This spot is by far my most favorite chicken joint. I have been coming here for the past decade and the food never ceases to amaze me. Each time I am brought to nostalgia despite the amount of different locations I have been to. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to find a new spot.

I got the 2 piece combo. Chicken was very juicy and LOTS of flavor. Tasted like it had been marinated in lime juice and lots of herbs. Side dish of sweet fried plantains. And a large cold soda. Food came out quickly & everything was great. And I left $2 tip for the person who was cleaning the tables.

I ordered to go and holy moly. Spicy fried chicken? Bomb.com Fried chicken in the combo was so well seasoned! Plantains were a perfect side. There was a wait but it was worth it.

Campero is a Great Brand, quality, recipe of how it made, all great! Consistency, not so much..too many people are in the chicken Business, when they started expanding it was a hit! Well seasoned, crunchy, juicy morsels of tender chicken, fried to profection! Last couple of times I been, chicken not fully cooked, batter not crunchy, and i waited parked in the lot for 18 mins to get that...hmmn.. I m not in the business of just trashing a one time experience, we all have an off day. Next experience, Yes, I haven't given up on them. So here it goes, ordered a simple 30 pack nugget, I expected to wait, even leading Competition will have wait times for same kind of order, Anyways..after waiting 19 mins, take them home. Disappointment..slimy soggy chicken..damn

This is the 3rd time in a row I’ve come to this location and they are “out” of grilled chicken. I asked them if there was no grilled chicken at all and they said they could make it fresh for a $3 upcharge. I don’t understand why there is an upcharge for food they can make- especially when I came mid day. The last two times I came was late so I was more understanding but this interaction made it seem like they didn’t want to make the grilled chicken although they have the means to do so. On top of that Ive normally waited about 20 mins after placing an order like this but this time it was ready almost instantly. I’m just confused as how the grilled chicken that was being made fresh (and that I was upcharged for) was ready to go so fast. This is normally a go to spot for the family but being constantly “out” of something on the menu is frustrating to deal with

As longtime fans of Pollo Campero, with experience ranging from their origins in Guatemala to various US locations, including this Ontario spot, my recent experience was a significant disappointment. We made the drive specifically to pick up a large 20-piece order to enjoy at home, craving that signature Campero flavor. Unfortunately, this was the second consecutive time that this Ontario location has severely overcooked and essentially burnt the chicken. While we gave them a pass the first time, this repeated issue is unacceptable. The chicken pieces were a dark brown, tasted distinctly burnt, and were consequently very dry—a far cry from the moist, flavorful chicken we know and love. We realized the extent of the issue only after getting home, making for a frustrating reveal for the whole family, especially after spending \bm{\$86.78}. To add to the disappointment, the rice was also noticeably undercooked. We ended up eating some of the chicken simply because we were already home and had no immediate alternative, but the experience left a genuinely bad taste in our mouths. I appreciate that when we reached out to the location, they offered to replace the order. However, given this was the second time we received substandard, burnt food from this specific kitchen, we declined the replacement—we frankly had no confidence in the preparation quality and didn't want to make the drive again. They did offer a refund, and we are waiting to see if they honor that commitment. For now, based on two consecutive and very poor experiences, this specific Pollo Campero location has unfortunately lost a loyal customer. The consistent failure to properly cook the chicken and sides has made the drive and cost not worthwhile. We will be taking our Campero cravings elsewhere

Very underwhelm launch. My order was taken well but the quality of the food was not worth the price. I'm only hoping it's just a launch issue and they will hopefully learn better skills in the kitchen in there. The lady at the drive thru must have never had any experience or training, she was so monotoned and did not say a single thing to me. She just looked at me and held her hand out . The fried chicken was tasty. But the chicken sandwich was the saddest $8.50 sandwich I've ever had. You're disrespecting Guatemalan good. Our sodas also had 3 ice cubes lol. Mac and cheese was good. My dad compared the coleslaw to KFC. Fries were awful. I'd head to Jack in the Box for a better chicken sandwich. The fried chicken is getting again but only that. The empanadas im not used to this style of empanadas so I'm not gonna hate on it. But I didn't like it tasting like chic-fil-a sauce and pickles. Idk. Went thru drive thru just FYI. Will try to go inside next time.

First off, the food was good. The service was bad for the simple fact that I had ordered on the app. That I was gonna pick up at 9:15 pm. I got there, and my order wasn't even ready the manager. I'm pretty sure it was a woman. She turned around to one of her employees, and said he is here. Start making it now. I don't know why the hell they would make you order on the app to pick up at a certain time if your order is not even going to be ready. I waited 30 minutes. 3 people got their orders before me. Whoever is a manager who needs to either be replaced or need to be taught how to do a better job. There's nothing more that I hate than having to wait even longer from the promise time was agreed upon. it gets me so mad when I have to wait And I don't know why they wanna charge so much money. For a family size side of beans. When all you get is broth, someone needs to do a better job. There's no good reason why anyone should be getting charged or overcharged for something that they're paying just to get bean broth. This is not the first time that this has happened. This is actually the second time, but this time, I'm actually writing a review about it

Dining area had trash all over the floor tables we're dirty. I guess at the time they didn't have trash cans where people can throw away their trash. And they need the anti fly/ Bug light.

Walked in no cashier at front. Lady in kitchen. Asked hor for the bathroom code. Aproched the counter to order and there is no one. An associate with headphones walked behind me on a personal call. She acknowledged me and said "buenas" and kept walking. Just bad customer service. I just walked out

my uncle bought some chicken from this place. The service was really bad. Not only its really slow but the pieces were really small. The chicken had a whole strand of hair in it! This chicken was supposed to be for our family. Bad service, slow, small pieces of chicken. Not only that but a strand of hair?! Im never coming back…
