Top Pot K BBQ & Hot Pot

This was our first time doing hot pot and WOW! It was phenomenal! Tiff was our server and she was super helpful in showing us how everything worked and even suggesting the best drinks and food. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Such a wonderful time. Great food, great service. Great experience. When enjoyed with 4 to 6 people. Fantastic for an event like a birthday as you can see in the picture. All of the meats and vegetables that you could ever want. Clean and professional. The only thing better than the steam in your face are the chicken feet and cow tongue. The biggest mystery however, is what the heck do they do with the tongs under the sink in the bathroom?

Service was excellent and food was great. They have hot pot and Korean BBQ options, but we chose to only have the hot pot this time. The BBQ is only $5 more though, so very reasonable. Our server, Juliet, was amazing and so personable. She made sure we were looked after well and really made the experience special! The food is served buffet style- take the raw ingredients back to your table and cook it yourself. Overall, absolutely would recommend!

Great experience dining at Top Pot. Yang was an excellent server. He was so nice and very attentive. We did the soup and the grill and had a blast with both. Not a fan of the ball type food, but everything was awesome. Would definitely recommend.

I actually left another hot pot place just to come here. This is the best hot pot in Jacksonville. They have fresh food, endless meats, and great service. I am celiac and they even gave me a special gluten free broth just to make sure I was safe. There are so many great things that I can say about this place. I think a lot of the pictures speak for themselves with how clean the place is. The squid was amazing and so was there clams. No shellfish was gritty at all. They had so much fresh veggies which was cool. Some interesting meats they had were beef tongue, beef throat and many different tripes. I liked their options of meat a lot. Most unique of all, endless red surf clam. If you know you know. I ate so many and they were sweet, fresh, and wonderful. 11/10 for that one. I saw from other pictures that they have oysters, I didn't see any when I was there. I would have liked to see this. In terms of Boba. They they an unlimited refill Boba bar. I didnt get it but it totally seems worth and and cool that you can have as much as you want and mix everything up. That was super nice. I think that this place overall has so much potential. Two things I'd like to see improve: 1) they did not have quail eggs which was a major let down. 2) their rice noodles are in the same container and touch the ramen noodles. This makes it so the food is cross contaminated and celiac people can't eat the rice noodles. This was also a major let down. 3) I'd like to see more options with the gluten free broth options. But the broth was still good and flavorful so this isn't a large problem to me.

I came in and was caught off guard. We walked in, and the host seated and was very friendly. Juliet was our server, and she made the place very inviting with bubbly, outgoing personality. I also love that they have food already prepared while we cook on the grill and the variety of soups to choose from. It's definitely something to go to if you're looking for a place to put some meat on the grill and have variety asian soup available. I will warn you that some of the spices have a kick to it, but well worth it.

One of my favorite places to go now and I think im addicted. Loved the all you can eat and choosing the food you want to cook and eat. Was our second time going and we did the BBQ only and everything was delicious. We did the Hot Pot the first time. You can do both if you prefer but we were satisfied just doing one or the other options. Great experience and would recommend! Be going back soon!

This is my first time here, and it will definitely not be my last, this place is amazing and unique. I got the bbq and hot pot combo and let me tell you there is so much to select from and you can cook all the stuff the way you want it and season how you want. Definitely a cool place for a family dinner or date idea.

In A Nutshell: -Top Pot all-around earns me a 5 star rating. -When you add in the combination of both AYCE hot pot and/or AYCE KBBQ, the friendly service, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the organization of all the food & good price you earn a high rating. -All of the meats that were BBQ'd tasted high quality. -The choices of hot pot items were endless, from clams, crawfish, fatty beef, black forest pork, the various mushrooms, veggies, fish balls, red snapper to flounder. -The sauce bar has all you need to create your favorite dipping sauce. Overall, like I said initially, this is a good place to go eat at, the value is top notch at Top Pot.

They have it all, you want more than koren bar b q, sure grab the hot pot. THE food is amazing, the servers are great and attentive. The only issue you will have is the one on the scale!

Absolutely loved this place! We had never been before. The server was super nice and explained how it all worked. The meats were delicious and they have lots of veggies to choose from. Great for a date night. It’s fun to have something to do while you eat! Love it and totally recommend.

Our family has been going to this restaurant since it opened and it’s always a very pleasant experience. Staff is always nice, friendly, and provides excellent service. HOWEVER, tonight was a different experience. The new male manager comes storming into the dinning room yelling and reprimanding one of the servers. Everyone in the dining room stopped and stared. I’m not sure what the main problem was, but it was handled poorly. The manager should have pulled his staff aside and spoke to her in private instead of yelling at her in the middle of the dining room in-front of customers and other staff members. It was disruptive to the dining room experience if was your first time into this restaurant. The server continued to serve her customers as she would with a smile on her face despite the embarrassment the manager has put her through. That male manager needs to be educated about management skills, clearly he doesn’t know how to deal with his own staff.

One of my favorite bbq and hot pot places in this area, I’ve been visiting both lunch and dinner the buffet were all filled up at all time. The broth and some ingredients on two visits were different; the broth on first time was more flavorful, also the shrimp paste, it’s three months apart. It was OK. Definately not worth the price. 5 adults and 1 child was just under $300. Meat was the same you get at Orange Buffet just down the street. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive, constantly checking in on us and clearing plates. I just cant justify spending more here than what we would have spent at the Japanese Hibachi next door and cooking the food ourselves.

We have gone about 4 times in the last year, and every time it's frozen solid in the dining room, to the point that if we get rice or noodles they're cold before we can eat them. The heat from the table isn't ever enough to mitigate this issue. This last time we went, the service was horrible. Our waitress only came to the table to pick things up, and she hardly spoke to us. No refills. This last time there were only 4 meat options available for the BBQ. They were out of dumplings, spring rolls, vegetable rolls, etc... when asked, the waitress said she would inquire about it. She never came back to us. It was a miserable experience. We went around 8pm. All of this for an $80 tab. Outrageous. Poor quality meat, poor quality service. We won't keep "giving it a try". Really annoyed this was our night. Our waitress never even came with our bill, we had to go to the main counter ourselves just so we could get out of there. Go to any other KBBQ or hotpot place. We should've gone to Gen at the town center.

I saw really good reviews on this restaurant and thought it would be a nice place for a date for me and my girlfriend. Everything here was great besides the service. We had a female server who was rarely at our table and left us to figure out on our own where to pay for our bill. Once we decided to walk to the host stand to pay for everything, she then pressured us to leave her a tip, despite this and the poor service we still decided to do so. If you're considering this spot beware of the servers, although it was our first time the representation of the establishment was not amazing. I've never written a review before but based on the ones I saw previously I was surprised by the service and thought I should bring this up.
