Nice and cosy, great atmosphere. Modern. Food good size portions, served on decorative fogy plates.
Delicious food and excellent service. Perfect local Indian restaurant. I would recommend the Lamb Rogan - just the right amount of spice!
I was recently taken here by my family to celebrate my birthday. It was my first time, but definitely won't be my last. It's relatively small, but a beautiful setting. The music might not be to my taste, but the food most definitely was. The presentation, the flavours and the satisfaction it gave was ab fab. I'm one for spice, but spice with flavour and the food here undoubtedly delivered it in abundance. On top of that, the owner (Mr. Kahn) and his staff delivered fantastic, friendly, helpful service. If you want good, flavoursome, authentic tasting Indian food then you really need to pay this restaurant a visit. You will not be disappointed.
Very lovely place. Staff was very nice and welcoming and food was tasty. Highly recommend!
Amazing tastes and flavours , the lamb was tender and the butter chicken was flavourful! My second time attending and the service was just as good as the first time :) would highly recommended to anyone fancying a high end type Indian when in London ! Depending on the day you go can be quite busy so do recommend booking in advance.
First time here on a business trip, love curry and this place is somewhere you don’t want to walk past if you want a decent meal. Absolutely banging - waiter and boss man way polite. Great experience great food
Coming in the staff are very friendly the manager khan makes you feel very welcome, m Rahman was a very good server. Started with complimentary popadoms and sauces, then came the starters, I had the lamb samosas they were very succulent not too oily with a very good flavour, the onion bargys were very tasty but a little dry, I had the chicken pasandait was tasty with coconuty tastes. After the meal we were treated to chocolates, oranges and a complimentary drink. All in all I would say blossom is a must have if you are a fan of authentic Indian cuisine
The best Indian food in London in a friendly and laid back/cosy environment ❤️ thank you muhib and team :)
Fabulous food and service! Amazing place and beautiful too
Been here countless times and always bringing new people! The service and food are always fantastic!
Blossoms by Khan. I have been meaning to dine here but the location and timing is difficult which was a tell tale sign that it would not turn out to be good because when I make an effort to place that I normally can't visit something is always wrong. To be fair, it wasn't bad but the lamb could have been softer. Food took ages to arrive even though I ordered at 5ish when the restaurant was empty but was told it was due to online orders which were placed at 16:30 but the restaurant opens at 17:00. The pomegranate garnishing was probably an insult to the dish as they were not that fresh or ruby red in colour. Last but not least, the meal would have been better if they didn't offer the after eights which looked like they have been passed around many times judging by the paper where they are creased while one of the pockets on top was split on the side.
The most delicious Indian food I’ve had in london
The food at Kahn’s is delicious. It’s a relaxed environment with great service. It’s clean, friendly and a local favourite. Highly recommend!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tasty food, sincere service and a charming atmosphere. When we arrived, my girlfriend and I were greeted with a warm smile and instinctively shown to a desirable table that was away from other diners and not beside the window. For our starters, everything we ate was fresh and flavourful. The poppdum chuntneys were prepared recently and the onion bhajis were hot and crispy. For the mains we enjoyed a Veg Phall and Chicken Korma. The vegetables in the Phall were chunky and the spice in the was exactly as it should be - Extra HOT! The korma was thick and creamy with the perfect amount of coconut. At the end of our meals we were given hot wet towels, fresh orange and chocolate. A perfect touch to leave us even more satisfied. After that Khan even brought over a complimentary shot of Bailey's and Brandy for us! Throughout our evening in Blossoms, the service of both Khan and MR was attentive and not at all overbearing. They were both engaging, warm and sincere. Blossoms was very clean and had an attractive, flowery, fairy light aestheic which gave us a comforting dining experience - which is ideal for photos too! The toilets were stylish and clean too. Its clear alot of thought and effort have gone into all aspects of this restaurant and the outcomes have left us delighted. Everything on the menu was priced well and we were more than satisfied with the bill. A fantastic evening. 5 stars are easily deserved! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Very friendly service, delicious food, we are happy customers
I had a fantastic experience at Blossom by Khans tonight. It’s my second time here and once again the food, service and atmosphere was spot on!
Food is perfect! Even people who is not good at spicy should enjoy. They have not only spicy food but also mild taste and variety of meals. Customer service was superior as they tried to make us comfortable like Warm wet tissue and warm plate, free fruit after meals and staff was polite and smiling.
I have recently started visiting Clapham regularly and I noticed that ‘Blossom by Khans’ is the best reviewed local Indian restaurant by a considerable margin. The reviews are well-justified. For me, this is the perfect ‘neighbourhood Indian’, yours truly excluded [semi-jk haha]. Great location, superb food and thoroughly charming staff. The owner, Abdul, is a chef of some 41 years’ standing. The head chef and Abdul have created a fantastic menu. All the classics are on offer but the versions here are more thoughtful and better than the food at most Indian restaurants in London, including many that are far more expensive. I live in Pembrokeshire, where it is nigh on impossible to get even a halfway decent version of a curry unless I make one myself or buy a ready meal from M&S et al, each superstore being a 45m drive away from me. I am vvv picky about my Indian food and I will be returning here without hesitation.
Gorgeous meal and so accommodating for a group. Staff were very friendly and helpful and a bit of craic too. Food was delish and decor is gorgeous. Highly recommend!
Best meal I had in a long time . I wish I could eat more ! Every bite was a treat. Food is incredible . Thank you for having us .
An incredible meal - this food was delicious. The staff can’t do enough for you. Will definitely be coming back.
Second visit to this wonderful restaurant & brought my parents as i knew they would love it too. Nice decoration and tasty food, great service highly recommend.
This is a great dinner spot all around. Not only is the food good and well plated, but the atmosphere of florals and creative lighting is excellent, perfect for a date. The service is some of the best I’ve had, they are genuinely good people who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.
Delicious food, with really friendly service. The staff could not do enough to help and ensure we had a good meal and evening.
Great food, friendly staff and beautiful interior duo of blossoms. What’s not to like! Lovely chat with Mr Khan after on the trials and tribulations of living in London!
Its a cute preety restaurant with really tasty vegetarian options and fab service. We were even given a shot of baileys to finish our yummy meal off! A special thanks to Muhib for his attentive service.
Very calming relaxing atmosphere:). Nice workers too, very sweet. Not loud and just peaceful. Food was delicious ! Drinks were so refreshing. The little treats after too :)
They serve a really good curry here. Highly recommend the Tarka Dal. If you want a solid curry in Clapham, here is where you go! Lovely people, lovely service, The spicy lamb chops for starter were amazing, highly recommend!
Food was impeccable!!!! Brings me back to authentic Indian cuisine. The staff were so lovely too. I will definitely be back with more friends and family. Thankyou for a beautiful evening guys!
Not the greatest fan of Indian food, but once I found out this place existed I owed it to myself to give it a try. Ambience is really nice, and the chicken biriani was succulent and rice was nice and sticky. Deffo would recommend!
food presentation, taste, service and atmosphere are excellent. We will definitely be back for more. Loved this
Delicious feed! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Well priced. Complimentary drinks after our meal. Staff were lovely!
We have been to Blossoms a few times now and the food has always been amazing. Today the services was exceptional. The food was incredible and the recommended dishes definitely hit the spot
Great food! Really excellent, as a connoisseur of South Asian food. A fairly traditional (north) Indian menu, but with some less usual items as well. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the place was filled with New Year’s decor. 10/10 would go again, next time I’m back in London.
Had a lovely meal here with two friends. Compliments to the chef and the waiter - nothing was too much trouble for him. If we’d asked for glacial water from the foot of Annapurna, he would have happily obliged.
So happy we ‘found’ Blossom in an era when more and more establishments seem orientated towards home delivery business and lack atmosphere. Not here - Blossom is an inviting, cosy place to spend an evening with friends. Have been twice this year with our group and they made us very welcome. Menu more original than many I’ve seen. The quality & presentation of the food and the comfy interior decor makes it feel like a treat and prices are pretty reasonable for London.
Very yummy food that came super quickly. The spicy crispy calamari was amazing. Such reasonable prices and lovely staff. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for an indian restaurant.
What a wonderful restaurant. The decor is beautiful, the staff are friendly & attentive, the food is tasty. It's difficult for me to eat out as I am vegan & also gluten intolerant, but the allergens on the menu are clearly labelled & I had a variety of options to choose from which was a welcome surprise. It was our first visit & we will definitely be returning
Privilege to have this place as our local, also would recommend traveling to come here. One of the best in South London, food is faultless and the service is impeccable. Quintessential Indian, all the trimmings.
We came here after looking at reviews of several indian restaurants, while on a short trip to London. It was a very pleasant surprise. The food was very good and the service was almost perfect. We will recommend it to London friends and future fellow travellers.
Came here for a meal with my cousins and we were not disappointed! The food was incredible, never tried so many well flavoured curries and the presentation was great! Best paratha I’ve ever had too. Everyone was so kind, will definitely be back!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Blossoms! I tried the lamb vindaloo, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The service was exceptional, attentive, and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. The interior is lovely, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a fantastic dining experience!
We had an absolutely wonderful meal here. From the moment we sat down, our server made the experience exceptional. They were incredibly helpful, walking us through the entire menu and recommending dishes that matched exactly what we enjoy. Their guidance really elevated the whole evening. The food itself was outstanding. The chicken madras was rich, flavourful, and perfectly spiced. We loved every part of our visit! The service, the food, and the welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine!
A nice Tuesday evening spent in Blossom with work colleagues. Food was very good, service was attentive and the restaurant had a nice aura. Atmosphere was fine for a regular school night but hardly a highlight.
Delicious food but £18.50 for 3 king prawns. Also they missed our order so when I rang after an hour it still hadn’t been processed. It took 90 minutes to arrive. I appreciated the warning call but expected a discount or at the minimum a free dish.
I had a takeaway and was very disappointed by the food. sadly it was not a good curry. Everything tasted watered down, the Daal was flavourless - really, really watery. Onion baji was dry and overcooked. Rogan Josh was also flavourless - such a shame after all the good reviews. Can’t comment on service or atmosphere as took out
It took 40 minutes to get the food, service was extremely slow which was unacceptable, pumpkin chicken looked nice but didn’t have much taste, so did the samosa chaat, thali looked nice but all tasted quite bland. We had the Fork booking for 50% off but the first waiter asked my name twice and when paying they still didn’t do the discount and I had to tell the second waiter again my name for the booking. Overall a bad experience will not be back.
DANGER !!!! I visited Blossoms by Khans yesterday between 7–8 p.m. after making an online booking. As soon as I was seated, I noticed a cockroach crawling over my brothers cutlery and across the table while I was trying to place my order. I immediately informed the waiter, who killed it right in front of me. I was absolutely disgusted. At that point I got up and left. If there’s one cockroach visible on the table, it’s a strong sign the place is infested and not being kept clean. I didn’t receive an apology, and there is no chance I would ever pay a 10% service charge in a restaurant with pests. If they’re charging £5 for a coke…. I’d expect top tier service and cleanliness. Even the waiter and manager didn’t look bothered and zero apology… they just didn’t care….. We got up said thank you and left. A complete waste of time and a horrible first impression. Not recommended at all for tourists or locals a complete health hazard.
Avoid this place at all costs. I hosted a gender reveal event here and was seriously overcharged. I paid a £50 deposit, and my personal meal was only around £35 (lamb curry, rice, and two soft drinks), yet I was charged nearly £80 just for myself. Several of my guests were also overcharged, and they refused to provide any itemised or printed receipts. When I asked for a breakdown, staff claimed “some people left without paying,” which was not true. The only unpaid amount was about £13, which does not justify the extra charges added to our bill. This felt extremely unprofessional and dishonest. If you’re planning an event, be very careful and insist on itemised billing, or better yet, book elsewhere.
Horrible experience. The pasanda we ordered had absolutely no taste and when complaining about the sauce he told us they would thicken it up in the kitchen. We refused to eat it and asked him to take it off our bill in which he made a scene in front of the entire restaurant. Booked through First Table and when received the bill it didn’t have the 50% off accounted for. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
