Iron Horse Grill of New Braunfels for lunch . It was the perfect temperature outside today to enjoy sitting outside. Our son made a new friend while playing on the playground. The food was great and the service was fast . We always love eating here.

Fun Live Trivia on Wednesday evenings, the MC is terrific. We also enjoy dinner with trivia and the service and food is always great.

When I think "Home made" and "Americana" this place is the one I imagine. A place of modest size, but incredible taste. The wood furniture and overall feel of this place puts one at ease in a way that other bars and diners fail to do because of its genuine lived in feeling. This place seems to have been here for a while, but doesn't get the respect that it so rightly deserves. Friendly wait staff and bartenders more than willing to chat and a burger that puts to shame any other I've had in this town, this place is somewhere to stop by for the taste of that alone. If you can stop by, be sure to. And if not? Try to make some time.

Anna is a great bartender and the food is excellent. I went to iron horse 3 times this week since I'm heading back to San Antonio today. Sebastian and Shelby are also great bartenders and friendly. The mushrooms were very big and delicious. I tried a senior burger. The fries with cheese, chili and jalapeños were delicious. I tried the broccoli and cheese soup. Everything was very delicious. Will be back.

This place is a local hole in the wall burger joint that serves beer. If that's not enough, the burgers are great and the beer is cheap!!! Still not enough... the onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and fried okra are great! If you like crispy fries, then you are out of luck. However, if your like my wife and like them a little floppy, she says their great too. The Bossman Burger is terrific and the wife loves the Bacon Cheeseburger.

I came to karaoke!! Holy smokes, this place is cool!!!!! i love the stage, sound, the draft beers are huge & the food was soo yummy! The karaoke host was really nice and encouraging! I made new friends and they said come sit with them next week! So excited!!!! So happy to have found Iron Horse!!! Can't wait to come back and pig out the menu!!!!

Found this place while at a competition in New Braunfels. Our waitress Khoal was superb. She made sure we were taken care of for our entire meal. Ordered meals for 7 and it didn't disappoint. Chips and salsa were right on. Burgers were juicy and delicious. Chicken fried steak was perfect with a crispy and flavorful crust. Enchiladas were sooo yummy. Entire group was more than satisfied! We watched the football game in the backroom. Plenty of TVs inside and put. Bar on location and outside seating as well. They even had a live band. Highly recommend!

Always great service and even better burgers, probably the best in New Braunfels. The sweet potato fries are definitely the best in town, crunchy and perfect. My burger was so good I ate half of it before setting it down once. If you haven't been here yet, Go!

This was our first time here! We were surprised by an amazing outdoor area where the kids have a playground to play on. For us a huge plus point! Our server Kim was such a wonderful and kind person. She was super friendly! Food was very delicious and the kitchen was very quick! So we didn’t wait long also a big plus point when you’re out eating with kids! 🤭 thanks for the great evening! We’ll be definitely back!

Great staff, Patrick was very nice and knowledgeable of food and restaurant. The food was hot and cook right. Our order was correct and ready within good timing. They had live music, and we were able to catch the last few songs. They had a playscape area & games for kids.

First off what an amazing lil place to eat. The burgers were absolutely delicious one of the best I have ever had our waitress Koryn was the best very polite and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone,cant wait to visit this lil place again GOD BLESS

Okay so here it is… one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and it was paired with delicious hand cut, real fresh French fries that were delicious and filling. I had the Mushroom and Swiss burger and it was plenty big I could only eat about half especially because I couldn’t stop eating the fries!! The band playing was The Boys Wilson and they were absolutely amazing!! I hope to return and see these guys playing again soon while I enjoy another great plate. Next time I will definitely be bringing my kids since it’s family friendly and the back patio is HUGE, plus I noticed a game or two out there like maybe connect four, corn hole.

We came to hear Bonnie sing. The rain didn't hold us back, we still came. Enjoyed the food, the drinks, the crowded patio and even danced a couple songs. It was a great night with friends.

today for lunch, I had the avocado salad. The presentation was outstanding and the taste was exceptional. They nailed it. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer and watched a football game.

this Was mine and my family‘s first time here and let me tell you I have never had better service at any restaurant like the service I got tonight. There was only two servers and it was very busy. I could not believe how quick both of those girls were with everything with big smiles on both of their faces at all times. Our server annalee was phenomenal with such a good attitude even after one of her other tables continued to interrupt her while taking other orders. We were a little skeptical about this place but the food and service was on point. HIGHLY RECOMMEND we will be returning!!

Had a great time checking out the live music and enjoying some fresh fried Oreos around the fire! I didn’t expect such a nice outdoor patio space but it was perfect for a drink and snack with the pups! Will definitely be back!

Awesome joint.... Down home bar with great food. It will come out when it's done so think about how long it takes to cook a burger at home... it's worth it. James the bartender has some stories and being in this industry for 20 years I know he's a proper one. Go and enjoy... they have a patio that's beautiful and they are dog friendly if your dog isn't a maniac! Great place.

Must Try! In a town where there's lots of overpriced tourist traps and gimmicks - this is the hidden gem. Relaxed, indoor or outdoor seating (with shade, fans, and large screen tvs), excellent food (much better quality than the typical bar or even grill), live music, and extremely good service! I was excited to see that their drinks were high quality, mixed and strained, and a wide variety of options from wine and sangria to mixed and beer. Relaxed atmosphere but high quality food, drinks, music, atmosphere, and service - wow what a great blend! Will absolutely be back!!

Laid back atmosphere, good drinks, good food, at a not so high price tag!! The burger was delicious, one the best 5 I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of burgers. Yea if you are trying to decide come here….

WOW- The Iron Horse is surely a hidden gem! This quaint roadside, country, rustic 1980 decor bar is serving up some amazing burgers. They have several specialty burgers at super Affordable prices for the quality and size of portions. Jalapeno Popper Burger- home made bun grilled and dressed with the freshest veggies, grilled onion, and quality cheeses accompany the home made hand pressed burger patty, which is then topped with bacon and a slices in half cream cheese popper where the cream cheese oozes over the meat!!! Only down side was the fries were not crispy😁

Nice place, food is good, kids can play at the playground. Usually bathrooms are clean. My favorite fried pickles and onion rings.

Great atmosphere for families! Five stars for live music and a playground next to the dining area! We went with our children and there were several other children there playing, they had a blast on the tire swing and playing with the wood blocks. The food was good too! Check this place out for a great relaxing evening.

Cool lil spot. First time there and my male bartender during the day was super friendly. The burger was good. I will say that $13 or more for just a burger with no side is pretty steep for a dive bar. So if I had to suggest anything it would be to include fries with that price.

We are from out of town on business and came here for some good home cooked food. Man we were amazed!! The food was amazing and our waitress Sophia was so sweet and friendly. We will be back for sure.

Best burger in town and it's actually cooked how you ask. If you're passing through or moving to town this is a must try. I've been here several times, typically getting the Texas Heat Burger. The burger is actually spicy, tastes great, and is actually cooked how I want it. Getting anyone to cook a burger near medium rare is a chore. I strongly recommend it on the food alone. Otherwise this is a classic little dive. A bit old. Rough around the edges. But the service is great, the atmosphere is nice, and I've never had issues here. Strongly recommend it.

What a fantastic surprise. Wanted to try something different and this was outstanding. Our party had the Queso burger with jalapeños, the Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken fried steak and the Texas Club. These meals were amazing. Sides were sweet potato fries, home cut fries, mashed potatoes and green beans. We ended up sharing with each other because it was all so good. Thank you for a memorable meal.

Robin was amazing. I went on Sunday and he said right away they were short staffed and could be while for food. I didn't mind. He had a group walk out on him and he noticed as he was bringing out about 8 drinks for them. When our food was being brought out my a girl working, she tripped and dropped food. I felt so bad. I didn't mind waiting. But through out the whole experience, Robin kept a smile on his face and never showed any frustration. He was so, so, so amazing. I would go back just for him. And food was really good.

We arrived just after 8 on trivia night (next time, we’ll plan better). Our server was vibrant, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely helpful. Food-wise: One friend ordered a half order of nachos Another went with the Mushroom Swiss Burger—always a crowd pleaser I had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time I love hot, spicy food and have a high tolerance, so choosing between the Bossman and the Habanero burger was a decision. I went with the Habanero—and wow. It was fantastic. The kind of heat that stops you for a second… lips quivering and all. Absolutely worth it. I can’t wait to be back in town to go again. Fantastic, fun, local experience.

This place is the perfect little stabby dive — in the best way possible 😄. Generous drinks, awesome prices, and it’s super close to the freeway and just a short stumble—uh, walk—from our hotel (shoutout to the Coratel Inn! 🏨🙌). The vibe is pure old-school charm: dark wood, neon signs, and that classic dive bar magic ✨. The bartenders and barbacks were incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can tell they love what they do ❤️. We didn’t try the food, but it smelled amazing 🍔🔥. Even though we visited during the day, you can feel that this place absolutely comes alive at night 🎶🍹. Totally our kind of spot — chill, friendly, and full of character. We tried a little bit of everything and everything was 🔥: The chicken fried carne asada street tacos were wild—in the best way. The chicken fried steak was massive, beefy, and cooked to perfection. The 808 burger with a Pina Le (yes please!) had that perfect sweet-savory combo. And the pulled pork sandwich came stacked with all the fixings—messy, juicy, and worth every bite. The service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and on point. And to top it all off, we caught a live band called The Night Crawlers. They crushed it with a setlist that hit everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix to Los Lonely Boys, Opeth, and Blackberry Smoke. Total vibe. Great food, great music, great people. Highly recommend—and I’m uploading a video so you can see for yourself. 🎶🍔🌮🤘

Always a must when we visit New Braunfels. Staff is friendly, it's impossible to have a bad evening sitting on the back porch, and we've never experienced anything short of excellent food. Pick any burger- you won't be disappointed. Buns are toasted to perfection, patties are well seasoned, lettuce and tomatoes are always fresh. My personal fave is the grilled pineapple burger. My husband prefers the bacon cheeseburger. Don't pass up some fried okra on the side- so crispy!

Great food. We enjoyed the burgers and onion rings. The onion rings were one of the best we have had! Very tasty. Bring your appetite, very Large portions. The burgers were 1/2 lb. size! Atmosphere is very basic, nothing fancy. Basic tables and chairs, very laid back. We enjoyed it.

First time visiting and it was amazing. We all had hamburgers, all made up different and they were delicious. The home cut French fries were OMG! It was a beautiful night so we brought our dog and sat outside and listened to the entertainment, and had such a great time. The vibe is very low key, and the waitstaff were very attentive. We were dubious about even going inside because it. Is. A. Dive. It needs some attention and a good leveling and cleaning. BUT, The service was great and the food was exceptional!! Presentation looked like something from a Michelin starred restaurant. Will go back for sure.

If only the A/C was a little stronger, but other than that, my burger was super good, the thicker fries were under cooked but that happens and really I just wanted half anyways, bar tender is awesome and he makes great drinks and is just the right amount of friendly. I'll be back.

I heard some things about this place and decided to stop in and get a bite to eat for lunch. Everything was okay everything was pretty good I'm about to come back again to get a second opinion.

We love this place for a home-cooked tasting lunch menu! The hostess and wait staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. We usually don't have to wait long from ordering to receiving our food. The food temperatures are what they should be. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Like most places their generous portions have down-sized a bit, but prices have stayed close to same. My only complaint is the meatloaf has a been a bit on the spicy side for my liking the last two times I had it. It's almost like the meat loaf is seasoned the same as the meat in the shepards pie.

Hamburgers are great. Chicken fried steak is good but not wow. Fun place for kids to run around/play in the back. Best to go on nights when the have a live band playing. Beer is a tad too expensive and they could improve the selection but otherwise good.

Stopped in after some shopping on Saturday. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's worth giving it a try. Our server was outstanding. She took very good care of us without hovering. We ordered a BLT, Philly, and bbq bacon burger. We also decided on some chips and queso while we waited. The chips seemed to be stale to us, but the queso was good. My spouse really enjoyed the Philly, and the onion rings we good but could have been better if they were hot. My burger was good, but it needed some seasoning and a bit more bbq. I like the bbq to be subtle, but I couldn't even taste it. The blt was also good, but the bread was saturated it butter and became soggy by the time it reached our table. There are places of improvement, but overall, a good experience.

1ST off ... Food is delicious 😋 When you first see it looks like a hole in the wall place, rustic old country style, I don't care much about the inside of this place, definitely could use a make over. But the outside area looks much better, comfy/cozy outback feel, Plenty of seating, a few Big TVs to watch your favorite sports. A little stage for performers to play. ( Music 🎶 ) I've only had the burger and chips and queso, 100% recommended 👌 it's huge and delicious plus there homemade fries omg must have.. I did get a Philly cheese steak sub togo for my dad with the grilled onions and peppers he said it was really good and he would order it again.. My only bad comment would be they charge you extra for everything, extra ranch, mayo, extra toppings on things... I know alot of other places don't charge for ranch or mayo? I think if you can bring me a squeeze bottle of Ketchup there should be a squeeze bottle of mayo lol.. and if I'm going to pay extra for ranch it better be a bowl of ranch not this tiny little sample lol

Arrived with a "reservation" called in a few days before and were told that the staff for that day had not been informed of our group coming. On top of that, we were told it happens all the time. The place is pretty small inside with some outdoor seating outside so I surprised they took a reservation at all. We did end up getting seated at the raised tables in front. Other than that, the food and service were good and the place was pleasant. The handcut fries were like those I had been missing since we went to the Stallion Restaurant in Austin back in the 70s. The senior cheeseburger with the fries was just the right amount. The other burgers are pretty big. I don't know that we'll come back as a group but my wife and I will likely return. The 3 stars are only because of the reservation issue. 9/21/25 - Visited again and this time they were aware of our reservation but I did call before we showed up just in case they weren't aware of our reservation. Food was still great as was the service. We are now outside of tourist season so it wasn't as busy a place but they were well staffed. This time they did have a couple of people playing guitars and singing in the outside area. It was piped inside so we could hear. When it cools off some, we may try the outdoor area.

This place is nice to hang out. They have live music and the food is good. I’ve had their Swiss mushroom burger and I really like it. However this last time I tried their Chicken fried steak. It was okay, not much flavor to the meat if you would take off the crust. (As I usually do when it’s over crusted, because then I feel I’m just eating batter) The Mac n cheese was good, but the green beans had no flavor as well. Very bland even after I put salt and pepper on them. My hubby got the Philly cheese steak sandwich and he said it was good. Overall I like this place and they offer a variety of meals on their menu, but I may stick to the burger.

First time coming here to experience the ambiance of a popular local bar and restaurant. I had a drink at the bar with a friendly bar tender on this visit. I didn't order food, but the aroma of food coming from the kitchen was very nice. There is an outdoor seating area with ample space and an outside stage for live music. Check their schedule for Karoke night and other live music events. Enjoy! I prefer my drinks on draft. No draft was available on my visit.

We've been coming to this restaurant for many years and have always loved it. We were there Sunday afternoon and I don't know if there's been an ownership change or what, but it just wasn't the same. Instead of ordering at the counter upon entering, you order at table. We waited probably 15 minutes before a very nice young man finally took or order. Which would be understandable if the place was packed, but it was mid afternoon and not crowded AT ALL. Food came and it was actually pretty good. Never had another person come ask about drink refills the entire time we were there. The bathroom was horrible! Plenty of staff there, but they weren't doing anything! I watched an employee come out of ladies restroom so she saw the mess and did nothing about it. Atleast tell a manager so it can be addressed. We truly hope things improve This is one of our favorite places 🌺

Waited 30 min to discover they put the order in wrong so never got to taste the food just took the refund. Service was ok atmosphere ok. I may try again but not anytime soon.

Queso we some of the best in town. Best part is that it's bottomless! Burger was ok, but not the best I've had in NB. Fries and tots were ok too. Nice atmosphere for some good queso and cold drinks!

First, the map sends you to the opposite end of the street from where the restaurant actual is. It's not by HEB. We saw the sign about not serving fast food, but the time it took to get our food was extreme. From the time we sat down to the time we left was over an hour. Dirty fork put on the table, it was rather warm inside due to the limping AC unit making all kinds of racket, unlevel floors and sticky tables. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food was decent. No mention of the extra charge for onion rings. Menu says any two sides. We were checking the place out for a trivia option on Wednesday nights. Not gonna work out.

A unique dining experience with good food and a very cool vibe to this place. The servers seemed to be a little more preoccupied. Then i've seen in other restaurants, and I found this to be the downfall of our evening. We travel a lot for our work assignments, and I had high hopes for this place, but it just fell into the average category. However, I do have to call out an amazing appetizer that were cheese sticks with pepper, jack cheese. The servers might want to curb their habits until after work, to make for a better experience at the restaurant.

Love the food but your server sophia was very visibly drunk and constantly forgetting things we needed. First bad experience here and hopefully the last.

The day we went, it took an hour and a half to get our meal. Was warned ahead of time it would take a while due to 2 cooks walking out. Unfortunately the burgers were cold and the fries very soggy when we did get them. The waitress was apologetic and we still tipped her, she was stressed enough! We will give it another try.

The burgers are amazing and easily our favorite in town. However, the service is frequently slow. On our most recent visit for a birthday, I attempted to use a $10 birthday coupon that I had received the day before, only to be told they no longer honor those coupons. It was frustrating and disappointing, especially since the coupon was just issued. The food keeps us coming back, but experiences like this take away from the overall experience.

The setting is casual and very chill, they have plain tables and chairs that give it a very laid-back vibe. They also host karaoke on Wednesday nights, which adds a fun, lively touch. The main drawback is the service that tends to be slow sometimes so there are times when it feels like the staff isn’t paying much attention.

Great place if you want to wait ten minutes for a lukewarm bottled beer. Better yet even a longer wait if you want to try and order another beer. Service was not very good and staff really didn’t pay attention nor seemed to even want to pay attention. Food was just ok. Nothing great and so many better places to enjoy here in NB.

Our anniversary dinner at Iron Horse was a truly disappointing experience. While we understood they were understaffed and our waitress was clearly overwhelmed managing a large party, the experience went downhill quickly. My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken, but when our food arrived, the waitress mistakenly called it chicken fried steak and then joked that they all looked the same to her. We corrected her, but things got worse when my grilled chicken finally arrived, and my husband cut into his "chicken fried chicken" to find it was indeed chicken fried steak. We tried to get our waitress's attention, but she had already left the room, and we weren't checked on for what felt like an eternity. My husband was hungry, so he reluctantly ate the incorrect dish rather than wait an indefinite amount of time for the right order. When our waitress finally returned, we brought up the mistake. She claimed she had even double-checked our order and went to speak with the manager about it. To our dismay, the waitress returned to inform us that the manager refused to do anything because we hadn't said something immediately. Not only did the manager not bother to speak with us directly, but they also penalized us for their kitchen's error and the slow service that prevented us from addressing it sooner. While the food itself was okay, the dismissive attitude of the management and the significant error with our order completely soured our special occasion. We still tipped our hardworking waitress, as the fault clearly wasn't hers, but we definitely won't be returning to Iron Horse. It's a shame the manager's poor handling of the situation overshadowed what could have been a pleasant celebration and experience.

Our party was five and we passed on our first choice of table because they were bussed but had crumbs. Another party was seated there and adding an extra table but it was still dirty. Our menus for four adults included two very dirty and sticky menus which we had to hold by the edges. Nacho plate was good but two orders were wrong including a burger with cheese. They handed that plate back to the cook (their words) and they just scraped the cheese and grilled it some more. When returned, it had cheese still melted into it. This is not acceptable and given another review about allergens, a bit scary. My own burger was a little dry but passable, but it was my fries that didn’t seem fresh. The manager was apologetic and adjusted the bad burger and gave us a courtesy discount. I was concerned about the overall cleanliness of the place and noted how filthy the return air ducts are and the ladies room was not up to par. The salt and pepper shakers are sketchy (well, that’s from the wife). Perhaps a bad day? I do note some pictures posted on another review looked much better than our burgers and fries today, so perhaps there’s a staff issue involved.

The sewer smell is unbearable. We moved outside to the deck and could still smell the sewage. It was difficult to down the food and we should have just taken it to-go. Hope they start fixing it up, it's a NB staple.

We decided to try this place while truck getting detailed. Burger wrap was absolutely delicious. Perfect seasoning and juicy. Wife had the taco salad , what a mess . Came out cold , nice amount of jalapeños, etc . But the shell had about an inch of water in the bottom rendering half the salad inedible. It was a soggy flooded mess . Waitress ( didn’t have a name tag or uniform shirt ) was delightful and saw the mess of a salad and offered to remake it. I said no , we’re on lunch break and have limited time. The Bill came , I thought at least they would take a few bucks off but they didn’t. Oh well. The mushrooms were delicious. The inside has zero decorum. It’s a biker bar ? Beer signs, neon , jukebox, Harley memorabilia or signs , or even a few posters?

I have had numerous good experiences here and love the burgers. But it smells in here. As soon as you walk in there is a bad odor. Very off putting. Smells like sewer or drain problems. Please fix this

⭐️⭐️ It’s a fun spot with good energy, but the food just hasn’t held up. The burger was bland, fries were oily and floppy, and the chicken fried steak, once a favorite, came out tough and falling out of the breading. Probably better for the nightlife and drinks than grabbing a decent lunch.

We have been to this restaurant many times with minor issues in the past but this was the worst. First they added way more on our bill because someone else in our party wasn’t charged correctly. (Signed one bill charged differently at bank) They were very short staffed the nite we were there & that we could understand but when my husband went back to discuss it with the manager he was dismissive & offered us nothing if we returned. We were out on the picnic tables & it caught & ripped his jeans in two places. Nothing! If you’re the owner and reading this you need to fire your manager & hire someone with better people skills. Our group came for Karaoke but we’ll find another place to go.

I was excited to try Iron Horse based on the reviews and recommendations from other NB residents, but goodness was I disappointed as soon as I walked in to pick up the order I placed via phone (no online ordering that I could find). I will say that I absolutely would have turned around and walked right back out without ordering if I had not already placed my order, it smelled that bad in the restaurant! You guys, it straight up smelled like an open toilet! The smell hits you right as you walk in, and it doesn't get better the longer you stay in there. I had to wait out front for my food because I was getting sick from the smell. A restaurant should smell delicious, so I do not understand what is going on with Iron Horse. This isn't the first old building-turned-restaurant I have been to in the NB area that has this issue, but it is by far the worst. The excrement smell was just oozing out of very surface, I cannot understand how there were people just sitting in there like it was nothing. I know long time smokers can have a dulled sense of smell, so maybe that explains it? I mean no disrespect to the other patrons, I just honestly cannot understand it. I actually smelled when I got home and had to change before I could eat my food, and the bag smelled as well. It also took 40 minutes for my food to be made when I was originally quoted 15, which really isn't acceptable for just a single burger and okra. They get 2 stars because the staff were friendly and the burger was actually delicious. I got the Bacon Bleu burger (cooked medium) and it honestly was crazy good. But I could not ever go back because the smell of that building was just SO BAD. Like, they need to close for a couple days and have an intense cleaning from top to bottom! The okra was meh, it lacked any kind of seasoning but was cooked well. There was a weird moment when the cook in the back asked one of the young men working what truffle oil is. Somehow neither the cook nor the young man knew what it was, which is super strange considering that it is a pretty common ingredient. No effect on my rating for that, I just thought it was weird. Sadly, I cannot recommend Iron Horse to anyone due to the issues I mention above. Also, the price for a burger and the small side of okra was about $20, so definitely not cheap.

We stopped in since the reviews were pretty good. The food tasted great and it would have been better if we got what we ordered. I ordered the philly cheese steak with fries. They did not have the typical hoagie roll, so I agreed to the hamburger bun. My sandwich was soggy on the bottom and the fries were cold. My wife ordered the grilled cheese and soup, they didn’t have the soup she wanted, so another substitution. We were in shortly after opening and the rest room was filthy. So this makes me wonder what the kitchen is like! I might have given them a break on this if it was later in the day, but not at 1120 AM. We won’t be back!

Bartender was awesome. But their "famous" queso was bland, cold, and clumpy. I had to ask for a little salsa to try to mix in to give it flavor. I could hardly scoop it with a chip that didn't break into pieces because it was so cold and thick. Their homemade chips were bland with no salt. Severely unimpressed.

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while. Lots of options on the menu and the prices looked reasonable. I decided to get a cheeseburger and a bowl of chili. The cheeseburger was $10, but I ordered the senior cheeseburger instead because it was only $9. You never know what you're gonna get with chili, so I asked for a sample, but they don't do that so I ordered a bowl anyway. When the food arrived, the hamburger looked like the junior burger you would see at a fast food burger chain. It was tasty, but had I known it would be kid sized, I would have paid the extra dollar. I mean, $9 for a 4 oz burger? The chili had a layer of grease floating on top of it when it arrived. It came with onions and cheese, which wasn't on the menu, I hadn't asked for it, and didnt want it, so I spooned as much of the onions and grease out as I could (see photo). It tasted good, but I couldn't eat much before I could feel that greasy chili settling in my stomach. The service was good, but with a drink my bill was $21. For a kids burger and the greasiest chili I have ever eaten. And I've eaten a lot of chili.

First of the restroom is so dirty that I wouldn't even make my worst enemy even get close to it. And the inside is so old that it looks like Billy the kid dined here once. It looks like a haunted house there is cobwebs everywhere, the ceiling is torn everywhere, and the vents are filled with mold. The salt shaker is so old that it belongs in a museum and it looks like u could get tetanus just from looking at it.

I have enjoyed their food a couple of times. However my latest order was for pickup and the system said it would be 15 minutes. We tried to pick up at the designated time and was told that it would be another 15 min. 30 minutes after that my order still was not ready. The excuse was that they got slammed. There were not a that many people in the place and they seemed to have plenty of staff. One of our items was sitting under the heat lamps the entire time we were there. There actually a lot of other people’s food also sitting under the heat lamps the entire 30 min we were there. To top it off one of the items was not available and they could not figure how to refund the price. So we had to leave LATE with DRIED out OLD food without all of our order.

Avoid this place! My boyfriend and I went there this weekend, he had a Gouda burger and ended up with food poisoning! ( ZERO stars)

Went tonight and was greeted to a very bad sewer smell before entering the restaurant. Upon entering we were not greeted politely. Instead they just informed us that the kitchen closes in 20 minutes. We felt like we were being rushed. We ordered mushrooms and the avocado ranch burger. They were good but the mushroom serving seemed smaller. Ordered a beer but was told they were out. Settled on sweet tea just to find out no refills because they were cleaning the fountain and tea area. Overall just a bad experience tonight.

First time going there, and last…… went there for lunch and they were roaches in the dining area, one of them crawl onto the top of our table. Canceled our food order and left, employees were not surprised at all.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!! I’d rate this place a big fat ZERO if I could. Food is trash, drinks are even worse, the owner doesn’t seem to know how to run a business correctly. It’s gone downhill FAST over the last year and I’m disappointed. Do better and treat your people better. Smh.

I hate to do this, because I actually love their food. And the service is pretty good, But I went there with my family today and as I'm sitting there with my parents, there was a cockroach climbing on the corner of the table that I had to flick away before my mom saw it. I told her it was a wasp and everything was cool and my dad played along with it, but when another one came running across the floor from the opposite direction it was kind of hard to play that one off. Although they did not charge us for the two sweet teas and my dad's bud light, I was pretty disappointed that I didn't get my sweet potato fries and Bacon Popper Burger. If roaches don't bother you, this place is 'A-plus'.

we've tried to eat here 5 times in the last 3 months. each time we enter, its the worst sewer smell, coming from the main area, ten feet from the kitchen, its so bad, that i almost threw u up twice. i have only thrown up once in my life. they ah==have every excuse in the book, yet wont fix the sewer or the smell, health dept hasnt done anything. hope the city closes it down

This place is so hit or miss depending on new management, staff, and or owners! We used to love this place and came back tonight after not eating here for a while. 1st, the smell from the bar was so bad, on top of waiting over 45 minutes for food, & still not being served, After telling staff we we were not waiting any longer, and we were leaving, not even one apology. So sad of such a quaint little venue we used to love so much!

So today at 11:30 I placed a pick up order and was told time would be 15-20 minutes. Didn’t even get the food until 12:30 w multiple issues w the kitchen just getting the food. Get home and the soups are like custard which were for my sick kiddos and the taco salad bowls are burned to a crisp w very little meat. The loaded fries were ok except you would get the paper lining w the food.. then we find hair in our food… I called to complain about all the issues and was told there is no manager until 4… no manger on duty.. $49 for my bill when not even half was eaten

Good God our waitress is comparable to the wal mart checkout line. Non existent. No silverware, napkins plates appetizers, nothing without asking specifically. I haven't had service this bad in a minute. The excuse was well I'm sorry, we are really busy and its not my fault. Full of locals that get helped right away. The racism was burnt into my skin. Do better. Seriously. Will not ever return and I'm a local.
