So much fun, went on St Patrick's day. Such a beautiful reminder of an Irish Cottage. Good variety in offerings. Quick service and very pleasant work staff.
Malanie is the best!!! She was such a nice person and serving us our food 10/10 food thank you malanie!!!
Great food! Owner is friendly and lots of fun. Go there often with family. Everyone always has a delicious meal. Lots of parking. Great atmosphere.
Great food and great staff. I can't remember the name of the young lady we had. She had long straight black hair and we were a party of 17 on 12/5 Wednesday evening. She did a great job.
Great bar. Super friendly staff. Place was super busy but we got seated quick. Prices were great and that damn soup they had was amazing......The food was really good ..check it out
Best Irish food outside of Ireland! Great selection and a good American touch
Loved the atmosphere, true Irish Pub feel. Brisket burger was amazing, as was the Irish onion soup. Not a single food item was less than exceptional. Highly recommend!
Neighborhood Irish pub. We were sat at a good booth. Warm environment, likable despite being a bit dark, but appropriate for an Irish pub. Super nice middle-aged crowd. Erica was awesome from the start. Just friendly enough, assertive, great smile, efficient. We ordered the pizza logs to share, that were yummy enough, but a bit dry. I ordered the Ruben in a wrap, that was great (not the O’Ruben, that sounded great too). My husband had the Buffalo chicken Mac cheese sandwich that he liked very much.
My wife's beer batter fish fry tasted very fresh, fries were home made. Chicken Caeser wrap was delicious, generous with the chicken. The waitress was very pleasant, and checked to ask how we were doing-loved that. We'll be back.
Great Irish Pub! Nice high-backed booths. The front door of this place must weigh 300 lbs! All of the Irish favorites are on the menu. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Terrific location.
Cute homey feeling place. Every bit an Irish pub. Staff was great...welcoming and friendly and on top of it the entire time. We went for the fish fry and it was excellent and generous...huge beer battered fish done perfectly with quality fish, waffle fries a nice surprise and tasty cole slaw (so many places its just tasteless and bland). Nice big bar with happy people. Definitely be back.
The place isn't interesting to look at, but the food was very good and reasonably priced. I had the cottage pie and it was fantastic- the best I've ever had!
Great Irish Pub atmosphere. Large fireplace to warm your bones this winter. Food is always good. Whether you want wings, wraps or a great Cajun broiled haddock. Prices are reasonable, high back booths and you can even watch your favorite game if you want. Did I mention Free Popcorn!! Check it out.
Always an enjoyable experience at Timothy Patrick’s! We will be back again and again!
Awesome! Matt and team were wonderful. Thank you for hospitality and beautiful spinach salad with very generous chicken and turkey. Was excellent! Good beer selection and nice dinner options as well. Thanks again!
Came from Buffalo to eat there ....!!! Loved the potatoes skin.. loaded with super yummy ingredients! Reuben was good but i got the turkey one .. big mistake beef is better ( tasted from a friend) 😊 service was very attentive fast and super nice, will defenetly be back there!!!!
Great place, been there a few weeks in a row now with some friends. Good is consistently great, haven't gone to the bar so i can't speak to that. However waiting staff is amazing. You will wait if they are full approx 30-40 minutes for food but it's a nice environment so you don't mind the wait. Wei most defiantly be returning.
Went for lunch. The BLT had so much bacon on it, I actually took some home and made another sandwich! Our server was super nice and attentive. Really nice atmosphere, friendly, casual and welcoming.
Good food and atmosphere. Great spot to have dinner or catch a game with a few beers. Friendly staff with quick service. A delightful experience every time!
We came in on a Saturday night when they had two large parties in the bar. We almost left because it seemed so crowded, but the owner informed us that he had tables available and we were seated immediately. The staff was very attentive, despite being busy with the two large parties. Our server, Jamie, was knowledgeable about menu items and was fun and entertaining during our dining experience. Our food came quickly and was delicious! Make sure you try the Irish Onion Soup! When we left, the owner was outside sweeping snow off the steps for the guests. This restaurant clearly values its customers and the staff takes pride in what they do! Keep up the great work! :)
People love the bar. It is easier to get a table than a seat at the bar. Service is quick and professional. Food is good and tasty. Worth a visit.
Just a nice place to have a meal. It's good food and a local pub atmosphere.
This was our first time eating here! The service was good and the food was very good also! Great sized portions. Give them a try!
We had our small wedding here in June and were so very pleased with the delicious food, homey, lovely atmosphere and very fair pricing. Thank you to Matt, Phil and family for making our day even more special, you all did an amazing job!
Just had dinner this week and it was delicious! We love the cozy, Irish pub feel and the menu is great. Great wings and the best potato skins you'll ever have- seriously. Wraps, burgers and sandwiches are all really good as well. Been eating here for over 20yrs and it never disappoints.
Easy walk from nearby hotels! Unbelievably good food and great service. Extensive options on menu. Amazing soups and daily specials! Thanks for a great midday meal folks!
TPs has been a staple for me since I turned 21 and now anytime I visit. The authenticity of this Irish pub has always been something I appreciate by using materials from Ireland along with their beers and honey mustard wings. Phil and his staff have always treated us like family.
Came in for lunch today by myself was having serious pregnancy cravings and this place had just what I wanted. Everything taste an absolutely amazing and my server Kim was awesome. Definitely will be back. Hopefully I get kim again she was so friendly. 😊👍
Bartender was exeptional - crafted a great cosmo to order - they were so good I had two while we waited for our food. We ordered to go - fish fry was awesome and ceaser chicken wrap also very good. Not too crowded - nice crowd. One of my better trips here...
I went there for my first time after getting out of work early and wanted to treat a couple of my employees to a bite to eat and drink. Upon entering, the atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. We ordered 3 meals which were all very good, and drinks which were reasonably priced and prompt service from a friendly bartender. Absolutely no complaints from our experience, in fact looking forward to going back again when we are working in that part of town! Thank you. ~ Matt Coniglio (A&L painting)
Always a delicious meal at TPs and such a cozy atmosphere. Lunch and dinner menu is huge and everything I've had here is so good!
The food here has been wonderful and the service is always on point. The portions have always been generous and it really just feels like someone’s grandmother cooked your food in their home kitchen and brought it out.
We came around 1:30 while visiting family that was staying at the Marriott hotel just down the road. There were a few people at the bar and only one other party at the restaurant. I had the Buffalo Chicken Tender Wrap with chips and applesauce, which was good. Service was also good. We didn't have any drinks so I can't speak for those, but the atmosphere was great. Very Irish from the decor to the menu. Overall, I would totally recommend this.
Was back in the area and was really craving potato pancakes, unfortunately TP's did not have them on the menu. However Milly was an amazing server, the Old Sod Skins, Hot Roast Beef And the Buffalo Chicken wrap were outstanding. Thank you so much TP's for the amazing dinner service. Hopefully you can put the Potato Pancakes back on the menu one day.
Love this place, food is great, people are super nice... gonna be a regular stop!!!
Had pot roast with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. AWESOME and such a huge portion. Excellent!
First time here. I was staying at the Hampton Inn and just walked over. Had to have my pint of Guinness, which you can never go wrong with! Then, I looked over the non-meat options because it's Lent. Had the fish tacos, and they blew me away! Great atmosphere and service. Seems like mostly locals having a great time. There are plenty of TVs with every sport for the sport enthusiasts. Highly recommend.
Wow! Food, service, ambience, and beer are amazing here! We are passing through and have zero regrets in swinging by TP's! Music and conversation going on, but we could still comfortably hear the people at our table. Sportsball events broadcasted on TVs and live music gearing up. Just all around so great. This is the type of place we would be regulars at if we lived here. We will be back!
We have been here a number of times this summer and have had good experiences. Amber is a wonderful server and always remembers our preferences. In the past I usually order their excellent potato skins. Recently I have been enjoying the Reuben sandwiches. I recommend TP’s (aka Timothy Patrick’s) for great food and drinks.
TP's has a nice atmosphere, kind bar maids and delicious food. I like to come here and talk to the most handsome guy at the bar....BUDMAN! He just tickles my feathers! I highly recommend stopping in for some food and maybe a beer or two!
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! Lots of locals, which already is an excellent indicator of how great the place is. I went three separate times on my four-day stay, had three different, excellent meals and brews. 11/10 please open a location next to my house
This is a great dark Irish bar. Don't bring a book to read without a flashlight! Haha. I don't think of it as a bad thing, other than trying to read the menu! It makes you feel welcome and not on display to everyone. When your here you will know what I mean. My wife and I came here for lunch. I got the Sligo Steak Sandwhich which is choice ribeye steak cooked how you request it (Always rare for me!) smothered in onions and mushrooms, and topped with American cheese. It comes with fries and I ordered it with a side of gravy. When has gravy not been welcome on a steak sub? It was awesome and exactly what I wanted today - the gravy was spot on. My wife got the BLT burger with fried Avacado. It was cooked to her liking and she said that it was very good. We came here because she was in the mood for a burger. The burger patty was substantial. This was much bigger than your average 1/4 pound patty. It was easily 6oz if it wasn't a half pond. We ate at the bar and I had a few beers. It was a great lunch that I'll repeat in the future.
Such a cool Irish bar! It was within walking distance of the Courtyard Marriott im staying and and what a great walk down the road! Lisa at the bar was delightful! So friendly and personable. She gave me a history of the restaurant and gave me great options of what to eat. I had the potato skins which were great and filling. I was trying not to ruin dinner later this evening. Great place. Thanks Lisa!!!
Food was excellent and service was good. We went on a Sunday evening and did not have to wait at all. My wife had the special, steak and mashed potatoes, and she loved it. Her portion was expensive (for my usual tastes) but the amount of food was very worth it. I had the fish tacos, which were also outstanding. I'm very pleased with this restaurant. The ambiance and decoration were very good and displayed a large appreciation for Irish history. We will definitely be back!
Food was good, atmosphere was comfortable for talking and hanging out for a while. Waitress was quietly competent. Ladies bathroom doors have a one inch gap where they close. Hello to those in the locked stalls!
My favorite place to have wings and drinks. Cozy, fresh and comfortable place for a beer. Good location right in the middle of Penfield. Would recommend for my friends to come and have a cup of mixed Ale, decent food and watch sports on the weekend. Fire torches on the porch makes it warmer.
A nice little pub with a gorgeous interior easily spotted on Panorama Trail. I had had the Guinness beer batter fish fry, it was excellent and I would definitely reccot you give it a try. I will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.
It hasn't changed much over the years. The decor is still Irish county flags, Irish countryside pictures, and Irish themed menu. The food is always good, and the portions healthy. It's more pub type food but there are dinner specials and entrees to tempt the more sophisticated palates. I took away a star because the darkness and noisy atmosphere aren't my thing. All in all though, a decent choice for a casual lunch or dinner
Charming...handmade banners of nearly every county in Ireland hang from the beamed ceiling. Large fireplace. Cozy booths as well as open tables. It's dark--feels like a peat fire should be burning. Folks are friendly and the service is fast but the food is merely adequate. It's standard bar food: burgers, wraps, hot sandwiches, and Friday fish fry. There is cottage pie and a Reuben on the menu but that's the limit of their "traditional" Irish fare. Come for the ambience but not the food. (They do pull a good Guinness, tho)
Still a great atmosphere after many decades. Had relatives here from the UK and we remarked that it was like they never left the British Isles. Food was quite decent. Drinks are good. Service is good. Having been to Ireland I just really like the feel of the building. I know when it was constructed they took extra care with things like the thickness of the walls and the styling of the bar. It really shows. Atmosphere is one of the highlights of this place.
Pros: The food here was pretty good, priced fairly, I liked the building and spacious seating, there was no wait and ample parking. Cons: Minimal. The disposable menus need work as without pictures or descriptions, you'd have to inquire about almost everything to know what it was, service was adequate, room was a bit chilly. Everything we got was good though.
Our first visit since the Pandemic and still enjoyed our dinner. Their menu has been shorted or maybe it just appears so since they're using paper vs their original menu . Everything's different so we adjust accordingly. The staff were efficient and pleasant, tables adjusted to social distance but booths have such high backs they don't have to block using all of them. All in all know we'll visit again and it gives us more options to eat out 🙂
We went for lunch on Thursday this week. It's was very busy, and unfortunately, at least one server called in. Naturally, the service was slow. The two servers working were running really hard to keep up. I felt bad for them, but at the same time, we paid a premium for the service/food/atmosphere. So I can't help but feel short-changed.
Pub food but good, not just burgers. I had cottage pie which was filling. I found this place noisy and hard to carry a conversation. Parking is available front and back. Server friendly. Fish tacos were good also.
Great big pile of cheap greasy bar food. Liked it. Took 55 minutes from sitting until food came. That would be fine if killing time on a weekend watching a game, not acceptable for a weekday work lunch.
Food was absolutely delicious 😋 The lighting in the place was a little dark so you might need glasses if you have vision problems 👓 but the waitress was very friendly and courteous. I would recommend the reuben sandwich with coleslaw and the onion rings
Very nice Irish pub. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly. It was a Thursday and I arrived around dinner time and only waited a few minutes for a seat. I could imagine that it gets very busy on the weekends. There is a nice(fairly large) bar to belly up to. Plenty of choices on the menu. I ordered the Cottage Pie (basically a Shepherds Pie) it was very delicious. My niece ordered a specialty cocktail that too was very good. The only complaint I have is that it's rather noisy when there is a full house. Probably because of the higher ceilings, but that's not gonna stop me from making a return. I'm looking forward to trying out some more menu items.
Great sandwich menu. Somewhat limited dinner entree selections, but I liked every one of the choices. Pretty good French onion soup. I miss the potato pancakes that they used to offer under the former ownership. They used to have good wings too. Glad to see that it was busy for dinner. Reasonable prices. Good specials.
I would give 5 stars if it was a little brighter in there. But I guess maybe that's the theme they are going for. Irish Pub on the Dark Side lol. Food is great. Mashed potatoes awesome. Service at the bar is exceptional . I watched the guy take 2 full separate orders by memory at once for drinks (there were a lot) and food as well and they all came out timely and accurately.
Large eating area with a good menu. Several screens to watch different sports. Very nice staff.
A nice Irish resturant and sports bar which has a georgeous fireplace to sit by and cozy up. Atmosphere was 5 star worthy with exposed brick nice wooden benches and tables. Quaint and comfortable. 5 stars for the food and cocktails. Appetizer: soft pretzels with spicy cheese dip. 6 large soft pretzels and the cheese dip had the right amount of heat. Soup: taco. Similar to a vegetable with tiny meat balls and a light spicy flavor. Shredded cheddar topped it off. Excellent. 5 stars. Entree: cottage pie. Similar to a Sheppard pie. Plenty of beef tips to accompany the pie. Large portion enough to take home for leftovers. My partner opted for the pot roast which included carrats and mashed potatoes. Tender and yummy. 5 stars! Resturant has a nice sized parking lot. Service was on the slow side and it wasn't a busy time when we visited. 4 stars for Timothy Patrick's and we hope to visit again when we're in the area
Quaint little Irish place that feels cozy and at the same time has enough room to not feel cramped. Went for a happy hour after work on a Friday. The service was friendly, and I love the little dim lit light fixtures next to each table. The only things I didn’t like were not getting my Guinness served in a gunnies pint glass, and while the boneless wings were good, the way they do their sauce needs improvement. The boneless wings were not covered in the garlic Parmesan sauce I ordered, the sauce seemed to be poured over them or poured onto the lettuce garnish and the boneless wings set on top of them. I highly recommend putting the boneless wings into a large bowl with the garlic parm sauce and maybe some fresh Parmesan and toss it so it coats all of the boneless wings.
Only complaint is they use alot of salt on dishes. When will chefs learn that so many need low salt and we can add ourselves if we want it. Gravy was like a salt lick.
Meh. Food was over salted. Gravy in cottage pie was congealed and not too fresh tasting. Veggies—green and yellow beans with carrots —were frozen, not fresh. That’s pretty lame. Waitress was friendly...a bit too much so...stopped 4 times after we got our food and lingered too long each time. There’s too many good places to eat to waste time and money on a place that’s cutting corners.
The food is pretty good. The atmosphere is great. The beer selection is adequate. The waitress at our group's visit spent her time texting and playing on her phone. We had to actually get up twice to go find her.
Food was solid. Service was ok. The biggest problem ... $10 for a Pint on Sam adams .... even during typical happy hours. ... 40 bucks for 4 beers for two people. $90 for dinner for 2 adults and kid. ? It was decent. But for that price , probably won’t be back
Atmosphere was comfy and inviting. Service was good. Server seemed a little rushed but I get that. Food was disappointing. Ordered the corn beef and cabbage St. Paddy's special. Corned beef was a little dry but not terrible. Carrots and cabbage were way undercooked and hard to chew. Potatoes tasted like they came from a can. Disappointed 😞
We just moved to the area and we were really excited about this spot becoming our regular ! The first few times were awesome but the last two weren’t so much. The server continued to mess up our order, we waited a while and gave us the wrong bill. This last time we went with our baby, they said we didn’t need a reservation. We showed up and we were told there would be a 25 minute wait, we waited for 10 minutes and the entire time there were 3 tables open. Maybe they were for a reservation? We also saw the same server as the previous time and she walked by swearing mad at something. Just bummed!
Went for a party in the bar area. Only one bartender, was difficult just to get her attention for a drink. She was talking to others whom already had drinks. Gave her a tip but she didn't say anything.
The place was immaculate. Great service too. But honestly some of the worst food I've ever had in my life. Way overpriced for the quality. You can get better food at pretty much any chain restaurant.
So I've been here a couple times and always have been a solid experience, today was not. We ordered certain wings and certain steaks and neither we're done correctly as instructed. Not only that but it took way too long to even get our food and by the time we did get our food we were already in a hurry and couldnt even complain because at that point we'd either have to eat the food or leave. Only got two stars because the last servingdus was nice. Very dissatisfied today.
Advertisement on website was not at all what they are offering in restaurant. Very disappointed!!! What selection they did have (and what my husband and I wanted) wasn't available and what we did finally end up with is what I would call mediocre. If I wanted a grilled chicken sandwich, I could go anywhere for that. The waffles fries were cold and the Shepards Pie was disgusting. Would I come back, "No".
This place has gotten a lot worse. The wings are very bland, hot is comparable to other places mild. Also, my brother in law's glass broke spilling beer everywhere through no fault of his own and they didn't comp anything.
Ordered a chicken wrap, coleslaw, french fries and soup to go. Prices online are inaccurate - these items were charged as $3-4 more than what was listed online. Service was kind and welcoming, but wow the food was overwhelmingly disappointing. Wrap was the worst I've ever had. Rotten greens, skimpy cheese, rubbery chicken. French fries tasted like they were heated up from a freezer bag store bought. Coleslaw was terrible. French onion soup was okay. I'd only give 1 star but the wait staff was really nice. Waste of $23.
I would advise ordering nothing off the grill, 1st time I came here and the steak and mushrooms tasted like gas. I sent it back and got the pot roast and that tasted like gas too! Very bad 1st impression. Luckily tho we might come back because there wings were Amazing. My girlfriend got the Sheppard a pie and that was very good too.
This place feels unsafe! Some very shady characters work here. Ladies be careful.
I ate there on 10-26-24 I would never go back there, was with my Girlfriend who couldn’t eat much due to an upset Stomach, she asked for a grilled cheese they don’t even know how to make a grilled Cheese, unbelievable are you kidding me.The food is ok there but that’s it,diners have better food than they do.
My husband and I took 2 friends to dinner here to try TP's as the menu looked great! However, the food is less than great; It's awful. The potato pancakes were hash browns that appears to have been previously fried and then warmed in a microwave; Very soggy and not true potato pancakes . As a matter of fact all the dinners seemed to be reheated and definitely not homemade. Gravy was canned, the sausage plate was small and dried out......We won't go back. It appears to be more of a "local watering hole" than a place for good food.
Had bad service by the bar tender food was horrible
They were not busy and we soon learned why. Food was less than appetizing. Steak was supposed to be medium rare, it came over done. Sausage platter was dry. Best was the drinks...
If you don't like any seasoning in your food, then this is the place for you! The Buffalo wings were ok, but everything else was extremely blah. The coleslaw and fries were inedible. WHY IS IT SO DARK IN HERE? THATS NEVER A GOOD SIGN IN A RESTAURANT! Shamrock Jack's is a billion times better.
I ordered a pot roast that "came with" a salad. I instead received lettuce hearts that were inedible, cold, hard meat atop fake mashed potatoes and grey-looking verges. I didn't finish the salad and couldn't take a second bite of the entree. There is no doubt that the meal was at some point frozen and reheated. When I first mentioned the food was tough and still cold, the waitresses said I was wrong (that the meat was supposed to be tough) then later apologized after trying to cut through it. She still charged me for the lettuce that was supposed to be apart of the entree and was also left uneaten. In addition, my boyfriends food was just as disappointing. It was undercooked, cold and definitely not fresh. We ultimately returned all food and ended up being charged $30 for 2 beers and 2 lettuce bowls. It was a truly awful experience.
Wife and I ordered burgers done medium. They both came out rare. We were told they were on a timer but the owner forgot to tell the cook they were larger than normal. Sent them back and they were still rare. Server was crazy embarrassed. Paid for our drinks and left. Maybe the could hire a chef instead of a cook? Never going back. Place is so dark, needs a facelift.
