Owner is an accomplished barista with some awards under his belt. Staff is courteous and also know their craft. The beans are custom roasted and the coffee is excellent. The various pastries and muffins are all made daily. The gluten free muffins are amazing and light as a feather. Highly reccomend

Took my little one here for his first hot chocolate, they were friendly even in the midst of a crazy holiday rush and made us the most delicious coffee shop hot chocolate (with real melted chocolate) I’ve ever had at a coffee shop at perfect kid temp.

This is the best little coffee shop nuzzled in the corner of Los Osos. The coffee is fantabulous, and they have gluten free options on the menu that are amazingly delishious! I can appreciate that what they have to offer is organic and that they make their own almond milk, what's not to love! The service is very friendly and the vibe of this place is just spectacular. The photography on the walls were a plus and just beautiful! Whom ever this photographer is, I like what you have to offer! If you are in Los Osos and you have a chance to stop by, I would highly recommend this quent little place. It's not just another coffee shop!

I made a quick stop passing by. Easy to find parking in the lot on a Monday- not sure what the weekends look like. I appreciate the house brewed chai and house made almond milk! Such a nice treat and peace of mind knowing these ingredients aren't just coming from a box!

This shop is legit. A little quiet since there was no music playing, but I enjoyed the vibe of the store, the espresso was good, the drip was good, and the bread pudding was BOMB. The folks running the shop were very nice and not over zealous about what they had to offer, which is very nice. Thanks for the good experience, Los Osos is a better place for you being there.

This was such a chill coffee shop. I was helped by Christiana (sorry if I’m butchering your spelling) and she was so sweet, cheerful and chatty. Definitely made the experience better. I was headed out for a road trip back to Phoenix and needed a pickmeup. I ordered the new matcha latte, iced with two shots. It was a little weird I’m sure from the coffee but I loved the matcha, it was perfect. Anyway, Christiana deserves a raise, and I wish all the employees at the coffee shops I visit were as friendly as her.

Amazing coffee!!! - the baristas are artisans of the craft of coffee. The best coffee house in San Luis Obispo - 2 locations, one in Los Osos and one in downtown SLO. Pastries are amazing with gluten-free & vegan options. For this house it's all about the art of coffee and they do it phenomenally well!

I never leave reviews, but if you find yourself in Los Osos, you must stop here! Their lattes and matcha with their housemade almond milk totally knocked my socks off. Probably some of the best I’ve had in California.

Fantastic house-roasted beans with a regularly changing array of single origin - I love their pourovers! Lattes are also solid, and the in-house baked goods are yummy.

I am not impressed by "organic" whatevers but I do enjoy the hand made work that is usually associated with it. This place really nails it. The coffee was made with care, in real cups, the cinnamon coffee cake is just like my mother's recipe and it is always nice to see a place with a selection of board games.

The staff was very friendly and very patient with a customer ahead of me that was kind of a “Karen”! Thank you for making my visit to Los Osos that much better. Great roast too. I took home a bag of Mexico with me and love it.

The changes in the past few months have been interested as it's clear ownership is trying to make some money saving changes. Please know that during the closure the community has missed the staff and their positivity!

I LOVE this coffee shop! My favorite thing about it is the fact that pretty much everything on the menu is organic, including the coffee & milk. They also make their own syrups in house, which are so delicious! I tried the vanilla bean today and it was so good (I highly recommend an almond milk latte with the vanilla bean syrup-so creamy and yummy! And they also make their own almond milk in house!). You can just tell they put in the extra effort to make quality drinks & food, which I super appreciate. The staff is also always really friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Highly recommend! 👍

I also ordered a piece of the Quiche and shared the Spinach Brownie with a friend. They were both exceptional but the Spinach Brownie was to die for!

Ascendo has just opened their Los Osos location in the last month and it is a long-needed addition to this town. The coffee is very very good. That should be enough to encourage you to skip the corporate alternative. In addition to the super high-quality coffee, there are very tasty and fresh bakery items. The owners have put tons of work into the space making it beautiful, open, and inviting. The coffee bar is a practically a piece of art. The space is super clean and kid friendly. Stop in and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and fantastic service. Support local business!

Had an amazing encounter with the manager who rang me up for the amazing gluten free muffins (this person with celiac really appreciates having homemade muffins that are both delicious and don't make me sick!)...I shared that the coffee I had wasn't that great. He insisted on offering me a free espresso beverage to make it right, and re-made the drink twice to make sure it was as perfect as could be. Thanks, Ed! Well done! :)

Service is really slow but friendly. They ha e outstanding loose tea. The environment is laid back and comfortable. Prices are reasonable. I look forward ti going back!

Pretty busy and loud, but that is to expect on a somewhat rainy day as I am sure a good amount of the business was from people who were keeping dry didn't want to sit outside at Nautical Bean.

The coffee is great, the customer service is consistently good, and most of the baked goods are well done. Best coffeehouse in Osos.

A great coffee shop where you are served by the owners. High end feel along with all of your standard coffee shop selections. Free WiFi. SLO location functions as a local gathering spot for students and groups. Los Osos location is great for pulling out the laptop and completing your first novel.

Staff nice gets busy there . Chai tea was good, but it was mostly foam . Noticeably lighter than wife's drink . My wife's drink delicious.

The medium mocha was good. The chocolate sweet. The coffee above average. I think the price didn’t match the quality. $6.25 for medium mocha seemed a bit much. Be try kind customer service. Good attitude, clean shop.

Nice folks but the coffee was just so-so. Not many options on the pour over menu, and my Guatemalan pour over was bright, very acidic, and lacking in flavor.

I asked the gentlemen if their Wi-Fi was working and had a good speed, and they assured me it was. After getting my drink and connecting to the Wi-Fi, I found it so slow that I couldn't even read my email. Now I understand why their coffee shop is empty while others have lines outside. I hope the owner or manager takes note of this

Closed early @2pm Sunday, but no sign or hours posted. website says open til 5. Called before we went to make sure they were open, but there'svonly a msg to email them. Coffee, tea and service have been good in the past but it doesn't feel like they care about repeat, local customers
