Not the best picture… and I couldn’t decide on which sauce because they’re all amazing. I am always skeptical bbq places but Big O’s was excellent. I got the pulled pork, my husband got the Big O burger, and kids got the classic cheese. Fries were awesome. Peach cobbler was good. Burgers are dropped fresh. And customer service was really inviting. Definitely gives back yard bbq atmosphere which is something midland didn’t have.

Their southern style BBQ is awesome. Whenever I miss Texas, I go here. The flavors are great. The meat are perfect and never dry for me. The sauces added another dimension to the already well seasoned meat. The prices are so reasonable as well.

Seriously such a cool place, and AMAZING FOOD. I got the grilled cheese pulled pork and it came out perfectly warm and not too hot. Fries were seasoned very well, and the mac n cheese is to die for here. My dad loved his burger as well as said he hasn’t had one that great in a while. P.S try their swag sauce on your fries and (Ask for chalk markers) and become a part of the restaurant;)

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SEAR!!!! To get that perfect char on the edge of a PERFECTLY seasoned burger....and still leave it juicy juicy...run down your hand juicy, is NOT easy. Its an ART!!! And THIS PLACE KNOWS how to do it well. I'm a fantastic home cook with VERY HIGH expectations and this place delivers an excellent burger. Now...I gave them 5 stars because I REALLY wanna see them succeed AND because there's no way to give them a 4.9 star. The ONLY tweak this "home chef " would make is...their brioche bun. A+ for using a brioche bun. A+ for grilling it and getting that perfect buttery crispy grilled edge on it. But at the end of grilling , put a domed lid on it for one min, so that bun can steam slightly and soften up a tad. See...now I'm splitting hairs like Jeffrey Zakarian on Chopped 🤣 Who do I think I am lol Oh, i al.ost forgot....decent salt and peppered fries come with your burger and it'll cost you about $2 more than McDonald's...but be 100 X better and better for you. SO RUN don't walk

Exceptional BBQ, every plate our table of four ordered was amazing. The Swagg BBQ on the loaded pulled chicken fries was so good and full of flavor! Prices were reasonable and portions were huge. Omar was very kind and took great care of us. Just passing through town but would go back the next time we are in the area.

Stopped to check out Big Os with my wife for dinner on Saturday night. She got the Philly Burger and had the 3 meat plate pulled pork/brisket/sausage with Mac n Cheese and beans as my side. My wife's burger was thick, which is fine, was cooked a medium, and I thought it was strange they didn't ask us how she wanted it cooked. The burger was smaller than the bun, and the fries were really good. The sausage stole the show on my plate, natural casing, perfectly seasoned and paired well with the Carolina sauce. The brisket and pork both had excellent bark and a beautiful smoke ring but were a bit on the dry side. The Mac was delicious and the beans were doctored up Bush's.... the sauces were meh. The exhaust system for the grill must not be working as the minute you walk in your overcome with the smoke from the grill.

Service was friendly and helpful. My wife's salad with BBQ pork was fresh and delicious. My daughter loved her burger and my pork tacos were excellent.

We randomly stopped in today and we're absolutely impressed! Not only is the food delicious but the staff was friendly, informative and helped me eat on my diet! Atmosphere is fun, creative and joyful! THANK YOU 🫶

The food is great 👌🏼👏 the gentleman that took our order was incredibly friendly, and another gentleman was walking around occasionally checking in and was super friendly, too. We got the Little O Mac and Cheeseburger which was a hand pattied burger with Mac and cheese and bacon, and a side of fries. This was awesome! We also got a Big Mark Sampler Plater to try, unfortunately we got here fairly late so we missed the brisket but everything was amazing. The meats are served without sauce so you can pick your own and I highly recommend O's as someone who doesn't like spice or flavors that overpower too much. The swag sauce was really good on the fries - per the worker's recommendation. We definitely will be back!

Stopped in on a rainy day trip through Midland and it was absolutely worth it! Got the pulled chicken grilled cheese and it was *chef’s kiss* 🤌 Owner was extremely welcoming and told me the story of how he brought his barbecue to Midland by way of Alabama. Some people cook with love, but O cooks with soul!

My fiancé and I have been going to Big O’s for a while, and we’ve always left happy. We checked out the new location this weekend, and it’s looking great so far—they even mentioned plans for live entertainment and a full bar, which will be exciting to see. Some reviews say the meat is plain, but that’s missing the point: it’s cooked so tender it practically melts in your mouth, and the three barbecue sauces take it to the next level. The fries are incredible, and the pulled pork and burgers have been excellent every time we’ve ordered them. If I had one critique, it’s that the menu doesn’t always list everything they offer. That’s actually how we discovered their warm, cakey cornbread—we overheard someone order it once, and now it’s a must-have for us every visit. It feels like a hidden gem, but it’s way too good to keep secret!

Ate at Big O for the first time tonight. It’s apparent that they are still settling into their new location, but THE FOOD is 100% on par with a place that knows exactly how to feed stomach and soul. We chose a variety of dishes - catfish with sides, bbq pork and smoked sausage plate, The Uncle Willie - all were as delicious as the bbq places we’ve enjoyed down in Georgia. From the meal we had tonight, it’s my opinion that Big O is offering some of the best food in the Tri-city area.

Just moved down the street from here so we had to stop in and give it a shot. Reasonably priced and fantastic food. I had the double Hawaiian burger (extra patty for only $2) and my wife got the Mac n Cheese burger. Both of our burgers were great and I was surprised to see that they offered Gold BBQ as well as their special Swagg Sauce. Portions were appropriate, although we wished they gave us a few more fries, we were full for the rest of the day from our lunch meal at 1:00. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Happened upon this establishment while in Midland for softball. Relaxed atmosphere, not stuffy or fancy. Seat yourself, NICE... service was quick and pleasant. My diet recently changed so I was limited, but had to try their Chilli, which I thought was delicious... better than Wendy's (which has been a favorite of mine) and spicier as well. Also had their grilled chicken w/o the bun, or was also good. Daughter had their cheese burger which looked really good and their pretzel bites. I tried one, really good, flavor stood out. Would definitely go back! Just watch out for, cheese was extra, even though it was a CHEESEburger, and the cottage cheese (side), was practically the cost of a 32oz store container of it.

First time coming here. We had a burger and one of the salads. Both were good. Prices are reasonable. It's like cafeteria style, where you go up to order and they bring it to you. If you want a quick meal, it's not bad.

Ordered 3 meats and received 3 different 2oz sauce cups filled a third the way full..something this simple should be obvious not to do. Guess I will enjoy 2 of my wings having some sauce.

Decided to give this place a shot it was horrible nothing but fat and the coleslaw was dry and yellow talk to owner bad attitude and did not care for 15.00 bucks u just get 2 pieces of meat and no sides you will have to pay extra for the sides also was trying to charge $24.00 for the meal enjoy the picture will never go there again or tell others to go I wasted my money to get nothing but fat to eat

I had a hard time finding the place because they don’t have a sign. When I did find it, I called just to confirm they were open because half the inside was covered by a tarp. I was disappointed because they seemed to run out of a majority of their food a few hours before they had closed. Definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here. Not worth the money.

There were two gentlemen u came out n chatted with but me sitting there by myself and said nada to me, same with your waitress!!! I won't Dash for you ever again!!! Nor eat there!!! Pretty crappy customer service for opening a new restaurant!!! Never again and I'll let my friends know as well!!!
