The food at burritos Lalo is amazing. Service is really good. And the prices are pretty comparable to most Mex food restaurants.

Cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant!!! We ordered from Grub Hub and our order got mixed up and one of THEIR OWN employees to deliver our missing items! She was so friendly and helpful and the food, as always, was delicious!!! Appreciate you so much!!

Food was really tasty, salsa is excellent! Had a fish taco, asked for it in a hard shell, no problem!! They serve catfish for tacos yum, better than the typical mushy fish in other Mexican places. Nice menu choices, they sell to go salsa.

Whenever I eat Mexican food, I order the chile rellenos. Of the 15 or so Mexican restaurants around Santa Maria and Orcutt, I have to say this place has the best chile rellenos. Every time I order from here, the cheese is always thoroughly melted as opposed to other places where the cheese is not always fully melted or the size is not consistent. The sauce they use is also just right. They also offer a crispy potato tacos. And let me just say, every time I go to a Mexican restaurant, another thing I ask is if they have crispy potato tacos which is just something I've always enjoyed since my (fully straight from Mexico) Mexican stepmother made them for me when I was growing up. 90% of the time, the other restaurants either don't have them, or have told me they make them sometimes but not all the time and I have to call ahead just to check. This place had them and they were delicious. I also have to say, they make their flan in-house and was hands down the best I've ever had. It even converted my boyfriend who does not actually like flan. Maybe because I added whipped cream to it when we got home, but either way it is the creamiest and truly most delicious one I've had anywhere ever.

I used to work at Burrito Loco for years in Orcutt. It broke my heart when it closed down. Now that I found out Burrito Lalo is open here in Old Orcutt I will definitely be going back. The food was excellent, the salsa was delicious, it is everything I expected to be. It brought so many wonderful memories.

We just found out about this place. We placed an order to go and the person who took the order was super friendly and attentive which was a big plus. The food was really good! The enchilada sauce is very tasty, you can tell it’s a homemade sauce, the beef taco was crispy and delicious. The beans were so good. We will be returning here. I’m glad we found a place with good Mexican restaurant that’s not far from our home

We just found out about this place. We placed an order to go and the person who took the order was super friendly and attentive which was a big plus. The food was really good! I agree with the reviews on flavor, extremely bland. We have eaten there a few times in hopes that the food gets better as they improve with time. The chicken burrito was extremely dry and no flavoring, as if it was boiled maybe. 🤔 the chimichangas were super soggy so I couldn’t even eat the tortilla, I just ate the inside. We were really hoping to have a great new place to frequent.

Most bland & flavorless mush I’ve ever had. No salt, no seasoning, no flavor at all. I took 2 tiny bites & stopped eating. For me it’s a complete waste of money, unfortunately. I won’t be able to finish eating this & certainly wont try this place again.

Truly the Kraft of Mexican food. Bland city. Do yourself a treat, drive to Shell Beach and go to Zorro's. They are the best restaurant/cantina on the Central Coast!

I've tried the food there now like 4 times. The last (and final) time I went I ordered a chicken enchilada. The food came out boiling hot like it had been microwaved. It literally burned my tongue. I had to stop eating and wait and wait for it to cool down. After 8 minutes of waiting it was still boiling hot. The plate itself was hot which indicates microwave (or some kind of hot oven). The prior times I went there were also not that great. But the boiling enchilada, rice and beans was just a sign for me to not waste money on subpar food. Below average food. P.S. the chips seemed weird also. I ate them while waiting for the food to cool down enough to be able to eat it. My stomach felt weird after eating the chips. BTW: the enchilada never cooled down, it was still boiling hot after more than 10 minutes so I left it on the plate. Never coming back to this place.

I Ordered the fish tacos, which tasted fine as we ate, by the end if the night, I was sick sick sick. I was up all night throwing up. I did not eat the rice or beans, just the tacos. Not worth the stomach ache.

Not what I was expecting. We ordered a chimichanga and California fries and were very disappointed. Chimi was soggy, and the beef was overly salty. Guacamole was bland. Cali fries were cold, french fries were not crunchy and meat was just seasoned with salt and pepper. Very bland. I'll stick to other Mexican food restaurants in town. I don't normally give negative reviews but I don't want others to be disappointed when looking for Mexican food.

I had high hopes but was very disappointed. We tried wet burritos, tacos and steak fajitas. I don't think they have any seasoning, including salt, in the kitchen. I've been a cook for 20+ years so I was able to add some salt and other seasonings at home to make the food decent. The wet burrito had maybe 1/5th the amount of sauce you would expect. I also was so frustrated trying to order on the phone I almost hung up and just drove to the restaurant. I had to repeat every detail of my order two to three times. It wasn't a bad connection. After ordering my 4th and last item he went back to the 1st item and I was asked "do you want chicken or beef flautas?" I wanted to scream. I repeated that I ordered steak fajitas with flour tortillas and mild sauce." I repeated fajitas, steak, flour tortillas and mild sauce two to three times. I was shocked they got the order right other than giving us 4 tiny hot sauces instead of 2 hot and 2 mild. So 2 of my friends had to grab cholula from the fridge. I hope they get their act together. I would love to enjoy some excellent Mexican food and beer on the patio with a group of friends. We would be there once a week with at least 6 people ordering beer and food.

Not what I was expecting. We ordered a chimichanga and California fries and were very disappointed. Chimi was soggy, and the beef was overly salty. Guacamole was bland. Cali fries were cold, french fries were not crunchy and meat was just seasoned with salt and pepper. Very bland. I'll stick to other Mexican food restaurants in town. I don't normally give negative reviews but I don't want others to be disappointed when looking for Mexican food.
