The Stadt Platz was absolutely perfect for my large group! Locations is 10/10, spaces were all in good shape, loved the outdoor space as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in New Braunfels!

Great location! Great lagoon style pool! Secure gated property! Sleeps so many friends and family; we had a dozen there and had plenty of room. The house is an older lake house and could use some freshening but it in no way detracts from a great week’s vacation!

Awesome river front houses along the Guadalupe River / Lake Dunlap with some common area swimming pools, hot tubs, and even fishing and swimming from boat docks! Tom and his staff know how to take care of their guests. Make sure to book early before they sell out.

I like this spot. I felt like I was on a private beach getaway but with one of those big houses like you would have seen on the Real World on MTV from the nineties. The home i was in had this crazy shower in it with like 6 shower heads where you could just stand there and water would hit the top of your head and your "undercarriage" all at the same time. The kitchen was humongous, like big enough to cook a bison in but you don't even have to butcher it first. You could just walk it in and just start eating. I felt like royalty. There was like 20 beds. Cool place. I'll miss it.

We wanted a place that would hold a large group for a baby shower. This place did not disappoint! We stayed at Lago/Pasada and had everything we could possibly need to host a large group. The pool was clean and beautiful. The grounds are well kept and the groundskeeper was super helpful. Our guests had a great time and our family enjoyed spending time together. Highly recommend!!

We have stayed at the Cloud Ln property a few times over about 8 years and really enjoyed it each time! The last time we were in Laguna Vista with 11 people - 8 adults and 3 kids. The only real issues we had were that the knives in the kitchen were terribly dull and there were only about 7 forks, as we took turns cooking for each other. Easy access to all the New Braunfels and Gruene sights but it's lovely enough that you don't really even need to leave. We had family come from 2 other states where it's not nearly as hot, so we mostly hung out together in the pool and inside because of the August heat, and that worked just fine for us. The house was fascinating with some great old furniture and interesting construction - I sell furniture and antiques so I took nearly as many pictures of the furniture as the family. The waterfront area is nice and shady, our fishermen spent lots of time down there. though it's not ideal swimming in the high season because of the wake of all the boats and jet skis going by. The property is essentially surrounded by a junkyard, but it's pretty interesting!

After 3 days of traveling on the road, arrived at the Kuelhler Cottage. I did not like it, it was very old and dated. The owner, Tom, showed us some other properties including a treehouse type of residence which I instantly liked and was happy to upgrade to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the treehouse. It had an awesome view that we enjoyed while a rain storm was going on (highlight). It also had an interesting pool that was available to all residences in the quaint treehouse community. It had the most beautiful scenery if you take a walk down to the river, the prettiest I've seen on my entire trip. My dogs enjoyed the freedom of running in the grass without a leash for the first time ever; joy to watch. Wish we could've stayed longer than 3 days, it was rented out, and we had to move to another property. I'd come back in a heartbeat! Love New Braunfels, and staying in the treehouse made our stay extra special. Beds are super comfy too. Thanks for going the extra mile on such short notice Tom!

This will be a fairly detailed review for the 777 Cloud Lane location. The reason being, I did a lot of searching for the perfect place to celebrate our family vacation. We have a blended family and everyone needed their own space. The property checked all the boxes for the group we had. Originally we rented both bungalows and the Redwood Treehaus, but upgraded the redwood to the grand lodge so that we could have a bigger kitchen and indoor social space. We had no problem upgrading even though it was 2 weeks away from check in, that’s a plus! The staff was polite and accommodating to our special requests, mentioned below. Bungalows: They were nice and cold at check in and the beds were comfy. They were also a reasonable price for the units. Would stay in these units again for sure! Grand lodge: Massive! This house is the perfect multi family rental. Pros: We were able to check in to all units at 1pm. Early check-ins are always nice! The kitchen is beautiful and there was plenty of space for our group to eat and socialize. There were plenty of dishes and cookware. The custom wood tables were amazing. Beds were comfy. Upstairs bathroom is phenomenal. Cons: After walking around for 10min barefoot our feet looked were gross, the floors had to be remopped, they sent someone out immediately! Upon arrival it felt cool, but only in the main living area (we did check in early so I guess ACs hadn’t been on long). The rest of the house was warm. Unfortunately it took until the following evening and 3 fans to cool off. The vents in the upstairs are blocked by the beds, so circulation of cold air was minimal. We purchased a fan the same day as check-in. We ended up requesting a couple more fans the next morning and they were delivered within the hour! The furniture in the main living room was very old, stained and worn, good luck getting out of them. They were not comfy at all. A few of the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen don’t work quite right but overall it worked for what we needed it for. The oven didn’t not work. The two bedrooms on the bottom floor are the rooms we requested fans for, air circulation isn’t great in that area. The upstairs had a musty smell and required a whole can of air freshener and a couple plug ins, and as you walk in to the master suite there is a wall that is stained yellow with what looks like moisture or condensation dips, it’s very off putting. The carpets could use a shampoo and the walls/doors are pretty stained. Amenities: The outside was great! We battle a couple wasps nest, but they provide bee spray in a couple locations. It’s outdoors, bees are trying to live their best life. The kids play area kept my daughter busy. The pool was refreshing and huge. It really does give you that resort feeling. It’s a short walk to the lake, with deep water. There is a ladder that makes getting out a breeze! Conclusion: Other than a good deep clean and a couple minor maintenance issues, the place worked for us and I’m pretty sure some of our group will be reserving there again next summer. If staying in the lodge, it would be AFTER they put some newer furniture in there, did a deep clean and addressed the minor maintenance issues. We do plan on staying in the future; We would like to check out the other houses on the property!

Terrible, absolutely filthy, not just not cleaned well it had not been dusted in years the walls were covered in thick dust. It started raining and in multiple areas water started pouring in. We emailed that we would be leaving. The owner came and offered a different unit, we showed him the filth and he said, it's a tree house "experience". I have been to multiple doctors for a fungal infection after staying there one night, the rain must have activated mold spores that were in the ceiling. We went there the first week in June and I'm still coughing from being there 12 hours on the first of September. I was refunded the remainder of my days except the day I stayed and of course a cleaning fee. I got out of there as fast as I could forgetting my drone. I spoke with the office the next day, they located the drone and said they would send it back to me. Weeks later I called again, the office said yes, they will be sending it back to me. Since then they do not answer my calls or return my voicemails. Im a business owner I don't write reviews because I know there are two perspectives on most things. You should have just sent me my drone and I would have left it at just informing your office of my concerns of an unhealthy environment.
