I admit to be quite picky with my Chinese food! Particularly in today's "delivery" environment, nothing is worse than luke warm Chinese food with frozen veggies (my typical experience with SF Chinese restaurants). Well, luckily none of this is the case at Golden Palace. While I suggest picking up your food rather than have it delivered due to long waiting times, the final product is delicious! I love the dumplings (don't have to search with a microscope to find them), the Orange Chicken is to die for and the Lo Mein beef is wonderful! Thank you Golden Palace for fulfilling all my Chinese cravings throughout COVID times!

Wonderful owners agreed to deliver outside their normal delivery area...just before their closing time. And, they were going to wave the delivery charge. Great food, even better service. Please support our local business owners.

Such a great place! Just moved to moraga and had lost faith in chinese food...until golden palace! Everthing is so fresh, they deliver and will accommodate our "healthier" option requests. So friendly, such a neighborhood gem. There is a reason why this wonderful place has been a moraga favorite for so many years.

This place is my favorite. They serve excellent Japanese and Chinese. And the owners are the best. I eat here often and the chicken and beef skewers are a must with every meal.

Brought out hot and sour soup along with some sesame balls right away while we checked out the menu. Ordered a dragon roll, a salmon hand roll, and a basil chicken lunch, and they were all good. Will be back with the rest of the family to try more of the menu next time.

We pass by for months until we decided to give them a chance, we are so happy that we stop... Is clean and modern decorated, the food has an incredible taste, I like they have gluten free menu. You don't notice any difference between the regular menu, delicious. They present the food elegantly and serve so quickly! At the end they give you cookies and a platter with fruit! by the way they make flowers with it! This restaurant is affordable but you may take your spouse for a date because is so pretty! Love it!!

Good food but the floors are always sticky. This place needs a floor steamer at least once a week. It feels a bit dirty.

Kung Pao was excellent. Veggies crispy and sauce rich. 5 stars. Spring rolls were crispy outside which is good but lose a point for being somewhat mushy on the inside. Not as bad as some I’ve had but 3 stars for that. Spring rolls should never be mushy in or out. In fairness, Chinese spring rolls are more often saddled with this fault as a rule than Thai spring rolls. Service was fast and courteous and restaurant was clean. Will return.

If you're expecting authentic Asian food look elsewhere. However, before you do, Here's something to consider. So I ordered take out and I though the prices were decent enough. It wasn't a peak hour ( before 5) I arrived a bit earlier than expected and while waiting in the lobby the staff brought me ice water and offered me fortune cookies to snack on. Thought that was pretty cool. When the order was ready they even threw in a couple extra fruits which I thought was a nice touch I couldn't give them 5 stars because it wasn't really authentic Asian food. However, service was impeccable even during an off hour.[That definitely makes it worth visiting every now and then if you're hungry :>]

Gone for takeout twice recently, 1st time: ordered mu shu chicken but received generals chicken (without the heads up that they switched what we ordered) / Mongolian beef /Kung Pao chicken 2nd takeout: hot and sour soup / mu shu chicken / generals chicken All of the dishes have been good and we would recommend them

I only ordered take out from here. It's out of my way, but imo the best in the area. . My favorite is their beef chow fun. They've never disappointed.

I have not had a bad experience here only good ones but am not a fan of chinese sushi, sorry. The sushi isn't bad and I have seen tge fish and actually approved but i prefer classically trained chefs. I can make it at home for much less and they really do charge a premium for sushi and also for chinese food. 12.50 for a order of bbqed pork fried rice... Pricey for average

I loved coming here but recently they have taken so long to get us our food. The staff was nice about it but it is the third time this happens. Ridiculous!

Terrible food....Chicken was like rubber ...very tough....SAUCE was toooo salty ...took home so for $12.50 the portion was chinzy. An hour after eating stomach was very upset and bubbling.....very uncomfortable.....NEVER AGAIN.

The food is good. But absolutely no customer service the three times that my friend and I went. Also heard from others it is also the same way with no customer service.

They charged $48.00 for some jacked up food they delivered! How do you mess up chow mein? Found another Chinese Food in the area will not be ordering any more from these no cooking folk!

Ordered generals chicken, the chemical fumes from the sauce literally burns my nose. $17.50 or whatever for that. The chicken wasn't very good either.. the place is a trap.
