We had the best experience here. Amanda waited on us and made our night so much more enjoyable for us. She was so accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was good. We would definitely recommend eating here. Our evening here was *chef’s kiss*
The food was delicious - I loved the short ribs, Brussels sprouts and the poached apple dessert. Our server, Josiah, was fantastic. He gave us recommendations, had funny jokes and great energy. I would definitely go back to visit next time I’m in town!
Ate dinner here to watch the surfers and - Wow! Awesome food! Blackened sea bass and steak frites with cheese cake dessert! All very good. Surfers were amazing too. Truly a hidden gem! Will definitely be back.
We’re Dining with The Davids. When we go to a restaurant, we bring a giant group of foodies known as our “Taste Buds.” We typically order a 12-course meal, which allows us to really get to know the menu. The problem with other reviewers is they typically try one or two dishes. We try almost everything on the menu! At the end of the evening, everyone votes for their favorite dishes, which we turn into video content for Instagram/TikTok, etc. Our recent visit to The Restaurant at the Palm Springs Surf Club was a culinary adventure set against one of the most breathtaking backdrops in the desert. The mid-century modern design of the dining space, with its floor-to-ceiling glass, seamlessly connects indoors with the patio overlooking the lazy river. Beyond that, the massive three-million-gallon wave pool adds a mesmerizing touch, offering diners a front-row seat to surfers carving through the waves. For our curated tasting, we gathered 20 Taste Buds and sampled a selection of standout dishes. The crowd favorite appetizer was the Surf Club Ceviche, a beautifully balanced mix of snapper and sea bass, brightened with lime, cilantro, frisée, pear, and crispy taro root. Among the entrées, second place went to the Spring Vegetable Risotto, packed with vibrant flavors and textures from sweet peas, edamame, asparagus, and sugar snap peas. First place was the Pork Schnitzel, a golden, crispy masterpiece served with Romesco sauce and fingerling potatoes. Insider tip: ask for extra Romesco on the side—you won’t regret it. For dessert, the hands-down winner (and overall champion of the night) was the Lemon Meringue Pavlova. Light and airy, perfectly balanced with whipped cream and a bright red berry coulis, it’s a must-order and ideal for sharing. As a bonus, if you show our video to your server, you’ll receive a free gift with a minimum purchase!
Navigator is absolutely fantastic! The vibe is sophisticated yet laid-back, with a worldly feel that’s perfect for a night out. The food and drinks were unique and so tasty, with just the right portions. Our favorites were the flatbread and curry, croquettes, and sea bass—they were all incredible. Highly recommend this spot!
Just wanted to give a shout out to Anthony and the staff for going above and beyond for us today. The food was amazing… honestly the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. We truly enjoyed our stay and I can’t thank you enough. Such a unique experience that we’ll remember forever. Cant wait to come back.
This restaurant checks all of the boxes. Fantastic atmosphere (see: surf oasis backdrop, water park, day club vibes, curated art/furniture/architecture), delicious high-quality food (we went for lunch and dinner - both menus fully satisfied our tastebuds - highlights include salmon bowl for lunch, prawn skewers or steak bavette for dinner), and lastly hospitality (each layer of service was top notch - from the host to the server, we felt like this is what hospitality should feel like). We actually left an item behind and went back an hour after they closed and they helped us retrieve the item. Amazing. If you haven’t been yet, you should check it out.
What a fun and exciting experience. The Amala located at the Palm Springs Surf Club is the perfect happy hour spot. The atmosphere was bright, welcoming and upbeat. The food and cocktails were tasty, delicious, and generously portioned. Nate, our server, was spectacular. Smiling, outgoing, and attentive. Our group looks forward to returning!!! Well done Amala!!!!
We recently dined at the Navigator at the Palm Springs Surf Club, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food, service, and ambience were all absolutely top-notch. Julian was our server and bartender, great service! Shout out to Zoee for stopping by to chat, showing great hospitality and welcoming us to PS. We started with the BBQ sliders, Waygu spring rolls, and carne asada loaded waffle fries; every bite was bursting with flavor! Each dish was perfectly prepared and presented, making it hard to pick a favorite. The cocktails were equally impressive—creative, refreshing, and expertly crafted. They paired beautifully with the meal and added to the overall experience. The surf-inspired vibe with a modern twist made for a laid-back yet sophisticated atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the welcoming feel. If you’re looking for a spot with amazing food, drinks, and a fun, unique vibe, Navigator is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
Great food and good vibe. Had the short rib, was very tender and flavorful

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the drinks and food. The menu boasts an impressive array of options, including mouthwatering vegan dishes and a variety of goods to tantalize your taste buds. Personally, I can't get enough of their signature cocktails, particularly the Smokin Peach Cocktail and absolutely love the detox salad. Each sip is a flavor sensation that perfectly complements the culinary delights on offer. In summary, Amala is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. With its unbeatable atmosphere, diverse menu, and impeccable service, it's no wonder it's become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. You'll visit the surf, club it's a wonderful place. The atmosphere is breathtaking with the wave pool and The lazy lake pool....,🏄🚣🤸🙋. The restaurant as a another super topping on on all this cake and the carne asada fries were' Fantastimo😘👍.
We had a beautiful dinner after the surfing session. The restaurant has a stylish, spacious design. The food was excellent: we tried fish&chips, dish of the day (Halibut), salmon, burger, and (m)/cocktails were good. The service was nice and welcoming
We came here to celebrate my Father in laws 83rd birthday and had the most delicious food and a wonderful time! Josiah is the best server we’ve ever had at any restaurant and that is saying a lot because we have been to the fanciest Michelin star restaurants all over the world. Josiah and his fun personality was so much fun! We really had the best experience because of him. Thank you Josiah! We will definitely be back to visit you when we come back to Palm Springs and make a reservation so we can eat some yummy food and have some fun!
A very cool place with great service and delicious California cuisine food. I visited with a friend for lunch and we were seated at a table with a wonderful view of the Surf Club. After our meal we walked out to the deck to look at the surfers having a great time. It is amazing what they have done with this place. Definitely worth the visit and plan to come back.

We had a fantastic first visit to Navigator at the Palm Springs Surf Club and are eager to return! Locals can get a 15% discount, which we really appreciated. Arriving around 6 PM, we enjoyed a stroll on the terrace to watch the surfers—a unique treat. As a group of four former NYC-area foodies, we were impressed. The service was friendly and attentive, albeit a little green, given the recent rebrand. Highlights included the rolls with tomato compote and the crispy Wagyu beef cigars (shared by a neighboring table—such a fun surprise!). The cod fritters were well-prepared but lacked a strong fish flavor; management graciously took our feedback and even offered complimentary drinks. For mains, the pork schnitzel, trout, and steak stood out—generous portions and expertly cooked. Dessert didn’t disappoint either: the apple pie à la mode was a hit. The ambiance was calm and modern, with music at the perfect volume (a personal win for me). One guest declared it among maybe the best in Palm Springs, rivaling Alice B. We agree—it’s a must-visit spot!
Beautiful restaurant, it’s obvious the aesthetic is important. Visited for Valentine’s dinner, was disappointed the prix fixe menu was different in person than it was online. Customer service was excellent, the food was only ok. The steak was dropped off cold & the schnitzel was tough.
Amala is a restaurant inside the resort, right outside of the main pool and lazy river area. You need to make reservations so you can get inside their compound, so make sure to do that ahead of time. They have a lot of parking spots since it's also the water park. Inside, they have a lot of tables plus a bar area on top of a bunch of tables outside as well. They have a lot of staff running around all the time, but it's a bit chaotic. Our server came by a few times, but never refilled waters, didn't check on us when we got our food, and took over 30 minutes after we were all finished to even come by to ask if we wanted more. Their menu is kind of small for the size of the place, but portion sizes are big here so it's worth the price. Flavors are there for some dishes, like the bao buns and carne asada fries. Overall it was fun but if they tightened up the service piece, they'd get 5 stars.
Food was delicious! So good! The setting is beautiful, but the DJ is way too loud, we could barely hear each other talk. I think he was piping music to the water park next door also, but it was too loud for the restaurant. I had the BLT croissant. My wife had the Steak Tacos. We both enjoyed the food, the views from the patio were great, just wish we could hear each other talk.
Came in for dinner last night with friends. Ordered from the happy hour menu: a burger, carne asada fries, and some type of cod medallions. The food was well made. I enjoyed my burger. My friend did not particularly care for the Safran sauce (but this is more of a personal preference). Same with carne asada fries, that might be hard to like for people who enjoy crispy fries.

This place needs to decide what it wants to be. It is beautifully decorated. The menu is on the medium to high end in terms of offerings and pricing. But the customers and vibe is that of an adult Chuck e Cheese. There was a bunch of pool/surfer folks that were doing tequila shots at the bar and yelling. At one point, one of them starts screaming to all the diners (the bar is close to the dining room) to pay attention to him (repeatedly) and join in a toast for one of his friends. And this went on for awhile. Really awkward and almost threatening if we didn't join in given the repeated calls for attention to him. Uhm, manager? Can you please talk to your bar customers to keep it down and if they wan to party, keep it to the outside bar. Several tables over there is a 4 year old on his own. Well behaved but just sitting there with NO adult. His mother? would occasionally come in and check on him but this was every 10 minutes or so. They had long since had their meal and were using their table as their personal cabana to sit/relax after being in the pool. Our server (Holly) was great. She apologized for the noise. The food was very good but I'm thankful we ordered from the Happy Hour menu (ends at 6pm). Would I go back? Dunno. Maybe for the Happy Hour menu but no way for the full priced menu until they establish some proper decorum and rules for the dining room.

Really disappointing experience and way over priced for we got. Beautiful atmosphere and location, but the food took over an hour to come out, came out cold and dry, and was mediocre at best. The $21 burger used Kraft cheese slices that weren’t melted. The $8 fries came out cold. The soda came out flat and warm. My sister in laws $30+ pork dish came out extremely dry and when asked about it the wait staff said the menu hasn’t been updated to reflect they don’t use gravy any more. The mashed potatoes were crumbling because of how dry they were. The manager (50ish blonde lady) and waitress came and talked to us about three times. Also, it was my dad’s birthday and when the waitress brought the brownie out, she didn’t light it?
