Our Town Pizzeria and Deli

WOW! The pizza crust is absolutely the best we have ever had - and that includes Chicago and New York Pizzas!! There are lots of options for meat lovers and vegetarians. Three people in our party loved the combo pizza and I loved the vegetarian. All customizable. Art, the owner, is fantastic - he is all about customer satisfaction AND IT SHOWS! Well done!!! As of December 2025 he is working on a new website so do not be discouraged if the link does not work right. Just go and try the pizzas! The best in Gridley, CA! In talking with Art one in our party made suggestions about making the sauce a little spicier. I loved Art's answer - "Yes I can BUT I found one piece of red pepper for a child is too much. We have the jar on every table to season to suit everyone's palate." What a great response and it shows how much he takes all his customers into consideration - old and young alike! Some cosmetic work could be done but that does not impact the food!!

I have a son who has Celiac disease, and in our small town, this is the only place we can order from. We order a cauliflower crust pizza and it’s only possible because they use a different prep area, with clean tools, and gloves. We haven’t had any issues with cross contamination and they have been a great option for us locally! And their pizza is super delicious! Thank you Our Town!!!

There was only 1 person working and a few people in line so the food took awhile but it was absolutely worth the wait. The feta cheese topping was exceptionally good and the garlic knots were fantastic. Definitely recommend 👍

I ordered pizza from this place when I hosted my toddler's birthday party next door at the arcade. The ordering process was simple; I called ahead and specified the time I needed the food ready. The arcade owner picked up the food and set it up for us. I've only sampled the pizza so far, but it was delicious. I'm eager to return and try more of their menu items.

The Staff and owners are absolutely a delight to speak with. Such AMAZING and courteous people. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The calzone was so big me and 2 people shared it. Definitely get your money's worth in food. Garlic knots covered in real garlic 🧄 I absolutely LOVED THAT!

It's always the little hole in the wall places that have the best food. And it is no more true than at Our Town. I'm not certain but I think the Alfredo sauce was house made. The calzone was huge and expertly baked with fresh toppings inside. The two ladies who were working on Saturday the 9th were polite and accommodating. We will absolutely go back the next time we are in town.

The whole place is actually pretty nice it was my first time there so i really had no idea what to expect.......the pizza was really good, the buffet was small just the pizza and salad and some bread kind of like round table? Overall better quality though than round table. They had some kind of white sauce chicken pizza and then a combo pizza, not sure if that's every time or if it gets switched out. The salad bar had some good selection of veggies so i loaded up on those. Overall it was really nice and the price was great for a group.

Delicious pizza! Delicious salads. And the fried ravioli were amazing! Try their sundaes for dessert. So many great choices of yumminess. I can't wait to come again and try their deli. I highly recommend you give Our Town Pizza a try! A big plus is that the owner is a fantastic guy! ❤️

I highly recommend, they don't skimp on the cheese or toppings. The pizza is big & filling! 2 pieces vs. 4 at other places to get full. I love the fried ravioli, calzones & 17.99 pepperoni or cheese pizza deal ❤️ Sandwiches are next on my list to try but they also have a pastrami pizza 😲

What a great yummy pizza we had and the calzone was delicious. The calzone was big enough for two people. The zucchini was crunchy on the outside, and good and warm in the inside. The only thing that I would recommend is have them tell you what’s on the pizza before you have them make it. They’ve added items on the pizzas that are not on the menu, especially if you have food allergies. (The Spartan they’ve added pepperchinis to it)

WOW! one of the best pizzas I've ever had! (chicken, bacon, artichoke w/white sauce). I have found my little "slice" of heaven.. pun intended.😂. and the Turkey bacon avocado sandwich on jalapeño cheese bread.. the bread is so soft its like it wasent even there .awsome atmosphere with an old school arcade right next door😳 whaaaaat! will definitely return.

Possibly the BEST pizza we have ever had! Thankful to have such a one of a kind pizza right here in downtown Gridley. Incredible combination of flavors on both the Buffalo Chicken and The Big Kahuna. We will be back soon!

Hands down the BEST pizza in the entire area. Top notch ingredients at a much more reasonable price than the other places in town. The owners have really done a excellent job bringing back some nostalgic feel to the downtown Gridley area. A much needed face-lift. Can't wait to try out the deli!!! Keep up the solid work OTP!!!

Hopefully, stopping by late and near closing time was just a bad choice. Hopefully, the visits the cook made between the oven and the bar across the street during the baking played a part and she's now on the wagon. Maybe the sandwiches are better... I literally broke a tooth on my first bite in to the pizza. I can't leave my name for obvious reasons and please don't blame every guy you see walking around Gridley with a missing front tooth. It's not their fault. I really do wish Our Town well and hope this critique results in their taking every pizza seriously. Even the last one of the night.

Myself, my wife and friends went there for the first time . I wanted to ordered a gluten free pizza, I noticed there normal butcher block pizza was $13. When I asked for the gluten free they told me it would be $14 plus $1.50 for each topping. What's the difference that would bring the price up to around $19 for the same pizza. I would differently not recommend this place to anyone.

I looked at the menu on the left side of the front wall and it said small pizza 12 bucks so I decided to order one that would be one topping. He brings me up at considerably over $15. I asked him about it and said hey California law requires that the posted price is the going price. You told me oh well that belonged to the old management. I was playing at the arcade next door and the owner of the arcade is able to walk through the side door right in there the arcade owner told me that it had changed ownership a year and a half ago. I should turn them in and do us all a favor I don't really care how good their food is it's all important that either a place displays the proper price or do a lot of them do don't display anything at all but it's against the law to be displaying and misleading and also what kind of society would we have if everybody decided to do that. After complaining I wasn't interested in somebody spitting in my food or something else so I did not order but this was enough of an experience to leave a respectfully accurate opinion of my experience. For the record that can actually be $1,000 fine and some time in jail.
