My family absolutely loves this place. Everything is fresh and tasty, the quality of food is exceptional. Couple times we have ordered too much and took the food home. It was really good the next day, too. We always sit outside looking at roses. The atmosphere is definitely inviting and relaxing. Our 5 yr old enjoys it here as much as we do. Highly recommend.

The food was outstanding! Owen was our waiter and provided excellent service. We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and for our entrees I had the cowboy steak with rice and parmesan potatoes. My boyfriend had the orange roughy with bacon brussel sprouts and parmesan potatoes.

Everything was prepared just right! My husband had a huge delicious salad and I had salmon! Great people working there and congrats to the cooks! Thank you all!

We had date night with some friends of ours. Beautiful restaurant. Nice atmosphere and service. We ordered french onion soup, ribeye dinner and bread pudding l. The steak was so good, there was no steak sauce needed. There are daily specials during the week so we will be going back.

Great food and great service !!!! Loved it.the banana split martini was heavenly!!! Loved to enviornment and atmosphere ! The prime rib was delicious ! Our waitress , Lisa was phenomenal ! We loved her !!!

Fantastic experience. Went in for lunch. Sat at the bar. The restaurant is very clean and warm. The restrooms where very clean, smelled nice and stocked well with paper towels and soap. Staff were very attentive. Food was fresh. Perfect and fresh hand cut fries and the burger was cooked to my liking and very juicy. The owner keeps this place in tip top shape. Will be recommending to all my friends and family. I’ll definitely be back.

Blown away- had no idea about this place. Stepson brought us takeout- it was absolutely incredible!!! I cannot WAIT to actually come here!!! Food was done to perfection, such a rare treat in this area. So much care has gone into this menu and this restaurant, and it really shows. So grateful to have a place like this around here. I'm going to tell everyone I know about this!

Austin’s is a fantastic spot! The food was delicious, and you can tell the kitchen is in great hands with the new head chef. Every dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Sometimes it is hard to find a great place. Mom and I use to go to Red Wine and Brew but when they changed the menu about a months ago....we have been trying to find a new place. The wait is over!!!! Austin's Grill is our new home for dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful. Busy and not overcrowded. Music and not blasting where you have to yell over it. The pork chop and steak is awesome. The broccoli 🥦 which is so many times is over cooked or under cooked....this place is was perfection. We can't wait to go back again!

Excellent my strip special on Tues backed potato and brussel sprouts very tender. Cob salad had everything , avocado, bacon, blue cheese, egg. Great draft of great lakes Irish red . Quick service. Went early and place was filled by 7:00.

What a wonderful dinner! I dined by myself and am always pleased with the food and service at Austin’s. Having your food cooked on a wood burning grill elevates it to a whole new level!! The staff was amazing. My server, Christi, chef, Audrey never disappoint. I will definitely be coming back! The manager, Richard, even stopped by my table to chat. I honestly have never had anything that I didn’t like. What a great experience!

I have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service at Austin's. We have never had a bad experience there and enjoy ourselves every time!

My wife and I very much enjoyed every aspect of our evening at Austin's. Every interaction was pleasant from the door to the table and back. Our server gave a wonderful description of unique options on the menu and was clearly very knowledgeable of everything Austin's had to offer. The wait time on our meals was extremely reasonable, and our cups never ran empty. The food was absolutely top quality and left us both wanting to try more on the menu. We both look forward to our next visit.

I've been dining at Austin's for several years. Obviously, my experiences have all been good. But it was during my recovery from a broken heel that my true appreciation for Austin's, the team and Nancy D, General Manager, deepened. They took such good care of me every time I visited and it was often! They know how to make a great grilled salmon for sure! Unable to walk for 3 months, I relied on this Mentor establishment to keep me nourished and safe with wheelchair access everywhere. THANK YOU everyone at Austin's Grill! You Rock in Mentor!

Great drinks, good food, outstanding service. Definitely don't miss the chocolate cake! Staff was attentive and went over and above to help us retrieve some belongings we forgot there. Thank you Nancy and Bernie!

Our server at 430 Wednesday March 9 2022 was the best I have seen work in decades. Perfect timing, no hovering, food came out together. She was excellent and we tipped her accordingly. Now the food, which was pretty good all in all. The shrimp bisque was very tasty. We think it may be because it's base tasted like to beer cheese soup also on the menu. The black and blue scallops were excellent as was the mac n cheese (but I let it sit a tad too long making it grainy-purely my fault so eat it quickly). The slaw was ok. It had a very strong mayo flavor and little else. We had the baby backs which looked incredible by their size and presentation. BUT my first bite was burnt, which happens sometimes, and many other parts throughout the half rack were dry as a desert, the same for others in the party. It was fall off the bone but, damn, the dry ruined it.

The staff was great, especially Owen, our server. The food and drinks were good a little pricey for the area. The atmosphere does not match the with the price of the food. The middle of the steak was way too undercooked for me since I wanted it well done. The next time, I will check that first before I start eating it.

We went here opening week and were pleased with the nice modern environment and decor. The place was almost empty since it was kind of late during the weekday and they just opened. The service was great, our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was good but the side portions are kind of small for what you pay for. My fiancé got the Napa Burger with sweet potato fries and we were surprised they don't have a sweet potato fry sauce. I had the salmon dinner with Mac and cheese subbed instead of rice, and a side of broccoli broccoli because they ran out of their Brussels sprouts with bacon which I really wanted to try. They offer weekly specials and have a very nice bar area. We will definitely be back and glad we have more restaurant options in this area. Burger fi will be missed but this is a nice replacement and hope they stick around improve along the way.

Our server was excellent. We didn't have to wait to be seated on a Sunday evening. Meals are a bit pricey. Overall I enjoyed my experience. My prime rib had some inconsistent flavors that I wasn't into. It seemed to me to be like a liquid smoke flavor it reminded me of fire but it wasn't an actual fire taste. That was strange. The NY strip was my favorite. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. The environment is very nice. I like the out door seating. Oh, and they had matches in a bowl at the door. Nice touch, Austin! ...I almost forgot the creme brulee. My favorite dessert was excellent! I can't wait to go again.

Arrived at this restaurant at noon on a Friday. The restaurant was not very busy. Since it was nice outside, a lot of people were sitting on the patio. We decided to eat inside. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. Ordered the half rack of ribs. They were tasty, but they weren’t the best ribs I’ve ever had. They were a little pricey though. The warm white towel with lime was a nice touch in order to clean my hands after eating my ribs. The only complaint I have is the diet Coke. I am a connoisseur of carbonated beverages, and when a machine is warm, and you pour the beverage on ice. If the beverage is not cold before it reaches the ice, it throws the taste of the drink off. I probably will, if I ever go back here choose water instead. The french fries were very fresh and I was pleased to be able to have malt vinegar in order to make them taste like fair fries. Which I love. The cheesecake was delicious for dessert.

We went for the first time for rib night. The smoked ribs were delicious, moist and a beautiful smoke. had a nice bottle of red as well. We will be back to try other entrees on the menu.

It wasn't quite what we were expecting. This was the first time visiting. The view from the street gives a different feel than what's inside. The burger and fish tacos were good. However, the burger viuld have used more flavor. The French fries were a lot of 1/2 inch long potatko pieces. Prices seemed high for what we got. If prices were a little lower, we may go back again. We'll probably check out more restaurants before coming back here.

Food took 45 minutes and came out like warm at best. Waitress forgot to bring our check and we waited for 15 minutes for it.

My brother in law his wife, sister in law and her daughter were in town to visit us from the Toledo area. I wanted to go somewhere special. Took all of them to Austin's. I found that the food was decent but nothing to write home about. I've had better. All of our guests got the ribs and I ordered four side dishes. As I said, the food was average. I would not classify Austin's as a place that you go as a "special place" for a "special event." Server was attentive.

I visited the Mentor location with a few friends and our initial visit was a great experience and everyone was so nice and the vibe is relaxed. However, when I called the restaurant later on, the person that answered was very nasty. For the most part service is great, but that person really lowered my overall experience of Austin's Grill. I don't typically leave reviews that comment on individuals or tip-driven servers, but, in today's world, good service is very important for businesses to survive. I definitely won't be calling this location again, and I probably won't be back.

Austin’s Steakhouse has some really good entrees, and the food quality itself has always been solid. That said, I’ve had disappointing experiences with service at both locations. The servers I’ve had were not very attentive and honestly not very friendly, which takes away from the overall experience. I also tried the chicken wings, which are labeled as “real wings” on the menu. I’m not sure what that means, but they were by far the smallest wings I’ve ever been served, which was pretty surprising. Good food potential here, but the service and some menu items could definitely use improvement.

First time at this restaurant and probably my last. From the begining. .. We made reservations and arrived on time. The young man at the counter was very shy but pleasant. He sat us in a booth that we could not sit in due to the sun beeming in the non curtained window. We were moved to a better spot but before a very angry looking woman, later described as the manager asked him what he was doing and asked in a mean tone" Do they even have a reservation " he responded yes and we were seated. We ordered a few drinks which took 10 min to arrive. We then ordered our meal. Bread arrived at the table which looked amazing and was warm, well at least the outside. The inside was ice cold. Out meal arrived and 1 out of the 3 plates was ok. The pork.chops were very good but the baked potatoes was watery and the mac and cheeze was gritty.. My wife ordered the brisket which she described as boiled tasteless pot roast. This was returned. My father ordered the 62.00 cowboy steak which as described was marbled. Mostly fat. The manager came over and acted put off that my wife did not like her meal. She explained it tasted like boiled meat at which time the manager , very offended, stated its not boiled its smoked for 5 hours then reheated in au jous. The general atmosphere was very pretentious. Neighborhood steakhouse should have a warm feeling. The air was thick and no staff member was smiling. The manager kept barking orders to the staff. It looked like everyone drank pickle juice before the doors opened. Sour faces and no energy. I told my wife im.glad we don't work here everyone seems scared of that lady and was walking on tip toes. 150.00 later, after the boiled meat was taken off we left. My wife still hungry, changes need to happen here or this place won't last.

Not sure how this place is even open. Ordered carry out tonight and was highly dissatisfied. Texas BBQ, half rack of ribs and an Austin’s filet. Both the ribs and brisket are clearly oven baked with some liquid smoke tossed on them. No smoke ring at all on either, wouldn’t feed this to my dogs. Will never be back.

Went here while I was on vacation. I came from CT to visit my Mom. We went here with other family members as a celebration dinner. The service was ok. Most of out food was over cooked and not good. Dry steak, burned Brussel sprouts, bland and very small portions of fries. My family will never go back there. When we politely told our server that we were not happy, all we got was a "oh, sorry" The food pictures look good but trust me when I say it was not good!!! It's unfortunate because this place is not cheap either! $44 for a ribeye that's over cooked!!!

I have sent food back to the kitchen for being inedible one time in my life, and it was here. I ordered the Chicken Piccata, and it was just way too lemony and bitter, honestly hard to eat. I ended up sending it back and getting sliders instead, which were fine, nothing amazing but at least edible. The staff was nice enough about it, but the whole experience was kind of a letdown. Definitely not what I was hoping for when I came in.

The food was not the greatest. DEFINITELY disappointing for the prices for sure! The kids cheeseburger was inedible and the stuffing in the stuffed shrimp was very fishy tasting. Very long wait time to get our food. Our waitress was wonderful though!

So yeah. My first time here. Our waiter was the best. Was with a group of 7. FANTASTIC spinach artichoke dip with PERFECT homemade light thin and puffy chips. 5 stars. Parmesan chips there were 4 long but not huge and good. Now the cod fish and chips dinner was terrible. One of the women also ordered the fish. Mine was like 3 greasy sponges. I took one bite and noticed it was kinda greasy but thought it just came out of friyer. Didn't taste right at all. No flavor of fish what so ever. Took another bite and decided its not right. Asked how her's was she said fine. Then I took my fork and pushed down on my 1 of my 3 filets and it oozed out all sorts of grease. Asked to taste hers it was ok but still to me not fishy enough. Showed her my grease, she took a taste and spit it out with a ugly face. Menu is higher end prices, portions were normal I suppose when you pay a higher price. I would take my wife there for the dip.
