Torakichi was nice. I had a wait a little bit because the restaurant was full but it was fine I was not in a rush. Jesus the waiter was friendly and the service was good. I got the chicken karage and it came out hot and crunchy and the lemon went great with the chicken. I also got the tonkatsu ramen with only pork and noodle. Food came out pretty fast which was great. Will definitely come back when I’m craving ramen 🍜 👌
SOOOOO GOOD! after a 12hr roadtrip i wanted some ramen stopped here and let me tell you ! everything i ordered was absolutely yum! Kinda sad i finished my food lol . I had Tonkotsu and Gyoza. My partner and I would not stop talking about how good it was had to order a second plate ! 10/10 reccomend !
Visited three years ago. Food was good but I'm a simple man, the music playlist had a Miki Matsubara song, 5-stars.
This place is actually taste like japanese ramen. Not just ramen, karaoke was so good. I highly recommend this restaurant if you looking for japanese ramen.
Honestly I had never had real ramen. Neighbors we're raving about this place. They liked it so much they were going to celebrate their anniversary there. A friend came into town and she was game to try it. So we headed out. We weren't sure what to order, but took an education guess. Oh my, it was so good. More than enough for me. Froze leftovers and still was good.
I’m so glad there is more variety coming down to the valley! First time trying this out and it was fantastic! The servers were very friendly and quick. There wasn’t a long wait after placing our orders for appetizers and ramen to come to our table and the place was packed. If you’re a fan of Sapporo I’d definitely check this place out. Pricing was fair too not overpriced. The noodles were just about al denote and as the hot broth settled in the noodles they got to a perfect softness. I really enjoyed the chicken karrage it tasted like it was made from scratch.
Service was really nice, they saw I was pregnant and made room for me and my family immediately. The food, absolutely incredible, I got the black garlic ramen and it was definitely one of the best Ramens I’ve ever had.
Sadly, this spot offers the best ramen than most restaurants in the area where I live. If I didn't live 4 hrs away, I would be here more often than usual. The noodles were just right. The appetizers were pleasing. Accommodating staff. I highly recommend it. We will visit once we are in town again.
Always Excellent...doesn't open until 11:30am. I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. (Spice level 2 of 3) and Jimmy ordered the Chicken Paitan Ramen. We were both blown away. The presentation was beautiful. The servers were very attentive and the food came out quickly. But best of all it was delicious! Jimmy said his chicken was tender and succulent. My pork was also excellent. That being said, the protein was not necessarily the star. It was the combination of flavors including the seaweed, noodles, green onions and soft boiled eggs... Yummy! And the spice level was perfect for me. Each dish was $13. While we had iced tea to drink, they also offer saki and beer. I will definitely be back!!
Great location for delicious Ramen. This is one of the best Ramen location in the desert. So conveniently located near the Palm Springs Airport. Friendly and attentive staff. Very clean and sanitized location. Evey time i visit this establishment, I have been greeted and felt welcomed. The atmosphere is calm and enjoyable. This location is always playing some type anime show\movie. Today they were playing Inuyasha. The ramen here is delicious. Very fresh ingredients, flavorful broth and the noodles are a perfect consistency "al dente". I tend to order the Tonkatsu Spicsy Ramen (level 1) for my liking. Many other flavors to choose from and more. They serve cold refreshing Sapporo beer with a cold frosted glass for the pairing. Again, A must try while you're visiting the desert cities. This is my go to place for Ramen in the deserts.
Best Ramen and service. 🍜 If you are in the area of Palm Spring just come here. This restaurant is a small, quiet and charming place. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and a good advisor about their menu. The taste of our ramen was unforgettable. If I came back to Palm Springs I’ll come here. I ordered the Tokontsu Black Garlic Ramen with an ice matcha tea. 🍵 -Highly recommended.
We ordered the spicy chicken ramen and the chicken black garlic ramen—both were outstanding in taste. I didn’t check the spice level before ordering the spicy one, and it was very hot. I ended up removing about half of the red paste before eating, and even then it was quite spicy for me. Glad we ordered it to go! Overall, excellent ramen and great flavors.
Orders takeout delivery food was very good and flavorful. Rice bowl portion size was perfect and filling and the potato croquettes had a nice breading on them and a hint of sweetness. Then putting the heating instructions for the food was on point. The ramen was full of flavor with a little kick of spice as well.
Just ordered the Black Garlic chicken Ramen and it was incredible, easily the most tasty broth I’ve had in a long time. The fried octopus balls (takoyaki) were also the perfect side. Highly recommend!
We came here after we had a bad experience on the strip at kalura trattoria where they flat out ignored us and served everyone else but us even though we were the first ones seated outside. As soon as we walked in to Torakichi we were greeted nicely and seated right away. The food was great the prices were great and the service was amazing and 1000 percent better than the way we were treated on the strip. Thank you so much I would recommend this place to everyone.
Prompt service, delicious food, menu well explained. Atmosphere was lively and place was fairly seated. Studio ghibli movies playing. Overall amazing experience
I am impressed! Moving from NYC to Palm Springs and being so faithful to Ichiran NYC I must say that Torakichi is a close second al-denti to ICHIRAN! The appetizers and chicken karaage are amazing
The only place in Palm Springs for a tasty tonkatsu ramen. It’s a quaint place, always have had quick service. Last visit I had the crispy fries which was a sizable serving, probably didn’t need that before the ramen bc the ramen comes out pretty quickly but hey, I saw the fries on the menu and it looked like something I wanted to try and now I can say I tried it and can attest to how good these things are. Hell, I would probably order them again even if I am out for another solo dine. The people working there are nice and attentive.
I ordered the black garlic chicken ramen dish. The service was very good. Here’s the deal, it dawned on me after I had finished my meal that there was zero garlic experience in the dish. I was enjoying it so much it didn’t cross my mind. Maybe because I added a dollop of sriracha sauce to take it up a notch. The reason I came to this conclusion is after I had no residual garlic breath. Oh well, it was excellent even so. I will return but will make sure they add the garlic oil next time.

First time coming to Palm Springs. Was looking for good ramen in the area and saw this place on google maps and decided to give it a try. Ramen is amazing and the takoyaki and sesame balls were cooked fresh and crispy. Such delicious food. I will come back without a single doubt next time im in the area.
I came on a solo date today. The customer service was immaculate. Jesus was my server and he was very helpful and polite. He was attentive and answered all my questions. The food was amazing. I had the spicy ramen and the spicy edamame. The Galaxy Mango is a must. I highly recommend this place.

Pretty good ramen at reason price. I like my broth very hot (temperature wise). Broth was more like warm soup so I was little disappointed…wished it was very hot. Broth itself was tasty but not deep rich flavor like some of the ramen places I’ve been hence why I am giving 4 stars. My pork slices were tender and flavorful. Eggs were cooked perfectly.
Went on a Sunday evening. It's a small place with about seven tables and twenty-eight seats (chairs and booths). Was quickly greeted and offered a table. Gyozas and ramen were not tasty in my opinion. I really liked the chicken rice bowl - very flavorful Japanese fried chicken and rice with spices topping.
We were on vacation for the weekend. On our way back to the hotel we had decided to have lunch but didn't know where. As we were driving, the kids pointed to this place. as soon as we walked in, we were greeted. we were given options and recommendations as it was our first time in a Japanese style restaurant. The meal was perfect. I didn't have anything to compare it to, but if I had, this place would be it. IT WAS A HIT. Came out hot. Came out delicious. Went down smooth. Our server was top notch. We had ordered the veggie dumplings. We jokingly told him there was only one in our dish, and I asked for another order. These were fantastic.
Exceeded expectations on all levels. Not a lot of ramen in Palm Springs. Found the service, food, and interior all above average. Gyoza was very tasty and the dough was not too thick. Garlic ramen is very rich and well balanced. Spicy pork ramen can be adjusted to your preferred spice level. Service was very prompt and attentive. Lots of parking. Recommended if in area.
This place satisfies any and all ramen cravings! The spicy tonkotsu ramen was flavorful and umami. The pork belly was tender and delicious but they only give two small pieces. I was a big fan overall, 4/5. It's good quality for the price and big serving size. The chicken karaage bowl had the most tender and juicy chicken thigh meat! Delicious! The octopus balls were insanely good. It's a little rich and creamy plus deep fried. Definitely worth trying. I think the mango galaxy drink had three layers: green tea, sprite/soda, and mango syrup from top to bottom. It was a good level of sweetness to cut the spiciness of the ramen. The matcha tea is unsweetened. My mom had to ask them for honey, which they happily provided, so just know that it's really just unsweetened green tea. Service was fantastic. Thank you!

Service is good, food came out fast, good variety of toppings, and you get a whole egg. However, portion sizes are relatively small, the soup is meh, and the pork fat isn't rendered at all. You could get extra noodles, but then you're a little short on soup for all the extra noodles.
Been here a lot since last year , but this time it’s different -chicken karaage were undercooked - pork chashu were undercooked -ramen just warm not hot ,less favor -ordered very spicy but i feel like its just medium ( other times was great ) i had to ask for extra spicy

The fried octopus was extremely good. However the ramen even though it had flavor was warm and not hot which was a downer.
Food was good, but seating us at a table next to garbage cans and the toilet? We were somewhat appalled to find that the table that they gave us (after a 30+ minute wait!) was right next to the bathroom and a set of garbage cans. This was the only table in the back like that and it was truly disgusting. There was a constant flow of customers to the restroom, and they would leave the restroom door open. I got sick and tired of going over and closing the door every few minutes because of the smell. The food was pretty good. The service was ok. Not amazingly attentive, but ok. I think that was partly because we were in the back and out of the ‘normal’ seating area. If we go back again, it will definitely be for carry out only.

I always come to this place for ramen but I felt really disappointed today I order vegetarian ramen always and comes almost every 2-3 week . May be I had a misunderstanding that spicy paste one we can get but then we gotta pay for next and I did ordered on call was driving forgot to mention when reached ask for one the staff named Jordan asked me to pay for that I don’t feel it’s a good customer service with your permanent customer I am chef myself and I work as a cashier too if my customer it guest is short or ask he will b bring from his car I would leave those 50-90 cents it’s just cents hardly makes sense better then losing a customer . I might think next time to order from here . Really disappointed . The food is really good. No doubt most of the staff also is really nice and understanding . But this one seems rude and can take off many customers .
Came here one day to have lunch with a friend. The service was just about mediocre as the food. The worse part was I had left my card and by the time I noticed and went back to pick it up it was missing. One of the employees had took my card and used it a local gas station. I did a charge back and got my money back and filed a fraudulent charge against them. Never coming back.
Jordan is awesome, he is always nice. The rest of the staffs are very rude. I have visted this location more than 5 times and at least 3 of those visits have been very bad. They mess up my order on one visit. Kept me on hold for 20 minutes for another visit and I ended up driving up there for my lunch. They were rude and nonchalant about it. No one is perfect but a simple sorry and common courtesy goes a long way. Please train your staff customer service beforoe youu keep losing your customers.
I don't have insane expectations and I am being honest about this, I ordered the Tonkotsu Black Garlic dish and there was arguably no favor at all to the ramen. However, the service was good as was the atmosphere. I had really good ramen close and really bad ramen. This ranks closer to the bottom. Overall, I'd strongly avoid this place and get some Buldak noodles or Tonkotsu Premium Ramen from Costco and call it a day if you wanted Ramen. It might be harsh to give this place a one star, but going out to eat is only getting more expensive and you have to put your money to work. By no means is the good unservicable, it's just nothing more than being mediocre. As such I immediately see a lot of the 5 stars for this place with suspicion.
Very bad with customer service, after finding a pubic hair in my Ramen, I I kindly asked the waiter that I would like a new one after waiting 20 minutes, he came back and said we're disputing charge. I kindly ask, I would like another one He rudely said no , and then started arguing with me then, on the later visit, we were asked to leave within minutes of being there, they said the reason was because we insulted them which never happened, no, Manager came up and talked to us on either occasion, overall a very bad experience!

I had looked forward to visiting your ramen spot, but our experience was extremely poor. A member of my group expressed not wanting to eat there, and your server immediately became defensive, interrupting our conversation when no one was talking to him and kicking all of us out.
