Zizzi - The Strand

The layout of the restaurant is nice with an open kitchen. The food was amazing between the starters and the main dishes we were so full as the plates sizes are very generous. The waitress Marie was amazing! Very nice, funny and welcoming. We had a great time but unfortunately no room for desert🤗

Only had desserts before going to the theatre but really tasty and great service by Klaudia!

The service was great and our waitress made sure we scan my club card to get points. Food was nice and came out very quickly despite so packed in the restaurant . I love the open kitchen view. The only thing I didn’t like that all customers were crammed at the back and the front had empty tables. The place is maximised for seating and feels we all sit together with other customers like one big family 😆

We were served by Jessica who was very attentive & friendly. She recommended one of the festive dishes which was stunning! Thank you!

Came here for dinner with my girlfriend, the portions were big and we certainly left full. The food was very good as well, chicken was juicy, veggies nicely grilled and gelato not too sweet but very tasty. Although the food was amazing the highlight of our night was certainly our lovely waiter Jessica. She made very good recommendations showing her knowledge of the menu, allowing us to have the best night possible. Thank you so much Jessica and we will be returning certainly.

Popped in for lunch, easy to find, the restaurant is located 1 level below street, and a rss is via stairs. We were greeted, seated and served by Rob, wonderful service, order was spot on even with changes, and food and service were 10/10, you could happily spend more and get lower quality food and service. It was reasonably busy but still quiet, and a nice place to escape the madness of nearby Covent Garden and the Strand. Comes highly recommended for location service and food. Thank you Rob.

I've been to this restaurant numerous times and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and the service is very good; they pay attention to detail. I especially love it when Manuela greets us with her warmth and kindness; she makes us feel right at home.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal at Zizzi on the Strand. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — exactly what you hope for when dining in central London. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, even on a busy evening. A special shoutout to Jessica, who made the entire experience exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our meal. Her service added a personal touch that really stood out and made our visit memorable. If you’re in the area and looking for great Italian food with excellent service, this Zizzi location is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Jessica looked after us brilliantly although it was very busy. 5 stars for Jessica - She was very attentive and food and drink was served promptly. Food was amazing - Atmosphere was very noisy. Not the restaurants fault but I guess you have to expect that leading up to Xmas. Would definitely return x

I came here today with my mum to celebrate her birthday. We were here during the lunch period. The service from start to finish was amazing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented and full of flavour. You can tell a lot of care goes into every detail. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and looked after. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family! A huge shoutout to Marie (she sang happy birthday beautifully in Polish being from France) also Krzysztof and Karola; both wonderful with genuine smiles. Thank you so much!

Excellent service by Marie! Even though I was a solo customer sat in the corner she really looked after me and didn't forget about me. Everything came in perfect time, even offered all the condiments I needed without asking and food came perfectly cooked and hot. She was very friendly whicg is rare in London city centre so thank you Marie!!!

Biggest thank you to manvela and Marie! Was a great meal between friends who hadn’t seen each other in a long time. Genuinely. gave us a snack and reheated our pizzas when our friend needed to take a call. Phenomenal service, they genuinely deserve a raise. Will come here again solely for their service, it was brilliant :) Thank you Zizzi hiring managers for hiring these two angels. Making us feel blessed.

We had a lovely experience at Zizzi. The food was flavorful, well prepared, and truly enjoyable from start to finish. A special mention goes to Manuela, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable right away and her warm attitude really enhanced our visit. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious Italian food — we would happily come back.

We had a team of 14 having a post-meeting meal and I was super impressed throughout. The booking was easy, efficient and was all set up on time for us. There was no requirement to pre-order, as there is in many restaurants in the area, meaning it was really easy for me, as organiser. The staff were incredible; our server was a new-starter, but she knew the menu and she had all of the tools to make her job easy; she was being discreetly supervised during the mains order, with a really friendly manager, who made it look she was just collecting menus, but if you watched closely, she was supporting her new colleague. Our server was attentive, without being overbearing and was really friendly. The food itself was exceptional - the team preparing everything were fast, but with excellent attention to detail. The speed of delivery was as fast as it would've been for a table of 4 and it was very high quality, with everyone being really pleased with their choices. We'll definitely be going back there after future meetings - Thank you Team Zizzi Strand!

We ended up booking at Zizi completely last minute after our original restaurant double-booked us for our Christmas party — and honestly, it turned out to be the best twist of the night. They managed to fit us in without any fuss, which we were so grateful for. Our server, Manuela, was an absolute delight. She was so kind, attentive and genuinely made us feel looked after from the moment we sat down. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and so reasonably priced for the quality. What started as a bit of a stressful situation turned into such a lovely evening. Huge thank you to the team for saving the night for us — we’ll definitely be back!

Spoke to Tanya earlier to book a table who was welcoming and capable… arrived on time and was promptly seated .. our waiter Sushil came over to take our drinks order and food as we were ready. Everything was very good .. Service excellent… food excellent… venue excellent A lot of pre theatre diners which requires prompt service…

Absolutely enjoyed the food here and the vibe of the restaurant. Definitely coming back. Staff named Aysu I believe, was really welcoming and was really friendly with us. She suggested some things from the menu which turned out to be delish!

We were there for a pre-show dinner. It was lovely. The restaurant was a little quiet but we put that down to it being new years day. The toilets were designed for very short people. I'm not excessively tall but I banged my head on a light fitting and had to stoop to see myself in the mirror.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful setting of this restaurant. As soon as we stepped in, the waiting staff approached us with a beautiful smile. We hadn't booked but this wasn't a problem. Manuela, the waitress took us to a nice quiet table. While taking the order, she paid special attention to our dietary requirements, for e.g., gluten, nuts, lactose allergens etc. She further recommended which wine is best paired with our food order. We were quite hungry after a long day visiting places of interest in London, so we chose to have a three course meal. The food was delicious. I would say a reasonable italian food with decent wine and affordable price (we had vouchers, so we only paid for the alcoholic drinks). We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the evening, and mostly chatting with the lovely Manuela who made us feel at home. A visit which was worth it. Will definitely visit again.

Attended on Dec 18th so was very busy. Hadn't booked but staff found us a table after a short wait. Staff were friendly & we were served quickly. Food was good & their Pina Colada was fabulous (although quite expensive) Toilets were clean & tidy & the atmosphere was good. Overall a good experience & would visit again 😊

We had Sushil as our waiter and he was very kind, patient and gave us quick service. The food was good especially the Garlic Bombe. Overall, a great experience with the food and service!

A nice place, where you know what you're gonna get. Nothing terrible but nothing to blow you away. The staff is lovely, the food acceptable. Kid friendly, and fast. The restaurant itself had a nice service, and the prices are good for London. I just wish they didnt add the service charge automatically, I like to be able to actually decide based on the service whether I want to tip or not - it shouldnt be automatic.

Sushi! (our waiter) was utterly flawless - a real help and very kind and patient with us. Very grateful for his help and dedication. Oh yeah, the food was good too :)

A very pleasant restaurant with a lovely decoration. I came for lunch and had no regrets at all. The food was good, and the two waiters were polite, attentive, and smiling, while also taking great care of our special requests. In the evening, the atmosphere must be even more lively and festive. I totally recommend this place, and a big thank you to the staff for this great experience.

Damn this particular one in the franchise is so sad. Thursday evening and it’s empty. The few customers are pushed to the side seats leaving a vacant centre of the restaurant. Just a somber atmosphere. Probably only survives on the theatre crowd. Food was fine. Simple.

Absolutely disgusted with the service. My main course came before my starter. My starter came with a source which had Bel peppers in when I told them quite clearly that I had an allergy. When trying to pay the bill was told they do not accept money cash. When I did tell the duty manager about the allergy all she said was oh sorry. Will never use this establishment again and be wary if you have an allergy.

We arrived here at 6pm and by 7.15 we did not receive our main course at all. We had to leave without eating as we had a theatre show booked for 7.30. I appreciate that a Friday night is a busy night but the business needs to allocate enough staff to serve us our food, especially considering we ordered from the set menu which they are surely churning out for lots of customers anyway. I would recommend not to go here on a Friday night as they won't have enough staff to serve food and you will be waiting a very long time.

most of the staff were pretty nice, some of them were really rude. i was with a group of people that got to zizis pretty early so we could be ready to go see a west end show we’d booked to see for 7.30, and we were late for the show. i ordered off the set menu and they charged me for a regular menu price and im just astonished by it when i knew full well i pre-ordered and ate off the set menu that should’ve costed me £25 but costed £40! ridiculous. i ordered the meatball starters, they were actually really nice and they were the only things i liked during the whole stay so i’d recommend that. i got the chorizo carbonara and it was shocking, it arrived warm instead of hot and there was no chorizo in it at all, i was just eating cold plain pasta. and then i got the gelato and sorbet and didn’t ask me on a flavour preference when they were obliged to and they served me chocolate flavour of which i don’t like. so essentially i have paid for a meal i could hardly enjoy and i’m just struck by it. the drinks were so expensive like why am i paying £7 for a soft drink. they were aware we were coming and still managed to take 2 hours to deliver our food knowing everything was preordered. i’m just shocked. lovely staff for the most part and the place was really pretty and aesthetically pleasing, some rude people working there but i can understand that as there were quite a few of us, but still just take it into consideration that you should be mindful of the fact you’re working in hospitality- coming from a hospitality worker btw. very overpriced too. won’t be coming back, hope whoever reads this decides not to go there. note: the staff adding fake reviews is embarrassing, just accept that it’s inevitable that the staff performance was poor. do better and try to get real reviews for once instead of getting all the staff to raise your star rating.
