They have made a good come back from their troubles. The food is good tasting with a wide veritity of options. My personal favorite is the pork, good tasting and low fat healthy. The parking is good, and when the weather is good the out side seating is nicer and quieter.

This location is right in the heart of downtown Concord. Parking is very difficult and hard to find during busy times. My order had uncooked brown rice and after providing feedback, they did give me a free entree. Also, passed on my comments to respective personal.

I liked the food and staff gave us a good service. It's near and in convenient location if you are walking around in Walnut Creek downtown .But if you are planning to come in car . Then it is not a good idea.

What's happening with the making of the burritos? The quality is really slipping. The thick tortilla doesn't hold and it's wrapped with two folds now so everything falls out with one bite! This is becoming a regular thing. May have to check out the competition.

I have been to this Chipotle maybe 20 times over the last five years. Their TORTILLA are ALWAYS STALE. They obviously make them early in the day and just let them sit. It’s really disappointing.

No tip and taxes included in the price of the food.

The outside area needs attention, tables are dirty, there is a table outside that doesn’t even have chairs, the spicy sauce it’s overly spicy but lacks flavor

Food is always great but they can’t seem to get my order right ever. Asked for chips and Guacamole and received only guacamole then ask if I could get my chips when I realized it wasn’t there. Then seen it wasn’t on the receipt. It’s a bad experience when I have to hold up the line to get 1.50 chips. Happened the last 3/4 times I’ve been there. Who orders a burrito with a side of guacamole when it’s already on the burrito lol, they need to pay more attention or I’ll just go to Taco Bell as sad as it sounds. Might have a better chance getting my order right there.

I've been here a few times, but tonight's experience was truly absurd. I came in about 15 minutes before close, ordered a bowl and once I finished ordering they rang me up and told me there would be no guac as I was swiping my card. "Why no guac?" "Because we're almost out, it's for online orders only." So I asked them "Wait, so if I had simply not paid, and put in an online order while standing here, I could have gotten guac?" "Yeah" So even though it was 12 minutes to closing, there was no other customers in the restaurant, they HAD the ingredient, and DIDN'T have orders reserving what was left, they just refused to give it to me. What the actual hell, why would you not tell me that until AFTER I've paid?

I haven't eaten at Chipotle on Locust St, in Walnut Creek for over a year, but my last visit 3 days ago was not good. The place was dirty. The tables, floors, and condiment table. No napkins. The trash was over flowing in every garbage can. I was in line for 20 minutes to order. The food preparers were so slow. My food was cold too. The black beans still chilled in my taco. I expect more from this location. Sadly I won't be going there anymore, there are many other places to eat on the street.

Comparing this place to the average Chipotle, my experience was subpar. 1. Portions are very small 2. I repeated three times what I wanted to the worker, and he still scooped the wrong things AND completely skipped something I asked for (young brown haired guy? maybe he’s a new worker?) 3. The rice was in clumps

After paying for my food, which I ordered to go, I asked staff if I can have a lid because I needed to go to the restroom and I didn't want to have my food exposed to bathroom particulate/atmosphere, instead of giving it to me they made the request awkward as if I asked for something weird/strange, I said well if you're so reluctant to give that to me I told them the reason why I needed it and then I asked if they could simply watch my food since I didn't want to bring it into the bathroom unlided. And having to tell my personal business in public to them made me feel ashamed, unsafe and anxious.

Well the food was gross. Kinda bland and cold. We stood in line for about 5 minutes with no one in front of us. Just stood there waiting for the only 2 employees insight to stop talking. When the employee finally decided to make our food, he kept rushing us. Yes the line was long but that is your problem for talking instead of working. After our food was made the employee yelled for someone to check us out. We stood there waiting for another good 2 minutes before the employee who made our food looked up and said, "Uh, can i help you, the line is over there". REALLY!!. At this point we were very upset & my girlfriend said F-it, grabbed the food & walked out. I was gonna stop her but 2 customers behind us did the same thing. I don't blame them. Other Problems 1. Only 2 Employees 2. The Employees were talking instead of working 3. The 2nd employee wasn't working. She was just standing by the grill. 4. If you are not dressed to work at the grill then why are you standing there. 5. The tables where dirty 6. Oh yeah we found 2 employees, they were sitting at a table on there phones. Don't tell me they were on break because it was only like 11am & they open at 10:45am Pros. 1. Free food

Worst Chipotle I've ever had the misfortune of walking into, and that's me being polite. The food was almost as awful as the staff's behavior/knowledge of the place. I had a gift card with $15 on it (yes I checked the current balance on their website prior to entry), and a very rude, (seemingly new), employee wouldn't even bother trying to punch it in or scan it more than once because she slid it very fast one time and claimed it was declined, so I had to pay her cash. Other employees there seemed to have no idea what they were doing, were goofing around way too much, tried charging me extra for guacamole when I got a veggie burrito (even though guac comes with that one), and couldn't even wrap a burrito correctly. This resulted in a broken, very small, and very messy burrito which was 100% not worth it. In all honesty, I would have been ashamed to even have given that burrito to someone who had no food. In the past I've found a band aid in my guacamole at this location AND they said they couldn't refund me, but I STILL gave this location a second chance AND I wish I didn't. Save your time, save yourself, GO TO A DIFFERENT CHIPOTLE! This place has been getting worse throughout the years, and I'm hoping that changes in a good way, but until then they will no longer have my business in Walnut Creek. Come on Chipotle, it's time to clean up this mess of a store, please!!!!

I'm upset with this Chipotle for a string of bad experiences involving my family and myself. The first time, we ordered food online, and our orders has 75% of what we ordered on them. We are easy-going and have worked food service jobs before, so we let this slide. The second time we were here, we found steak in the grilled peppers. My family is vegan but we didn't even make a big deal about it. After we paid, I pointed it out to a staff member who said '"huh" then took the piece out with the veggie-tongs and put it back into the steak. What irks me the most, and why I will not be returning to ANY Chipotle for a long time, is the third experience we had this weekend. We decided to eat Chipotle, and low and behold the staff was not prepared. It was busy, but not as busy as I've seen many restaurants. We ordered and I noted the veggies we're empty. We were in the mood to wait, so we did. Once we ordered, we got two veggie burritos with guac. It looked a little strange but I didn't notice what my wife did - there were streaks of white in the guacamole. Not one hour after we left, my wife and I both felt sick. We had stomachaches and we're nauseous, and had to go home immediately. The guacamole had sour cream in it, which is not in the strict formula Chipotle provides, but as I have learned from other similar experiences is a way many Chipotles cut cost to make the guacamole last longer. I threw up and was sick all night, as was my family - including my 9 month old who's never had dairy before! Needless to say, we won't be returning. Please review this location!

Just got home from picking up my order. The chips are stale. I called to let them know, so they won't give another customer stale chips and there is no way to speak with anyone there! Only takes orders . Won't be back, terrible service if you won't speak with your customers!

Worst customer service. The female employee who works there on Saturdays was insanely irate and rude! Yelled at the woman in front of me, then slapped the tiniest bit of meat on my plate. Charged me $9 for just lettuce and less than an ounce of chicken. Threw my bowl in the bag sideways so juice leaked out all over my car. Went back in to confront the “manager” who proceeded to lecture me on the logistics of their company policy and refused to offer me a new bowl or refund. The WORST Chipotle in the Bay Area. Go to the one in Dublin, by far the best Chipotle workers there. They replaced my bowl AND apologized for the awful service I received at the Walnut Creek location.

Used to love this place, but the portion sizes are just getting ridiculous. It's actually getting disrespectful. Next time my order is shorted I'm just walking out.

The customer service was so rude. I was ordering and she was so mean to me. She also served me so little. She yelled at me and was very insolent. I don’t know what her name was but she was an older lady and looked Hispanic. Never going to that chipotle again.

it the filthiest franchises I have ever been to....the floors were dirty, the tables weren't cleaned up and I just didn't feel like eating there ...since the kids were hungry, so we just bought lemonade there and came out I don't know whether they were under staffed or what but an eating place needs to maintain cleanliness....that's the least to expect !!! Seeing those dirty floors, I couldn't get myself to sit there and eat inspite that we were so hungry I wouldn't ever want to go into that one anymore though I love chipotle

I dread coming to this chipotle because they lack basic customer service skills and unable to communicate with real humans. You are working for real people . They forgot they are in the customer service industry. Greedy employers overcharging customers and not letting them know what they are being charged for… I purchased three tacos , asked for a little bit of queso on one taco, they charged me $1.80 without any confirmation. The cashier only asked the person putting together my food to charge instead of letting me know as well. Those ladies are not friendly in the friend either… one of three workers actually were friendly and able to make a recommendation to me. It will be helpful to check in with customers and let them know even though you only got the queso on one taco (barely ), we have to charge you as if you got a container full or got queso on all tacos. It’s not about the money for me it’s the greed and principle of the situation. That is the last straw with chipotle they will no longer receive my service at all. I will take my business elsewhere.

I’ve loved chipotle for so long, but this location has gotta be one of the worst. They are so greedy with the portion sizes. The employees act like the less meat they give, the higher their paycheck will be. Also most of them have horrible attitudes (not all, but most)

I ordered online a couple months ago and found a bug in my food. I honestly just figured that well chipotle has a lot of organic greens coming in so maybe that’s why. I love chipotle normally and went back against my better judgment. Got another bowl in person yesterday and my husband got a burrito. And now today we have food positioning. Idk what’s going on most of the time eating at chipotle is fine. But starting to think something is wrong with this location.

Guy with the arm sleeve tattoos gives comically small portions, even with queso and guac which i’m literally paying EXTRA for. Literally not even half the spoon. Like dude is Chipotle taking the ingredients straight from your personal fridge?? There was a blonde girl there too who is also super cheap with portions, again not even half of a scoop. The staff is always rude even when I smile and ask how their day is. Y’all need to get some customer service training in because now I go to the Pleasant Hill one instead and i love them.

Nobody working there cared and they were out of nearly everything. When I asked for guacamole the kid behind the counter looked annoyed and made sure to bring out the most oxidative looking guacamole. When I told him I didn’t want the guacamole anymore, both the guy and the kid standing next to him smirked and said, “good job.” This is horrible service and the quality of the food looks so poor that OSHA should come out and inspect them! They didn’t even bother changing out the utensils for a clean one too! Are the employees even servsafe certified?!

Today I had a bad experience with Emma. I felt she rushed me through my order and she was very rude. As she made my taco I had to ask someone else to take over my order because the way she spoke to me was in a rude disrespectful manner. As a paying customer no one should be rushed or disrespected and I highly suggest that Ms. Emma get more training for this job in the area of actively listening and she can learn to be more patient.

This location literally messes up every single order which is one thing but tonight I’m sick and did take out and my daughter needed dinner and they gave us two cold empty tortillas instead of her cheese quesadilla. How can you even call that a quesadilla? How incompetent do you have to be not to put cheese on a tortilla? My daughters hungry and this is ridiculous.

got to this place after the lunch crowd had passed through. Ordered quite alot of food. Rather than make the meals with fresh food, the staff decided to give us the dredges from the bottom of the pots. We are NEVER going back to this awful place.

Gives you half a scoop of chicken, and calls it a serving. Chipoltle is greedy but this was insane.
