De lo mejor que he probado en la isla. Una cocina muy esmerada en sabores y combinaciones. Exquisitos platos. El servicio muy bien. Interesante para salir un poco del centro.

Delicioso lugar, un pequeño tesoro en Isla, probé la pasta Papardelle y camarones, la pasta es casera, artesanal, una verdadera delicia. La atención es agradable, el lugar es cómodo y cálido. Aceptan pago con tc y efectivo.

Sin dudas la mejor cena que realizamos en nuestra estadía de 6 noches en la Isla, todo estaba delicioso y tan bueno que olvidamos sacar fotos, pero sin dudas es un 10/10. Nos atendió Julieta y fue muy amable y correcta en todo el servicio, elegimos una pesca del día a la Veracruz y un Brisquet, realmente exquisito

Pedimos pulpo y estuvo muy rico! Atención 10 puntos, nos sirvieron una entradita de pancitos caseros con berenjenas al escabeche rico también, el ambiente muy lindo, íntimo, el sabor del horno a leña siempre es un Plus. Precio justo, volveria!

El chef Sebastiàn Birarda dirige este precioso restaurante, que despuès de un dìa en la playa Norte, caminar por el centro y de regreso de Punta Sur, te deleita con unos platillos sabrosos y originales en cuanto a preparaciòn, como el pulpo, el calamar a la menta, los sorrentinos rellenos de langosta, las aguas de sabor y las verduras verdaderamente exquisitas que en ningùn lugar, excepto en la casa, habìamos probado con este sazon, en particular la berenjena. El mix de chef argentino, parrilleros mexicanos y meseros argentinos, muy atentos, hace este lugar definitivamente uno de los mas sabrosos de la Riviera Maya, regresaremos en futuro!

The fresh seafood and creative cuisine is amazing! Cozy, chill vibe is very romantic, Angel our waiter was wonderful. The owner‘s wife personally insured we had a fantastic culinary experience. The couple that owns it is Argentinian and really pays homage to their roots. The small menu changes daily to focus on fresh market fines. An absolute must dine.

I could not recommend this place more. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was incredible, the chefs cooking right there is such a unique thing to see. The service was attentive but not over barring. The food was phenomenal. Everything was so well balanced with an abundance of textures in every bite. I took the waitresses recommendation of the catch of the day. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. My partner ordered the steak, which was melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection.

Loved it!!!! Go! Food was absolutely delicious, artfully and skillfully created. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, from the lighting to the wall tiles and the bathrooms. Service was friendly and informed, without being overly attentive or borderline neglectful. Wish I lived here so i could come back all the time!!

If I could Give 10 stars I would This is a truely hidden gem! Grilled octopus , lime jalapeño soup to start were absolutely amazing! The braised brisket and almond and coconut crusted snapper was outrageous We will be back here every single time and I think every person that enjoys food should visit too

Wonderful food and staff. This place brings bread for the table and when we let them know we couldn't eat it (both have wheat issues) we did not expect anything to replace it, but they brought us a super cute carrot and cucumber dish they whipped up. Excellent food, comfortable open dining in the evening, amazing staff!

Fuego del Mar in Isla Mujeres is an absolute gem. It has everything you could want—ambiance, delicious food, top-quality ingredients, and stunning presentation. The chef, who also owns the restaurant, is a true artist. You can watch him prepare each dish with such care and dedication, making the experience even more special.

Excellent service, and excellent food. We had a large group and they accommodated us with ease. The food and drinks were excellent. We enjoyed sitting at the “bar” close to the street, as it allowed us to see the food being prepared. The lime dessert was delicious and refreshing. Looking forward to returning!

We enjoyed everything we ate! The grilled calamari was good but not for me due to the texture. The bread they give you with that eggplant spread is amazing! The pork belly Bahn mi was excellent, perfectly crisp. My lobster and risotto dish was cooked perfectly and came with a nice orange butter sauce. My companions grouper was also very well prepared. Service was amazing, constantly checking in on us and our drinks were always full. The ambiance is very nice with an upscale island feel. I would recommend this place and I see why others do as well.

Yummy food and drinks! Went on a Sunday nice and there were 2 other groups there. Surprisingly wasn’t packed given how good their food and drinks are. The fish dishes were exceptional. One of the best I’ve ever had! Service was amazing, very attentive and bilingual.

Honestly an amazing food experience on isla Mujeres. What more could you expect from a restaurant? We were one of only two tables being served on and astonished by that. The food was so good I think they could be a sellout every night all year. I really enjoyed their grilled calamari appetizer, one of the best fish dishes I’ve had in a while!

I would like to consider myself a pretty big foodie, and we stumbled onto this place, our first night on the island and went back every single night for dinner. Me and my three buddies absolutely love this place. The ambience, the staff, and the food were incredible. Get the cat of the day, the banana split dessert, and talk to the awesome staff. They’re cool as hell and it just feels like the perfect ambience regardless of it being an island, vacation or not.

This is a drive from the North end but the food is great. We dined outside but the ambiance inside is intimate and comfortable. We had the pesto calamari, smoked provoleta, brisket and banana split. All are recommended as they are delicious and creatively prepared.

Very good meal here. Pickled eggplant, calamari appetizer, snapper Veracruzana, and Hogfish (I believe that was the catch of the day). All were prepared well. The Banana split really took us by surprise. Every staff person was attentive and friendly. I would recommend everything we had and won't hesitate to come back.

Lovely atmosphere, well presented fresh dishes with attentive service. All the food we tried (calamari and seared tuna to start, brisket and catch of the day for our mains) was absolutely delicious. This was one of our pricier meals on the island but I'm glad we stumbled across this place - definitely not one to miss.

Drinks: we ordered a pineapple and strawberry daiquiri and mojito. They were good, nothing to write home about. Not the strongest drinks on the island but well made. Food: similar to other reviews the food was very good! It is extremely rich in my opinion and the portion sizes are fairly small so if you are very hungry I would not necessarily recommend this place. It has more of a date night/celebratory feel. I ordered the lobster ravioli. They were stuffed to the brim with lobster but were a little too peppery for my taste. As well the green herb on top somewhat overwhelmed the delicate lobster flavor. The brisket as others have said is very good and falls apart in your mouth. The shrimp pasta was also very good with a nice array of flavors. Both desserts we ordered, the lime and banana split, were excellent. I thought the mousse on the banana split was truly superb. Service: the service was also excellent. Our waitress was very nice and spoke good English. She came around just enough to check on us and was not slow with the food or drinks. Her helper as well was very good at clearing our dishes in a timely manner. The ambience is pretty cool with the chefs preparing food where you can watch. This place is pretty small though so not very suitable for large groups. Our party of five had to sit at a booth with a chair and we were pretty squished. Overall, would probably not come back unless there was a special occasion, the food was just too rich for my taste.

Recomendable. Cheff argentino, platos y postres muy ricos (poca cantidad). Servicio, muy amable (lo único malo fue que pedimos que NO preparen con picante nuestro pedido y esto no sucedió). Los tragos muy ricos (piña colada con tequila, y mojito de frutos rojos). Los precios son elevados.

Excelente lugar, comida gourmet, muy rica, tanto las entradas como platos principales y postres Totalmete recomendable. Los meseros del lugar muy atentos. La estrella que falta es porque el precio es un poco alto por esta ubicado un poco a las afueras del centro ciudad. Si o si hay q tener transporte para llegar

La comida es simplemente espectacular. Excelente pescado. Excelente pasta. Todo muy bien presentado y muy rico y con una atención excelente. El sitio en sí es el que quizá merezca más cuidado. Cero en ambiente. Cero en decoración. Cero en iluminación. Cero aire acondicionado. Creo que con un mínimo de inversión en esos aspectos,y manteniendo el mismo nivel de N sus platos sería un sitio de 10 puntos.

A great surprise in Isla Mujeres! On an island where restaurants are often either just average or quite expensive, Fuego del Mar really stands out. Located in town, facing the mangrove, it’s a cosy and airy little restaurant run by an Argentine chef. The food is excellent — creative, original, and flavorful — with generous portions at very reasonable prices. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. A truly pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

Está aceptable pero demasiado caro y las porciones son pequeñas. El servicio es bueno, fueron rápidos y las chicas muy amables pero la comida no tiene gran sabor para el precio de los platillos.

This place is a beautiful find hole in the wall unsuspecting lil paradise… with a slight view through trees of lagoon. And I’ll say on the edge of the ghetto. When you walk in you are warmly greeted, the ambiance, energy and decor are On Point.. Fresh Homemade Bread was delicious we asked for more. This place is capable of serving many, however I think due to their location they have very low traffic as evident by many reviews. I was excited to go day before my birthday. I came in with my wife and baby. We were the only table. My wife was not hungry and we do not drink alcohol, so when I only ordered one plate they seemed disgusted, upset and disappointed. I did end up ordering a $40usd lobster ravioli which had potential for greatness, but fell flat. Lobster was slightly overcooked, nice pasta, sauce was kind of bland and tasteless.. I walked by the kitchen and saw they had more sauce in the pan… I am like.. POUR IT ON My Food.. haha When they brought the second bread with slight hesitation and annoyance they did not bring anymore oil to dip. Overall I’d say this was a let down for the price of the plate and the bummed out servers because they are bored and broke because the place ain’t busy..

I usually dont leave bad reviews. Weird to say that but everything was great except for the food. We asked for their highly recommended dishes and were told the fish (salty) and lobster tail were the best. I live by the ocean and I can easily tell if a lobster was fresh or not (This one was definitely not). The salty fish they recommended was rubbery and not as tender as I would expect it (again questioning freshness) Cant complain about their service or the vibe. I just wish the food was better though :(
