Amazing! Got two tortas de milanesa it was so delicious and HUGE! we barely finished it. Highly recommend.

This place is our "regular" place to go for Mexican food if we're not making it ourselves. The place isn't fancy and you'll likely listen to novellas on the TV or tejano music.

If you’re looking for REAL Mexican food, this is the spot. Excellent tacos, Tripas and Carnitas are on point. Staff is great! This is that hole in the wall you’ve been looking for!!

Delicious Mexican food in a local neighborhood. We got the carne asada burrito & a carnitas taco & birria taco. All were delicious! Yummy green & red salsa too! The staff is really friendly. Two thumbs up for this place!

The burritos and fajitas are also amazing. Combine all this with very sizable portions and unlimited chips and salsa, plus the smaller atmosphere, and this is definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.

Some of the most authentic, flavorful mexican food I have had in a long time-We had the menudo and it was 10/10 on portions, flavor and authenticity. The server was also very attentive and kind! We will be back soon!

Good experience spent like 42 dollars for a 6 tacos, some fresh menudo , and 2 horchatas money well spent. Tortillas hand made.

El taco plate is enough for me, I recommend tacos Al pastor, they have Salas Verde and roja, this plate is economic for anyone, and for the dessert they have ice cream... delicious!

I went in for lunch and did not know I'll be spending under 20 for quesabirria plate with no drink. This is by far the most expensive quesabirria I have ordered. The portion is normal but I don't agree with the price. Don't see myself going back again.

$3 tacos, and $5 for a regular cup of powdered agua fresca. The tacos are average at best.

We went this past Sunday and had the worst experience of my life at any restaurant. There was only just one other table in the restaurant and that was it. We repeatedly asked for refills on drinks and chips since there were 9 of us. The waitress would say ok and that she would return to do those refills. Well she never gave us the refills on drinks nor chips. And they had the audacity to charge us for those refills when they never even brought them in the first place. When we asked about the charges, the waitress said that’s how the system is. That’s understandable to a degree but they didn’t even bring us the refills we requested. Why would we get charged?? The owner was even worse. He was just sitting in a corner like a bump on a log. He was useless. We will not be coming back to this horrible place. If you want good tacos, go to Azteca! It’s very good!!

They charge for everything the chips are not complementary they charge and charge 50 cents more for tripa .check the prices and ask. These waitresses trying to over charge bec6 they think you ain't going to leave them tips and $5 for a drink I mean if it was a margarita and quesabiria plate is almost $20 no the food is better uf the road at aztecas

Stay away from Taqueria Torres #2 Restaurant off of 67 in Cedar Hill. I ordered Layla’s Platter. It comes with about six shrimp, a tiny portion of rice and tons of bell pepper, zucchini, and squash. The menu says it’s $11 but when they charge you, it comes up as $17.75! The plate is not worth that much money with six little shrimp! My husband ordered the 7 Mares soup with hardly any fish and it was listed as $15.50 and he was charged $20. And the excuse is that they are waiting on their new menus with the new updated prices but don’t feel they have to tell the customer. Other prices are the same, you don’t know what has gone up. So until they get their new menus, I would stay away. This is highway robbery! They are sorry. They also can never keep the same wait staff. I personally will NEVER go there again!

The chips are like ones you can buy in Walmart.. the booth benches are literally falling apart. My son got a sprite, he’s 4. She brought him an unopened can of sprite. No glass or anything. The food was bad. Dull and bland. Don’t be fooled by the high rating of this place. Also the waitress doesn’t speak English.. so that was rough. A lot of pointing and guessing. I liked the sweet tea.

This is not your usual Tex Mex enchildas. Spicy red ( juicy) sauce with chicken. Then i asked her and she says they have 5 different sauces . Nope not for me. Cheap yes, but you get what you paid for

The below was my review three months ago. I’m not sure if they have new management or what has changed but my husband and I come here often. We bought our usual the Queso Birra tacos, I got a plate of (3) tacos and my husband (5). I took a bite into the second taco and bit into something HARD, I thought I broke my tooth. I took it out of my mouth and it was bones. I went through the taco and there were more bones. This is a safety concern. I called to explain what happened and they told me that because I only had a taco and 3/4 of a taco left (out of 3) they couldn’t replace the tacos. I was taken aback because again this is a place we frequent. I questioned her and she then HUNG UP in my face. I drove back to the restaurant to get a refund, not only for the bones that were in my tacos but the unprofessional customer service on the phone. We’ve never been treated in this manner in the past, however there were 3 ladies there we’ve never seen before. I entered & asked for a refund as my initial request was for the replacement of my tacos which was denied. The lady lies and says the manager wasn’t there and then stated that the owner 🤯 (who she literally turned around and spoke to through the window) just told her she could only refund me for one taco. After going back and forth about the bones that were shown and the unprofessionalism, the owner/cook/manager (not really sure what his role was bc she lied multiple times) came from the back took a $20 out of his pocket and slammed it on the counter. Wow. What I initially asked for, wasn’t unreasonable. We will never come back here. Please be careful eating the Birra tacos especially if you have children. The fajita was horrible. I ate here because it has almost 5 stars so i thought food was really good but oh suprise the fajita was really bad, it seemed to be in the frigde for over a week, with bad fries 🍟

I called to place a large order. The woman who answered couldn’t speak English, so I asked for someone who could. She said, “no” , and giggled at me. I hung up and giggled as I spent my money elsewhere.

I was looking forward to Birra Tacos all day but tonight (12 Feb) I made an order for pick up and they forgot my 3 leches the first time so I had to turn around to pick it up. After that when I got home I realized that they forgot to give me tortillas with my order. As you see in the photo, this is not a birra taco. I called them 3 times and no one is answering the phone. That’s why they get 1 star.

Went in around 7:30pm yesterday. I NEVER write reviews, but this place gave me and my girlfriend food poisoning. We got chicken and steak tacos, and the birria tacos. They charge around 20$ for the birria tacos which is actually insane when the dipping soup just looked like dirty brown water and the tacos were disgusting so she ended up having some of my tacos which I’d rate a 3/10. Then this morning, we both had really bad stomach problems and let’s just say it was clear as day we had food poisoning once we got to the toilet. GO GET TACOS ELSE WHERE, this overpriced mediocre food is not worth food poisoning. Food poisoning is a clear sign that they don’t take proper food measures in the kitchen and will give anything to their customers. Bad establishment and bad chefs. There’s so many better tacos places than this and you don’t have to question if you’ll get food poisoning.

It felt very misleading, and when I tried to express why I thought that wasn’t right, there was no effort to understand or make it right. Charging for something you didn’t ask for, without warning, just leaves a bad impression. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you like surprise charges and poor customer service.

That being said, the food is decent now, for the past 5-6 times we’ve gone in we see different staff with less that okay customer service from 3-4 months ago. We will be taking our money and supporting other businesses that care about their customers.
