April 20, 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped by Jack in the Box around 10PM ⏰ for some late-night food, and while the experience had its quirks, the food was hot, fresh, and super tasty! There weren’t many tables inside 🪑 — just a few scattered around — but since we were the only ones there, that didn’t really matter. Just giving some reference that there’s a lot more space than seating. Now, let’s talk about the temperature. It wasn’t just warm — it was actually 79°F inside 🔥🥵 while it was only 62°F outside ❄️. I took a picture of the thermostat 📸 because it seriously felt like a sauna. Not exactly a relaxing place to sit and eat. When we came in, no one greeted us 🤷♂️, and we had to wait a bit ⏳. Eventually, someone showed up and mentioned she was about to clock out, but she still took our order and apologized 🙇♀️ for the delay, which we appreciated. Now for the good part — the food was fantastic! • My wife got the #15 Teriyaki Bowl 🍚 and an egg roll 🥢. The bowl was super flavorful and hot, and the egg roll? Crispy and honestly better than what we’ve had at some Chinese restaurants 🥡✨. • I had the #4 Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger 🥓🧀🍔 with curly fries 🍟 — hot, cheesy, and packed with flavor. All the food was fresh, steaming hot, and clearly made to order — one of the big benefits of going late at night 🌙. Overall: • Food: awesome ✅ • Service: slow but polite ✅ • Temperature: too hot inside ❌🔥 • Would we come back? Yeah, for the food! 🍔🍟🍚🥡🌡️📸🌙🧾🥵✨
Mobile orders: takes them 30 minutes+ to prepare mobile orders. Yesterday evening, it took me close to 40 minutes to get my order.. I drove for 20 minutes due to traffic jam on 380 and when I got there, the order was not ready. The young/high school servers present were doing very less to even interact with me.. Taco Bell across the street had same slow response but has recently improved their mobile orders. Mobile drivers rely on quick delivery for our tips and customer satisfaction..
I don’t understand how you can leave a good review about this place. We placed a mobile order with a few items. At the drive thru they gave me my munchie box and was telling us we had everything. THAT WAS NOT EVERYTHING! There were drinks and other items ordered for me and my girlfriend to eat. It was already looking bad on the workers at that point and definitely gave off a bad feeling.(Before I go on that munchie box that was handed to me was almost cold you could tell that food was not fresh.) Once they were aware we had more food we got the rest of the food and it was not right. I wish I had a picture to show but the lady bagging up the food gave me a bag with the fries just thrown in there with no container and the WRONG FRY! THE ORDER SAID CURLY FRY!!! We also did not get our mini churros. We walked inside and explained. The lady we were talking to at the counter explained to the lady that was bagging the food our situation about the fry. She said with attitude “then give them a large curly fry then, we don’t take back fries or food”. We also mentioned how we did not get our mini churros but what do you know the girl with all this attitude bagging the food already had our churros ready beside her and did NOT PUT THEM IN THE BAG! How hard is it to put curly fries in a container and to put our mini churros in the bag?? She had all this attitude towards the lady we talked to at the counter and in general. You could tell she is one of those workers that is ready to quit or just doesn’t give a crap about her job. I just don't get it whoever is in charge of this place for goodness sake fix up whatever is going on at this location. It will always be the worst Jack in the Box I have ever come to and the worst experience as well. 0 stars if I could
Went through the drive thru at 1:57a.m. And the girl asked if I had a pick up order, I told her I’d like to place an, the girl working the window then tells me, “sorry we’re closed” I said, ok. And rive away because if they didn’t want service, I definitely don’t want to eat there.
Worst location I’ve ever been too. I’ve got my order messed up twice like you guys can’t read a simple paper receipt to see what I ordered and place it in a bag, WOW SUCH A HARD JOB. They were gonna let me drive off with half my order missing and then you get attitude from the girl bagging the items when it’s clearly your fault these items are missing. This location needs to fire all these employees and get new ones.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews and normally try to resolve issues directly with a business first, but this experience at Jack in the Box needs to be shared. Tonight my wife purchased a taco box for our daughter. When we opened it, one of the tacos appeared to have a bite taken out of it. We were obviously concerned and disgusted. My wife returned to the store to speak with management, expecting at least a replacement or refund. Instead, the response was rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. She was told they could not offer a refund and was brushed off with “no one here would do that,” with no real attempt to resolve the situation or acknowledge the concern. Food safety and basic customer service should be taken seriously. A simple apology and professional handling would have made a big difference, but that didn’t happen here.
THE EMPLOYEES ARE DISGUSTING! THEY SOLD ME TACOS WITH BITE MARKS..YES THEY TOOK A BITE OF MY FOOD. They are tampering with your food and doing God knows what to it!!! Wish I was able to upload pictures!! I drove back to this location and asked to speak with a manager. Daisy stated a manager was not on site and to call or come back in the morning for a refund.
Your employees need to get some customer service skills. Completely ignoring customers in the dining room. When asking the staff if we could purchase a drink we got no response from the male or the female working the evening of January 27th. The male working was too busy take orders for his friends on his cell phone. They were so rude they would not even make eye contact with us. Honestly, you do not like your job, go find a new one.
Worst jack in the box ever. Rarely get our order right. Constantly out of items. And the straw that broke the camels back was ordering online then when you go to pick it up they tell you they are closed because of low staffing. They cant cancel orders at the store and it took 11 days to get a refund from contacting customer support and Noone ever reached out to even say sorry. As a long time fan of jack, its sad to say there are better options out there.
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! Second time it said it was not serving and closed do to short staff. Not how to run a company... if it's short staff, why are there people even being paid to be at the store. They need to be fired or shut the store down!!! Reviewed 10:30pm on 01/06. This will be last time I come to this place. Always the same food is always wrong!! Staff just standing around on their phones!!! And horrible attitudes!!! Needs new Management!!!
On New Year’s day around 3 o’clock in the morning we went to Jack-in-the-Box stood in line for almost an hour just to get up there for them to tell us that their systems were down very unappreciated. They could’ve came out and told us obviously they just didn’t want to walk to our car and let us know that their systems were down while everybody’s waiting in line and that’s very very unprofessional.
I posted this 4 days ago on yelp and called to store to get some answers but no luck so I’d rather have corporate see this review and fire everybody in the store At 7:20 PM, four days ago This location was is supposed to be open but the girl in the black shirt in the photos I’ve provided would not let anybody in when I asked if there was somebody higher up I could speak to. She went on to ignore me, but handled the DoorDash and Uber eats orders instead I was gonna do takeout, but she kept pointing at something but she wouldn’t answer anybody in the drive-through either. Honestly, the crew in these photos needs to be fired because if you were going to refuse somebody’s service and not give anybody a reason, then you do not deserve to work you are considered lazy and unethical and I honestly hope she sees this review. I have been waiting for management to call me back, but nobody will answer the phone. You have plenty of people who are trying to get jobs but yet you hired the most laziest people ever for this past week. Nobody has been satisfied with this Jack in the box because your crew is horrendous with not only serving people crappy food, but also refusing people service because you don’t wanna let anybody into the dining room or take orders from the drive-through that is how locations lose money don’t get me wrong. I love this Jack in the box, but this girl needs to be fired. All three of them need to be fired and honestly, I would like to speak to the manager in person to make sure that those three get fired cause personally it is the managers fault, even if y’all were shortstaffed this girl clearly had no respect and kept shooing away everybody who was trying to order.
This place used to be good, with friendly staff and decent food. Now its possibly the worst restaurant in princeton, along with McDonald's. A restaurant is only as good as the people running it, and the people/kids running Jack in the Box are among the laziest and clueless in the area. How hard is it to find people that will do their job correctly and without treating the customer's poorly? With the amount of one and two star reviews its a wonder how this place is still open. Any time someone asks if Jack in the Box is any good I just pull up this review page and let them see for themselves how there's almost nothing over a 3 star review with the vast majority being 1 or 2 stars. Just by doing this I have probably saved a few dozen people from the horrible experience of eating at the Princeton Jack in the Box.
Food was below expectation, service was slow, and the atmosphere felt neglected. Not here to bash just giving a real experience so people know what they’re walking into.
Do NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THE PRINCETON, TEXAS location. Or any others owner by this franchise owner. I ordered thru the Jack in the Box APP. The food was made immediately after I ordered. The driver picked up my order, AFTER the time JACK IN THE BOX set to be here by the latest time, 40 minutes after it was made. Three restaurants decision to give our dinner to a LATE delivery driver, cold, without a drink carrier (we had 2 LARGE drinks and a medium and kids) had terrible consequences. The driver shows up 12-15 minutes AFTER the set time by Jack in the Box. He handed me the bag as fast as he could and at the same time was trying to hand me all 4 drinks?? I set the bag down next to me and took the drinks and asked my daughter to come help me with the bag. In the mean time I'm trying to tell the duvet he's very late and he's just laughing and smiling and shaking his head saying yes yes yes, he did not understand what i was saying. I asked who he worked for because they were late. He laughed my daughter said, door dash or uber eats? He shook his head and said door dash. Then the bag on the way to the kitchen was dripping. The bags bottom ripped open and wet inner bags and then food went everywhere. I tried to find a way to contact the restaurant, there's NO WAY. So we drive the food back to show them what happened and asked if they would remake the soaking wet, ice cold meal for us and explained what happened. I was SHOCKED to hear her say, "there's nothing we can do" I drive forward and explained to her and SHOWED her the bag bags and food and she said nope nothing sorry. So I ask her to call get mgr or owner, she called the assistant mgr. She tells me once the food is paid for leaves the location they're NOT responsible for it anymore. I say ok which company picked up our food? She said we don't know. WHAT THE HECK?!?! So I asked her, you his just let whoever want to grab people's food without proving who they are and work for, she said yes we do. So we asked for the owner to call, or general mgr about this. And we contact Door Dash, they tell us since we ordered thru the Jack in the Box app, they cant help us. It seems like this jack in the box location, at least, and Door Dash have a nice little scam going on. The owner isn't losing money on these kinds of issues because they let anyone who comes in pick up people's orders, whenever they decide to pick it up, even way after it should have been delivered, if the delivery person dumps soda into the bags, oh well that's not on the owners. And Door dash says, well it WAS or driver but you ordered your food thru the restaurant app and we can't help you. Nice scam.
WORST JACK IN THE BOX EVER!!!!! DO NOT USE THE APP TO ORDER IN PRINCETON TEXAS. THEY MAKE THE FOOD IMMEDIATELY AND GIVE THE DELIVERY DRIVER 40+ MINUTES TO DELIVER. WHAT TEMPERATURE DO THEY THINK THE FOOD IS GONNA ARRIVE AT. NO MORE!! I'VE TRIED AND TRIED TO REACH THE OWNER OR EVEN A MANAGER. NOTHING. NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. RUN FROM THIS LOCATION!! Update Well we received our food 15 minutes past the time it was supposed to be at my door. The jack in the box employees let the door dash driver take our food after it was already supposed to be at my door. And didn't give him a cup holder for 4 drinks. He dumped soda in our bag of food and handed it over to me without saying anything. The food dropped thru the soaking wet bottom of the bag and spilled every where. All the food was SOAKED AND RUINED. I took it back to jack in the box to just get it remade. Only they REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING. The asst mgr, Marbella tells me its not their problem?!?!, I say you sent my food out past the time it was already supposed to be at my house and she said nothing we can do. I hope the general Mgr sees this. They're supposed to call me tomorrow. Door dash driver delivered this inedible food knowing he food that!! Disgusting customer service. DON'T LOSE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE SCAM THIS JACK IN THE BOX AND DOOR DASH ARE RUNNING!!
I mistakenly went inside instead of the drive thru. No ice. No lids. Only 1 of 3 flavors worked in the machine. They didn't have anything in the back either. Fries are cold. Drink station is messy. And they didn't get some of the order right. Everyone's standing around behind the counter talking. Got home and found all the drinks we did get .. were totally flat. What happened to Jack in the box?! This used to be a decent place. Go somewhere else till you start to see good reviews. It feels like they are about to shut down or something.
Horrible customer service. Rude employees and the longest wait ever. Do NOT go here. They will forget all about you and the good you ordered and you’ll be sitting there waiting for 30 minutes.
I normally would not leave a negative review at a restaurant but since they cant answer the phone i have no choice. My grandson is a very picky eater so i ordered him a chicken sandwich and told them i only wanted chicken, ketchup and pickles on the sandwich and the DT employee even said it back to me correct. Should have checked my bag because when i get home the sandwich had cbeese and mayo added with the ketchup and pkckles and i have called several times to try to get it made correct but nobody will answer. I would like a full refund now.
