Opinions de Laredo Taco Company Lubbock
The food is really good like somebody's grandma cooked it good, the margaritas were hitting good 🥴
This was such a neat place. Inside the 7Eleven. The tortillas are handmade and hearty. 1 taco and I was full. Coming back. There was only one person working, so it got slow, the line was long at lunchtime but worth the wait.
Read my original review below. So even though I didn't like it when I visited 2 years ago I was starving one morning and gave it another chance. Wow what an absolute difference! They've completely revamped the kitchen and the food and everything else. Fantastic! Tacos were spot on old school breakfast tacos, large, plenty of ingredients, well balanced. And all that in the $2-$3 range! They also have a salsa bar with four different very good salsas, cilantro, limes, jalapenos etc. I've been back twice now this week! 😅 So happy they fixed their issues from a couple of years ago, staff is now friendly, fast and competent. Previous review: This is for new location at Abrams/Park. Tacos were alright, nothing too special. Cheap. But the staff... Completely incompetent, disinterested and occasionally rude. 10 or so people, half standing around. Discussing quitting times and how much they don't want to be there in front of customers, etc. Replace them with well-trained dedicated employees and you might have something like 4 stars. Won't be back, WAY too many excellent taco shops for this to compete.
The breakfast tacos were awesome! My husband and I have never ate here before and just decided to check it out. We went at 7 in the morning on a Sunday, there was no line, the tortillas were fresh and they had plenty of vegetarian options! 10/10 would recommend

This is the ONLY place in DFW in 6 years I’ve lived here from San Antonio that has Carne Casada, Babacoa tacos cooked TEX MEX style. YES I said it TEX MEX from South Texas style. I drive 20 minutes from my home just to get them from here cause their food is cooked TEX MEX south Texas style. If you know what I’m talking about come here because their tacos are the best!!!
Mariona is such a sweetheart! She went above and beyond to help me. It’s obvious Mariona takes pride in her work. The level of professionalism and friendliness she displays at her job made my day. I tried the carne asada today and it was amazing! All the employees were great! Thanks ladies! ❤️

Laredo Taco Company at 1805 Sylvan Ave, | Hwy 30, Dallas, TX 75208 I came to this place with very low expectations, since it was connected to a gas 🏪 station but there's some of the biggest surprises 🤯 A lot of little selections in the food bar up front. So I basically ordered a chicken🐔 taco 🌮, beef 🐂taco, beef🐂 quesadilla and chicken🐔 quesadilla. I was sad 💙🥲because they didn't have burritos but trust me. Order the quesadilla and you'll get your burrito fixed in that away. In my opinion the food is restaurant quality food and the portion sizes were good for the price that you're paying. Service was quick and friendly and I was impressed. Trust me I had low expectations but I did feel like I was getting my money's worth 💸
The line was decent, went around 10:30a right before lunch I'm guessing. Food looked amazing on the line, and my neighborhood 7-Eleven right next door. Couldn't ask for more. Make Serving station for 2 people please. The server was very nice clean, and kept up with the line, it was just to many people. Overall 🔥

I tried the carne asada tacos, and while the meat was tender, it didn’t have the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The tortillas were soft, but the overall combination felt a little bland. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly, but the atmosphere felt more like a fast food spot than a sit-down restaurant.
I dine in and take out frequently from this location with varying results of happiness. The first time I ever ate at Laredo Taco everything was fresh, fantastic and delicious, and my most recent visit was a tragedy with all of the meats being overcooked dried out or just outright burnt but yet served anyways. With highs and lows in between my first and most recent visit leading up to this review I have to say I have strong mixed feelings about recommending Laredo taco so I will leave you with this, if you're on a budget, or need something quick and don't care about consistency of quality Laredo Taco is the place for you. however if you have the budget and time there are about 30 other places with standards within a short drive that will sort you out for your taco needs. As for me I will continue dining at Laredo Taco as they are a quick and cheap fix. Why three stars and not four: highly inconsistent with everything

Came here after raving about the food I've tried at other locations. It was the 1st visit for the people I brought with me and so many things went wrong. Menu monitors were down and there wasn't backup paper menus available. We missed breakfast cut-off. The ambient noise is loud and made communication exasperating. Just about every chair was wobbly. We had barbacoa and carnitas tacos. The barbacoa was 🤌🏼. The spicy carnitas were salty but good. Music being played was good.
Food was good…not sure why they are advertising buy one get one free..onlygot 3 of SIX burritos I was supposed to get on DoorDash. And now I can’t even get refunded..very disappointed. Not even any salsa to go either! Paid $18 for 3 burritos

I want to love this destination, I truly do. 7-Eleven is a Dallas grown success story, and they keep trying to keep up with the trends. But this Laredo Taco Company just doesn't work, no matter how many times they try to re-design it and take up all of the parking spaces. I love how they are on my route when I am taking my eBay sales to the post office, but every time there is an issue. Seriously? You are going to charge me the same for a 4 oz (yes, I checked) serving of cold, dry potatoes as you do for a bacon breakfast taco? The person who took my order must have been new, because she had no idea of what I ordered or what the heck that was. From now on, I will just order the fresh tortillas that are delicious, and take them home and make something much more edible.

What’s the point of ordering ahead if 30 minutes after you get to the restaurant you still don’t have your order?
This place is barely okay. We went at 6:45pm for dinner and there was no ground beef for Nachos, and no carne asada for tacos... the young lady behind the counter stated they shut down the grill and they aren't making more carne asada because the grill is already clean? Like really its not even 7pm you close at 10pm and you shut down the grill? Also, all the chairs are up on the tables like they don't care or want more business. Other than that like I said it was barely Okay.

This is my 3rd time trying this place and they are not good. Today I bought a quesadille and asked them to cut it and was told it couldn't be done. What the heck? It's even cut on the picture even though it looks like a freaking taco! Not enough cheese to even keep it stuck together like it should be! Strike 3 you're out! Never going back again too many negative experiences for 3 tries. Also, if you call the number no one answers and it let's you know the VM is not setup. They don't even have a professional phone setup!
I got 2 burritos delivered from here and they arrived with NOTHING except DRY carnitas. I cant imagine this is anything but intentional. If I could give this place NEGATIVE 5 stars I would. NEVER GO HERE.
spent $70 on breakfast burritos & Tacos. None of them came with any meat in them. None of them came with the requested Salsas. I legit got nothing but eggs, beans, and cheese in each burrito/ taco when that's not what I ordered. Currently awaiting refund from DoorDash.
I don’t like the service it say it’s open since 5 am I wait an hour cus the rude lady say it wasn’t open I ask what time u open is says 5 am she say I don’t care I’m not ready to serve you and she say get out.
This place is horrible. I’m originally from South Texas and loved seeing Laredo Taco Company coming up to Dallas area. This location is close to my home and I’ve tried to like it many times but it’s POORLY managed. The other two locations (off Park Lane and another off Walnut Hill) are so much better. This location needs an overhaul or to close down. I know so many others from South Texas that have said the same. I gave this location another chance today and severely disappointed. The place was trashy. Here are the problems with the store and also observed today. 1. Trashy location. There was an abandoned broom and trash just sitting by the salsa bar. Zero napkins at the salsa bar. Salsa bar was a mess and empty. 2. Untimely. There was a line of four people only and we were waiting over ten minutes to just be rung up for the small amount of tacos in the pic sitting on the line. 3. Heartless. Zero emotion whatsoever from the staff. Like they don’t want to be there. No “good morning”. No “hello, what can I get you”. Literally just blank stares like you’re a problem being there until you speak up and tell them what you want. 4. Today was my first ever experience with an undercooked tortilla. Literally still tough and raw when biting into it. Got up and asked for another tortilla because mine was undercooked. Given another tortilla but not asked if everything was ok or if they could fix it. I sat down and transferred my food from the raw tortilla to the newly cooked one. 5. Worst salsa bar ever. Not even the recipes from Laredo Taco Company. The red salsa which I’ve been eating since I was a young kid (over 25 years) is not at this location. Instead you have to settle for store bought pre packaged tasting chunky red salsa. Cilantro? Forget about it. Shredded lettuce? Not here. Pico? Don’t ask, since the only pico they had was on the floor by the broom left abandoned. Other salsas? Empty. 6. Empty line of food. Want options? Go elsewhere. Their line is always more than half empty. The other locations always have options galore. Here it’s a choice of settling for whatever they have. 7. Lifeless bodies. The several times I’ve been here there’s always several employees. At least 4-5 working a shift but not once is there any life in any of them. Goes back to point number three of seeming like you’re a bother for being there. Want to be ignored? Go to this location. I tried to love this place multiple times but this location is dead to me. I’ll be making the trip to the other two locations to get that back home nostalgia of what I know Laredo Taco Company should be. So disappointed that this location even exists.
Tortillas were warped and undercooked. It apparently takes 3 people to make tortillas. They had 4 staff members in the front but only 1 taking orders despite the huge line. It’s the longest I’ve ever waited in line for food on a Saturday. They need to train and manage their employees a lot better. There is no need for a person to strictly be on the “register” just printing out tickets for you to go to another register to pay. It’s extremely inefficient.
