Naroon is simply extraordinary. I visited with my girlfriend and it was one of those rare dining experiences that stays with you long after you leave. The staff are exceptional: warm, funny, attentive and brilliantly good-humoured. You don’t just feel served here, you feel genuinely looked after. The food is outstanding. The koobideh kebab is on another level, the lentil soup is rich and comforting, and the saffron ice cream is pure nostalgia in a bowl. The chai with real crystal sugar is the perfect finishing touch. Naroon has soul, real soul, the kind that feels like stepping into Tehran before the revolution: generous hospitality, deep warmth, and a sense of culture and memory in every detail. This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a celebration of food, spirit and human connection. We left smiling, grateful, and already planning our return. Thank you. سپاسگزارم

amazing experience! Everything was fabulous — the food, the ambiance, and especially the staff, including several Iranian team members. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for their exceptional hospitality. As Iranians, we truly enjoyed the warm welcome from the restaurant manager. The clientele was very diverse, with many foreigners, not only Iranians. In some places, we don’t always feel welcome, but here we felt completely at home. It is only natural to see Iranians shine and succeed 😉

Incredible experience!! Everything has been a 10/10, food, service and drinks. Specially the 2 person mixed grill, baklava dessert and the shabarti. Definitely the best way of experiencing this kind of Persian food in London. We’ll come back for sure in our next visit to London.

Naroon in Marylebone is a true Persian gem. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or a special dinner. We started with the house hummus, followed by the mixed grill for two: a wonderful selection of shishlik, jujeh, and koobideh kebabs, served with fragrant saffron rice. Each element was cooked to perfection, full of authentic flavour, and beautifully presented. To finish, we indulged in the baklava ice cream, which was absolutely delicious and a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Naroon to anyone in London looking for authentic Persian cuisine, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, and we are already looking forward to returning on our next visit to the city.

Really enjoyed the food here. Everything was cooked well. Good variety on the menu and different flavours. Loved all the dips with the fresh flatbread. My favourite dip was the Mirza Ghasemi. Grilled items were very tasty too, the meat was moist and juicy. Absolutely loved the Persian rice dish - Tahchin. Baklava for dessert was tasty too and a big portion. Prices were reasonable to begin with, but was a bargain with 50% off from booking via TheFork. I’d happily eat here again.

I had the most wonderful Persian breakfast at Naroon in Marylebone. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the menu is full of dishes that feel both comforting and unique. The absolute highlight for me were the Persian pancakes — unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. They were light, fragrant, and beautifully balanced in flavour, easily the best pancakes I’ve ever had. It’s rare to find something so distinctive and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start their day with a breakfast that’s a little different but truly exceptional.

I came here with my wife as our first stop in London given the excellent reviews - and I must say we agreed. We got mast-o-mousir with taftoon bread, which hit the spot amazingly, zeytun which was little bit on a sweet note, followed by a Vaziri kabab with jujeh torsh and a Soltani - both of which were excellent. The only comment I would make is the jujeh torsh was slightly dry, otherwise neither of us could complain. The highlight of the experience, however, was our server Somayeh, who was just lovely and very accommodating when it came to our meal. All in all, would come back here again!

My partner and I went on Valentine’s Day for dinner so our experience was lovely given how busy the restaurant was. The staff were so accommodating and always made us felt like our requests weren’t a bother. The food was amazing but the staff topped it off. I can see why it is so highly rated. I would come here again!

One of the best Persian restaurants in London, tiny but great food. The kebabs are flavorful, rice perfectly cooked with beautiful saffron and berry flavors. I can not miss this one!

Very beautiful views sitting outside in Marylebone. The waiter also helped us with our order so we had the Aubergine dishes. Amazing! When ordering main dishes she also recommended a great dish and when the food arrived brought out a taster of the other dish we wanted to order. All in all a great restaurant ! Will come again

I visited Naroon in Marylebone for brunch and was genuinely impressed. The food was not only beautifully presented but also packed with unique and memorable flavours. Persian herbs, fragrant spices, rosewater, and nuts featured throughout the dishes in a way that felt both authentic and inventive — a real treat for the senses. Every bite offered a balance of richness and freshness, with subtle floral notes and warm, earthy undertones. The ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the menu had a thoughtful variety. The highlight for me was the Persian tea– delicate, aromatic, and the perfect complement to the meal. It was served traditionally and felt like a ritual in itself. If you're looking for a brunch spot that stands out from the usual offerings, Naroon is well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back.

Everything about this place was just so perfect. It honestly took me back to Tehran. You have to try Kashk-e Bademjoon and koobideh!!! Saffron ice cream was also incredible. Maya was super sweet and helpful, what a great night out!

The food and service were 10/10. We celebrated our friend’s birthday and the staff were kind enough to accommodate all our requests, including the seating and the lentil soup. Moniy had also offered to get us a brownie with a candle on it, to which we did at the end. The portion sizes were huge and we really enjoyed our dinner here - would highly recommend!

This is a great restaurant that serves delicious Iranian cuisine. The flavors are authentic and beautifully prepared. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely charming, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try real Iranian food in a warm atmosphere.

The chicken in the kebab was lovely and super tender. Rice was super good. Lamb was just okay and definitely had better. A table was available straight away in the evening. Would definitely go back again and recommend if you're in the area

Truly excellent Persian food — we absolutely loved it here! It was so nice to drop in on a Friday evening slightly past peak hours and be seated as a walk in. The staff was so friendly and kind, and the food and drinks were beyond — better than Berenjak / Pardis / Diba in my humble opinion! :) We ordered the Fesanjoon and medium Koobideh plate along with the Kashk Bademjan, Kuku, and dessert. Everything was delicious— will be coming back as frequently as I can!

What a fantastic find! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, with little touches that make you feel like you’ve stepped into someone’s home rather than just a restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious , full of flavour, fresh, and clearly made with care. The saffron rice was light and fragrant, the kebabs were juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh bread was still warm when it reached the table. Every bite reminded me why I love Persian cuisine so much. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to share recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Iranian food in London.

We had a fab lunch here! The waitress Somayeh was very sweet and helpful to help us pick the right dishes and her recommendations were top notch!!! We had kashke bademjan, tahchin and this amazing chicken dish with Safran and pomegranate and it was so delicious!!

Our experience at Naroon was certainly memorable! We used TheFork to get 50% off, so the overall price went down considerably. In terms of the food, we decided to start with a dip platter, which was really good and very suitable for large groups. For my main dish, I decided to share a Barg, Jujeh, and Koobideh platter with someone. The meat was absolutely delicious and very tender, it was very enjoyable! The rice portions are very generous as well. The baklava, although small, was very tasty, and we also got invited to a small dessert - a nice detail from Naroon. Staff were also very kind and attentive, would definitely recommend this place!

I’m a huge fan of Berenjak but they’re always fully booked but now I don’t need to worry because I’ve found this Persian restaurant which is just as good if not better! The starters and kebabs at Naroon are excellent and prices are extremely reasonable by central London standards. We were a table of 5 and ordered the incredible and perfectly cooked mix grill for four. We also added the grilled sea bass (our least favorite dish because the fish was overcooked and dry) and an incredibly succulent melt in your mouth lamb shank. The service was on point too and special thanks to Ashr for looking after us and making it an extremely enjoyable night out for our table. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend it!

Really good Persian food. The restaurant got really busy quickly which shows the popularity. The food quality and portions justify the price. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

I have heard about this place a lot and now finally had a chance to try it. Hands down it is now my favourite Persian restaurant. Ambience is great! Music is not loud allowing you to speak. Great selection of food. Portions are decent. I would recommend you sharing main dishes. You will not go wrong with any grilled dish. Simply worth trying everything. As for starters we tried hummus and aubergines (top choice!!!) Definitely leave some room for baklava with tea or Turkish coffee. Definitely coming back

Delicious, delicious, delicious! Stopped in for breakfast/brunch and couldn’t have been more delighted that we did! Taftan & Sweetcorn Fritters, both perfectly cooked and full of flavours. Washed down with cracking Bloody Marys in the sunshine! Attentive service from a genuinely lovely lady. Highly recommended!

Food as always absolutely delicious, well seasoned, fresh ingredients. The meat is my favourite and the aubergine dip is to die for. Every time I come, it never disappoints. The service was really nice and professional. The homemade saffron, rose and pistachio ice cream is a must try!! Wow, so delicious we ordered twice. Highly highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Naroon highly enough—not just for their incredible food, but for the genuine humanity and kindness of their staff. Recently, I visited with my wife and three friends. During our meal, one of our friends fainted due to exhaustion. The team at Naroon stepped in immediately and was absolutely tremendous. They helped us call an ambulance, arranged a taxi, and handled a stressful situation with such grace and care. They even packed up our food and gave us a 50% discount without us even asking. The real magic happened when we returned after our friend recovered. Even though we just expected to eat our leftovers, the staff insisted on cooking everything again from scratch to ensure we had a fresh, hot meal. The Food: Beyond the world-class service, the food is authentic and delicious. • Bamya: Perfectly seasoned and tender. • Fesenjoon: Rich, tangy, and deeply flavorful—easily some of the best we’ve ever had. Naroon is a gem. They started as a restaurant we liked and ended up being a place we truly love. Thank you for taking such good care of us! Long live the Persians ❤️ Their culture and their food.

I had 3 nights in London for work and spent all of them at Naroon. Two at the other location and one here (no specific preference just one was closer to work). As a Persian I have high expectations for Persian food and this can tell you how great the food was at this place. Overall I tried Jooje. Fesenjoon, gheimeh bademjoon, mast o khiar, the pomegranate drink, the ice cream and tea. All was great. The service was warm. It gets very busy so make a reservation

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Naroon Marylebone. The food was genuinely excellent, everything we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully cooked. Every dish was spot on and our whole group really enjoyed it. We came to celebrate my birthday, and the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff went above and beyond by bringing out a complimentary birthday cake, which made the night feel extra special and memorable. My friends had such a great time and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming throughout. A special thank you to Sam, who was incredible from start to finish. From helping with the reservation to her outstanding hospitality on the night (and the lovely surprise cake!), she was so kind, attentive, and professional. She truly made the experience exceptional. Highly recommended, amazing food, wonderful service, and the perfect place for celebrations. We’ll definitely be back!

‏I highly recommend this restaurant as one of my best dining experiences in England. The food was exceptional, with perfect cooking and high-quality ingredients. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The first thing that catches your attention is the beautiful interior design, followed by the delicacy of the dishes and the well-balanced mix of ingredients and spices, creating a truly harmonious and memorable flavor.

Booked the place on Valentine’s, When we got there, there were Some issues with their booking and payment systems so they asked us to wait for 15 20 minutes. They managed to fix the problems swiftly and we got seated despite the place being super busy and crowded. We got the set menu and other than the food, the service and the staff were great even though they were operating at full capacity Big thanks to the naroon team for the experience

Came here for breakfast today and had a really nice experience. Somayeh served me and she was genuinely kind, respectful, and full of positive energy. She was friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. Her attitude honestly made the whole breakfast better. I’d definitely recommend this place and will for sure be coming back.

We met up here with old friends after a long time and enjoyed a Persian dinner together. The restaurant had a cozy, pleasant atmosphere. We ordered the soltani kebab, which was nicely tender, and the tahdig was flavorful with a good saffron aroma. My friends had khoresh bamieh and joojeh torsh (sour grilled chicken), which looked great, though I didn’t try them myself. The music selection was good, even if it felt a bit random at times.

Wonderful Persian food. The best Persian tea I’ve ever had in my life (And I’ve had a lot). Somayeh gave excellent service and even replaced a chicken dish to meet our preference. Lots of gluten-free options also. Fantastic restaurant!

We had a lovely experience at Naroon — the food was delicious and the service was truly amazing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Every dish was full of authentic Persian flavour, beautifully presented and generously portioned. The only downside was the lack of air circulation where we were seated. It would have been much more comfortable if there was air conditioning or at least better airflow, especially on a warm day. Overall, a great place for Persian cuisine with top-notch service — just be mindful of where you’re seated during hotter weather!

The best ghormeh sabzi and joojeh torsh on this side of the world, truly delicious. But if you’re coming for that warm, familiar Iranian hospitality… there’s none of that here! Everyone felt on edge including the clientele. Host dude was either on something or lacked major social skills. The ambiance feels a little tired, so I wouldn’t pick it for a special-occasion celebration. Reservations were super easy to make! Bastani was ok. Just don’t expect anyone to call you azizam while they serve it! Couldn’t get out of there fast enough, but also couldn’t stop eating, weird balance.

Nice Persian spot in Marylebone. The meat in the mixed grill was succulent and tender, though it could have used a bit more seasoning. Starters and fresh bread were delicious, and the service was friendly. Indoor seating is a little tight, but overall it’s a pleasant place to visit

A
Arezo Torang

We ordered the Jooje-torsh and koobideh. The rice was smoky and tasty. I really liked the Jooje-torsh, though some parts seemed a bit undercooked to me. The koobideh was good, but not outstanding. The place was very crowded with a lot of people coming and going, which was a bit overwhelming. The staff were friendly.

Honestly one of the best Persian restaurants I have ever been to. The staff was so welcoming and nice, it felt like I was among family. And the food. Omg.....the food was mouth watering. The location is very cozy and warm to which adds to over all vibe of the restaurant. Thank you Naroon for such an amazing dining experience!!!

The food was not that much delicious it was something that will just make me full, the portions are big and good but the food was anything. When I entered I was welcomed by a warm welcome and sat down, then we ordered food and got served the appetizers and our drinks. They took a bit of time until we got our main course, if you would order your main course without any appetizers you would get your food straight away. But then I called the waiter and after asking for the food they brought it for us. The table was so small and the place and packed by tables, although the restaurant wasn’t full but the place was of tables. The food was overpriced and doesn’t deserve a second try.

Went to Naroon in Marylebone with a group of five, and while the food had some highlights, the night felt a bit hit and miss. The Koobideh and Joojeh were excellent — tender, juicy, and honestly the only reason I’d go back. The rice, though? Clumpy and bland, crying out for a knob of butter. And serving warm bottled water at these prices felt like an insult — I was half-expecting it to be chilled, maybe even sparkling straight from the Alps. Starters were solid, good portions, but the overall service felt rushed — not what you want when you’ve just spent a fair bit. Bottom line: Naroon has the talent for great food, but the details (and the hospitality) need to catch up with the price tag.

B
Baraa Debs

The chicken was nice and juicy. The rice was a bit overcooked and mushy. One of the breads was very hard and stale, probably old? The dips were okay, nothing special. Good portions but overpriced imo. Don’t think would come back.

M
MARLENE LOPEZ

Calm restaurant with quiet big main dishes. 50% off with thefork app! £180 for 6 ….quite cheap for London as we have wine and cocktails. Mine were Lamb with white and yellow rice that was plenty for two. Lamb really flavored and smooth. I try a bit of others and all was positive reviews. Humus was good, the pita bread was over cook, the tea was really nice with special sugar. The coffee was quite awful and I heard some restaurant are using Australian coffee that is not my favorite.
