Asian fusion with a delightful flair. Beautiful 3 story spot with quaint seating. Loved the grilled octopus which was so tender and paired with purple potatoes. Loved the big tuna wafer, mayo base layered with tuna. It’s like nothing over had before but decadence at its best. Crispy rice tuna was delicious. Tried the lobster roll and I’d probably pass on it next time. Other star of the show was the mochi ice cream. Tried all the flavors! Wonderful and attentive service and a special spot in SoHo.
Outstanding restaurant definitely better than the neighbors directly next to them and also a way better value. Service was fast and attentive to all request. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything we had was five stars. Will be one of my must visit spots when visiting new york.
I had an outstanding dining experience at BONDST. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt both elegant and relaxed, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening. The staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making sure every detail was taken care of without being overbearing. The food was simply exceptional. The sushi was among the freshest I’ve ever had in New York, beautifully presented with a balance of flavors that truly stood out. Beyond the sushi, every dish we tried was crafted with precision and creativity, showing the chef’s passion and attention to detail. BONDST is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Whether for a special occasion, a business dinner, or simply a night out to enjoy outstanding Japanese cuisine, this place delivers on every level. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first-class dining experience in the city.
Just an amazing experience!!! Appetizers, entrees, rolls, desserts: everything looks and tastes like supreme artisanship. They put extreme effort into service and presentation.
Bond Street is a sleek and sexy sushi spot with cocktails and quality food to match. As a reviewer for luxury interiors, I highly recommend checking it out. The best part is how good the food is. I like the combination of flavors for the dishes. We had the tuna pizza, beef wagyu, crab roll, shrimp roll and short rib gyoza. Our server was incredibly sweet. Highly recommend trying the Japanese whiskey cocktails too. I’ll be back! Thank you BondStreet
What a find of a place for lunch across the Vessel! I was looking for a quiet place with good food and a view of the Vessel and I sure found it. Not only was the pre-fixed lunch delicious (I ordered Tuna tartar, sushi mix, and ricotta dessert) but the service was impeccable! The host took my luggage to store it while having Lunch. Then, my server Andre took special care of me and celebrated my birthday with a candle with my dessert tray. This made my day so special and memorable. Thank you very much! I hope to return again someday.
Had lunch there and the value for money is amazing. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed.
My boyfriend and I just moved to NYC and we got recommended BondSt by a friend. We pass by on a Friday to see if maybe we could snag some seats at the bar since we didnt have a reservation and Im honestly glad they didnt have any seating. Tom served us at the bar and was absolutely the most delightful person I think Ive ever come across. He was super attentive, gave us great meal recommendations, and more. I dont typically write reviews but Tom’s hospitality really went above and beyond all expectations. If you come here, sit at the bar and ask for Tom! You wont regret it Also get the short rib and red snapper tacos>>>
This was an amazing meal. The sushi and specialty dishes were some of the best I have had. Our server was absolutely amazing, with excellent recommendations and very attentive. The prices were high but we felt it was warranted given the quality and quantity. Highly recommend to anyone on a date, in a party or even for business.
I chose here to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. We had a great time at Bondst. We got 6 different cocktails ( I love smoky mule!) big eye tuna tarts Grilled octopus Spicy crab crispy rice (last time we had tuna crispy rice) Omakase (8pc) which was the best best All of the dishes were amazing! At last we had dessert and treats on the house, which made our hearts warm. Love this place, and will come back soon.
Had a nice time here last night. Service was awesome. Food was good overall, but didn't love the mushroom rice. Torro was nice. One weird thing, when we asked the Maitre'd's helper if we could get a table on the main floor, he was very weird about it and sort of pushed back. Didn't seem to want to even ask the Maitre'd about it. I thought it was a pretty normal request given the stairs were closed and we'd have to take an elevator upstairs.
As we sat down, the very friendly staff handed over some edemame which comes complimentary. We went ahead and ordered 4 apps and a bunch of sushi. The tuna tarts are a must try. We ordered the Scottish salmon tartar which was apart of their specials menu for the night which was extraordinary. We also got the crispy cauliflower as well which was also very good. We both thought that the tuna crispy rice was our favorite app. It was perfectly crispy and the tuna on top was just outstanding. We ordered a few different types of toro and each was better than the last. The fish was super fresh, the staff was all very friendly and very attentive. We ended our meal with the chocolate meltdown which was fabulous as well. I'd highly recommend and I look forward to dinning here again.
Everything about this lounge was IMPRESSIVE, from the walk in to the food . Music was vibing . The food comes out quick , so fresh , basically melt in your mouth quality . Drinks were delicious . Desert , omg I was so impressed and full of. I am now a sushi person because of this lounge . Great for date or gals night out .
I’m more than 15 years of traveling the globe I’m eating at famous restaurants worldwide… I may have found the best. The food was absolutely amazing. Each Japanese inspired dish was flavorful and complex. The cocktails were out of this world and in the most incredible way, it all pails in comparison to the service. Andre knew the menu in every direction and made perfect recommendations while maintaining a friendly demeanor and having fun while being a professional. I could not recommend a restaurant more and feel very honored to have eaten here!!!
This is my 3rd time dining at BondST and this was my best experience yet. We arrived Friday evening, although I had mistakenly reserved the table for Saturday. The hostesses were so gracious and quickly found a way to accommodate us, despite my error. What made our experience next level was the service Devin L provided. Devin was welcoming and gave us the best recommendations when it came to our food and drinks. Honestly, Devin provided us with one of our best dining experiences in Manhattan (rivaling the service we experienced at 4 Charles). Pro tip: Be sure to ask for the “new” lychee martini, followed by the “OG”, and order everything Devin recommends! Thank you for making our date night so special. 💕
Wow!! Everything we ordered was delicious. I don't eat meat or sea food so I had the Red Snapper Taco, amazing! Tuna Crispy Rice, mama mia so good! And the Pan Roasted Salmon, so so delicious!! I know it was a lot of fish, but each dish had it own unique flavor. They have 2 locations.
7th time being here. Food is always great quality. But out of all the times I’ve been here, Devin really made a difference. Loved his attention to detail, suggested I finally try a new dish which I rarely ever do. The yellowtail sezchuan was actually so good. Glad he suggested it. Also just super engaging and felt like I was geniunely being paid attention to and cared about which often gets overlooked in these high volume expensive restaurants
I stopped by here yesterday and was very impressed!!! The service was amazing, friendly, warm, efficient and professional. I felt very welcomed!!! I ordered a chicken caesar salad and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was soooo delicious & fresh; and the dressing was incredible. The ambience and vibes were awesome. Everything was just wonderful. Thanks for a great dining experience!!!!
I absolutely love this trendy Mexican spot! It’s always busy, and there’s usually a line — last time we couldn’t even get in. There were outdoor tables on our street, but they weren’t being served, probably because of a staff shortage. Still, this place is perfect for a fun evening out, a drink with friends, or a casual lunch. It’s clean, well-run, and the quality is consistently high. Maybe the prices are a bit on the higher side for New York, but honestly — I’m happy to pay any price for that guacamole. It’s hands down the best in the city! 🥑🌮🍸
Delicious Mexican spot, loved the pork Al pastor and all the sauces 😍 it was absolutely delicious, all the ingredients were fresh and the service was amazing! Even with all the tortillas and the generous portions, we (a table of 4) felt full (but not heavy and stuffed) after the meal. HIGHLY recommend
Atla in NoHo is a breath of fresh air in the NYC dining scene, offering a refined yet approachable take on modern Mexican cuisine. The space is minimalist and stylish, with lots of natural light and a laid-back, upscale vibe that feels perfect for anything from brunch with friends to a low-key date night. The food is where Atla truly shines. Dishes like the guacamole with pistachios and the corn esquites are thoughtful and flavorful, offering just enough of a twist to feel inventive without being gimmicky. The fish tacos are a must-order—light, crispy, and packed with fresh flavor. Cocktails are equally strong, especially the mezcal-based options, and the agua frescas are a refreshing non-alcoholic choice. Service is attentive but relaxed, in line with the overall atmosphere. Prices are a bit high for casual fare, but the quality of ingredients and the execution justify the cost for the most part. If you're looking for a modern, polished take on Mexican food in a chill yet chic environment, Atla is well worth a visit.
It’s the second time I come here and I have to say I absolutely love this restaurant ! You have to go. All the dishes are delicious. You can share everything. The decoration of the restaurant is great, they have a nice music playlist and the service is amazing. I have to come back a third time. See you soon !
I had green Chilaquiles with chicken, and my husband had the Al Pastor dish. Both were delicious! I’m Mexican so I came in with high expectations, and they delivered. Service was outstanding. I also had the Mezcal margarita, really good 👌. We ordered the churros, they were a good amount, 4 donut churros that were actually quite good, with the dulce de leche dip.
We came for an early dinner, and the place was already busy, but in a good way. We ordered three dishes to share, which were enough for us. The waitress was very nice and recommended a delicious vegetarian dish with mushrooms. I was actually very impressed. The food was spicy, which I love. I will definitely come back!
We went on a Thursday evening around 630. As the night progressed, it got more and more crowded and the music got louder than when we first arrived. If you prefer a place where you could hear yourself, this is not the place to be on a Thursday night. We shared 4 items and each had 2 drinks. While we didn't walk out feeling hungry or unsatisfied, I feel I might have gotten more elsewhere for the same price. However, as they say, it's the company that makes it fun. The service was good and we had a good time.
Place is too dark but apart from that atmosphere is nice. Food was good - nothing too special. Had the chicken soup which had all fresh ingredients but really no flavor in terms of spices or anything. Just goo chicken broth with fresh veggies. Excellent service and the team is incredible. The service was the best part of the visit for sure.
Wanted to try this place for a while, service was good, attentive and efficient, always make sure our cups are full. We came on happy hour which soften the blow but I can't say I left happy with what I got. Food felt just ok, the tacos were fine, nothing to write home about, biggest issue was that the tortillas were cold for whatever reason. Guacamole was pretty bland and chips were a bit oily, good thing they were on happy hour cause I can't imagine paying full price for that. Drinks were also pretty meh. Tasted like mixer, same issue as the guacamole, I can imagine paying 20+ dollars for that quality. Overall I can't say this place feels up to its reputation
The arctic char aguachile ceviche was great- bright, balanced, and flavorful. The guacamole was missing acid and salt, the flavor was flat, and was just average. The tostadas were very hard and not fun to eat! The enchiladas divorciadas were good (I don’t love dark meat and wish it was pulled apart white meat chicken instead), the birria was very good and the Palo Santo Agua Fresca with yuzu and cucumber was lovely. Service-wise, the table was small and the bussing was slow so we had to maneuver around empty plates once our mains came out. We’d go back, but we wouldn’t go running back!
I was flying solo on a Sunday afternoon so came in for an early dinner. Host was lovely - seated me immediately. Rest of the service was a little slow. Was never offered dessert menu, just given the check. Awkward. I love dessert but didn’t get any because that was weird. Guacamole was ok. I remember it being better (pre-covid). Brussel sprout tacos were ok. Quesadilla was meh. Mezcal margarita was ok. I really want to recommend this place but it just wasn’t amazing tonight :(
The food was mid, the drinks were weak, and the service was average. Sone of the worst sushi I’ve ever had and after 3 cocktails I was still sober. This place is beyond overrated.
Pretty disappointing, I wanted to try this place for while. Food was bland and really lacked strong / original flavors that make mexican cuisine so special. Guac was meh, and Brussel sprout tacos really a shame to charge $20 for 2 pieces so small and flavorless. Staff was attentive and nice, but overall this place is not worth the trip.
My friend and I visited on Saturday, July 5th. We tried the Brussel sprout and suadero tacos, al pastor gringa, birria, and the guacamole. For drinks we had the mangonada, margaritas, and an horchata. The stand out items for me were the Brussels sprout tacos, Al pastor gringa, and the guacamole. All of the other items were good but not memorable. The service was acceptable. There was a hiccup where the server charged us for another tables check. There isn’t a way to contact the restaurant by phone. Their automated message states you can contact them by text but that goes unanswered. I was able to resolve the matter by email but did have to spend some time on the phone with my credit card company due to me paying with Apple Pay and the restaurant not being able to find my transaction even after giving the exact amount I was charged.
Overpriced and underwhelming, but this is one persons opinion. We ordered drinks and guacamole. The spicy margarita was spicy, but for $20+ is crazy and the chips for the guacamole lacked salt, so they were not a good compliment to the OK guacamole. It’s not a bad place to bring a date, but there was nothing special about this Mexican food spot. Judge for yourself.
I really wanted to like this place but it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The flavors were a bit bland, and some dishes felt like they were missing that special touch. I had high hopes based on the reviews, but it seems like the hype didn't translate into the actual experience. The ambiance is nice, and the staff was attentive, but when it comes to the food, I was left wanting more. The prices are so expensive almost $30 for 2 pieces of tacos. We ordered guacamole as well the chips are stale and oily. I hope the management look into it and considering their market prices.
I have never been treated so poorly by the host staff at a restaurant. My group had a reservation last Saturday for 9:30 and one member was running a little late but they needed the whole party to seat us. The last member came at 9:39 pm. They offered us a table right by the door opened and closing constantly letting cold air in or we could wait a few minutes as another table in the back was closing out. We opted to wait as it was a birthday dinner and it was 10 degrees outside. We had stood up from our seats at the bar and were standing in the middle of the small downstairs lounge with very little space to walk. We then stood there for 20 minutes with no update from the two hosts until we asked. They did not offer to take our coats like they did other parties, did not offer us menus or water. The two hosts were talking by the host stand. When we inquired about our table 30 minutes after our original reservations the host was rude and argued with us that we declined the first table. If we had known that was the only table we would have said yes but they offered us a choice. At this point we asked if there was any space in the upstairs restaurant because we had been standing for 30 minutes and only then did they check upstairs. They said there was but the party we were waiting for was finally closing out. When we did get to our table it was cramped stools and waiters were constantly walking by above our heads in a very small walkway with plates. One side of the table’s backs was to the bar with again a very small walkway so people walking by the bar were constantly bumping into us. It was not a pleasant environment to eat. The table was very small and could barely fit our entrees. Thankfully our server Ferrari was so kind and made up for the sour start. She was shocked to hear we hadn’t been given menus yet. She did offer us complimentary rose and brought over a birthday candle at the end of the dinner. The food was good but overpriced with small portions ($32 rolls for only 6 pieces). I would not return; the host staff argued and got snappy with us when we inquired about our reservation time and did not apologize or try to rectify the situation at all.
One unacceptable and unethical mistake in the professional restaurant industry can turn a five-star experience into a one-star review, even for a Michelin-guided restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious, the service from Omar was excellent, and the overall dining atmosphere was enjoyable. We ordered guacamole, mackerel aguachile, beef & onion tacos (the onions were barely noticeable), and fried fish steak (which was dry). The appetizers were flavorful and leaned toward the sour side. However, the tacos and fish fell short of our expectations. The spicy margarita and skin-contact wine selection were particularly refreshing. Our server, Omar, was patient, friendly, and professional, answering all my questions with care. However, while sitting at the bar, I witnessed another server, Many, using the same straw to taste two different cocktails before serving them to customers. He pressed one side of the straw with his finger, lifted it, drank from the other end, and then used the same straw to taste another drink. I immediately informed my server when Many brought the drinks to the customers. Omar later returned to tell me that Many claimed he had flipped the straw to the other side. To me, whether he flipped it or not, using the same straw on two different drinks is unethical in the restaurant industry. Moreover, he had been drinking himself, which raised concerns about his judgment. Both my friend and I also did not recall seeing him flip the straw. For the next half hour, he walked past me multiple times but avoided eye contact, further reinforcing my belief that he knew he had acted improperly. After Omar spoke to the manager, she came to talk to us. However, instead of being honest and addressing the issue directly with the customers who drank the cocktails, they simply offered us a dessert. This felt more like an attempt to dissuade us from writing a review rather than a genuine effort to resolve the situation.
