A beautiful.birthday with friends and family from start to finish. Food 10 out of 10 great choices, hot and tasty, we did not have to wait and we all served at the same time. Tables and chair comfortable and designed for a masquerade party and created the atsmosphere for the event. Great venue for pictures and a night of fun, laughter and a unforgettable experience, thank you so much Masood and staff for a birthday to be treasured forever.

Really good food, friendly and good service, and the waiter had great sense of humor. There was an incident with a wine glass, but it was solved so smoothe, that it did not take away anything from the total experience, which was excellent. We left happy and feeling well taken care of.

Hidden Gem! This is now the second time l’ve been here and a lovely time was had by all. The first time for a 60th birthday celebration. The second time for a baby reveal. We had the set menu £45.00 which was value for money for what we had. The meal on both occasions was absolutely amazing. The staff were accommodating and helpful especially the manager Mosue and thank you again and rest assure l will most certainly be back.

I walk every day past this Thames path and by this lovely restaurant! I never knew it was the restaurant of a hotel, Rafayel Hotel! This Sunday though I decided to stop by and check its breakfast And was pleasantly surprised, lovely buffet, nice omelette, great atmosphere, friendly staff She but the very best is its location, by the Thames, nearly all tables have a great view! I was a walk-in breakfast client, and have a wonderful experience Highly recommend 👍😄 defo will be back again ❤️💕

Banyan on the Thames is an amazing place to visit and dine! The view of the river and sunset is truly remarkable. They have amazing service and really flavourful dishes. We had a range of food, from seafood to chicken. Great spices! Highly recommend it if you love good food and enjoy patio & beautiful view of the river!

Exelent food and service. Very friendly and professional service. The place is also good for venues for about 100 people. Decoration probably is not the best but you will make it your place after you start to enjoy all the good things.

Great location with Thames view and sunset scenery over the River. The food is very tasty with a good variety to cater for any preferences. Total bill will come as a pleasant surprise because the prices are very affordable. Highly recommend to stop for there for lunch, dinner or cocktails.

Went here for my mums 50th, they were amazing. It was a great atmosphere and the food was amazing. Everyone had such a great time. They were so helpful while I was setting the decorations up. Absolutely lovely staff.

The food in this place 😋 👌 😍 🙌 😌 😋 👌 is delicious, tasty, fresh and presentation is 10/10 stars. Try the pasta and mushroom and also the prawns with the sweet chilli sauce the waiter also gave me 2 different dips as I couldn't decide no extra charge. 😋

Every time I go to Banyan on the Thames, my moments are magical. The service, food, drinks, atmosphere, and view of the River Thames are wonderful. Through Vanderli Bello I held business meetings, my daughter's 15th birthday party and now whenever we need to meet up we go there.

I was truly overwhelmed by the level of service provided by the team on the day of my son's funeral reception. They helped ease the sadness of the occasion and maintained a light atmosphere, which allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the meal. Before meeting with Masood, the Events Manager, I had several concerns and worries. However, all of that changed when we sat down to discuss the details. He reassured us with confidence and honesty, offering excellent suggestions based on his extensive experience. That support was precisely what we needed during this time of grief. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The team went above and beyond, and the atmosphere and view are fantastic. I will return here for all my future events. Thank you so much, Masood and the team; I truly appreciate all the care and personal touches you provided for my son’s funeral reception .

It was great to come back for the second time. Had an amazing experience last time I was here for a celebration. So I was looking forward to coming back again since I was so impressed by the service and food. This time was no different, the staff were friendly, attentive and exceptional. The food was delicious and the dessert was divine. Can’t wait for the next visit.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I had my 30th birthday dinner here and the service, setting, food and location are fantastic! The staff are very polite and friendly and there are so many lovely places for photo ops with beautiful backgrounds all around and the river right outside! Highly recommend and would go again!

I had such an amazing birthday party at banyan on thames restaurant. I couldnt have asked for a better location. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is so tasty. All my friends enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Can't wait to celebrate there again.

Love staying at the Hotel Rafayel , and the hotel restaurant Banyan on the Thames is such a nice meeting place . It's a lovely location and great food especially breakfast ! Staff couldn't do enough to ensure the Miss London event, which I organised went well . Lovely walks along the Thames great to see the evening beautiful sunset . All this and it's the UKs first Eco hotel ! I will definately be back love this place .

We were walkibg along the Thames and found this cute restaurant with amazing views! My child with allergies was able to find an easy thing to eat and my husband and I were able to get some sandwiches with crispy fries.

Had an amazing afternoon tea here. The restaurant is beautiful! A real Instagram-able place overlooking the Thames. Food was lovely and included a glass of fizz and a coffee after. And lastly the staff are super attentive and very accommodating. I’m a stickler for service and I honestly thought they were amazing. Defo recommend.

Fantastic Restaurant right on the Thames Embankment with lovely views of of the river. Great food and all types of drinks and really friendly and helpful staff!

They had two big parties celebrating special birthdays. Service was on point. Food was cooked well and tasty. Drinks were on point. Restaurant also provided Bluetooth speakers for each party to play music at decent levels. Great evening will definitely be back again!!

Masood and Adam made our visit so special. No request was too much, they made sure we had everything we needed. We were there for a 60th birthday and it was lovely, we will definitely be back!

We recently held the wake for our Mothers funeral here. Masood and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating and a lovely (but sad) time was had by all. Thankyou for making such a sad occasion a truly memorable and special one.

Lovely , relaxing stay, had a sweedish massage that was amazing, hot tub in the room was just elite , breakfast had alot od choices to choose from would definitely stay again!

We had the most amazing experience at Banyan on the Thames for our gender reveal. We hosted over 60 people and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was incredible and received so many compliments from our guests, and the service was outstanding throughout the entire event. The staff were attentive, organised, and made the whole day feel effortless for us. It was such a special celebration and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Highly recommended!

Great place to eat for an event. I had my daughters diner here and the food is amazing. We all loved it! I would definitely go back even on my own it was that great. Great prices too. Food only £45 and then drinks at the bar. I definitely spent happily.

Nice place right by the river. Food was excellent. I had the salmon with extra fresh veg instead of potatoes. My wife had two starters the calamari and prawns in garlic sauce, she said they were both excellent. Knocked one star off because it felt a bit bleak and empty due to lack of customers. Prices were very reasonable and the service was very good too.

Lovely place, great views of River Thames. Some polite staff and some not very welcoming to customers. Had a Groupon voucher for a 3 course meal there. Food was lovely. If you smoke they offer a cigar after your diner. Which my husband enjoyed. Celebrated our 17th year Anniversary there. We enjoyed it and would return .

I had my 50th Birthday here. Great food and service. All meals were served on time and to great standards. Hotel rooms were also very clean and comfortable. Only downfall was a bit disappointing was breakfast. Not much options for vegans. Apart from that, myself and all my guest had an amazing time. Thank you Masood for all your help and support with planning. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel great views.

What a great evening celebrating with family. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and well furbished. On our arrival, the table had been set up beautifully and all orders (including drinks) were timely and well presented. On the set menu there was a dish for everybody, and if not, alternative options were provided. Masood showed initiative and great hospitality throughout our entire booking.

Visited this place for the first time for a birthday dinner. As it was a large group, we had to pre-order, the set menu was ok but the courses didn't quite compliment each other. Cocktails were a bit pricey but tasty and the food wasn't awful. Their service was good but that's probably because they were expecting us. It was difficult to find parking close by as they have very limited parking facilities, so would recommend checking where you can park before you go. Lastly, I must say the view of the river outside the restaurant was beautiful and makes a great place for a nice evening drink by the river.

Food was ok, just the dishes didn't respect the ingredients listed on the menu. I asked for lotus cheesecake with chocolate & strawberry sauce, got the Ferrero one with caramel and strawberry topping. And what's with the avocado in Cesar salad? It wasn't even mentioned in the menu and the recipe doesn't include avocado. I didn't complain to the staff as the food tasted good and the service was nice. But the fact that the restaurant doesn't respect the menu and client's order was really frustrating, it gave the sensation that you're serving what you have left in your fridge.

We’re staying at the attached hotel for a week which is very nice. Ate here the first night and it was okay. Service was not very good. Then I went to have breakfast this morning and the place had no patrons and I was the sole customer. They had about four people working, I sat myself and sat there for fifteen minutes while the staff walked around and just talked to each other while completely ignoring me. Extremely ignorant staff.

As a guest and family photographer, I often attend and capture special events, but my experience here was disappointing. We celebrated a 60th birthday, and the service was far below expectations. The staff lacked professionalism and courtesy, leaving guests feeling undervalued and disrespected. The atmosphere also failed to create the warm and welcoming vibe you’d expect for such a special occasion. It’s unfortunate when a venue doesn’t match the importance of the events it hosts. I wouldn’t recommend this location for family celebrations or any special gatherings.
