On my day off I was trying to order some Chinese China 1 in cohoes hung up the phone and would not answer again so I tried another Chinese place called new panda they answered very friendly and ask what I would like to order I gave them my complete order asked if they could bring change and that was OK they made me happy that I chose to still order Chinese food on a day where one business let me down

Tried NP when our regular place was closed, it’s now our “go to” for the best Chinese takeout in Latham. Good service, good food!

We were on the road and chose New Panda randomly. Ordered over the phone and they double checked the accuracy of the order before we hung up. Food was ready in 15-20 minutes. Good, tasty pork egg rolls, excellent boneless ribs with NO fatty parts, excellent beef and mushrooms with LOTS of mushrooms and, finally, chicken with cashews that my husband liked but didn't rave about. Based on this experience, we'd go back!

My husband just loves this quick Chinese food location. Don't get me wrong, I love most of their food too but I find their chicken and beef with broccoli dishes have "greasy" meat. It doesn't always agree with me. However, I now order their steamed options (chicken and broccoli) and just LOVE it. Their Wonton Soup is one of the best in the area - the broth tastes like chicken broth and not hot water. We both LOVE the pork eggrolls. As with any "fast" Chinese location the cleanliness comes into question. It looks/smells like the rest. The kitchen is clean. Sometimes the staff is pushy (language barrier maybe).

New Panda has been my go-to for Chinese food for over 20 years. And I don't think that'll be changing anytime soon. Their prices have increased a bit over the past few years. But their quality hasn't fallen one bit.

Love Chinese food, but didn't love this. Quality was not there.

Wasn't here. But I did by a sub at SUBWAY next door that was tasty.

Everything was delicious from New Panda one of the dishes I ordered was so uptight vegetables or steamed vegetables but all I really got was a big bowl of broccoli maybe a little carrot slice and one little mushroom I'm not a big fan of just broccoli

I order general tso's lunch special... with extra sauce. There was no extra sauce, and it looked like they put water in it. the Chicken was over cooked, the rice was bland and colorless. The whole dish tasted bad!! and to top it off, the fortune cookie was old, stale, and didnt even have a fortune in it.... Overall a very poor example of food, and I would not recommend it to a friend, and will not go back

Food was just ok, didn't have any distinct flavor. Portion size definitely not worth the price point and customer service needs improvement.

This is the most 3 star Chinese food I’ve had in quite some time. Completely edible. And technically the correct dish. That’s it. Had to add salt—I never add salt to anything. Anyway, there you have it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would...ordered our food, picked it up and was missing my whole meal and crab ragoons...then the restaurant wants to call and harass me saying i never picked up my food...they called about 5 times...and to top it off food wasnt that great, will never order from here again.

The worst chinese food in United States ever, I have eaten chinese food in many state in my life never experienced such pathetic chicken fried rice , chicken rice soup , eggroll , basically I dumped it in the trash and dumped $13.00 with it .

ordered sesame chicken and genderal tso and both were under cooked, bit into the chicken and it was pink.. im currently pregnant and called and complained and they tried offering me more food.. told them i didn’t want more uncooked chicken, asked for a refund and they said they’d call me back later because there too busy

Beef sticks tasted how nail polish smells, and lingered, I couldn't even down the meat. Had to wipe my tongue off with a paper towel.

I found a meal worm in my rice after taking three bites of my dinner. My family immediately lost their appetites and no one wanted their food. I called right away to make them aware. I was willing to bring all the food back and show them. They acted like they didn't understand what I was saying. When I asked to speak to someone who understands English I was told someone would call back and they hung up. Of course I didn't get a call.

Ordered with some coworkers today for lunch. Upon opening my broccoli with garlic sauce after eating about 3 stalks of broccoli found a worm floating around in the sauce. Fighting the urge to vomit. Called and requested a full refund of the full order because now the entire office refused to eat their food bc of the worm. Thankfully they didn’t give an issue about the refund but they requested that I not throw the food away but save it and they came and picked it up. Seems a little sketchy for them to want to take the food back and not just throw it away. Wish it would let me post a picture proving the worm.

One Star is too many! It's the worst! I just ordered 3 dinners to go and they screwed all of them up. One was cold one had the wrong food item and the other had burnt ingredients and the lid was left off allowing it to spill all over the bag.! Urgggg I called to speak to the manager and explained my disappointment. I got a n "Uh " reply. No apology no discout no refund he could care less. So that explains why the workers could careless too. Don't throw your money away like I did:-/

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for lunch today and placed a to-go order. As I'm sitting at the tables in front waiting for the food, I'm watching an employee in the back chopping meat and flinging it into a container that was sitting on a 5 gallon bucket next to the counter. After a few minutes, he over shot the container and 3-4 pieces of raw meat fell onto the floor. He finished chopping the piece that he was working on, then reached down with his bare hands, picked the pieces up off the floor and tossed them into the container with the other meat as if nothing happened. He then grabbed another piece of meat and kept chopping as if business as usual. I brought it to the owners attention but with the language barrier I'm not quite sure they understood me. I am never one that leaves reviews like this, but now I feel responsible to say something because of the risk to public health. I told them that I no longer wanted the food that I ordered and I walked out with a total lack of appetite.

DONT ORDER OVER THE APP GIVEN Would literally give it less stars if I could. I ordered on the app that they were set up to go through, paid and waited for my food. Way too much time passed by, so I had my boyfriend call and check on everything and they said they didn’t have an address for the order, my boyfriend gave it to them, and everything was on the way. Man shows up and wants money. I said I paid over the app, showed him the email confirming that I paid and everything and he curses at me and says to call. The restaurant was closed so no one was answering. Man curses some more and gives me his phone to talk to some women screaming at me saying I didn’t pay and my boyfriend placed the order when he called. This couldn’t be true because how would they have even knew what I ordered without having gotten the order through the app as he didn’t say what it was over the phone. Long story short, very rude, no dinner for us, and I paid money for nothing, including a $4 tip... wrote to the app and am going to speak to the manager of the restaurant tomorrow. My husband Ordered Beef with peppers and onions… in his dish he had some kind of skin and it was not Beef! I don’t believe it was Chicken as it was thick.. That was the end of our food, In the Trash waste of 40.00 We went back after it reopened mistake! I will keep going to Troy.

My husband Ordered from you today 1/23/2021 he got his general tso’s chicken and he got me chicken and broccoli. The chicken was nasty u can’t even chew it . What was it cat or dog . My cat won’t even eat the chicken so there’s something wrong there with ur food .

I cancelled a delivery order. They claimed I didn't have a minimum order requirement. When I told them I did meet the minimum order amount and asked how much the order would be they added a delivery charge. Their menu does not indicate that there is a delivery charge. WATCH OUT for up charges.

Every thing tasted like month old oil completely unedible 😡🙂 Broccoli in garlic sauce tasted like sour seafood, does this place ever clean anything before they cook it. 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮. DOOO NOT WASTE UR MONEY AND RISK FOOD POISONING. Deff will be disputing this charge on my card plus the lady was super rude

Then a Crab Rangoon which was $4.80. She said she was going to fix it for me the next time. That was on January 8th. The owner they would put in extra beef. Today January 29th i got the same dish with a small Crab Rangoon $4.80, hot and spicy beef for $12.90, and large Wonton soup $5.95. She said I have to charge you extra for the brown rice which is suppose to come with it and does not say on the menu or website that it’s only white. It says (W. Rice). Then she tries to say things are expensive. No it isn’t you are just being a slime ball that is trying to cut back on the food you are putting out, buying more, and putting less in the dish so you can save money. Not giving me the food I pay for in the dish. So she started smiling and laughing at the cook because she was suppose to make it right today then threw extra charges for the rice and the beef she was suppose to fix today. Wonder why it struggling to keep three stars.

Then when I made the order I saod extra duck sauce pretty ease and she sent me three packets. Then the noodles were dark and alot thicker the usual almost like a waterlog pasta.. Not. To mention it was supposed to be vegetable low mein but it had only broccoli and mushrooms like what the hell.. Never ordering there again

The phone was passed around, and when we asked if they wanted our business or not, I was hung up on. Rude.
