One of the only few restaurants around here that serves good Indian food. One problem with this restaurant is that they are not consistent. I had great biryani once and the very next week when I came back, the same biryani was not so good.

We have been ordering paneer biryani from Paradise for many years. Its not close by we drove 40 minutes for the biryani. I am not sure what changed recently.The paneer biryani we ordered today was subpar. Part of the biryani had dried masala, rest of the masala was gravy. It didnt taste fresh and we didnt enjoy it. It was a very disappointing experience.

I specially requested for double masala which I didn’t get it. It’s colorful dry rice, it’s not like before anymore and still we got go there only because of availability. We miss Grand Bawarchi😣

I went for lunch as I had a craving for butter chicken that just would not be denied. First, they did not offer any lunch specials ... which I thought was a bit odd, but I didn't allow that to deter me. I ordered butter chicken at a little less than $16 ... I was then informed that it did not come with Naan or rice or anything ... so I asked for plain white rice and a glass of water. The water was served at room temperature (which i also didnt like). When the food was delivered, I noticed the butter chicken seemed to be a small portion for the price ... but I was still so excited to try. So I took a bite ... and it was okay ... not anything spectacular. I was actually more impressed with the plain white rice. Don't get me wrong ... it was fine ... but the taste did not justify the cost. Once I got the check ... and saw that the plain white rice cost an additional $3.50, I knew I probably wouldn't be back.

I bought 2 goat biryani.While serving the biryani first I thought by mistake I ordered only rice biriyani and half egg. But no I ordered goat biryani and there were only 3 or 4 small pieces. You can see it in the pic. Quantity was good but quality was not.

You order a Chicken Biryani and basically what you get is plain rice + chicken piece and the pathetic response when you call is this is how Biryani is done.

I ordered mutton biryani, chicken biryani, a curry & a starter with Naan. The stater and curry were ok. But biryanis mutton & chicken were the worst ever. I went with the name paradise expecting the quality. While paying the bill I informed same thing to the cashier & his response was we ‘will have the same thing every afternoon it was good’. Bro! I paid 93$ for my food today and you eat for free everyday in your restaurant there is a difference!! for all the looking for a good food .. DONT EVER TRY ANY BIRYANI HERE.

First the appitizer were too Salty , they replaced it , and for the chetenad chicken , it was aweful, we too a spoon and left it , the gravy was old and smelling bad .

The AC is never working in this place. Throughout this summer whenever I went there to dine in it was always hot. These people are not concerned about customer satisfaction at all. The whole ambiance is very off putting. When I complained about the place that it’s very hot, the staff said the “fan is broken”, it’s the owner’s responsibility to repair/purchase a new fan rather than having the staff give reasons. This is pure incompetence on businesses owners part.

They gave me room temperature water in 90% degree weather lol. I had to beg for ice. Ordered chicken tikka masala & it was the worse!! Chicken was burnt & had zero flavor which is totally unexpected from an Indian restaurant. The replacement was just a tad bit flavorful & tastier. Sad I’m having to beg for flavor. Also, Not once did the server check on me! Not once! Last, overly I felt like I was sitting in an oven. It was so hot. Can’t imagine the AC was running.

Extremely disappointed with the order - we ordered two Goat Biriyani for pick up from Paradise Canoga Park outlet. We only received few very small 3-4 pieces like in the picture - it’s looks like they forgot to give the actual pieces instead only gave rice biriyani!! I used to be a big fan so Drove 1 hour from Thousand Oaks to pick up this order and in return we got this service - sad and disappointed! May this was my last visit. Sharing the story so that you all can aviod similar experiences in future..
