I fumbled across this place when I was only on lunch coming to Crumbl. But I am so happy I did. I ordered the nacho fries with chicken and on my goodness it was so good. I didn’t even have time to eat it right away when I got back to work but when Luke warm it was still so delicious: I will definitely be back when I’m doing a cheat day lol since I’m on a calorie deficit currently. Took a min for someone to recognize me when I went in it was just me and they must was getting orders ready but once they decided to notice I was there the girls seemed pleasant. I Can’t reccomend much at the moment since this was my first time but I think everything should be just as good the grilled chicken was definitely well seasons. I don’t eat beef is pork so I can’t help with that review

Update 3? 4? Still awesome!! Update I still love this place! I love this place! Family owned, friendly and the food is on point! Line out the door at lunch so come early. They do serve beer! Their Posole is some of the best I have ever had. Good portion sizes and very clean.

Salsa Verde Is Very Good but I just wish they had an extra salsa made for Mexican people (More Spicy 🌶️)👌 Food was fresh Burrito 🌯 👍 🇲🇽 Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the food 😅

The food is always fresh and delicious! The portions are generous . It's our favorite place for take out.

This is by far the worst Mexican food ever! I got a Combo Plate with a Taco and Enchilada...The Taco shell fell apart in 1 bite, and was one of those prepackaged shells...The Enchilada was the worst ever, the blood red sauce was definitely from a can with 0 flavor! The grilled chicken was super dry with No Flavor or texture at all! I also got a Quesadilla to go, with watered down sour cream and guacamole from a package....No flavor, and again dry chicken and this time a super greasy tortilla. I GUARANTEE this is the worst Mexican Food Ever! The rice was dry with 0 flavor and the beans were watered down....Do yourself a favor, and Do Not Go Here Ever! And to top it off I'm certain the owners know they are selling crap, they are just looking to cut costs....Nothing fresh, nothing good at all! Avoid at all costs....There is no way they will stay in business unless they make significant changes ASAP! Like TOMORROW! Perfectly hideous food, if you want to call it that!

The star is the wonderful variety of veggies at the salsa bar. The place is functional, like a cafe. The people work hard to cut and prepare the food and clean the place. I hope they provide better quality of entrees. Like real beans in the refried beans. Place was empty.

This place is good when you need a good Mexican meal. The food can have a little more flavor and power, but overall 10/10. At a st Mary’s student… this is so worth it!!

Food was ok. Got the huevos rancheros. The refried beans were like a puddle of light brown with a scant amount of cheese- like a teaspoon. The star is the wonderful variety of veggies at the salsa bar. The place is functional, like a cafe. The people work hard to cut and prepare the food and clean the place. I hope they provide better quality of entrees. Like real beans in the refried beans. Place was empty.

Ordered a super burrito with chicken and shrimp and this is how it turned out. It’s our 2nd time there and first time was great and burrito was a decent size. I’m not sure what happened here.

I recently visited El Jardin Taqueria and tried their grilled chicken quesadilla. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The quesadilla was very bland, and the chicken was dry with no flavor at all. The cheese was not melted properly and lacked the gooey texture you would expect in a good quesadilla. Additionally, the tortilla was a bit too thick and didn’t have the crispiness that makes a quesadilla enjoyable. On the positive side, the service was quick and efficient. The ambiance was casual, making it a relaxed place to hang out.

I ordered a single crispy taco with beef. I didn't even question that it was almost $11 because California and also walnut creek. I had no idea that it was a full plate with beans and rice. I feel like if I order "a single crispy taco" that's what I should get. Not a "single crispy taco with rice and beans and small salad" If I wanted rice and beans and all that I would have ordered a crispy taco with rice and beans and lettuce and all that. If only the person talking my order wasn't obsessed with being on her phone maybe she would have been able to help me. I guess hanging up your facetime call isn't an option when talking someone's order. I'll never be back. Btw the taco was bland. z

We recently came to this establishment and I'd like to think we caught the workers on a bad day. We were barley even acknowledged. Food was okay, the salad tasted like it wasn't even washed. When my husband walked in to pick up our order no one acknowledged him, he told them he was there for a pick up, and their response? "ok" that was it. We wont be coming back.

I’m so disappointed in the lack customer service I experienced. I’ve eaten here several times and the food is decent. My to go order was wrong and I didn’t open the boxes before I left. Lesson learned. I drove back with the order (out of principle) as they told me and they said it’s been “ate”. It was rearranged for plating and my Mom took a bite out of one taco. The order was wrong missing obvious ingredients yet they tried to tell me it was correct. I tried to talk to the cook but I was told doesn’t speak English so he ignored me. I guess that’s what you get at a low budget taqueria. But it wasn’t cheap. I got ripped off.
