We tried the new Toasted Baguettes. They're awesome. I had the peperoni and girlfriend had the cheese vegetarian style. You really need to treat yourself to these.

Good food. Portions can be small sometimes compared to price. But the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean. They don't seem to mind if you hang out for a while and talk with friends.

I'd really like to provide the highest commendation for Lamarr Tinsley and his entire staff at Panera Bread located at 19662 Nordhoff in Northridge, CA. Their professionalism, courtesy, promptness - all with a willingness to help and even suggest different menu items is just second-to-none. I frequent the cafe nearly every day and it is a highlight of my lunch period as I look forward to the food and warm/friendly service. Because I eat at the cafe, they always check to be sure I have what I need and ask how the food is, as well as if I need anything else. I've NEVER had a meal or experience that wasn't 5-star in every way. Location is clean, parking is easy, and being welcomed by name just makes my day. Lamarr sure runs a great Panera Bread cafe and you can tell that his staff really enjoy working with him. I've been to several Panera Bread locations, all good, but this particular one is by far the very best. Thanks for being there and providing the very healthy options available to eat.

Excellent bakery and sandwiches. Pretty good coffee as well. Great place to stop in for lunch. Order ahead of time from the app, or on site. Either way it's fast and freshly made and tasty. Try the Napa Almond Chicken, or Turkey Avocado, or Tuna if you prefer. All good. Can't go wrong. Each order comes with an apple or bag of chips as a bonus. Choose of breads.

Love their rapid pickup, but sometimes my eagerness gets ahead of myself when I arrive exactly on time and my food was not ready. Love their fresh bagels and cookies selection! Sign up for their rewards program to get free treats from time to time and sometimes even a month of free daily bagel!

Great spot to hang out and enjoy lunch- or a meal. Good food; not too expensive... Clam Chowder is only served on Fridays, not cool, I would love to see this item at least through all the weekend. Sandwiches are tasty; you will not be disappointed

I had placed a rather large order online and came by at the pick up time for the order, however the order had not been started due to a system error. The manager immediately came out and apologized and offered me a free cookie and drink while I wait! Thank you so much ETHAN for coming to the rescue and making it right!

My food was delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. I ordered 1/2 a turkey-bacon sandwich and 1/2 chicken salad, which filled me up. The bread is delicious; I got some French bread on the side and wasn't going to eat it all, but I did.

Started my day driving down to L.A. and decided to stop @ this Panera to get the usual Chicken Frontega ( It was delicious) But this is not about the food.. it's About the people working there! I was greeted 3 or 4 times and got 2 or 3 thank you's. Felt the good energy and culture is at point. THANK YOU ALL, "FELT LIKE A CELEBRITY WHEN I WAS THERE" to say the least😉. My new favorite place! The bagels and pastries are always fresh. The turkey chili is to die for! Has everything I love (well, has onions-don't like those, but they are almost invisible). I just tried the Autumn Squash soup and it was scrumptious!

Needed a light salad dinner for 12 ladies and decided to go with Panera? Catering rep was efficient, professional and helpful. When i asked for some salad toppings to be packaged separately her response was, "we will be happy to do that for you." Delivery was exactly on time by a nice and smiling gentleman. Fuji apple salad w/chicken was fresh and packaged as requested. This is my third catering order from the Northridge location. Their food and catering staff will not dissapoint!

I went around 12:30pm during the week and it was not crowded. The staff at the register were friendly and the pastries looked so fresh, I gave in to temptation.

The tomato soup was perfect! Hot chocolate was also very good. The place is very clean and the service is good. The atmosphere is calm, and there are a lot of food options. I liked it and would recommend to check it out.

One of the workers helped me place my order because I had forgotten my glasses. She was very friendly and kind. I thank her very much and I recommend this place. The food is delicious. Sunday.

Came to Panera Bread after an event with my family. This was my son's selection, I really enjoyed the food, it was very tasty. The staff was very patient while we placed our order with our special needs. The restaurant was very clean. I would recommend and most definitely go back again.

Maple Glazed Bacon and Cheese (and egg) wrap at Panera Bread is super delicious! This was the first time I tried this breakfast menu item. Everything was cooked just right. The bacon was super crispy, the wrap was nice and toasty, and the glaze was mouth watering. I just discovered my new favorite breakfast wrap at Panera Bread. The staff also provided excellent service and the food was delivered quickly. Yum!

I always have a good experience when I visit this branch. Employees are nice and they’re all very helpful. Although I prefer taking my meal home, I wouldn’t mind dining in as they keep their tables and chairs clean and organized. Also, floors are clean and well-maintained. Another thing - one way to evaluate an establishment is to find out how they deal with errors. There was a time when they mistakenly switched my croissant to a cookie, but the manager I spoke with handled the situation well and corrected it right away. PS I like how they’re letting you grab your own coffee now because you can choose put less to make room for milk.

There isn't much to say about Panera that you may not already know, the great thing about these places is that they are pretty consistent with their service and this panera is no different. Although I have never only ordered their bagels I find them pretty delicious enough to take a little drive there.

Love the food here it's pretty darn delicious.. The prices aren't to bad. I like to add also that there employees are very friendly,also helpful.

Soup and sandwich were delicious as always. The shortcoming there is that they don't have enough booths. You feel a little exposed on the tables. All the booths were taken when we got there. There was one open one but a younger faster women beat me to it!

A great place for some awesome pannins. When you are tired of ordering fresh cookies at Mc Donalds or even Subways. These cookies are great. Not only are they baked freshly, but it so soft... i just love getting the cookies here. I come here basically for the coffee and cookies. Once in a while will I come here for the sandwiches or soups. The seating is quite nice, but when it gets super busy during lunch.. it's hard to find decent seating. The parking on the other hand is horrible. Sometimes there is no parking, and you have to park on the street if allowed. Otherwise, come at a different time or day. Thats the bad thing is the parking. the staff is very limited as well, when it comes to cleaning the tables. They need to have someone there at all times ready to clean, because I am not here to clean other's people's messes.

The food was great. The tomato and cucumber salad needed Italian dressing or something but everything else was delish. I wish the pepperoni sandwich came with more pepperoni. I added spinach and tomato to it which made it perfect.

Came into this place while doing postmates. From first glance the place looks neat and clean and the atmosphere is laid back. My only complaint was that the employees did not provide enough support when I asked them for it. They were all too occupied with their tasks. Which is kind of odd since the place did not seem so busy. I asked the front desk girl to point where I could get my postmates order but she didnt know what I was talking about and told me to wait then told me to ask another employee who just pointed me out the bag. Then I find the order wasn't complete.

The tomato soup they have here is really tasty, and so is the cheddar broccoli. I little bit too pricey in my opinion, but the food is wholesome. The bread is also great, considering it's a part of the name.

Service was good. Salad was ok, chile lime chicken salad. Variety of drink options, they have low sugar selections that are great.

Food was no shorter than excellent, on the other hand they really need to get their coffee machines cleaned, all of them! And the restrooms smell like sewer! Everything that was superficial was great, i was bummed they didn’t have soufflés 💔

I came here to get some soup as a recovery meal post-op. The bowl size was perfect and the soup's temperature was perfect too. This was nice since it's so much better than canned soup. The place was quiet and clean. The only small issue is the sign said my food was ready and when I walked up to the counter it wasn't ready. They actually cleared my name from the "ready" stage before it was ready. I'm guessing they must be timed on quickness, so they cheated the system a bit. No worries for me though because today was a leisurely day.

It is never okay for dogs to be in a restaurant. This is what I encountered.

It's a nice and cozy place. Good pastry and bread choices. The servers and cashiers are attentive and nice. It's just that the breads and pastries would taste better warmed a bit. Baked products served in room temp don't taste as good. The coffee is not brewed as strong. Even regular brewed coffee seems stronger than their brews. Overall, I liked the place and got a rewards card. I'll be back again.

I stopped by this Panera bread to get my mom a salad. I found parking easily in the plaza this store is in. I ordered from the kiosk but you can also order with a worker as well. I got the strawberry poppyseed chicken salad. It took some time for them to make it. The inside of this place is outdated. The salad is okay but you don't get a lot and it comes with bread. The customer service here was fine.

Panera Bread does a pretty good job with their way overpriced products. I realize that quality comes at a premium but there should be little justification for some of their pricing. The staff training isn't very good. They don't seem to know the difference between a croissant and a bagel. The last three times that I went there, they messed up. The first time, the croissants were put in a box and placed on a toaster -- this cooks the bottoms and makes them inedible. The next time, they were put in a box on top of lemon cookies. Although the croissants didn't pick up the lemon flavor from the cookies, it made eating grilled grilled fish on a sweet croissant an interesting experience. The third time, my croissants were put into a box that was too small. To make them fit, the flaky layers were pushed down, eliminating the main reason for buying croissants. The croissants are not always consistent. Sometimes they're very small, sometimes they're huge, and often they're right. The bakers have to know when to put these into the oven. The staff is usually friendly. They know to put gloves on before handling food, but pricing and errors in treatment of their products makes it hard to rate them higher than thus.

Just ok, sad portions of meat in sandwiches, smaller portions than before for a higher price. The soup is can quality in my opinion although the bread is very good, usually fresh and salads fairly good. I only eat here if im in a hurry out of convenience but typically two sandwiches with soup meals with no drinks will cost me 26.00 including tax. The staff is nice however there are better and more budget friendly places that wont do the corporate nickel and diming dance. Also, the last time i ordered chicken tortellini, they put lunch meat in the pasta, covered it with parmesan. When i inquired the girl said " we have the other chicken too" . Um ok so why give me a cheap quality chopped lunch meat in my pasta?

I love Panera bread but my experience today and yesterday was not so well. Yesterday I order chicken noodle soup and literally barley had any chicken. I ordered the same thing and go some random soup.

The staff was really nice but the food wasn't so nice. I've had the green goddess salad before at a different Panera and it was amazing, this one was somehow bland and I found a hair in it. The lemon cookie was good.

The sandwich was dry. Not for the price I paid for.

We prefer this location over Granada Hills. But avoid it on busy afternoons on weekends. The attention to detail must be strained for the staff. I get it. It led to an unsatisfactory Rapid Pickup order: missing side items, old/hard baked goods, and what looks like bottom-of-the-barrel fruit cup (mostly leftover pineapples and blueberries?) - see pic. We'll return, but it will be on slower days and times.

My first time visiting any Panera Bread. I appreciated that there are kiosks to make your order. The food is a bit pricey but it tasted great. My biggest issue was how dirty the place was. There was a ton of trash on the floor. Most tables were taken but the ones that weren't were dirty and not cleaned after people ate there. But honestly the worst of all was that the corner of the wall where I was initially sitting had a ton of webs and dead spiders/bugs all over it. It grossed me out and I had to move. This is the most convenient Panera Bread for me to visit so I really hope it'll be cleaner next time. I'm not really a clean-freak but that was next-level yucky. The food was really good and comforting so I'll definitely be back.

I got a toasted steak and white cheddar sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The sandwich consisted of bread mostly, barely any steak, almost no cheese or onions, and horseradish sauce. I mainly tasted bread and horseradish sauce due to the absence of most of the other ingredients. This was massively and embarrassingly overpriced for what was basically a roll with a sliver of meat in it. The broccoli cheddar soup was adequate. There are so many better places to get food in the area that give you much more for your money.

It is worth noting that its monthly subscription price at $10.99 is a worth trial. 10/2021 - The Panera Bread in Northridge shares the same parking lot with a T-Mobile store. It has a few nice outdoor tables to enjoy your foods with beverages and coffee.

I came in last week to try the new brioche breakfast sandwich and all the breakfast stuff was still out, and I waited by the register and told the cashier I was waiting on my husband, he was right behind getting the baby and stroller, as he was coming in, they changed all the breakfast stuff to lunch and I asked, for the breakfast sandwich since I made it in on time but I was denied, simply said ok. Today I finally try it and I’m soooo looking forward to the runny egg because it is over easy and the advertising has the picture of the runny egg, which is the best part!! And both my husbands and my sandwich’s egg have fully cooked eggs. That was a bummer!!!!!!! Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is the bread was good but will not be coming here again!

Very long line to order, and employees all seemed confused. The sandwich I ordered had mayo and avocado smeared all on the outside, and was just "okay" in terms of taste. Also, the napkins they put over my food absorbed all of the pickle juice from the mangled pickle on my plate, resulting in two drenched napkins to help make the bread soggy. I wondered why anyone would eat here. I won't ever return.

Normally we like Panera and have been to many of their locations across the US, but this location needs training in good customer service and filling orders. Make sure to check your order. To those who work there if you do not want to give good customer service, please find a new job.

In general I am a big panera fan, however THIS location has declined. This WAS a great place for breakfast and lunch. They USED to have competent staff who could take your order correctly without having to be handheld through the process. After 2 new managers and a continual staff-turnover I am turned off. I no longer bother to go there for breakfast as more than half the time they are out of any variety of bagel I want by 9:00am, and lunch is a haphazard adventure in trying to get my order either: timely or correct.

I had items missing from my order. They were nice on the phone to offer apology and options but the issue was that I did not get my coffee with my breakfast and my breakfast sandwich was missing the bacon and cheese and I only had the egg on my bread.

Disappointed on many levels. Ordered and paid for extra chicken and apple chips on Fuji salad. If this was extra, hate to see the standard serving. They are pricing themselves out of the market. Also, spicy chicken sandwich had too little chicken on too large a bun. At almost $13, not worth it.

I love coming to Panera. Their broccoli cheddar soup is to die for. However, today I had a different experience. The cashier didn't seem welcoming, happy or showing hospitality. I let that go but then she became rude. She handed me my OJ by sliding it through the counter. When my bofriend received the receipt, she threw it on the counter despite the fact that his hand was out to receive it and walked away. Maybe she's new or maybe she's having a rough morning but her customer service skills need to improve let alone her manners. With that said the food was great as always .

Every restaurant has raised prices but they've also skimp on servings. My daughters Mac and cheese was half of a half bowl and her salad too. The bread for my salad was so cold I felt the chill in my spine. My son's had a half empty sandwich, can't really say their bread looked any better than mine. Overall I Chipotle is not skimping customers as much as Panera's cold bread is

I ordered the new croissant sandwich, ham and cheese -Super devastating -it’s triple what I would normally pay for a sandwich I threw it away. I couldn’t eat it -and I will never go there to eat again. I ordered a cookie and that was expensive -I and the cookie wasn’t that great on top of that was a normal size cookie. It wasn’t bigger than my hand & not the best quality for the value

I usually love this Panera but recently every time I ask for no onion they always put onion. When you get the value duo you can’t customize it so i keep leaving a special instruction and it just feels like they do not read it. Very disappointing.

I ordered a delivery of 2 sandwiches and 1 cookie and a bowl of soup. My order was on 1-7-2020 at 12:45pm. The sandwiches had wilted lettuce little or no sandwich dressing/condiments on them and the cookie was missing from my order! I used Door Dash delivery to receive my order. Dash did reimburse me for the missing cookie. My total order cost $64.00! I've been of Panera Bread on the past at different locations than this once. This Panera is located at; 19662 Nordhoff St Northridge CA 91324. I did try to reach the Panera Bread place but was put on hold. I could not complain to Door Dash as they have no way for a Customer to address an issue like this. I'm very disappointed to say the least. I won't be going or ordering any more deliveries from this place again. Moreover I'm cancelling my Door Dash app as well.

The ditz behind the register tried to sell me more food than I ordered, and then idiot behind the counter couldn't even remember the olives in my Greek salad. Plus the lettuce was mostly the cuts from the base..never again.

Horrible service! Ordered curbside delivery of just an iced coffee. Checked in via app and waited 20 minutes with no delivery of the coffee to the car. I went in to complain and the manager, Miguel, couldn't care less about his store's failures. It is no wonder they are so poor at execution with this guy in charge.

$6 for a water cup sized smoothie…very misleading considering the smoothies advertised were clearly in regular sized cups.Quite hilarious how they kept a straight face while handing me that joke of a smoothie. Unless you’re trying to get completely ripped off and treated poorly by employees, steer away from this place.

Decent service, sandwiches sloppily prepared. Drink machines we're warm and ice machine broken. Tables dirty and my steak sandwich was cold. Never going there again. A whole apple, come on slice it at least!!

I've been here twice in the last couple weeks. The first time I waited 40 min. for a "rapid order" pick up which was ready when I arrived however, the clerk insisted it wasn't finished, after 40 min of waiting and nothing else entering the bag I finally got it. I gave them a second chance today, waited 20 min, drove back to work and noticed I got nothing that I ordered. When i drove back I waited at the counter for help only to have the clerk with her back towards me say out loud that she had to pee 3 times before turning around to help me.

The 1/2 salad socks. Worst I've ever had. It's small and is just lettuce & bread cubes. Simple & pretty tasteless. Then I requested sauce on the side, and the little packet was less than 1/2 full. Will never recommend Panera Bread to anyone.

Today was my very first time ordering from Panera Bread. I kept seeing the margherita pizza on TV commercials and couldn't resist. Id like to share my experience...The first person that answered the phone said 1 person was ahead of me. Thats fine, I'll wait. She put down the phone and never came back! After waiting 15/20 minutes and realizing she's greeting another customer I hung up and called back. CJ was VERY nice/helpful but the ball was already rolling. When my husband got the pizza home I realized it had NO spices on top, maybe 6 half slices of grape tomatoes and totally undercooked. It looked NOTHING like the commercials I'd been drooling over all weekend! Well, I decided to put some spices on top, add more tomatoes and put the pizza in my oven and cook it a bit more. Well...because it was SLICES and not a whole pizza while trying to remove them the slices fell thru the rack onto the bottom of my oven...upside down! UGH!! HORRIBLE "first experience" ever! Needless to say, I don't think I'll ever order from Panera again. And I'll change the channel if one of your commercials pops up. I don't want to be falsely tempted again. Now back to cleaning my oven...

This location is totally mismanaged. They opened 10 minutes late dispite the fact they had a line of customers at the door on a drizzly morning. They were out of all flavors of cream cheese for my stale bangles and they had a flavored coffee in the dark roast pot, this location sucks a**.

Got catering for our office staff, worst ever. Egg and cheese, with no cheese and a film of egg. You're better off getting catering from McDonald's.

I ordered at panera and availed their free delivery and unfortunately I didn't know that their delivery service was doordash so I called them and informed them that the coffee was missing and they told me that the door dash guy picked up my orders and sad to say I haven't received it and they say that I have to contact the doordash unfortunately the doordash won't deal with it because they say I ordered directly to panera so they couldn't refund it I have to ask panera to refund me but the panera told me that I have to ask the doordash and to make the story short I should blamed it to the driver and the driver wasn't able to contact them and they say his not connected to the company anymore. The moral lesson don't believe on their free delivery because you won't receive your item

Ordered a takeout meal at 4:36. Said it would be ready in 10 mins. Came into the store and had to wait an additional 40 minutes after that for our order to be ready!! Absolute nonsense! Slowest service I’ve ever received. And the food wasn’t even that good. Especially for the price. Don’t waste your time here. You could drive to another Panera farther away and likely get your food faster

Unfortunately my first time eating here I had a bad experience. My pizza was a flatbread but the crust was totally soft it was very undercooked and I ordered The bread bowl with chili and the amount of chili they gave me was barely enough to fill the bottom of the bread bowl the bread was hard as a rock and didn’t taste very fresh at all. Will never eat here again

I'm having breakfast/lunch right this moment and I got to say that this is my first time and my last, customer service is really bad waited in line for 30 minutes when there only were 2 people in from of me, the guy behind me decided to use the fast lane, order your self and after 5 minutes when he completed his order was told that I wasn't working that he needed to get in line, when it was my turn I told the cashier that it was my first time there and it didn't made no difference cause she was rushing me, I wanted a vanilla latte and she said that the machine wasn't working so I order a regular coffee and a grilled cheese sandwich after I sat down after 10 minutes a lady came to me and ask me if I was waiting for an order cause the kitchen wasn't receiving the order and ask me for my receipt to take it to the kitchen, after 10 minutes came back with my sandwich and chips and no coffee I ask and she brought it after, the grilled cheese sandwich was horrible I forced my self to eat half of it cause I needed to take medication. Won't be coming back again forgot to add that I had to clean the table cause it all the tables were dirty.

Upon arrival, the workers are seeing that im waiting to order and they acting like they are wiping things down. 3 minutes i walk over and ask if there was someone that can help and you can hear the attitude in the tone and voice. Then they mess up a ladies order and dont seem to want to help her until I stepped in. Its a shame at the quality of service these idiots give. Not to mention the bathrooms smell horrendous. Other than the gentlemen that took my order. These employees need a talking to. Mon. December 22 - 1900 hours

First time experience was a disappointment plus first time ordering online. Spend $75 for just bread pretty much. Hardly any meat on their sandwich "dippers" or cheese plus they forgot to send me the main thing which was the sauce. I wonder why it was for a limited time only? Never again. Pointless arguing about it the least i could do was this disappointing review.

Please avoid coming to this Panera Bread. The past couple of times i’ve gone, the wait time has been terrible. I ordered online for “rapid-pick up” at 12:45. I ordered half a sandwich, a soup, and a drink and got a pick up time at 1:30. I arrived at 1:30 and still waited an additional 30 minutes for my order to be ready. I then was given a cookie for the long wait, which didn’t make me feel better since i already had to basically wait an hour and fifteen minutes for 3 items. Mine and many other people’s orders were late. Please hire more staff or give correct pick up times to your customers. I will not be coming here again.

Disappointed, they used to have small tables to eat outside, not anymore, they had booths inside .. now there is mostly small chairs and tables, its dark and sad... (teens working there are nice ) .. we ordered two sandwiches 16.00 each, smoothie 8.00 , coffee 7.00 and pastries 5.00 each + taxes... over 60 dollars :(. Portos smoothies are 5.50 (larger smoothies) , fresh pastry from 1.50 and breakfast sandwich 7.99..Panera became too expensive for us and the place looks sad..

The place is full of homeless people sitting and sleeping inside, with a terrible smell everywhere. The staff don’t care or pay attention at all. Very unpleasant experience

Accuracy and quality obviously do not matter here. I clearly added other toppings to my sandwich-and it wasn't anything crazy... but someone didn't care and didn't bother to follow modifications (see receipt). On top of that, why would you give your customers rotten avocado? It ruined the taste overall, and I could not eat it. What is the point of even giving that $3 tip (or any tip for that matter) for completing what are basic functions of your job? Yes, it is my fault for not changing that default $3 on settings before submitting my order, but also my bad for wasting my money here. Please have someone actually check for accuracy and quality as people who rely on the convenience of ordering online and have their food delivered pay EXTRA for that convenience. So so disappointed... and now hungry.
