Great food and service! The french toast is amazing!

Miznon (what Erev used to be) was one of my favourite restaurants in London, and Erev is such a fantastic upgrade. The food was super high quality, delicious, unpretentious and very hearty (you definitely don’t leave hungry). My favourite was the aubergine tartare - so unique - but everything else we tried was fantastic too. The service was great, smiley and kind staff, accommodating and very hospitable. Food came quickly, and piping hot 😋. The atmosphere was great too, exactly like the old Miznon - great music, fun vibe, and a really good option for a more upscale alternative to Miznon without being stuffy and pretentious at all. 11/10, cannot recommend more highly to go and try it out!

Lovely service, beautiful spot with nice decor and cool music. The brioche French toast was tasty (looking burnt in the picture but it wasn’t at all) and had a falafel pita takeaway from the Miznon Hatch for lunch another day which was delicious. I liked the fact that it was one big piece of giant falafel, made it extra moist, and on the softest pita bread.

Erev offers a warm, inviting vibe with a modern Middle Eastern twist. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. The space is stylish yet relaxed, with friendly staff and a thoughtful menu. It's a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a casual meal. The attention to freshness and detail really shows, and the atmosphere makes you want to linger. A lovely place that brings a fresh take to a classic dish—definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Fantastic, exceptional and delicious food. We could eat here until we are completely overwhelmed with it 🥰 The hummus starter with labne and muhammara is a definite must‑try. The fried sea bass (in the picture) was also outstanding, cooked to perfection 😍

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, service amazing and everyone was so happy and kind. The ambience !! The food was just Devine, so many different cool things and all well cooked. They even bought my boyfriend some birthday cake and we had some nice chats with the workers ☺️ so happy I chose this restaurant and we will definitely be back again! ❤️❤️❤️

An amazing experience with incredible food and even better service from our waitress, Aline, who made us feel very welcome and gave us excellent suggestions on the dishes. Everything we ordered was beyond delicious and the chocolate mousse with olive oil and sea salt was the perfect way to end. Will certainly be coming back and asking for Aline.

Cannot say enough good things! We stumbled across this place and decided to try it. Steak and eggs was perfect, avocado bruschetta amazing, and we also did the French toast! We are bummed we are leaving today - saved for a future favorite!!

Enjoyed Erev a lot. Nice menu with twists on classic dishes that were all really great. Service was a delight.

Visited Erev in Notting Hill with two friends and sat outside. The staff were lovely but very busy, so service was a bit slow and we had to give a few reminders. The food, however, was fantastic...we shared the Rock Salad, Tomato Salad, Hummus, aubergine, and pan-fried sea bass, all fresh and full of flavour. The Lychee Pomegranate cocktail was also super refreshing. Despite the slower service, the atmosphere, the super nice staff and food made it a great spot for sharing plates with friends or for a date night.

This was one of the best meals I have ever had! The vegetables here are incredible!! Our server, Aline, was also so so kind and accommodating to a gluten allergy.

Amazing spot for Saturday dinner! We came with friends to celebrate my birthday and God! It was amazing. Stefan took care of us and quickly made us feel at home. I will definitely recommend the place to all of my friends, and I wish more waiters out there were like Stefan!

Gigi’s the best. She’s so sweet, relaxed and gets you your drinks to you with love. My favorite day in London was sitting near her as I ate the awesome food and having chats through her shift. The kitchen crew are such sweethearts and make sure you leave happy and full of great food

My new favorite restaurant in London! We went to try the autumn menu and the food was nothing short of perfect. I loved the halibut, aubergine carpaccio and manti selection

I can't describe how great of a time my girls and I had tonight. Aline served us and she was truly the sweetest, we could not recommend this restaurant more!!!

Fantastic restaurant with an impressive entrance when I arrived. I was immediately struck by the beautiful setting and the warm welcome from the staff. Aline’s professional service stood out — she was attentive and very fun, knowledgeable, and very descriptive in guiding my table through the menu. Her expertise in the dishes made our ordering decisions much easier and ensured every choice was delicious. Aline's recommendation about the prime fillet, Sabish and tuna sashimi left amazing long lasting feeling and I will try again when I return.

A reliably exceptional experience, with each new visit and sample of a different dish bringing great joy… something that every person involved feels deeply committed to providing. In summary: Food? Great. Staff? Great. Service? Great. Atmosphere? Great. Don’t wait — just go!

What a fabulous spot! I spent a good few hours here at the weekend sitting, reading and watching the world go by. The food was excellent. Sunny side up eggs on brioche with herbs and tomatoes was really divine. The Turkish wine is delicious and the staff and service exceptional. It's a busy spot, but the staff handle themselves with grace. I noticed a few very rude patrons and was appalled at the way some people treat wait staff but they still managed to handle those situations with absolute class. Alina the lady who served me was an absolute gem and really made my afternoon special. Thank you to all the staff and especially to Alina. I can't wait to return. Smashed potatoes with garlic aioli was delicious too :)

Erev is very welcoming and has a warm elegant vibe. The whole experience was a delight thanks to the attentive, professional and friendly service from our server, Ronia. The short rib was absolutely divine. Top stuff.

Erev is an absolute gem. The food was amazing—beautifully prepared and full of flavor—and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were so well looked after by Alinea; her service was attentive, genuine, and made the whole experience feel special. We would honestly come back for her service alone. Highly recommend!

Lovely friendly staff and a warm welcome on a special occasion. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal. I loved the grilled romanesco with tahini and tender lamb loin with freekeh and salsify. Comforting and delicious.

Everything about this place is incredible. The food, the service, the vibe, the environment. We took a friend for her birthday lunch here today and the staff went above and beyond to give her the best time. I can’t even describe how delicious the food is! I just want to go back ASAP!

This place is amazing if you can get in on a weekend night. We showed up late with no reservation but Aline was amazing and squeezed us in. She also gave us a full rundown of the menu and recommended some great dishes like: Turkish tacos, the Manti, and the chicken brochette. It was a memorable night with a perfect atmosphere, amazing food and great staff!

Went for lunch and it was delicious! Totally recommend getting the hummus, labene, aubergine and feta salad. We also had the tuna which was great and cut so so thinly- loved it all!

Really enjoyed this. Huge Eyal Shani fan although I was informed this is a “cousin” restaurant with a Turkish chef. It has Eyal Shanis fingerprints all over it though. Delicious and great value for an expensive restaurant. We indulged and loved everything.

Absolutely wonderful. I ended up going twice with two people in the span of a week for dinner. The pita at both this, and the other Miznon is the best in London. The food at this branch is wonderful. The dinosaur bone short rib just melts in the mouth, the wild mushroom beurre blanc with the halibut was incredibly flavourful, and the salt baked beetroot with labneh was a surprising show stealer. Well flavoured with a really good bite. Personally, I'll pass on the potato and the cheesecake when I go back. We got the "matok" dessert board so we could try all of them. The pistachio cake was the best by far. Great crumb, light and airy with a hit of salt which made it very more-ish.

This is one of my top favorite spots in the neighborhood. The food is gorgeous and cooked to perfection — the beef short rib was so tender it was falling apart, the crudo was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was fantastic, with great music playing. On top of that, the service was warm and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I look forward to returning to.

Tucked into the ever-evolving dining scene of Notting Hill, Erev feels like the kind of restaurant that understands exactly what modern London diners are looking for — warmth, refinement, and a sense of effortless cool. From the moment you step inside, the welcome sets the tone. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, striking that rare balance between professionalism and natural friendliness. The food is where Erev truly shines. Each dish feels thoughtfully composed — fresh, vibrant, and subtly refined rather than overworked. There’s a clear Turkish–Middle Eastern influence running through the menu, but it’s expressed with restraint and finesse, giving familiar flavours a quietly elevated edge. Nothing feels heavy; instead, the plates arrive light, precise, and deeply satisfying. The cocktails follow the same philosophy. Fresh, well-balanced, and made with care. Erev’s setting adds to its charm. The atmosphere is cool without trying too hard — relaxed, friendly, and effortlessly social. It works beautifully for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or a stylish family meal, though it’s clearly geared more toward adults than younger children. The crowd mirrors the space: easygoing, well-dressed, and distinctly Notting Hill in spirit.

Will be recommending this to everyone. All the food was sensational, we ordered lots of dishes to share. My top mentions are the seabass (my favourite), the grilled romanesco, the smoked aubergine, the mezze selection (pitta bread like pillows, so good), the kale salad, the burning potato crusted in parmesan and the yellowtail tuna fish. The staff were so welcoming and the perfect balance of attentive and giving us space. Such a great atmosphere, you can tell a lot of attention to detail and care has gone into this restaurant.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, great background music, sitting by the window looking out into Notting Hill. The staff could not have been more lovely. They have a potato dish that was absolutely amazing, who knew potato could be so good. All the food was delicious, had some amazing lamb freekeh. Topped it off with a great cheesecake. Can't wait to come back!

First time at Erev and very impressed. Lovely welcoming staff - dog friendly and even got our pooch some water without us asking - food was delicious - fresh & tasty & plentiful. The dips to start & then we had filet & lamb chops. I really wanted the chocolate mousse for dessert but was too full. Good excuse to go back. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner with a friend, had amazing evening. Cannot fault the service or food whatsoever. The lady who served us, I believe her name was Ranya was so hospitable and even gave us a small portion of the pistachio cake to try as we were torn between desserts. We will definitely be back

Erev is an absolute gem. The restaurant itself is stunning, and the food truly exceeds expectations—fresh, light, and crafted with the finest ingredients. The aubergine tartare is simply unforgettable. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The chocolate mousse is a real treat, perfectly balanced and elevated by a hint of olive oil that makes it truly unique. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

Dined with a local couple here while on a recent visit from NYC. The smoked aubergine, yellowtail tuna crudo, lamb, that 41 layered potato, and the rest including those perfect pillowy pitas, all amazing & satisfying. Delicious cocktails, too. That motak dessert board = big finish. While the food is impressive, the fact that the manager visited with us for way more than "Is everything OK?" + proudly answered all of my "how did you make that?!" questions, along with a staff who made us feel welcome and never rushed... Great find in Notting Hill. Will go back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Fantastic! I had an amazing experience at this restaurant last night with my cousin. The food was absolutely delicious — from the homemade hummus nibble to the starters and mains, everything was just perfect! The wine was fabulous and paired beautifully with the dishes. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and even though it was busy, we were incredibly well looked after by the lovely Aline, who gave us her full attention all evening. I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough — I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Erev brings Jewish-Mediterranean cooking to Notting Hill with real flair. The space is stylish without trying too hard — good music, perfect volume, and a warm, buzzy atmosphere. The wine list is a highlight, full of unexpected gems from Georgia, Israel, and Turkey. The food? Excellent. Every dish bursts with flavor and thought. The only catch is the modern London curse — “small plates to share” that are neither big nor shareable. Great bites, questionable value. Service is friendly and professional, though a bit too efficient — you get the sense they’d love to reset your table before you’ve finished the last sip of wine.

P

Nice looking place, vibe and service and the starters were great, esp the hummus. The mains were mixed - chicken kebab good, two fish - one good one just OK, lamb dumplings small and disappointing. Desserts all great - esp the choc mousse which really was top. Main issue for the 4* rating was expensive for what it was, even for London - £90ph with limited drinks - but still, very good place overall

S
Sara Carvalho

We had a team lunch at Erev and shared several dishes. Our favourites were the yellowfin tuna, the chicken with yoghurt, and the parmesan burning potato. I wouldn’t recommend the smoked aubergine dip with pistachios, as it tasted more like synthetic smoke flavour than charred aubergine. The mezze plate also needs more bread - it’s delicious, but not enough when each person only gets a tiny triangle to go with several dips. Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back, but the area has so many amazing restaurants that this wouldn’t make it into my top choices.

The food wasn't terrible but it was surprisingly bland. At the prices we paid I found this very disappointing. Worse than the food was the attitude of the staff, in particular the red headed lady who was very inhospitable. Can't say I'd recommend anything here really. Each of us ordered a different dish and none were impressed which is quite an accomplishment considering we were a party of 6 and ordered a variety of dishes each. The hummus is watery, the falafel is mealy and dry, the chicken was dry and lacking in flavour and the filet was very average.

V
Vittorio Zoldan

Very overpriced. We had a set menu and they were very cheap with how many plates they brought out. The food wasn't bad, but not a single plate was leftover, which means it wasn't enough food for the table. It's the kind of place where they keep filling up your wine glass when you've only just sipped it to make you order more bottles. Price was 111£ per head with only 1 bottle every 3 people. I will not go back.

s
sienceSasha

Unfortunately, very disappointing experience. Throughout all evening I had a feeling that there was not enough staff on the floor, as I had to stand up a couple of times to ask for the menu and a bill. The staff however were very welcoming and friendly, and served us well. When the starters were brought, I couldn’t believe the size of the portion - attached a picture so that people have an understanding what they order. Few marinated sea bream pieces were ridiculously small. I have been to many high-end restaurants in London, and have never seen something small like this, that you can barely taste. You can put a bigger price, but at least give people something to eat there! :) The same with tuna and shrimp tortellini - 4 small tortellini on the plate. The only good thing was cheesecake - a big slice and exceptional taste. There’s no need to say we left hungry.

Z
Z M

Unfortunately not impressed at all! The hummus wasn’t good and too liquid, the tuna was tasteless, the mini taco lahmachun they recommended wasn’t great and the aubergine was …. Just an aubergine!! I can save the chicken skewers and the Basque cheese cake because they were okay. Service was good!

Y
Yo2available

The price and the quality of food is not really matching. I'm happy to pay a bit more but then I expect good quality, and unfortunately this wasn't the case. I won't be coming back!

The ottoman baklavas are an insult to baklava, tasteless. the shakshuka ( which is “menemen with a twist” with meatballs in it ) is an insult to menemen, they use canned tomato and you can taste it. The service: there is an orange colour hair lady at the door like dominatrix, her behaviour is very stern. We had to prove from our phones that we had a booking it’s was embarrassing experience. just not good energy… the other French waitress was friendly but kept touching our arm when speaking, which was uncomfortable. Their hummus is amazing, their chicken dish is also very good. There are so many elements of Turkish culture on the menu and in the restaurant, it’s almost a Turkish restaurant but it’s not. Then we found out it’s an Israeli restaurant, no trace from Israeli culture was found except the name, certainly not food and decoration. They took food from Greece,Turkey and Arab cultures gave it a weird twist. Almost felt like culturally inappropriate. Oh and the portions are small. Just wanted to give our honest opinion

P
Paola Alvez Vasconcelos

I’m not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, but the service here was so poor that I feel obliged to share this experience. Despite the restaurant being empty, we were left waiting at the door for around five minutes before being seated. It was immediately clear that the place is seriously understaffed. Once seated, no one came to take our order until we actively had to ask for service. The wine glasses were dirty, which is unacceptable. The food then arrived cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. Overall, the level of attention, organisation, and basic hospitality was extremely disappointing. I was hosting a guest and didn’t want to cause a scene; otherwise, I certainly would not have paid the service charge. The entire experience fell well below any reasonable standard. Absolutely terrible, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
