Opinions de Buckle and Boots Watering Hole Lancaster
I'm a 7th generation Texan, and one of a small handful of folks who can legitimately say I grew up in Luckenbach, Texas. Further, both of my grandmother's were renown world class cooks. That all being said, . . . this place's ROCKS!! I haven't had mouth watering BBQ brisket like this since I arrived in California. The only thing missing was some fresh white (or sourdough) bread to slather up the sauces. The baked beans were pretty seasoned. The green beans were perfect in every way. The Drunken chicken Quesadilla really surprised me. It was not your traditional finger food that I expected. It was much better than I could have imagined! We also had the Spinich & Artichoke dip, and we're happy to find not only was it delicious, but the chips it came with were served warm! To top it all off, the service was spectacular!! Chuck even crafted me some traditional Texas sweet tea as good as Bill Miller himself would have made. Great atmosphere too!! We will definitely be back to try more of these deliciousnesses!!
Hosted a company holiday party at Buckle & Boots. Ria made it so easy to work out details leading up to the event. Food was delicious. Ambiance was great. Bartenders were fantastic. We had a great night!
If you enjoy line dancing or have ever wanted to learn this is the spot! They have 2 free line dance lessons each night if you're dining in. Very friendly environment. You're not too young or too old, there are so many friendly line dancing and two step regulars here you'll make friends quickly. The staff deserves recognition too, my friends and I especially love the waitress Sheanna. She's on top of it every time even when it's busy and actually remembers the guests, learns their names and even remembers their previous orders and what they liked or didn't like. Instead of being superficial like most people in customer service she really puts in the effort to make drinking or dining at Buckle and Boots a more genuine experience that makes you want to keep coming and supporting the business. While you're there definitely try the fried pickles, spinach and artichoke dip and fried cheesecake.
Vanessa was a great waitress. Amazing bbq!! I had the ribs and my wife had the tri tip, both had an amazing mesquite flavor that is very unique and flavorful. The cornbread is moist and just crumbles in your mouth, one of the best cornbreads I have ever had! All around one of the best places for BBQ in all of the AV !! The outside patio is also a nice place with a nice view to the BLVD. They also have a nice stage with live country music🎶. 🥩 👍🏼
Boot scootin rootin tootin earth quakin booty shakin roof raisin Jesus praisin heck of a time. with a jumbo sized side of yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaawwwwww!!!!!!
The pizzasl was great, good cocktails and we love the atmosphere. Lots of good line dancers. We can't wait to learn more line dances. The teacher was great. I wish I remembered her name. She had red hair. Very pretty.
Just tried this place for the first time and as we Got there as an event was finishing up and had to wait a while to get seated. Eventually we get seated and the waitresses were so mean (except for the host) and then CHUCK the bartender saved the day literally he changed the whole experience for me and my husband. Took care of us and checked in to make sure we had a good time. Honestly would’ve given a 1 star review for the wait time and no one helping us once we sat down but thank you Chuck for making our experience so great.
Really delicious food, sweet waitresses and bar hosts with good drinks. There is a smoking patio outside near a hookah lounge and lots of neat little shops. The BLVD is a really newly remodeled area in Lancaster and there is so many great things to do. This bar has one of the very few clubs with a lot of room to dance with a DJ and sports bar in the Antelope Valley.
Went there on a Saturday and it was a pleasant experience. Nice environment and wasn't too crowded. There is a pay to enter and they scan and check your bag. The servers were friendly and responsive. The band was nice. They have some of their own drinks besides the normal and the food tasted good too!
Staff Nathalie was awesome it was our first time and everyone was super nice ribs were fall off the bone

Felt like slipping into a pair of comfortable.... Seriously, it has been decades since I have been into a country bar so this was a living memory of The Crazy Horse and Denim & Diamonds for me. It was like coming home. The food was really good. Not Crazy Horse amazing, but close. Try the pretzel even if you are not super hungry. Its worth it. The staff were pleasant, quick and answered questions about drinks honestly. My only complaint was the line dance instructor. She was too fast and too focused on her friends and regulars. A few of my group attempted to learn the dance and got lost, but the instructor was too busy with the front rows to check on the back. I suggest starting with an easy dance first as a warm up then jumping into the main lesson. Its the way it was done back in the stone age 90s. When we are in the area we plan to frequent this place, after we blow the dust off our lace up ropers, hats and other stuff that is now "vintage".
Really great food, our service was great and it was pajama party night so everyone was having fun, only complaint is they should lose the plastic frying pan serving dishes, the handles get in the way and they allow the food to cool off too fast. Highly recommend.
Ate here today.. looking for something delicious and tasty. Glad to say ..we were not disappointed. The food was 10 out of 10!!🎊 Very flavored and delicious..seasoned well..wings were perfect...along with our burger...and drinks were perfect..as well not watered down..me and my partner would definitely eat here again.
Tucked away in a corner next to the Don Sal building this is a hidden gem. Western theme decor, line dancing and great food. Gigantic Pretzel with cheese sauce and mustard for dipping, spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips for appetizers. I had a loaded baked potato with brisket, my son had a burger. Everything was delicious! Look forward to making a return visit to try one of the many other menu options.
Always the best vibes. Everything about the atmosphere is unique and the lighting brings it all together. Service is great and the community is awesome. If you like good food, and square dancing this is the spot!

Love this place it never disappoints! Food is great service amazing and the atmosphere is great. Line dancing lessons for us newbies is a plus for sure! A hidden gem in the av!
Good spot! Food is average and the table service can be extremely slow! It gets super busy. We have not had to pay an entry fee but they do check IDs at the door. If you reserve a table they want everyone in the party to be there before they will seat you. Reason I have them 4 stars is because around 9:30/10 they stop playing country music and it’s almost turns into a club. Which sucks as we all go to enjoy the country music and two step etc. I wish they did play more two stepping music.
Overall the experience was very good this too downfalls most of the seating is excellent but there are some seats with whiskey barrels you have to open your legs to fit around them and it's very tight. The food was good service was good the only answer was real good. They had entertainment and that was magnificent then plus it's in a hole in a wall so nobody knows this there they need to do better job on putting aside on the street or somewhere letting people know hey we're here otherwise I would have give them a six all way across I do recommend it to my family and friends. And it reminds me of old time place to get together with friends and do little dancing
Good food, big portions and the staff? Wow. Must come more often just to watch them walk away. Cocktails were refreshing, bourbon and whiskey based. Try the hibiscus and bourbon.

Went here with my fiancé and parents last night 2 times. We first went in to eat around 7 and the food was GREAT!!! They definitely have some good bbq. The customer service was also good, everyone was welcoming and our server was on her stuff! They had free line dancing which is awesome. And the place was really cute and vibey. My only issue is that they only played crappy, modern pop music during line dancing (I saw this in another review). We came back later around 10 to drink and dance, but the whole atmosphere/vibe changed. There was a bunch of people, they had a bunch of security in the front checking bags and people. Which I can appreciate the safety precautions, it was just a little weird lol (but security was cool). The whole place just felt like a regular club or bar with some country decor om the walls. It is definitely not a country bar. It's for city folk who think they know what country is 😂 I'd definitely go there again for happy hour or early-ish dinner, but probably wouldn't go back late at night. If they played WAY more country music even classic rock, it'd be a lot better.

I was denied re-entry a during my most recent visit despite having a valid wristband. When I asked why, security couldn't give me a straight answer. Eventually, they pivoted to accusing me of misconduct and harassment. This is a lie. If I had harassed anyone, I would have been removed immediately. Instead, I was allowed to finish my drink and leave on my own terms earlier that night. Staff only 'remembered' this alleged behavior two hours later when I returned to know why. It’s clear the staff fabricated a serious accusation to justify being unprofessional. Using 'harassment' as a fake excuse is a massive liability to both the customer and the business. I invite management to review the security footage from my entire visit. You will see a quiet customer and zero misconduct. I won’t support a business that throws around life-ruining labels because the staff is too unprofessional to do their jobs. (December 12-14) (December 28th)
