We would consider ourselves regulars. We have never had a bad experience there. Some of their new items on the menu are amazing. Highly recommend the veracruz bowl, the cantina bowl with the plantains, the flan, their house made tableside guacamole. Madelin, Michael, and most of all Daniel el jefe, are all some of the best people around. Most of their servers do a great job and make you feel like family. I've been to other monte albans and this one stands out above the rest. Also in the picture is their cantarito...5 shots of tequila for 20 bucks...can't go wrong. And it tastes amazing.

Came here for a work function, and the server was so incredibly fun. Lots of energy and the food was incredible. Got the guacamole, and they made it right in the mortar and pestle that you could watch. Plus, I can't beat the salsa and chips. If you like shrimp, highly recommend the baja shrimp tacos.

I LOVE Monte Alban! We've been dining at this restaurant for some time now and have not been disappointed. They recently added some new items to the menu which I was excited to try. I ordered the new Burrito Azteca and it was very yummy! For the price, you got a good size burrito stuffed with fresh ingredients. I will definitely consider trying some of their other new items as they sounded really good too.

Had a great birthday dinner.Food and staff were awesome as always.I had a Poncho Special and my wife had Chicken Chilaquiles. They even gave me Mexican Ice Cream with a song and dressed me in a sombrero hat. Good times.

This place had top tier service. Our waitress was the best I have ever had. Being seated, ordering food and drinks and receiving our meal was extremely fast and with lots of care. I ordered the street tacos and was extremely pleased. I would go again.

I think this is the largest Mexican restaurant in Rochester. I later came to know they have branches. I will try all those. Despite of large place it felt crowded, then I thought it must be great place and I was not wrong. I ordered Enchiladas De Mole. Beans was served in that edible tortilla cup. Tastes great. Prices are decent. Hope the service was little bit faster.

Could not have been any better!! Chips & salsa came out fast and hot, drinks were delivered quickly, and our food was ready in no time! Everything tasted super fresh and delicious, and our server was fantastic! She even boxed up our leftovers and wrote on the containers - Wow!

Been here multiple times and it's always great. This past time must have been an off night for our server because we didn't see him for quite a while. Service is usually fantastic and the managers are out in the dining room engaging with customers. Very welcoming atmosphere!

This is my place. Its close to my house, service is ALWAYS great and the house margaritas in my opinion are the best 👌 I generally get the same thing when I come, the Burritos de Puerco. The last couple times they have not been what they could be. Each time, the food was just luke warm, the burritos seemed to be lacking in pork, and this last time, the pork was dry and hard. We were there with new people, so I didnt want to complain to the waitress because I do love it here, and they seemed to enjoy their food, so I didnt want to tarnish the experience for them. But these last couple times I have been disappointed, so I guess we will just have to see.

Gave this place a few try’s before judgement, first two visits I’ll be honest, we weren’t Impressed. Moving from the south, we were spoiled with good Mexican food so we are picky. This place is fine for a chain restaurant. Initially the salsa was terrible but we later found out that they switched to jar sauce to save money but the customers complained and they went back to fresh and you can tell the difference. Margaritas are always made right and strong. Some dishes could use more seasonings, specially the fajitas in the picture… pretty but tasteless and none of us care for their rice, they need to continue working on that. Atmosphere is great and the staff are all wonderful and attentive.

Many people believe that everyone deserves a second chance. I caved to their pressure and I attended this horrid establishment one last time. Much like the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, they could never contend with greater competition. My chicken lacked seasoning and peppers were quite rubbery. The rice saved this plate from 1 Star. Not to mention the exorbitant price hikes for smaller dishes.

Terrible experience. Ordered take out for delivery. Ordered through their website and their website charged me $25 delivery fee. I called them because this clearly has to be a mistake... the delivery fee is more than the amount I ordered for food. Manager and woman telling me "not our problem" because its through Uber or Grub Hub. Negative.... its their website and theyll scheistly charge you $25. The food was luke warm and the rice was dry as hell. Never again will I be ordering from here.
