Amazing staff providing excellent service. The cocktails and drinks selection was great with some small snacks to accompany the drinks. Would recommend to anyone wanting a 5 star experience
Such a lovely bar tucked away in a beautiful hotel. Service was amazing. They really made an effort for my husband. Drinks were delicious and the snacks that came with went down really well. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others.
I don’t usually go to bars but stumbled on this place since I was staying at the hotel. Went for a late night snack and coffee for late night work - had the pleasure to interact with Ergus Gaspri, Marco & Mattia who are genuinely the most attentive and humorous people I’ve met. Carried out the most fun conversations and was able to blow off some stress from work. The atmosphere and food was great but they made it a blast for me. I don’t even write reviews for restaurants but highly recommend for anyone.
Amazing cocktails and stellar service! The staff went above and beyond. Huge shoutout to Ergys, Marco, and Mattia – you made the visit exceptional. Keep up the great work!
Manetta's is a "must visit" bar when you are in London and was one of the highlights of our most recent visit. We were staying at the Flemings Mayfair (an outstanding boutique hotel with a Michelin rated restaurant) and went to the Manetta's on our first evening. It is bar steeped in history and is in some ways, like going back in time. Dating back to the 1930's, it was a glamourous, intellectual hangout for artists and writers like Agatha Christie, Gertrude Stein and James Joyce. During World War II, Manetta's was a clandestine spot where spies and secret agents would meet to exchange information. The bar has retained a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere with red velvet and black upholstery, which while clearly updated, still evokes a 1930's charm and mystique. The food and drinks are excellent with signature cocktails named after writers and their works. Making the bar particularly memorable are the bartender, Ergys, and the floor waiters Ralph and Alessandro. Friendly, courteous and satisfaction driven; these three individuals work like a well-oiled machine to provide exemplary service. As the bar became busier, they alternated roles to ensure that all customers were served quickly. At the same time, they continued engaging with customers in an entertaining way, without intruding on conversations. Go to Manetta's for the great drinks, food and service...you will have a most enjoyable evening.
Great cocktails and service! lovely sitting area, very chill music it wasn’t too loud or anything. The bartenders were also great with their recommendations.Would definitely come back and recommend!
We were staying in the Flemings hotel and went to the bar for a drink. We were greeted by an amazing team of three. We had cocktails and really enjoyed the banter with the team. We had a fantastic evening and would highly recommend this bar for a fantastic cocktail and incredible service.
We had a wonderful experience here. Sumptuous surroundings, fabulous service and classy cocktails. The cocktail list is extensive but we couldn't find anything we really fancied, so the barman created a custom cocktail just for us! Drinks are expensive but everything here is top notch. Well worth a visit.
This is one of, if not the best cocktail bar in London. Huge respect to all of the team for making us feel very special, with some sensational drinks and flavours. Big shout out to Ergys!!
We are so glad we discovered Manetta's Bar on the last day of our London trip. Possibly the best cocktail bar we have ever been to. A beautiful room, amazing cocktails, very nice bartenders and the cocktail menu was lovely. Mannetta's history is really interesting. Authors and spies hung out here.
Haven’t tried the food yet, but the cocktails were spot on and the service + atmosphere were chef’s kiss 👌 Perfect little gem for a night out in London.
Fantastic experience at Manetta's Bar. We visited on a Tuesday evening for some birthday drinks and nibbles. Service was impeccable and staff extremely polite and respectful. The place is wonderfully decorated and away from the fuss of the city. It is the perfect environment to relax and unwind. I ordered an Aperol Spritz 🍹 which was stunning; my partner had a Negroni and a beer 🍻- both lovely! We arrived fairly hungry and staff re-filled snacks for us twice (thank you!). As a plus, nobody was there during our time at Manetta's, so we had the whole space for ourselves. What a luxury! Thank you so much for your attentive service - we had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back! 100% recommended!
Absolutely amazing food and drinks! I started with the Braised Pork Belly with the Three Lives cocktail. Then on to the Truffle and Parmasean Fries with the Exiles cocktail. And to finish, the Vanilla Panna Cota with a Latte. Wouldn't change a thing. The Exiles cocktail was incredible, like nothing I've had before. Panna Cota was worth it, 100%. The braised Pork Belly was so good, I could've eaten another serving. The team was so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Popped in for pre dinner drinks and wow what a great spot. Fab decor and vibe and delicious cocktails with excellent service.
This is my fav bar for when I want to be in a nice atmosphere but have good conversation with a a small number of people (1-3 people). The interiors are lovely and it's a small and intimate space, picture plus velour velvet seat, sparkling glass decorations, quite art deco with very dressed up waiters. When it comes to cocktails you're looking at £19-24 per drink but they always taste delicious. The bar staff really know their stuff. I've been multiple times and drinks always come with some generous bar snacks, although last time I went the other tables received some snacks and we didn't. We also asked for sparkling water and were given tap water, which makes me wonder if the staff thought we weren't the type to spend any money 😂 A small disappointment as I had raved to my guest about how this was one of the most impeccable bars in Mayfair, but we didn't complain as my guest had a nut allergy anyway so we would have refused it. One minor detail is when the waiter brought our correct water, he didn't bring coasters even though the other cups on our table had one. All in all that would never be enough for me to rate this bar anything less than 5 stars and I will keep returning.
Tucked away in London, where cobbled streets and whispered secrets meet, lies Manetta’s Bar. You know the type. One of those subterranean jewels you have to “accidentally discover,” as though stumbling across Narnia through the back of a wardrobe. No natural sunlight, of course. Carpet so thick you immediately reassess your own home’s threadbare offerings. The sort of lighting that’s more about shadow and suggestion than illumination—pure mystery, darling. The décor? Richer than a Russian oligarch’s yacht. Dark wood, leather, and colours so sultry they’d make Farrow & Ball’s deepest hues blush. You’ll find yourself scrolling their site mid-cocktail, wondering if “Manetta Noir” is an official shade yet. And the drinks? Oh, they come with ingredient lists that read like excerpts from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them—a splash of this, a tincture of that. By the end of it, you’re convinced you’re sipping a spell. But Manetta’s isn’t just about cocktails. It’s an experience, an atmosphere. The sort of place where you might find yourself in the company of a dazzling stranger, only to realise later she’s a spy sent to seduce and betray you. A scene straight from John le Carré, all whispers and danger and the faint scent of intrigue. Magical doesn’t quite cut it. You should go. Dress well, stay late, and imagine yourself the star of a novel. The drinks? Oh, they’re excellent, but that’s hardly the point, is it?
Came here for an anniversary drink and the staff, ambience, drinks and cheese board were brilliant. Will definitely come back.
Amazing drinks and wonderful service. Good idea to make a reservation.
Ergys treated us like family, royal family. Good wines, good olives, excellent company.
Great service, definitely some of the best whiskeys you’ll find in the area. Also the snacks are pretty good.
Had a fantastic night at the Manetta’s Bar. Special shoutout to Ergys, Marco and Alesandro for making the experience above and beyond. Highly recommend coming here for a chill night with friends!
Beautiful bar, such a lovely ambience for a pre-drink or date even. Loved the velvet furniture and plush decor. You're looking at cocktails at £ 15-17 each, but so nice on a special occasion to do and they all made really well, delicious :)) would definitely recommend this place !!!
We each had 4 or 5 of the cocktails with some bar snacks. All of the drinks were excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. Very comfortable seating and fairly subdued lighting make for a cosy atmosphere. We were sat under an AC vent which was a bit chilly but they happily turned it down a bit for us. Overall, great.
Wood panelled traditional style cocktail bar in Flemings Hotel. Some of the best service (with a smile) we've had in London for a long time. Really impressed. Great cocktails too.
Went for a drink and a few snacks. The cocktails are very well made and the food is delicious. Service with a smile and very lush decor. One of the best of the area for a romantic drink.
Very nice and lovely atmosphere at the bar. Cocktails were amazing and the service was impeccable. Thank you to the barman to make us feeling at home. Definitely will come back!
Excellent service and drinks from both Ergys and Mattia. True gents, and they make a fantastic Vieux Carré. I will be back soon for sure.
It is not often that I visit a bar and I am impressed. I dare saying that Manetta's is "the hidden gem of Mayfair". The cocktails have personality, as do the stuff, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Special mention to Pascal for the top end service, we had a brilliant evening and we will be back very soon.
Absolutely amazed to find this place hidden away in the basement of a hotel in Mayfair. The cocktails were, as people have mentioned, exceptional - Their signature cocktail, made with Plantation Rum, will go down as one of my favourite cocktails of all time - and I drink a lot of cocktails. Can't recommend this place enough. It's ultra-fancy, but unpretentious.
Best cocktails and professional bar staff ! Try the FINNEGAS WAKE !! Amazing with Gin, cucimber ... a miracle by Pasquale the barman !!! Came here for our anniversary and my fiancé was impressed. Italian Pasquale barman made our evening memorable. Very professional barman ! Best cocktail he created (That barman is a genius and a gentleman ). Nice ambiance...Excellent cocktail menu... would go anytime just to say hello to Pasquale and try the new cocktail....also a short walk from Green park station.
Intimate little bar off the beaten track in Mayfair. The cocktail menu offers a long list of originals but don't be afraid to go for classics. I really like their Negronis and they do a mean Aviation. They're quite generous with their bar snacks (recently it's been olives, almonds and chorizo) but if you're particularly peckish their charcuterie plate is great value. A really good venue for a couple of drinks after work before you head home or to one of the many nearby restaurants
Good cocktail, atmosphere and service! Green Negroni contains midori liqueur (melon flavoured liquer) but it was not as sweet as expected in a positove way - subtle sweetness with classic negroni's bitterness. Other cocktail was also nice too. Would love to come back here to try other negronis.
First time visit with my wife. Lovely downstairs comfortable & stylish bar. Gréât Cocktails & friendly/ warm service. Will definitely return!
Cocktail: 3/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Comfort: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Nice underground bar with a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Great place to have a conversation or date. Bartender was professional. I do feel that the cocktails can be improved, it’s too light (Low ml?) and stirring time was too short for my boulevardier. Overall a great bar.
Great Martinis and service.. A nice quiet place for a drink.
Had an impromptu drink here last night. It was very quiet but service was friendly and the complimentary nuts and olives were a nice touch. We ordered a couple of Negroni’s which I’m convinced were pre-mixed because they arrived too quickly and I didn’t see or hear any stirring! They weren’t great…probably wouldn’t return..
