Drove thru so Atmosphere not applicable.lol Wednesdays rule! 5 dollar pizza. I love the supreme! That fresh baked sourdough crust is hard to beat ! Aiden rocks at the drive thru!! Y'all keep that boy he is good ! Even when I have a bunch of kids yelling out their order, Aiden is patient and kind as well as ACCURATE! Never a let down . Nice job Philip
I recently ordered Schlotzsky’s through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, my son’s kids pizza was missing from the delivery. When I called the driver, he basically told me “too bad” and that there was nothing he could do because the restaurant didn’t give it to him. I was so irritated. I decided to call Schlotzsky’s directly to see if anything could be done. I wish I had caught the name of the man I spoke with, but he was incredibly polite, apologetic, and understanding. Without hesitation, he offered to bring my son his missing pizza, even though I live about 15 minutes away! He also included a free Cinnabon for my son, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. That kind of customer service really stands out and meant a lot to me. While I may not use Uber Eats for my orders anymore, I will absolutely continue supporting Schlotzsky’s directly whenever I’m in town.
Really enjoyed our visit, tried to order on the app and was struggling, came inside and the guy at the counter was super friendly & walked me through it. Came in around noon, received our order within 6 minutes of sitting down, and the restaurant was almost full. The sandwiches were thick and full of fresh meat and veggies! It had been almost a year since we visited a Schlotsky's, and it definitely hit the spot! We ordered the turkey Avocado & turkey bacon club both mediums. We agreed we totally could've done smalls! Super friendly & great customer service! A lady came in right after us to pick up a large order for a church, and there was several that had came in as a rather larger group & you never would've known. The cashier got everyone taken care of in a super timely manner and with a smile!
I called into place a pick up order yesterday late morning 10:55 AM. The man that took the phone call I believe his name was Phillip was very polite very courteous however he had to put me on hold for just over five minutes because someone else that worked with him Commanded his attention over a customer that being myself. I stayed on hold long enough for him to come back on the line and Again, he was very Courteous and apologetic. We ordered three Large sandwiches the original, beef smoky cheesy and a roast beef sandwich. It was hands-down the best Schlotzsky’s sandwiches we have ever had over the past 15 years. So quality control and food production deserves a five star rating. Having to put Customers on hold for over five minutes is not acceptable. This is actually the third time that being placed on hold was longer than it should be. Almost lost us as a customer but the food QUALITY and Phillips professional attitude saved the day!
I got a Broccoli and cheese soup today and I haven’t been there in over a year because I got sick of going and ordering broccoli and cheese soup and it Having a burnt taste. The last time I went, the manager said the heat should be turned down once it gets hot in the mornings. But somebody forgot to turn it down, so I’m assuming they still have the problem of employees not turning their soup down. It’s the same way with the potato soup. I hate that because I really like Schlotzsky’s. I tried to call and address the problem with just them, but they don’t answer their phone. The soup that I’m going to show in the picture should not be a burnt orange by the way. Just frustrating. I’m not gonna eat burnt taste broccoli and cheese soup. It’s gross.
They didn't have part of our order but ask if the substitute would be okay. They foglrgot our chips but quickly took care of it when I ask. I ordered potato soup but received broccoli & cheese.
I only ordered 1 sandwich. I kindly asked 2 times to make sure there’s no tomatoes. The employee at the drive thru, confirmed twice, no tomatoes. I got a lot of tomatoes. I had to pull the sandwich apart, dig the tomatoes, seeds and fiber globs out of the sandwich. When you are willing to pay nearly 20 dollars for one combo, please, please listen to simple request, especially when it’s reiterated multiple times for verification.
Haven't had the greatest experiences here, but today was a whopper... Had to wait 5 minutes to get their attention in the kitchen. While waiting a gigantic roach crawled across the floor in front of the soda machine and main lobby. Of course I smashed it. Let them know, but didn't seem too overly concerned. The tables are rarely cleaned. I usually end up wiping one for myself so my wife and I can sit. I truly Love Schlotzskys food but y'all really testing my patience.
I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich with provolone cheese along with iced tea. It was over $17 for a sandwich which is kind of pricey. I miss the different choices of bread that they used to have especially the dark rye which was excellent. The sandwich was good as was the tea. I went through the drive thru. I was happy that it was open during the ice storm since I was in Tyler for training. The sugar cookies are good?
I went in to order a salad and sandwich after a busy day at work to go. The staff wasn't very friendly, they were preoccupied. The soda machine didn't have very many options, they were out. The inside was dirty, there were only 3 tables occupied with 2 people at each table. It took forever to get my order, then it came out wrong. I get home and my salt had no avocado. Very disappointed in the overall experience. I hope it improves or I won't go back.
Be sure to check your bag before leaving! They did not put lettuce on my sandwich as I asked, and they forgot to put the chips in my bag that I ordered. I am just passing through on a long road trip so I will not be able to go back and ask for the chips. I am thankful they have a gluten free option however it is just so-so. I am thankful they were accommodating of my husband's dairy intolerance by making a pizza without cheese. The man who took my order was really nice. The floor has a huge puddle on it from the rain with no wet floor sign, so I'm hoping no one slips.
Manager Philip Ruined Our First Experience Edited: “The owner reached out to my husband directly and was very kind. He apologized sincerely and offered to make it right by compensating the order. It must be incredibly difficult for business owners to have to deal with employees who, instead of providing good service, end up damaging the reputation of a business that has taken so much time, effort, and sacrifice to build.” : I am not usually a sandwich person, but I decided to give this location a chance because I purchased a coupon booklet that local students were selling in the Lindale area. One of the coupons was for the Schlotzsky’s in Lindale, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to try it for the first time. Since I had never ordered there before, I expected I might need a moment to look at the menu. When I pulled up to the drive-thru, the man taking my order sounded very rushed and impatient. He did not offer size options, did not ask if I wanted fries or a drink, and did not give me the opportunity to add anything else. I simply said “Original sandwich,” and he immediately gave me the total without clarifying the size. It felt abrupt and uncomfortable, like I was being cut off. When I reached the window and presented the coupon, I was told it was not valid because the sandwich was medium instead of small. I explained that I had never been asked what size I wanted. The order had been taken so quickly that I was not given the chance to specify. I was told it would not be accepted and, if I wanted to reorder, I had to go inside. Inside, a young employee kindly took my order and corrected it. Everything seemed fine at that point. However, after I delivered the food to my husband and son who were working nearby, they called to tell me the order was incorrect. Since I did not have time to return, they went back themselves to resolve it. Unfortunately, the manager on duty, Philip, was the same person who had taken my original drive-thru order. He was treated very rudely. My husband was told that a “ weird lady” had ordered food and left it, referring to me. There was no explanation given. Then Philip took the sandwiches from the countertop, brought them back inside, and told him to leave or he would call the police. This was completely unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. The entire situation escalated because of poor communication and a rushed attitude from the beginning. Businesses participate in coupon programs to attract new customers and encourage repeat visits. Unfortunately, this experience did the opposite. Instead of gaining a returning customer, this interaction ensured that I will not be coming back. Very disappointing experience :(
My family was late getting home and decided to grab Schlotzsky's on the way home. My first issue came with the app, which would not honor my bogo coupon. I decided to go ahead and pay full price as we were tired and hungry. When I got to the store I went inside to pick up and asked the man at the counter if he could explain why my coupon was not honored. He said he usually cooks and wasn't familiar with the register and so couldn't help me. After a few minutes that same man brought me a bag and told me to have a good night. I left. I did not check my order until I got all the way home and found that one of my sandwiches did not make it into the bag. What a disappointment! I called the store and the man who answers said oh yes, Your sandwich is here on the warmer but we'd be happy to make you a fresh one when you come back. I explained that I was not willing to drive the 15 minutes across town and would just appreciate a refund, and he explained that he could not offer a refund. There was truly nothing he could do to help, while I sat at home with no meal, watching my family eat. Honestly, such poor service is shameful. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.
First we waited an extensive amount of time to get the food, 2 sandwiches and a lemonade. Get home to find lettuce and tomato on my sandwich, I can't have tomato and my receipt says No lettuce or tomato yet there was more of that than meat on the sandwich. My hubby said his bread of stale, and his sandwich did not taste fresh which mine didn't look great either. Also when I called and spoke to who I was told was the manager they simply said sorry and they have no refund policy after explaining they made it impossible for me to even eat my $14 sandwich and I wasn't asking for a refund of the entire $36, just for the sandwich I literally cannot eat. Wish I could leave zero stars best to spend what little extra money people have nowadays elsewhere with a company that cares about freshness in their food and cares about their customers.
Went here after working all day to get some food and not have to cook. The staff was not bad but definitely not engaging. Once we got home the $14 turkey sandwich my wife ordered without tomato and lettuce was piled with both tomatoes and lettuce, the bread on both sandwiches tasted stale, and the rest of the sandwich did not have much flavor to it. Definitely would not recommend this food for the price or experience and it is insane to spend nearly $40 for 2 sandwiches and not even get fresh ingredients or food made properly to order.
