk by. Everything good ends there though, the staff is unfriendly and dismissive. The food is inedible, the chicken tacos were a sloppy, watery and completely lacking in flavor. Kids didn't finish their food, I didn't either. Possibly the worst place in Lake Placid I had the misfortune to eat at.

Cold tacos with a sauce that tasted like mustard. Never eating here again.

We stopped at Wyatt's after a day of hiking looking for quick take out. They were quick, that's where the positive things end. We ordered two chicken bowls. The chicken looked and smelled like canned chicken, the rice was mushy and bland. It was totally inedible.

I need to leave one star because of how bland and boring and simple this food was. This isn't so much the workers faults (they all seemed super friendly and great), but whoever is ordering the ingredients and creating the..."recipes." I asked for peppers and onions in a burrito bowl, and I got two singular pepper slices and two singular onion slices. Very small, barely there. The ground beef was clumped together as if it were meant to be meatballs. It didn't have much flavor at all, as if it were seasoned with salt and pepper and nothing else. Overall, it's really sad that this is one of the only places in LP that people can get relatively quick take out when every other restaurant is booked. It doesn't matter if this is Mexican or Tex Mex style food - it is not made to fit into either of those categories. It's just plain simplistic. If you don't like flavor and are a picky eater, I think this place is probably fine for you. If you want bright flavors and spices this is not the place to go. I spent the rest of my night with a stomach ache.

Do not waste your time here. I came after reading reviews about good food and generous portions, but that was not my experience at all. We ordered a veggie burrito, a veggie burrito bowl, and chips with salsa. The burrito was okay in size, but the burrito bowl was a complete disappointment — the portion was tiny, like we got only half a serving. I wish I had taken pictures to show how little food we actually received. The chips were not fresh either — clearly store-bought and definitely not worth the price. Also the sitting area is across at the Italian place if you want to sit and eat, otherwise you have to take it back to your room and eat it there. Overall, it was a letdown. There are much better options out there — I’d recommend skipping this one.

I was really excited to try Wyatt’s. The food came fast and looked good. However, it was all about the looks. The meat was bland, the rice was too soft, the queso didn’t taste like Mexican queso and the chips were store bought. I was disappointed and will be going to Chipotle from now on.

Ordered a quesadilla online. Barely any cheese, not enough to hold it together. Tortilla not grilled at all. Asked for lettuce and tomato, came with none. Guac very very salty, and I like my food a bit salty. I'm a local and work on Main St., very disappointed.

If you are looking for authentic mexican food this is not the place to be. The tacos tasted like something you would get from a box at home. Same goes for the chips guacamole and queso. I don’t ever leave reviews but unfortunately i was very disappointed and just trying to let other folks know.

Nobody there on a Monday at 6pm. Guy acted angry we ordered? Why you big mad bro we ordered tacos at a taco spot? Smh like it's tacos get over yourself and be humble

I wanted to explore the place based on the high rating, which I believe is mostly because of transitory nature of customers rather than a steady base considering the location. I ordered grande chicken burrito with jalapeño cheddar tortilla, cilantro rice with chipotle chicken and I must say that this was the worst burrito I have ever had. The chicken was too salty and the rice was undercooked. I wouldn’t recommend this place
