Tip: Visit during lunch (11am-3pm) for the special menu. If you prefer spicier food, consider asking for extra heat as the medium spice level may not be spicy enough for some.

Opinions de Thai Paradise Monterey Park
Came for dinner. The service was top notch. The restaurant is cute, inviting, and well lit. There’s ample parking and entrance from the parking lot as well as from the main st. We asked for medium heat and it could’ve been spicier. We were just cautious. All dishes were delicious. Loved the bowl size soup. More than enough for 2 to share. They gave us a rice pudding to close off our meal- delicious.
Came during lunch, plenty of parking at the back, and no waiting to get a table. Food is more on the sour side. Pad thai is more sweet compare to most other places I have eaten. Clam is very flavorful. Red curry with pineapple is more on the sour spicy side, not as sweet creamy spicy. Bbq meet is good.
This is a beautiful peaceful place to dine...casual yet upscale...my first time here...Thai iced coffee strong good sweet and came in a to go cup, I shoulda asked for a refill and taken it with me on a warm Tuesday afternoon. Open spacious seating. I ordered the lunch special Pineapple fried rice...my friend had the spicy curry fish....it came with choice of soup or salad...and two friend won tons. And a tapioca dessert. Big thumbs up. Nice fast service. Highly recommend.
It’s a very casual dine-in Thai restaurant that serve authentic food, well, based on the menu because I ordered BBQ Chicken 😅. Either way, the food was good and it came around $23. The chicken I ordered had a good sauce glazed on top and it also can with rice, a fried snack, a salad (or soup), and a sweet sauce you can pour on your meal which went very well with the rice. After I finished they offered me a small sweet bean soup as dessert for free which was also good. For drinks I ordered a Thai iced tea w/ boba to go along with my meal and a Thai iced coffee to go; both were very good. Next time I’ll try to order something more ambitious than something from the appetizer section. Edit: Around year after, I went back to this place and tried the shrimp cakes. Beautiful, this shrimp tasted good and the bread was very crispy. The black rice pudding is still my favorite.
I had a pleasure of dining in one of the most respectful, polite, cozy establishments in a very long time tonight the food was divine & affordable. staff was polite, genuine, not in a rush to get you out. I live in Koreatown and the establishments out here could really learn the lesson in being appreciative to your guests & from the beauty and elegance of this restaurant and people inside of it,
Very friendly service and I loved the food. Big portions!
We came here for lunch and ordered 4 dishes: Pad Thai, Pad se'ew, Pineapple fried rice, and Spicy fried rice. Pad Thai was the best among those, and the least favorite was Spicy fried rice which was quite bland. They're considered lunch special in the menu (11am to 3 pm), so we were served together with fried wonton, soup (or salad), and small deserts in the last course. I have to say this meal were so affordable - we paid only around $11/dish and got all of that. Not to mention that the service was great and nothing to complain at this point. Plus, the restaurant itself is spacious, plenty of seats and has pretty nice decoration inside and outside. I would definitely come back frequently if I were living around this area but I am a tourist :(
Thai Paradise is awesome. Great place for lunch with a pretty big lunch special menu. From what I can tell it’s 7 days a week including weekends. We got the pad Thai and basil chicken with a skewers plate as an app. The pad Thai was my favorite. Tasty. Seasoned. The service was great. The entire staff is friendly and there are plenty of tables. Parking is fine with a multi level parking structure behind the restaurant. Overall: Will return for some Thai food.
Very flavorful, well-balanced, delicious food. The service was great, really liked our server. Really enjoyed atmosphere, it was comforting. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes Thai Food.
Great lunch specials. Service was quick and friendly. This is my niece’s favorite Thai restaurant. Thai beef salad was the best of the ones we tried. The condiments are authentic and spicy.
Food tastes amazingly delicious and the staffs are super helpful. Parking is moderately easy, with plenty of Handicap spots right in front of the restaurant. A good resto to briing any age of family members. A great place for family dinner with some birthday cake cutting.
The thai food here is cook sooo perfectly everything is soo good I got nothing but delicious plates not even 1 that I dont like... definitely coming back!! 8 items only cost $139 n that'd cheap!! The service was wonderful and very nice

Delicious Tom Kha soup, amazing salads and great service. If I didn’t live 2,432 miles away, I’d go to this restaurant every week

Good spot for casual Thai food with big portions. The pad see ew and green curry are flavorful. Service is quick and polite. Parking is in a small lot but manageable. Prices are very fair for the quality
The San Gabriel location closed and now I have to drive to Monterey Park. So glad it tastes the same because this place is deliciously delicious. The spicy fried rice is devilishly delectable because of the heat and combined with the pineapple curry it's damn near damning. Screw Flanders.

I have not sat down to eat, but my to go order was fast and tasty. I ordered a pad se ew, chicken and a thai tea and both were great enough to go back and order it. Interior of restaurant seemed very nice and calm.
It is said to be a long-established restaurant with generous portions. Some dishes taste quite good, while others are just average.
We had rice vegetarian noodles, red and yellow curry, white steamed rice & chicken wings all in just 57$. Taste is totally worth the penny you spend. 1 star less for little less salt in majority dishes. Service was amazing. Ambience was good.

Atmosphere is very pleasant and elegant. I would come for the lunch special if possible. This time, my pineapple fried rice was quite mushy, indicating that they didn't leave the rice in the fridge to dry out before preparing it. A beginners mistake, which I didn't expect from them as it is usually pretty good. I love the red bean dessert that they serve you at the end of the meal.

Portion size ruins the whole experience, 16 dollars for this is crazy. Meat portion is also not impressive. Maybe dine in is worth the price but not take out. Oh and Thai tea can be bigger for 5 dollars or at least full. Shrinkflation is a thing.
Food is not same like before , totally different, because we come every year, we love Thai food and support test look like

Passive aggressive behavior, bland food with meat skimpers. Wontons were practically chips and the bbq pork was the DRIEST meat ive ever put in my mouth. The sauce that came with it smelled straight up vile, smelled like cheese and vomit. If your plan on taking loved ones here you don’t really love them and youre better off just starving them. Cant believe I spent my hard earned money on this, and never get my money back.
