Croissant loaf was unreal. Entrees- short rib wagyu picanha- were 10/10. Levi was a great server. Attentive, funny, and great service

Although Alan had other tables, he made me feel that I was his most important, although I know that I certainly wasn’t. He helped me with questions and was a top of the line server.

Perfect date night spot in Downtown Louisville! My wife and I had an incredible dinner here and can’t stop talking about it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of energy and intimacy — exactly what you want for a night out downtown. I had the ribeye with truffle butter, which was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor. The broccolini, croissant loaf, and tuna tartare were all top-notch. My wife ordered the filet with truffle butter and the twice-baked potato, and she was obsessed. We finished with the double chocolate mousse, and it was the perfect ending. Service was spot-on — attentive without hovering — and the pacing of the meal was just right. As the night went on, the place filled up and had that great “Friday night in Louisville” buzz, but never felt loud or chaotic. If you’re looking for a new favorite for special occasions, date nights, or just a next-level dining experience in Louisville, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

Levi our server was so respectful and responsive when we needed anything during our experience at steak Bourne Bourne. The East coast raw oysters were amazing and our steaks were perfectly cooked medium rare. They even sliced our steaks for us. Can’t recommend this place enough. P.S. espresso martinis are so good here

Always perfect. Beautiful and elegant setting in a great location downtown. Brian has treated my 13 year old son like a king each time. This is by far our favorite steakhouse.

Celebrated a birthday with a group of 10 Saturday night. The service is fantastic! Was greeted by concierge when I arrived. Seated immediately. The decor is amazing! So beautiful. Love open kitchen! Robbie, our server is top notch! 5 ⭐️! He suggested all the right menu items. I had the short rib entree! It was so tender, so delicious! The escargot was the best I’ve ever eaten. I tasted my friends salmon and was totally blown away! Like butta’! Did I say Robbie was the best! This restaurant has elevated the dining experience in Louisville!

Came here for Valentines day dinner. The food was more amazing than we could’ve imagined, definitely will visit again ! Our server Andrew was very knowledgable on all of the dishes and had an amazing attention to detail throughout our entire meal. Overall amazing atmosphere with superb service.

Came for Valentine’s Day and our first time here it was amazing!! We had Edwen as our server and he was the sweetest. Food and cocktails were incredible. We will absolutely be back.

Absolutely unexpected delight - we made a spontaneous decision to meet friends for dinner here and it was simply divine! Our server Jen was fantastic, charming, and helpful with tips on what her fave foods were and suggestions. Food was DELICIOUS. Definitely would recommend and can’t wait to return!

Our server Emily was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose between different drink and food options. She checked up on us just the right amount of times and was super sweet! The oysters and lobster topper were my favorites.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. Incredible service, the most delicious food (croissant loaf, lamb meatballs, filet—WOW—apple spice cake and cookies. I can’t say enough. I highly recommend the Lalo marg- incredibly smooth and delicious. We had the best night. Major props to Robbie, our server; we had the absolute best time. We can’t wait to come back!

From the very beginning, our experience was phenomenal! Parking was easy, finding the restaurant was easy, and then being seated… we got the best seat in the house. Lalaloved that we chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary! We got a champagne toast (excellent champagne by the way!), a great seat next to so much art, and my boyfriend said it was the best steak he’s had (mind you, we’ve gone to so many well known restaurants to try their steaks). I got the short rib plate (that’s just me, this is my goto just because I love me a good short rib) and he got the the wagyu fischers ribeye 14oz. Beautifully presented. Oh, and let’s not forget the smoked old fashion and my custom margarita. Everything was delightful. Our waiter, Sebastian, was super knowledgeable in the industry and the steaks. We loved his recommendations and his entire verse on every single plate. We’d definitely come back with friends to celebrate here. The prices were extremely reasonable for the caliber of meal AND SERVice We got. Chefs kiss to you all!

What an amazing experience! We had Robbie as our server and I can definitely say the hospitality was top notch. We had a very detailed and informative start of the menu. When leaving to the restroom, we can back with our napkins folded perfectly. Our drinks never ran dry. We talked and laughed as we knew each other forever! I’m pleased with such a professional and personable experience with Robbie. We started with the croissant loaf and shrimp cocktail. These are 2 menu items you have to try. Best shrimp cocktail I’ve had…and I live on the east coast. The croissant was a memorable appetizer that I suddenly need to find a recipe for. The Maison salad was incredible and very fresh. The filet with truffle butter was incredible. The creamed spinach made me go in for seconds. The Brussel sprouts were good but I wouldn’t order again. The lobster Mac and cheese was a miss. Odd aftertaste. We ended the meal with sticky toffee pudding and a nice celebration cheesecake for a birthday. Sticky toffee pudding was good. The cheesecake the was star! Definitely will be coming here instead of Jeff ruby's when I return to Louisville.

Jenn is amazing! My husband and I are celebrating our 32 year anniversary and she made it so much better! So thoughtful, kind and informative. We really enjoyed her service. The restaurant and food is amazing! Definitely a 5 star review!

We loved our server Edwin! The tuna dish was the best I have ever eaten. They serve a fantastic old fashioned! Cheesecake for birthday dessert was also among the best I have eaten. Atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!!!

Har you ever been in a place that makes you wanna kill yourself? Well, This place was nothing like that. All I wanted to do when being here was live even harder. So hard, I wanted to explode, but not die. You know? Anyway, the food smacked as hard as WWE smack down back when Dwayne, yeah, Dwayne The Rock Johnson was smacking people silly. This menus will make you want to take a chair the noggin, IN A GOOD WAY. Food so food you’d wanna get round housed kicked to be an MMA fighter. Don’t even get me started on the service. Bing Bam Bop! Drinks are flowing, food was cruzin. Levi, my boy, god bless him, best server in the game yall. Fastest in the biz. Look if you want a banging meal. Get at Bourre Bon. You won’t regret it. Unless you actually get hit with a chair by The Rock, then in that case my bad. Eat here.

The food, service, sommelier, and management were all EXCELLENT. This was the first time in awhile that I actually didn't feel bad about paying for 5 star service because we actually received value for it! Absolutely stellar experience!

We spent my birthday here and it was absolutely phenomenal! Ended up having dinner two nights in a row. First night I ordered the chicken and unfortunately it was dry and I did not eat it. Everything else was fantastic! The manager, TONY, came to speak with us about it and took it off our ticket. He was so kind! We told him we were coming back the next night so he made my entree free for the following night. Second night, we had ROBBIE as our server and he was absolutely amazing! Very thoughtful and checked on us regularly. Went above and beyond for my birthday! The steak was to die for, Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve had, crab legs were literally perfect and I have now made sure my husband knows to bring me back here every year!! Haha

Val was the best server! She gave us amazing recommendations and was very attentive to our table. We had the rib-eye and black Hawk waygu and they were both amazing ! Will for sure be coming back when we visit Louisville again :)

Alan was great with his suggestions! We had the bonemarrow escargot and the austrailian waygu with truffle butter roasted table side. Both were huge portions and delicious!

We had a delicious company Christmas party at the steak house restaurant! We were a party of 13 and sat further back in the restaurant with plenty of space and an option for privacy with a nice velvet curtain! Everyone truly enjoyed all appetizers that were chosen and everyone’s steaks were cooked to perfection! It’s very hard to choose favorites when it comes to the shareable sides all of them were exceptional. Overall lovely experience and we will be back!

What an incredible meal. Everything was flavorful including the cocktails. My husband and I shared a 14oz Riley. It was tender and melted in my mouth. Great seasoning and crust on the outside. We shared appetizers and sides among the table. Although it is expensive, it was worth every penny. A must try while in Louisville. Reservations highly recommended.

Val never disappoints. An incredible talent for caretaking, awesome knowledge of the menu, and loves the people. Cannot recommend Val, her colleague Madison who made phenomenal drinks, and her superlative teammates who cooks a great meal for my fiancée enough. Will definitely be back.

The dinner at Hotel Bourré Bonne in Louisville was outstanding. The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, with a warm, upscale vibe that felt perfect for a relaxed evening out. We had a lovely experience with our server, Brian. He was knowledgeable, personable and elevated our dining experience through his recommendations and superior service. Not to mention he was just a fun guy with a great personality. Chef Henry cooks a fabulous steak - the bone marrow and escargot were to die for! A great menu with options for all. Request Brian when you make your reservation and you won’t be disappointed in your meal!!

Ate here for the first time on January 31, 2026. We chose this restaurant because we’d heard good things about it and it’s a short walk from Actors Theater. Emily was our server and I will tell you now: ask to be seated in her section because she was wonderful! Smiling, friendly, answering all of our questions, checking in on us and just providing outstanding service. I had the Laguna Blanca Salmon and my friend had the 12-hour Bolognese. Both excellent dishe,s, and I think that salmon dish may actually be the best one in town: cooked perfectly with an amazing consommé that took the flavor to the next level. I will definitely be back for it! All in all, we had a wonderful experience. 10/10, Highly recommended!

Food was amazing. Robbie is the absolute best. He gave us the best recommendations and I would not want to come back and have any other server, he made the experience 100 times better!! Sebastian was also phenomenal and gave us the best drink recommendations. Would absolutely come back.

When you think high end steak house, this is the place. Great atmosphere. Amazing food! Superior service! Val was our server tonight. She sets the bar for impeccable experience. Very knowledgeable, very polite & graceful. All the staff worked together to make sure we never went without nor waited on anything. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary & it was so spectacular.

Everything about the experience was divine… we started off with appetizers before we had to head out, and both of them were amazing. I really recommend the brussels sprouts… Colin behind the bar was amazing and so was the bartender. Both delightful. We came back later in the day for dinner to another divine experience. I’ll probably stay at this hotel when I’m in town from now on just so I can have easy access to this restaurant, the dinner side of the restaurant really outdid themselves on the interior design. Everything about it is perfect and welcoming. The food of course is great but our waitress Ash was an absolute delight and completely fabulous And our waiter alan was also so helpful and made the night perfect. A perfect duo.
