Opinions de Roman Pizza Latham
We were staying at a hotel in Latham while a family member was in the hospital and ordered the lasagna pie and 2 salads for dinner. You know it’s good when the man making the pizza says “excellent choice” when you pick up. The Caesar dressing was perfect and the pizza was amazing!
Cheese pizza and service was amazing . Definitely our new pizza place
Awesome pizza. Highly recommend the bacon pizza. So good must try.

very good pizza. very light and digestible. sauce not acid at all. jumbo wings very jumbo! they should only cook 2 min longer. i will definitely be back
Their pizza is great and the staff is always very friendly. Eating here is a weekly event that we look forward to.
I ordered Many things from their Large Menu, Everything was delicious, from the specialty dinners to the Subs.My favorite Is the jumbo cheese ravioli with meatballs, You can get 2 dinners out of it. To many things to list. Chicken Wings are really good also.A good Italian family owned place. love it!
Excellent pizza & Italian food, always fresh and homemade. Friendly atmosphere and service. Top notch family owned business.
Good Pizza at a good price. Owner and Employees always very pleasant. I used to go here as a kid and when i moved back to area it was nice to see it was still here.
I really loved the Pizza here. The owner brought the Pizza over and said, "Is this your first time here?" I said yes it is, and his reply was epic, "You will be back". He is 100% right, great Pizza, fair price and polite service.
Hard to believe NYC is famous for its pizza when a place like Roman exists upstate. I love the city, love a good number of slices I can get there, believe me, and I'm the pickiest eater you'll ever meet. But this place is a whole other world. Been heading here for about a decade, usually delivery, always on time and hot and ready. I'll die on the hill that the cheese pizza here is the best in the state, especially with crushed red pepper. The buffalo chicken pizza is EXTREMELY good, but best hot. The wings are hit or miss, yeah, but they're not Roman Wings!! Great service, great humor, fun place, you gotta check it out, dude.
I've been a patron of Roman for a number of years. This is consistently our goto pizza/sub spot. I'm not quite sure if they truly remember me each time, but the owner gives that look of familiarity and is always super friendly to my family. My wife rates their fries as the best in the area. Our favorites include the hot (meatball) and cold (eggplant) subs, lasagna dinner, pizzas and boneless wings. Haven't had a bad meal here, ever, in 5+ years. Thanks for being our place when we're not up for cooking!
Any time that we have ever ordered from this restaurant, the food has been top notch and the service excellent. On the very few occasions in which an error has been made, the owner has been quick to rectify it and happy to do so. I do not know where the negative reviews that people have posted are coming from; I'm not them, and I haven't had their experience. I do know that the food and prices, coupled with an owner who always thanks you personally for patronizing his business is a combination that cannot be beat and guarantees my return business.

It's Good! The quality of ingredients is very high and the place is always very clean. The people are very professional & the chefs recipes are just like Mama's. No complaints at all. I highly recommend RP and plan to go back again soon.
My favorite pizza place in Albany but too many times I forgot by they were closed on Sunday. Would love if they were closed Monday and Tuesday instead of Sunday and Monday
I was impressed with the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere of this pizza place. My Saturday afternoon visit was very enjoyable. The service was prompt, and the subs I ordered were outstanding. The meat and bread were of high quality. Though the prices are slightly above average, the excellent food and service made it a worthwhile experience.

Over priced and just ok pizza. Got charged $18 a piece for 8 cut cheese pizza and was told register doesn’t print receipts as I’m watching it print a receipt while paying. Pizza was for a birthday party and If I didn’t absolutely need it I would never have purchased any food from here. Maybe I was the one off but definitely not a good look or great experience. This was after trying to order two 12 cuts at 6pm on a Saturday night only to be told we ran out of 12 cuts only 8 cuts left. The whole experience felt off.

Zero point zero stars is more like it. Honor your word unfortunately can’t get by the ego to do so. The food went speeding downhill as fast as the price went speeding up hill.
Dishonest business practices. I ordered a margarita pizza by phone, the (person said 20 minutes). I went in to pick it up 25 minutes later and he still hadn't put it in the oven. He was just finishing putting it together as I was standing there and then he put it in the oven. So I had to wait. I asked "how much?" to the boy at the counter and he asked his dad how much? His dad said $27. I paid, then wondered how much is the pizza that it came to $27 for an 8 cut pie. I asked for a menu and the boy got one for me. The menu said $23.05 for the pizza I ordered. I asked why I was charged $27 if the the pizza was $23.05. The boy said that is the price with tax. I said tax does not add up to $27. I said maybe at most it would be $25. The boy then said you need to talk to my dad since he is the one that said it cost $27. Waited for his dad to come over but he just ignored me, then I asked again about the pricing and the boy asked his dad again to come over. The dad said that was the price with tax, so I asked how much is tax? He said 8.25%. I said if tax is 8.25 then my total would be $24.95. The dad then says to me the price on the menu is not correct. He proceeds to say he has been in business for over 20 years and he isn't trying to rip anyone off. I said I just want to know what price I should be paying when I order something. If the menu isn't right how will I know. He then says, "Under the current administration I have to keep raising my prices." Then opens the register and gives me one dollar back. (He is blaming his random pricing on the government. Every business shows what price they charge for things. What does the government have to do with informing your customers what price to charge?) He then says I need to talk with the owner about the prices. (I know he is the owner. Another dishonest comment. He said earlier "he" has been in business for over 20 years. Obviously he is the owner.) He then tells his son that he charged me the wrong price. I still was never told what the price was so that I could calculate the total being $26 (after the $1 back) Final verdict: randomly over charging and dishonesty equals no repeat business from me and making sure I warn others. Things are getting expensive enough, do we have to deal with random overcharging too!
I ordered from here and they took payment before telling me a total - I canceled out my order due to the fees and have yet to be refunded. When I called the store I was told to not call back. THIS IS HOW THEY RUN A BUSINESS?! INSANITY! Now I’m out $67 and the store will not answer my calls. UNACCEPTABLE- BEWARE!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PIZZA SHOP THEY WILL ROB YOU!
I came in just before closing to order a pizza and salads. The most expensive pizza on the menu was $20. Because I got half Hawaiian and half pepperoni/onion, I was charged by the topping ($27). The salads were $8.45 on the menu and I was charged $12.45. In total $63 for a $40 meal. and when I asked about the charges, the manager said “prices were subject to change!” Like in the 2minutes while I placed my order from a menu with printed prices??? I have no problem paying extra during difficult times, but this seems shady, and the manger was rude when I asked if the bill was correct. Too bad we won’t be back, the food was good and I like to support local businesses.
