We received great service from the team here. It's much better than Dishoom, and offers better value for money at a lower price point. The aubergine starter is delicious. My wife loved her chicken tikka cheese naan. The chicken and lamb dishes are Halal. It's a peaceful restaurant. Easy to hold conversation with friends.
I had the most wonderful time at Cinnamon Bazaar Covent Garden last week! I was staying in the neighborhood and it was recommended to us by the hotel staff. My mother and I arrived at around 7:15pm and it was lively and many tables already full! We didn’t have a reservation but that was no problem, they sat us right away. The service was impeccable! Everyone was SO kind, so helpful, and their recommendations were fantastic. We ordered multiple dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. I didn’t recognize any of the dishes so I did ask for help and their suggestions were always great! I can’t recommend this place enough. When I’m back in London, I will undoubtedly visit. Everything about it was great. Zero complaints!!
This is not tradirional Indian food. It is an interpretation of Indian cuisine. The food is delicious, rich on flavour and all spices and herbs are balanced perfectly. Deserts we also a great surprise. The personnel was nice, friendly and very good with our baby.
Situated in the Heart of London, halfway between Covent Gardens and the Strand, Cinnamon Bazaar is truly an Oasis of Light, and air and spectacular food- served by amazing staff. It is a very welcome respit to the hustle and bustle of the city just a few streets away. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted by wonderfully courteous staff, promptly seated, and were soon deciding on what delicious entrees we would sample. A nearby couple assured us that everything is amazing, and it certainly was. From the delicious drinks to the appetizers and main dishes, all of the food was wonderfully flavorful and well balanced, with tastes and seasoning that was finely nuanced in each dish that we tried. From The Chai, to the Naan, the pork belly and shrimp curry, the flavors were absolutely astounding. We will most definitely be back upon our return to London- in the Interim we thankfully have the opportunity to try Cinnamon Bazaar's recipes in their cookbooks - Available at the Restaurant. Be sure to find them , on Maiden Lane !!!
We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while exploring London, and it turned out to be the best decision of our trip. The ambiance was warm and cozy, with beautiful décor. The drinks were strong and well crafted, and the food was easily some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and already miss it dearly. Absolutely 100% recommended!
Love this place, have come back here a few times. The service is great, our server Sangeet was friendly and helpful. Food is great with good vegan options. Chai was lovely as always! Edit- our server was Sangeet and not Sangeetha sorry (autocorrect)
Best afternoon tea I ever had sooo good it’s our anniversary today so worth it!! I really love the ambiance and atmosphere so cool 👌🏻 and mainly sangeet he is so helpful special thanks to u sangeet!! And I really love the samosa chat and macaroons should try!! Best and overall great experience!! I would love to comeback for sure 👌🏻 ☺️
My boyfriend and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and it was such a wonderful experience! The service was warm and attentive from start to finish, the ambience was cozy and welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing – some of the best Indian dishes we’ve ever had. To top it off, the staff surprised us with a little anniversary cake, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. Truly made our night special. Highly recommend – 10/10
It’s our first time at the Cinnamon Bazaar. Everything we had was delicious and well balanced. Dominik and Sakshi were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating- full of smiles and energy! They made our dinner experience extra special! Thank you both!
Absolutely delicious Indian "high tea", fantastic service (shout-out to Tanvir), and nice atmosphere. We chose the masala chai ilas out pot of tea to go with the food, which consisted of various chaat dishes, a couple finger sandwiches, and creative fusion patisseries. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of Indian food.
Indian afternoon tea. What a delight! A thoughtful menu taking you on a culinary delightful walk through Indian flavours with a nod to the English classics. The bebinca was the highlight. Friendly service from Rejab and Ankur and a welcoming atmosphere make this a must try experience.
I celebrated my birthday at Cinnamon Bazaar with my husband and baby, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. highly recommend :)
The Bazaar High Chai is a wonderfully innovative way to introduce the glories of chaat and South Indian flavors. We enjoyed the selection of items, and although the quantity of food is very satisfying, it is possible to ask for extra servings, and we had to have second helpings of the absolutely delicious pineapple kasundi (puffed rice) chaat, the finger sandwich of masala fish, and the Kadhai Chicken spring roll. The chai-flavored Bellini was a delicious aperitif.
We went for a friend’s birthday for dinner and it was a lovely experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was nice and chilled , not too loud despite being fully packed. The service was great, our waitress, Sakshi, was lovely.
amazing food and AMAZING service. Come here for the afternoon tea and you won’t regret it one bit. Everything was so flavorful, the staff are so amazing and so kind and the attention to detail from the atmosphere to the service was impeccable. I wish I could come here every week.
The food was stunning! We had the samosa, rara paneer, garlic naan, and shepherds pie, and every single dish was a knock out. Impeccable service by Tanvir as well!
I had the afternoon tea and it was absolutely amazing. Both the savouries and sweets were tasty and very filling. Definitely worth the price. My waiter Sangeet was very welcoming and friendly. I really enjoying the experience.
An evening walk-in, we were seated quickly and then introduced to Dominik our waiter for the evening. Water was served almost as quick as we were seated, and followed up by our drinks. Food arrived hot with incredible flavours a particular mention to the pineapple dish. Through the evening if a glass or plate was empty it was whisked away with no delay and for the drinks replaced when required. The service from Dominik was some of the best I’ve received within the area and he seemed to make the restaurant flow with no fuss. I’ve found my new favourite restaurant and will be back with friends to try the taster menu.
This is the 2nd time I’ve been here and I brought friends. AGAIN, the food is amazing and the presentation. Flavors combined that I never dreamed of which was delightful. Our waiter Rejab was informative and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back!!A+++
I was walking by, checked their menu and asked if I can pop in for a dessert and chai tea only. I was very much welcomed and staff were super friendly. The dessert was the best twist of sticky toffee pudding I ever had and chai tasted authentic and not too sweet! Thank you! I will be back!
Enjoyed the afternoon tea menu with my friend. Sakshi who served us was friendly and super helpful. The food was divine and came quickly. Both the meat and veggie options were great. Defo recommend.
Brought a family of five for their first Indian dinner. We were blown away! Excellent service very unique takes on traditional Indian foods. So impressed! Recommend ordering multiples of the samosas and definitely try the duck curry! Our server Sara was wonderful.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was great. Drinks a little pricey though.
Amazing restaurant, brilliant food with epic flavours. Staff are extremely helpful and managed to fit me and a freind in as walk ins . Recommend the Future 50 kofta and garlic pita. Looking forward to my next visit .
We went for the set menu and it was amazing, just the 2 courses and we were full. Staff are wonderful and able to help us pick some of the best bits off the menu. Would definitely recommend for food.
This may be the best Indian food I've ever eaten. I had samosa chaat followed by paneer masala. Both incredibly tasty.
Been here twice- once for dinner and later for unlimited chaat during lunch. Both visits were absolutely fantastic!! The food is lipsmacking flavorful, fine but not pretentious, and the staff is very friendly. Special mention to Sangeet who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We will of course be back! P.S. go for their chaat lunch if you can, it is irresistible.
Amazing, cosy restaurant with a great vibe! We were immediately drawn in when we walked past. Dom and his team were super helpful, friendly and provided an awesome service! Would definitely recommend coming here for tasty food, smiley service and a great atmosphere!
I food is amazing and Sangeet took extra care of everything and served some amazing food. His small gesture of offering a cake on my birthday even without asking has made my day extra special. Thanks for putting smile on my face sangeet. 😊
We tried Afternoon tea set menu. Food is pretty decent. Ambience is really good. Service by Sangeet and Rejab is excellent. Its a good experience overall
Their High Tea is such an amazing deal for the price & the snacks served are absolutely divine. The chicken spring roll & fish sandwich is phenomenal!! We were served by Ankur and he made our experience so memorable, such incredible service. 10/10 would recommend.
The beetroot Bhejetable Cake came as four small, spicy balls bursting with flavor. The double-cooked pork belly was equally fantastic, tender and full of complexity. Service was fast and attentive. Tanvir suggested ordering black dal and garlic butter naan with the pork, and his suggestion was spot on, everything was excellent. The gin julep was interesting and flavorful. I can't wait to dine here again!
Very good food and service. Special thanks to Rejab and Heli for the service: they offered us the dessert for our anniversary! The food is very good, it is a Special place
Came to London with my husband for my birthday and was looking for Indian cuisine. I stepped away from the usual curry houses to have something more authentic and Cinnamon Bazaar did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated and calming atmosphere. We had the peshwari naan, tandoori chicken, hakka aubergine stir-fry and the pineapple chaat 👌🏻. It got a little hot for me but our waitress, Sakshi, got me a little mango milkshake to help with the 🔥 which was a sweet touch and really worked. The food was amazing! They brought out a carrot and ginger toffee pudding with a candle and Sakshi sang a quiet happy birthday which was really cute and not publically overwhelming like some places can be. I highly recommend this restaurant ♥️
Amazing service amazing food , service from REJAB ,Tanvir and Sam was the best I ever had! Will definitely be back! Thanks cinnamon!
Food was delicious. Service was excellent from Sakshi and Dom. Very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.
This meal was beautiful, and the special anniversary plate was a thoughtful touch, our waitress Sakshi was brilliant. We ordered the festive menu
Really tasty food, great customer service, my 3rd time to this place and I still love it :) 4th time I came in on 10th September 2025, enjoyed it again. Good customer service from Shrati (I hope I got her name correct) our group of 12 was smaller than planned due to the tube strike and the staff were very understanding and welcoming. Great food again, different items on the menu which was nice. Loved the indo beef curry and chicken tikka. Aubergine dish also good. Small menu but tasty whatever is there. We had 3 courses plus a bottle of wine and beers and was about £63 pp. Portions are decent - 2-3 dishes per person plenty.
I have been to Cinnamon Bazaar four times, and each visit has been better than the last. The food is absolutely delicious, every dish judiciously spiced with the precision of a surgeon and the flair of a poet. The staff, meanwhile, anticipate one’s needs with almost uncanny accuracy. Frankly, if this place gets any better, I may be obliged to move in.
We had the high tea there and it was delicious and presentation was so pretty. The staff were really friendly and worked so hard for us. I'd highly recommend this place.
Cinnamon Bazaar in Covent Garden was an excellent choice for our group team meal and delivered a fantastic experience across the board. The food was a real highlight, especially for a group setting. The menu worked perfectly for sharing, allowing everyone to try a wide range of dishes. Each plate was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully spiced—modern Indian cooking that still feels authentic and comforting. Every dish we tried was consistently high quality, and there was something to suit everyone at the table. Customer service was outstanding, particularly considering we were a larger group. The staff were organised, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal. Orders were handled efficiently, dishes arrived at a great pace, and the team were always happy to help with recommendations or accommodate requests. We felt very well looked after. The atmosphere made it ideal for a team meal. The space is stylish and lively without being overwhelming, creating a relaxed yet upbeat environment where conversation flows easily. It felt special without being formal, which was perfect for bringing the team together. Overall, Cinnamon Bazaar is a fantastic spot for a group or team meal, delivering exceptional food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.
We had such a lovely evening at Cinnamon Bazaar. I visited with friends and it was the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable night out. Our table was lovely, the atmosphere was ideal without being overwhelming, and the whole space had a great energy about it. The food was genuinely excellent. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp curry that was full of flavour. The selection of chaat we ordered were all delicious, each one a little different. Overall, it was an great evening in central London with great food, great company, and a fantastic atmosphere. I’d happily return and would definitely recommend it to others
We had booked a table for 7:30 for Saturdaythe 27th September, we arrived on time. However the restaurant was very busy so we only got seat at 7:45, even after booking a table. We had our small kid with us, by the time our startes arrived it was 8:15 pm. Restaurant manager for the shift was Pankaj I guess, he did apologise for the delay. However, we were served by a very nice gentleman with the name Ankur. We ordered a couple of cocktails which were nice. For small plates we ordered Samosa chat, pineapple with kasundi, pedron chillies and dhai bhalla chat, all the small plates were well balanced and very tasty. For our kid we ordered pawns and nice which was very delectable and perfectly cooked. Only issue was that it came 20 minutes after ordered the dish!. For main course we ordered Kolkata style jackfruit curry and roti. The curry was meat style and tasty. We were originally going to order deserts, but then decided against it. We asked another gentleman with a small beard for the bill, he acknowledged but did not bother getting the bill, only after Ankur came back on the floor did he came to us and asked if we were ready to order deserts, to which we said no as we were full and that we would like the bill. Ankur ,bless him gave us complimentary rasmali tres leche and carrot and ginger toffee pudding to compensate for the delays in the service, which was not Ankurs fault Giving 4 stars just because of the service. Though no fault of our server Ankur, who worked very hard and was on point and kept apologising for the delay. He waited the tables swiftly and he did look well after us. So we'll done to Ankur. This must have been our 5th visit, and the only time faced slight issues with service, that said food was nice and our server Ankur was great with service. We would suggest the restaurant to have more waiting staff and servers on the floor during busy period. We will visit again chef Vivek Singh, we love the chats at your restaurant and the food ofcourse.
We really like the food and the place. And I am really appreciated that Sangeet reserved a corner place down. We love his service it is amazing.
We had a great Valentine’s evening at Cinnamon Bazaar in Covent Garden; food and atmosphere great but what really set this restaurant apart was the incredible service. Our waiter Rejab could not have done more for us, but he wasn’t obsequious, just caring, thoughtful and above all fun. He made the experience 5/5. Exceptional.
Looks nicer in the photos. Food was nice but have had better. Also disappointed to not see butter chicken or variation of this dish on the menu. Service is incredibly slow. Birthday plate didn't feel exciting/ very low effort. Ran out of chai at 18:30! Probably wouldn't go back.
A rather disappointing experience at Cinnamon Bazaar for their Sunday Bottomless Brunch. Unfortunately we had an hour's wait for our order to be delivered and then a number of items were missing from our courses. The restaurant was somewhat busy and the lack of staff was very noticeable and lead to long delays. The food menu is Indian cuisine. The Shrimp starter is recommended so too the Samosa Chat. For mains the Chicken dish was also recommended. However the Lamb Rogan Josh Shepherd Pie was a big disappointment as it was quite dry and overcooked lacking any juice and moisture. The bottomless drinks option was very limited and came with a number of restrictions. All in all I was rather disappointed with the whole experience. Adequate staff and good service can make the difference with ones dining experience. We did relay our concerns to the Manager who was apologetic and provided a number of complimentary dishes. However the overall dining experience was average at best.
Came here with my partner at the beginning of the month and while the food was great, the experience was soured by the service and the fact that they deleted the Google review that she had left a few weeks ago (she just discovered it was missing because she wanted to recommend this place's food to her friend). We visited for lunch and the food was delicious and prepared beautifully. It's just a shame that they turn to deleting reviews that paint them in a negative light. Our waiter was friendly to me and addressed me by my name but never directly addressed my partner or asked for her name. At the end of the meal, he handed me a business card with his name on it asking to leave a review, which my partner did. It's a little strange to ask for patrons to mention your name in a review, when you're not even asking the person writing the review what their name is. Once again reiterating that the food is good but the service could definitely be improved.
A charming medium/large restaurant serving Indian cuisine with great service. Unfortunately I'm alarmed as to the food preparation side of the restaurant as both my starter and my main dishes were tainted with separate types of small remnant packaging (paper packaging and clear plastic packaging). The front of house staff were professional and were deeply apologetic and waived the cost of the meal and offered to rebook me for another try.
If you are looking for modern indian cuisine, then this place is for you but if you prefer less fast paced dining, with attentive service you may need to try it when it is less busy. I wish the menu was perhaps divided up clearly into dry dishes and ones with a sauce. I couldn't see anywhere you could order a side curry sauce to mop up nan bread and the rice dishes so challenging if you want to try a drier dish. The samosa chaat starter was tasty but whilst the actual samosa was hot, the accompanying sauce with peas was not so not sure if that is how it is served. Probably not one of my favourite dining experiences.
