Champagne + Fromage - Covent Garden

We did the champagne flight and it was absolutely amazing - not only delicious but also very informative, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was outstanding; you really couldn’t ask for better. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout. The space itself is so cosy and inviting. We ordered the gastro board, which was beautifully presented and offered a great selection of meats and cheeses. The burrata was perfectly creamy, and the fresh salad added a lovely, light balance. A true gem in Covent Garden. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Perfect! The cheese offering is out of this world, and everything we had was delicious. The champagne, as recommended by our lovely server was spot on too. Overall, an absolutely awesome evening! Can highly recommend this place for a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Visited prior to a westend show after pre-booking afternoon tea. Although there was some confusion on if we had booked it or not, and the manager was on his way with gluten free bread, we decided for an alternative menu. The food was great, very friendly and attentive. The tables are a bit too close together and felt a bit claustrophobic. Overall, would highly recommend.

Lovely, warm, and cozy Champaign bar in the heart of Covent Garden. Cheese board offers several types of cheese options from France to choose from. The goat and sheep’s milk soft cheese was divine and paired well with the Champaign flight and roasted garlic that can be spread on a fresh baguette slice. The service was excellent. Each Champaign glass took use down a journey of the region, taste, and notes. Highly recommend this place for a date night or just for the experience.

5 stars all the way for Champagne .+ Fromage in Covent Garden. My friend and I went as part of a birthday treat having bought a champagne and cheese masterclass. Wow, we ended up there for 3 hours and had the best afternoon. Remy was amazing, informative, attentive but just let us take our time and savour the whole experience. We enjoyed every second. Champagne and wine combos were exceptional. You have to go. Thanks Remy.

Thank you Remi for your warm welcome and attentive service, the champagne recommendation was superb. We loved every last drop of our bottle of Michel Furdyna. We happened to walk by and smell the delicatessen aroma from the doorway (it's a good thing for me), so we decided to check it out. Wow! What a great place! We had champagne tasting matched with a gorgeous and delicious plate of French cheeses and meats, together with detailed explanation for each glass of champagne we tasted. I forgot to server's name, but he was super a knowledge professional with huge passion for his job. I'll go there again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

My husband & I came here for dinner after the theatre. Location is 10/10, size is 10/10, food is 10/10, champagne is 10/10 and most importantly every single person who works here is incredible! Highly recommend the champagne flight and learning a little for an interesting aperitif at the end! We also recommend basically everything on the menu! We also purchased a bottle to go!

Very knowledgeable staff. They were able to describe each champagne and make recommendations based on our preferences. We tried almost all the champagnes available by glass, it’s a great range and all were really nice. The food was also great. We had a selection of different dishes and enjoyed them all.

We loved this little gem of a restaurant. Great food, atmosphere and fun staff. A few hiccups with the service but nothing major and they more than made up with it in charm and bonhomie! We would love to come again!

What a fantastic experience at the Covent Garden Champagne & Fromage for my wife's birthday surprise. Angus was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome. Wonderful cozy place in central London. Great service with really friendly staff and nice ambience. If you like cheese and/or champagne you will love this spot. Don't need a suit and tie to enjoy!

Really did not know what to expect, but our waitress was full of recommendations for us and it all went together very well. Our waitress (young lady with a slight American accent) was absolutely brilliant, and asset to the business in our opinion.

What a lovely little spot in Covent Garden, a real gem of a find. Like to support small businesses and not big chains and loved this chic little place. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend and return.

What a wonderful experience!! Amazing staff, what fun they bring to the restaurant. I loved the rosè I was given as a desert it was spectacular and it couldn't have been a more selected champagne for me. Went here last Sunday for a bday party. Food was delicious but especially want to call out the staff - super accommodating (dealing with last minute booking changes), friendly, and helpful (staff seemed genuinely passionate about explaining about the cheese and wines). Hope the owner reads this so they can recognize their staff!

We had a wonderful afternoon at Champagne + Fromage in Covent Garden. We enjoyed a tasting of Champagnes along with a plate of cheeses and meats, and everything was absolutely excellent. The balance between the flavours of the food and the Champagnes was just perfect — each complemented the other beautifully. A special mention to Remy, who guided us through the tasting. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good Champagne, great cheese, and warm hospitality.

Little hidden gem that’s punches way above its weight, came in for a date on Valentine’s Day and was met with exceptional service from the staff throughout the whole meal. The food was delicious (definitely have the fondue) and the wine selection proved to pair beautifully as well. Definitely worth checking out. 10/10

Booked an early table for NYE before the theatre, we arrived early and were given a warm, friendly welcome and our table was waiting. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Food was perfect, the fig, walnut and goats cheese salad was amazing, Camembert with rosemary was spot on and a decent baguette.. Lovely selection of champagne. Haven’t visited for a couple of years , and we left wondering why we’d got out the habit. Hope to make it more often, it’s back on the radar.

We absolutely loved it! My daughter wanted raclette in central London and there isn't much choice, but we were delighted with Champagne + Fromage! The food, atmosphere and incredible staff made it a wonderful evening and experience. We will 100% be back! Mercy!

Angus took what was already going to be a great pre-theatre experience and turned it into a memorable night and the perfect start to our show. He looked after everything from our food selection to the most important choice......bubbles. Everything was sublime, we could have been in Paris! We came across Champagne + Fromage almost by accident, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the place had a warm, intimate atmosphere—nothing pretentious, just genuinely welcoming. The staff were fantastic from start to finish: friendly without ever being overbearing, clearly passionate about what they do, and happy to guide us when we weren’t sure what to choose. We’ll definitely be returning.

I have been to this Champagne + Fromage quite a few times over the years, but this was a very memorable visit. Lunch with a great friend (her first time) and a first encounter with Angus! He really looked after us, gave us great background on products, was really jovial, attentive and kept us entertained. The food was, as always, on point. Angus chose our cheeses, a couple of which I wouldn't have initially gone for, but they were delicious. The bubbles were delicious, and we had a wonderful lunch. Thank you.

My husband and I had a wonderful treat here this afternoon. Our cheese and meat platter was mouthwateringely delicious and the bubbly, went down so, so nicely!! I booked a table for this restaurant 9 days ago, I noted on my reservation that one of the diners was gluten free but there was no gf bread or crackers available. The staff are genuinely apologetic and gave us a free potato dish, but really in these days of allergies and allergen I don’t think a packet of gf crackers with 9 days notice too much to ask for 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ That said, the four of us had a lovely experience and would heartily recommend this place for early evening dining. 👍

We had a fantastic evening. The sharing board was full of delicious meats and cheeses, paired with the champagne was perfect. The staff were very knowledgeable about the champagne’s and happy to share their knowledge. Thank you for a lovely evening Highly recommend

Oh, this was a weird one. Champagne selection was alright, but a lot of the options by glass came from one producer. Food delivery was slow, even though pretty much anything warm was simply reheated. Also, all our plates had drops of jam on them - this couldn’t have been by design, so pretty annoying. Service was fine, matched the place.

Dirty cushions, the food was incredibly overpriced (although the charcuterie was good). The fondue especially was extremely disappointing and was split and chewy. The waiter was also quite overbearing. I’m sure it would be fine if you’re going for a glass of wine and some nibbles but don’t expect the actual food to wow you. Update: Angus, the manager, called and was incredibly apologetic and a lovely guy.

Waited just over half hour for fondue, potatoes burnt but soft, obviously cooked previously and warmed up, tables to close together, cushions dirty. Very overpriced. Didn't bother with the champagne
