Although the restaurant was very busy, our waitress was happy and efficient. In fact all the employees were cheerful, busy and quick. Love my Waffle House - all of them!!!

I walked into Waffle House the other night expecting the usual: sizzling hash browns, coffee strong enough to wake the dead, and the comforting aroma of grilled everything. What I didn’t expect was dinner and a show—served hot and fresh by the staff themselves. Right around the second refill of my iced tea, the host rounded the corner at Mach 3, presumably chasing down a rogue order of smothered and covered, only to nearly collide with a waitress doing a balancing act with three plates and a waffle in freefall. What should’ve been a disaster turned into pure magic: she ducked, he spun, and—without missing a beat—he finished with a pirouette so elegant I momentarily forgot we were between booths 9 and 10 and not front row at Cirque du Soleil. The timing? Impeccable. Just as the host landed his twirl, the jukebox (which I’m fairly certain is sentient) blasted Lil Jon’s first utterance in “Turn Down for What”. Everyone clapped. Someone may have shouted “encore.” One person definitely yelled "Yeah!" (And you know how). A child asked for gymnastics lessons. I felt feelings. So yes, the waffles were good—but the spontaneous floor routine? Legendary. Next time you’re near this Waffle House and think it’s just about the food… think again. You may just get dinner with a side of interpretive dance and synchronized syrup pouring. Five stars for pancakes—and pirouettes!

The waffle house in Mckinney, was an incredible experience. The team working together was entertaining and everyone appeared to be enjoying what they were doing. I'm sure these people don't know how special they are! Not only did we enjoy our meal, we left with a smile because we enjoyed their company.

Dante was on the grill and cooked us up a great dinner, asked us about our day, and made sure everything we ordered came out the way we wanted. Paula was a sweetheart and kept our drinks full and took good care of us. Waffle House in great in general, but this one in McKinney is top-notch.

You can always count on WH to have great service and great food. It's a small place, so bring lots of patience, tables open up relatively fast. It's worth waiting for.

Keith, the waiter and his cook were amazing and hilarious. My best friend and I came to Waffle House since today marks the 2 years her dad passed and it was his favorite place to go. We walked in there with high spirits and reminiscing of old stories about how much he loved Waffle House. We walked out with big smiles on our faces from how much our experience and expectations were succeeded. The food was amazing and the customer service was excellent. We will never forget this day. This place is impeccable! First off know the establishment you're visiting. Is this some fancy aesthetic brunch spot for you and your girls with all the vibes?....NO, but is this a place that feels like a little bit like family regular folk, people with good hearts, and people who want damn good food with flavor ABSOLUTELY!!!! The food is made with love, and yes lots of butter at times but again READ the room, if you want some low carb health conscious bland food do not come here! The service is quick, if you go during about the 10:30-12 pm time on the weekends be prepared to wait and sign up on the wait list there. Things move kind of rapid so it's not too bad even if your wait is 30 minutes. The staff was nice, welcoming and comical at times. The music selection ranges but it's definitely vibey from Alicia Keys, to pop back to debarge....if you don't know what to get, I recommend the AllStar it's a little bit of everything waffle (I like getting a pecan waffle), eggs, toast (I get cinnamon raisin), bacon or ham or sausage (they have chicken sausage) Hashbrowns or grits.... We got 2 AllStars and with the tip we left ($10) it came out to about $34 This place deserves higher ratings imo (*disclaimer, we only go during the day on Saturdays or Sundays) 5/5 rating

I am a frequent traveler and have been to many restaurants and by far on my 2 month trip traveling through different States I had the best service at this Waffle House from " Alexandra", She was very efficient and prompt in the food order and delivery. She was extremely friendly and polite. She slways made sure our coffee was filled and the table was clean, and always with a big smile a true value when serving anyone especially tired travellers !!!

We were lucky enough to walk in the same time as Easy Robbie! What a warm, welcoming, energetic guy! Very personable and attentive staff. Food was very fresh and tasty, unlike what you get anywhere else these days. Will definitely stop in again when we roll through.

I've always loved Waffle House, but had never been to this location. Got in, was greeted by the friendly staff. Got a seat, looked over the menu. Took a few minutes to order, but they were busy, which is totally understandable. Ordered (All Star Special), got my meal, and everything was perfect! Prices are always reasonable, and the food is always plentiful. Will definitely be making this my go to place for breakfast after work!

The staff here is nice and this Waffle House is cleaner then most of been to. My server Tiyana was nice. The cook Cameron was amazing. The first time I’ve soon someone happy to do their job and he also interacted with the customers on top of cooking up orders in a speedy manner. I had my food in less than 5 min and it was delicious. This is hands down the best Waffle House I’ve been to.

Update November 2025: I've added the new menu options available. Update 5 years later: I actually love going here with my boyfriend a couple times a month. Today however, it seemed as though the staff versus customer ratio was completely out of whack. Three cooks/servers, and a full house of customers made it really hard on staff. I felt bad, but we were still able to eat. I do think they need more employees here, as it seems to be a busy area, especially before the holidays. Today I got my usual, which was also very UNusual for the server. The cook even laughed, as I ordered a cheesesteak on a biscuit, stuffed with one sunny side up egg, and hashbrowns inside. It was AMAZING. I do sort of wish the cheese was melted some, but it's still by far the most delicious thing on the menu. (I've inserted a photo for you to try!) It's definitely not on the menu but needs to be. Douse it with a little Frank's Red Hot sauce and you'll be sent to the moon! The server today seemed tired and in her words "underpaid and underappreciated". I hate that for her, but unfortunately it won't change much saying it for the customers to hear. Overall the experience was still nice, considering I was enjoying it with my partner. We'll still come back every time. Also, if you like tea, I recommend theirs! A half and half with 3 coffee creamers is to die for! Thank me later! ________________________________________ Its cool they're open 2am, late at night after bar hopping. The ambience is very alive despite the darkness outside. The staff are pretty upbeat despite how late it is. A few were dancing to the speaker above their head. The food is decent, for a late night meal. Theres only a side of hash browns, tomatoes, or grits. No fries, no fried pickles, no onion rings. Nothing of the sort. Everything is strictly breakfast for every meal. The grilled chicken sandwich was awesome, and only 4 bucks. Elsewhere they'd charge 5 or 6. We're probably coming back again.

I sat at the bar with wife and son, and the entire staff was ultra friendly and made us felt like we have known them for years. Food was so great as well cooks were amazing. My wife just loves Waffle House. Scattered smothered and covered is her jam. She can eat that any day every day. Even though I have eaten at Waffle House for as far back as I can remember, I have grown to love it more and more thanks to my wife. Even though I like to give her a hard time about it, I do love it. We don’t have a lot of actual free time for just the two of us. And our seven year old is not exactly a traditional breakfast person. So we had the opportunity recently to visit this location for breakfast. As always, we were greeted with a smile by one of the wonderful workers. She said give me just a sec and I will get that table wiped down for you. She cleaned it, took our drink order, and gave us our menu. You can’t go wrong with the All Star Breakfast. Eggs over easy, toast, hash browns (covered, chunked and peppered), sausage, and waffle with pecans. BOOM!!! Heaven on a plate. The waitress checked on us frequently even though she had many tables. Kept our drinks full and made sure everything was golden. So I highly recommend the Waffle House and this location.

We came in on valentines to celebrate the holiday. When we sat down a gentleman named Keith told us our server would be right with us. When he noticed our server wasn’t anywhere to be found and had been sitting for a little with no service, he took the liberty to start taking care of us. While this was happening, the cook named Cameron started serving another table since the server was still no where to be found. These two gentleman went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. When we come back, we hope to find these two still working hard. They deserve a raise or a bonus or something for picking up their coworkers slack while she wasn’t even in the restaurant.

Dropped in for breakfast, it had been a minute since I visited Waffle House. Waitress acknowledged me, they were busy. Less than a minute I was greeted and offered coffee. She took my order, food came out, one plate behind another. The eggs were cooked perfect, the pecan Waffle was delicious, bacon crispy with smothered & covered hash browns. Everyone seemed happy, everything I heard was positive, no complaints. Glad I stopped!

We stopped by here over the weekend later in the evening for some food after our daughter had her cheer comp. It was a rougher one and her spirits were down - the staff didn't know this but they 100% helped end our evening on a wonderful note. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and all of the staff was beyond kind and inviting. Waffle House always manages to deliver the " bustling diner vibe" perfectly. The food is consistently great, but what really impressed me was the level of service. Despite being crowded, we were attended to very quickly. A special shoutout the our server, Sandy, who was so friendly and attentive! She managed to check in with us multiple times throughout our meal, and asked us to refill our drinks before we even realized we need too! This level of service really elevated our experience of dining at Waffle House.

It’s Waffle House, so you already know what vibe to expect but this one? Felt way too crowded. Ain’t no space to breathe, let alone eat in peace. They definitely pushing that max capacity without thinking about the customer comfort. Food: Food was solid Waffle House always got that consistent grease and heat combo that hits when it’s late or you starving. Service: Staff was decent. They moved quick considering the chaos, but don’t expect extra smiles. Atmosphere: That’s where it flopped. Too cramped. Shoulder to shoulder. Tables felt like a sardine layout.

I love Waffle House! I love the food and how great the customer service is. Sandy is amazing! However my last experience was not so good due to a server. One of the servers, Mary, was being rude and said an inappropriate thing about a customer’s appearance as she was walking out. I guess I grew up differently, but if you cannot tell that person what you said to their face, then don’t say anything under your breath. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I hope Mary learns to keep her rude opinions to herself. Overall, still love Waffle House.

What can you say about a waffle house that hasn't already been said. The food is pretty good but I wouldn't make a steady habit of eating there. Staff is a show on their own. But the meals seem to get cooked correctly. I will admit I had the patty melt. I did enjoy the sandwich.

I did an online order and for the 4th time they have served me burnt bacon or bacon crumbs! I am truly upset because I really do enjoy their breakfast but I guess if you’re not there to watch it being cooked they don’t feel the need to make it right. Please stop allowing people to serve others anyway they want and realize if it wasn’t for customers you wouldn’t have a job!

3 stars because every time I order for pickup- my order is never ready by the promised time. I arrive to the resturant and I still have to wait 15- 20 mins for my food. If you order for pickup, I say pull up 15mins after the time that was given.

I would give this place a 4 star cause I personally normally enjoy it most times but today as I’m observing details coming from working at restaurants in the past for several years I was noticing a lot of cross contamination especially today our waitress with gloves was grabbing the trash goes to throw it away then comes back and proceeds to grab our drinks and plates with food with the same gloves never washed and replaced gloves still I’m like whatever I come here a lot and never get sick but today I have both my kiddos so we proceed to eat food was not the way I requested but not the person who cooked it fault the waitress never mentioned the detail I asked for she just didn’t seem like she cared to be bothered with anything but we get home and now my son has a bad stomach ache and feeling nauseous (felt great before going there) I hope he doesn’t get worse cause then I will escalate this to corporate. If I get food poisoning it’s one thing but my kid I won’t let that go so I hope he doesn’t get worse. (Side note I frequently go with morning crew more friendly and professional) this was afternoon.

Food was delivered wrong the first time but was corrected pretty quickly. The manager was horrible and rushing the employees. During out time at the booth the manager stood right in back of it and knocked over the hot sauce bottle and my orange juice bottle and proceeded to look right at it and just walk away. Supper poor customer service on his part. Told it was going to be a 10-15 minute wait for a seat and ended up being closer to a half hour. The waitress was ok but once the food came was the last time we saw her until the check came. Overall this was definitely a short coming for Waffle House. We have eaten here numerous times and never had any issues until today. Highly disappointed with our experience today

AS I WAS GOING IN I NOTICED THE COOKs WAS OUTSIDE ON A SMOKE BREAK AND THEY STILL HAD THEY COOKING APRON ON 🤢🤮 THEN ONCE THEY CAME BACK IN THEY DID NOT WASH THERE HANDS THEY WENT STRAIGHT TO PUTTING ON GLOVES .. WHICH ALL EMPLOYEES SUPPOSE TO WASH THEY HANDS UPON RETURNING TO THEIR WORK STATION .. AND THIS IS EARLY SUNDAY MORNING 10/22/2023 at 1:30 am .. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED AND HUNGRY AND COULDN EAT THERE AFTER I SPOKE WIT ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS NO MANGER THERE RIGHT NOW.. WAFFLE HOUSE YALL GOT TO DO BETTER LIKE YALL ARE COOKING FOR PEOPLE AS YOUR BUSINESS….

We ordered bacon and eggs bacon came out burnt and the eggs are undercooked we sat there for over 15 mins then we got our food and parts was missing

I place to-go orders every now and again - the most recent just showed lack of communication and work ethic from the staff on the floor. Place order online, went in at 2pm to pick up at the given time. Worker looked and asked for the order and said it will be a few minutes. 30 minutes go by, watched 3 sets of customers come, order, eat and leave. Saw a worker take a break. And received no follow up from anyone but did get many awkward eye contact from workers. I finally lost patience and asked to cancel/refund my order. Manager came, they found my ticket separated from the others and under the pos. Never made. They did give me the refund and try to pass off the whole ordeal because of shift change, but the individual I spoke to first was there the entire time and only one new staff member came in during that time. I get they have to say something but come on...I'm just watching whiling I'm waiting I can see everything. I will still order since this has never happened or at least they started making the order once I got there. At least I knew it was getting made.

Waffle House Corporate pay attention!!! I always love the food and service here, but today the service was absolutely humiliating. The waitress screamed across the restaurant for me to leave the booth and sit at the bar since I was alone. Mind you there were 2 other open booths and no line. When I tried to explain to her that as a large person I couldn’t sit in the small chair she gave me total attitude. She told me because “her big boss was there” that she was forced to tell me to move. I have eaten here 100 times and never been told to move. She was completely insensitive to the fact that she was humiliating me in front of the other customers. Then after placing my order she brought me items missing off my order, and although she said she could have the items re-ordered she acted like she couldn’t care less. Once she dropped my food she never returned. It is sad because they are losing a longtime customer over 1 server.

Got breakfast here earlier this week. Everything seemed to be pretty normal as far as service and food until towards the end of my meal I heard MY server (I cant remember her name, maybe Kiya) said “dance monkey dance” to one of her coworkers jokingly. I immediately left after that. That’s unacceptable and ignorant.

Went during middle of the night, workers were extremely rude and calling me names. Extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. Can’t even enjoy a meal without feeling judged.

Absolutely foul, every single plate that came to my table had MULTIPLE hairs on EACH plate! The cook obviously wasnt wearing a beard net and it looked like he purposely scratched hair onto the plate thats how much their was. Foul. Foul. Foul. 🤢

Totally disorganized. Waited 20 minutes for a seat. Get seated while other people came in to place to go orders, and 3 orders went out and we were still waiting for our food after 30 minutes of sitting waiting for our order. So nearly an hour being in there we left with empty bellys. Never got our food and never an explanation or apologize. Last time ever at this location. Even the manager had no idea how to run the cook line. Slow to clean tables, and way over spraying to the point of choking your breath. Super slow service obviously. Total waste of time! Never again for this location!
