Management needs to do a good cleaning dining room is dusty and some fresh paint. The food otherwise is great and the house margaritas are top notch! Cheers to also to the friendly waitress!

Played it safe by ordering the enchilada plate with rice and beans. This restaurant apparently had been in business since the 1950’s so you know the food is solid and safe. I would have loved to see some hot sauce options other than Tabasco. The chips and salsa were excellent. Next time I’ll have to try one of their signature dishes.

Seated right away but took 10 min for someone to acknowledge(staff walked past us multiple times not a word) and rcv drinks & chips.Also there was only 1 group plus us(2). I paid in cash gave exact change and my exact change came back to me and short a dollar.

Sooo we finally decided to TRY this place. Wish we DID NOT. ONE of the plates they brought us was dirty. The salsa was sooooo SALTY! !!! We brought it to the managers attention and he said it was us because no one else said anything., BUT all the othet customers salsa bowls were still full when they left, that says something.!!! A good salsa would be ALL eaten!!!!! GOOD SALSA IS EATEN!...DUH! ...........good thing it was complimentary Plus, Worst heartburn ever! AND... AND prices are ridiculous for what you get AND it takes over 10 minutes to get a refill for your drink, but you have to ask for it, the waitress does NOT check on your table. We only saw the waitress for our order, delivery of food and to give us our check.

We have eaten at this restaurant for 10 years plus. I have to say although the decor hasn’t changed both the service and food have. Not for the better. We had a wait time of 25 minutes when they had plenty of people working and only 4 people sitting for dinner. The hostess simply had no idea what she was doing. The food is always different: from taste, spice, and consistency. I am rating it a two because our server was excellent. But overall this place has gone downhill rapidly. Midland may have a staffing issue but that should not effect the chefs ability to prepare the meals from recipe. The decor is pleasant and the restaurant always clean. I would not recommend parties over 4 here.

Pretty disappointed about my meal. The carne guisada was mostly gravy mixture with vegetables. No queso on my chalupa, no sour cream for my flautas and no silverware.... Very overpriced.

The food was extremely greasy, even the chips. The manager was very rude. The food was way overpriced! I ordered the chile verde plate, which was $18! Instead of salsa, they had a tomato and lime base.

Never made it to the table before leaving very rude arrive with party at 11 won’t set incomplete party that knows what everyone wants ready to order no crowd in restaurant told us Rosas and Taco villa will seat us in 4 min or less THE PATIO also will do so 😁

If I could give this place 0 stars, I’d do it every single time. The staff here is rude beyond belief especially some lady who clearly thinks she runs the place. Her attitude is nasty, unprofessional, and flat-out embarrassing. I’ve never seen someone act so childish while pretending to be in charge. The energy was giving ‘sleeping with the boss’ and she carries herself like it. Truly disgusting behavior that says a lot about how this place is run

The experience eating here was absolutely abysmal. For one, service was extremely slow and somewhat lackluster. Our group was on the larger size, and if the service had been the only weak point I could've just chalked it up to the large group. Drink refills were few and far between but the chips and salsa were pretty alright. Secondly, the food portions were pretty anemic, the plate was mostly rice and beans and not even a large amount at that. I got some "crispy" tacos, that were soggy and disintegrated when I tried to pick them up. And on top of that they were pretty small. The only reason I didn't walk away starving was that I probably ate a basket of chips on my own trying to stave off malnutrition. Now, while I was unhappy with the meal and service, the price didn't seem too bad and I enjoyed sitting and eating chips with my friends. I was willing to overlook all the bad until the bill came. And honestly I was perfectly fine paying a 20% added on gratuity or even a 40% gratuity(which is what the bill said), but despite having not one but TWO 20% gratuities tacked onto the bill IT WASN'T EVEN CORRECT. The true gratuity was a staggering 65%. We inquired to the server about this gratuity and she confirmed that it was correct. And then onto all of that there is a credit card charge, so I paid in cash. The cherry on top for this story is that they didn't even give me all the change that was owed, but I was so annoyed that I simply accepted it and pocketed this story for future entertainment. The food isn't good, the atmosphere is pretty middling, the quantity of food is abysmal and the prices are absolutely atrocious bordering on thievery.

Went as a table of 5, there was a bigger party of roughly 15 in the same section which our server seemed more interested in. However, we were the only two tables in the vicinity. Our service was slow & we saw the waitress not near the amount of times. We usually come in on the weekends because there’s no crazy wait times & good food but after this experience with the owner/manager we won’t be back at all. When we finally asked for the check the waitress went to the front to get it & then disappeared. After waiting 10 minutes for the check we decided to go to the front and pay. We were given a total & no receipt. It sounded a bit pricey but nothing out of the normal. A receipt was given after asking once we paid. Once in the car we noticed extra drinks on the receipt & twice the service charge. We walked back in to see if we could get the issue corrected but the owner instead gave us attitude, would not even look at the receipt, & even tossed a calculator on the table telling us to add it up on our own. To top it off he just walked away into the back leaving his hostess to deal with it. She is not at fault sir. You are. So over a discrepancy of roughly $5 & seeing the way you handle tiny little issues we won’t be coming back anymore.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review for anything but I’ve also never had a dining experience like i had last night. My mom, aunt, and i sat at the bar. It was busy, so we came in patient. We got our drinks pretty quickly but hadn’t gotten any chips and salsa, and had to flag the bartender to take our order (honestly no big deal). After this, we had to ask for chips and salsa 2 more times. We waited and waited for our food and asked if the bartender could check on it. She came back and told us the kitchen was backed up so we politely asked if we could cancel our food order because we had somewhere to be at 7:30 and it was already 7:30. We had waited over an hour for food at that point. Then, who we assumed was a manager came over and very rudely told us that we couldn’t cancel our order. She said that we had been put in behind 30 other tickets and it’s “just how this works” and we’d have to wait our turn. She said it was literally on the grill and almost out anyway so we’d have to wait. The way she spoke to us was not professional at all and made us feel like it was our fault our food had taken over an hour. We waited an additional 30 minutes for HALF of the food to come out, then 10 minutes later another dish, then we had to ask for the final dish. We asked for boxes because like i said, we were running late, but we hadn’t been given silverware. The bartender watched as we boxed our food up with a straw before we finally asked for silverware and she gave us one set. This was truly a horrible dining experience and we felt that we were being held hostage for our food. If the food had already been on the grill when we asked to cancel the order. There’s no way it would’ve taken an additional 40 minutes. There were others at the bar that had sat down after we ordered and got their food way before us. We felt lied to, and honestly screwed over. We could’ve just csncelled the food, paid for our drinks, and gotten to our other thing on time. Instead we were made to pay for food we didn’t even want and couldn’t even eat. And everyone treated us like we were the villains. I work in the food industry and have for years so i understand how orders can be forgotten, and kitchens can get backed up. But i also understand how to talk to people and that was not it. Not once did anyone apologize for the wait or inconvenience. My mom has always been a fan of this restaurant and she said she’s not coming back after this. Its just a really big bummer.
