When going out to eat with a large family, I sometimes feel very anxious because it can be overwhelming for staff to see such a large group with children. However, my fears were put to rest yesterday. All the praise goes to our amazing server Heather C. This beautiful soul did not hesitate to take our family of ELEVEN in her section last night. She took great care of us with a smile. She took time to check in on us whilst running around to her other guests. The drink machine was down but she (along with the bartender) got all our drink orders right anyway. The food was delicious! Overall, the whole family had a wonderful meal.

The Atmosphere was very nice Dim Lighting, Sports Day so TV's are on Sports which I don't mind. Food was Great, even had Leftovers to bring home to eat the next day. Service was Also Very Good, came Rt to our table after we were seated not us waters n our drinks... We then ordered our meals an they were back within 20 mins with them n they were made just the way we ordered.... We will Definitely Come Back Again 😋!!!

Surprisingly great haven't been to an applebees in about 20 years. I typically go to more locally owned places but my experience was very pleasant the food was good as well as extremely affordable. The server was also very kind and attentive.

I visited the to go section tonight around 6:00pm. There was a young man working with brown hair and blue eyes. Soon as I pulled up, he was running out the door. I realized he was running to ME! How wonderful it was to have service right away again. That’s unheard of. Not only was he working hard and aware. He was very friendly, I felt comfortable being in the small space ordering and paying with him. (believe me, most cashiers make it awkward) he didn’t give off judgy vibes like a lot of servers do to me; due to wearing work boots and looking a mess. He was just awesome and remembered everything down to the ketchup. You really don’t understand how much this means. I travel for work and I’m away from home 365 days a year with breaks here and there. I have met ALOT of cashiers and workers. I have only met ONE other worker that has the drive, kindness, and demeanor that this guy showed today. He is rare and should be appreciated. Thank you young man for my dinner, and treating me like any other human. (It’s sad that I am so excited about being treated like a human, so please take this compliment and never change) But the steak was unevenly cooked with a lot of red parts that I had to eat around. I think it is an equipment issue. Not a cook issue with the way I noticed the uneven parts. The food was fresh, hot, and was good still. Just way more rare than I would have liked. Forgot to write this like 2 weeks ago but had a great experience. First time at this location and our server Mac attack (Mac) was great. Very kind and always asking if we needed refills or anything. During our meal we got chatting and learned a bit about all of us and was a fun experience. I highly recommend going here. Thanks Mac for a great experience!

It's my favorite place, the food... a chef's kiss. Never got disappointed, they're quick, the staff is friendly, there are always offers and if not for the offers their prices and varieties are great.

This was a much better experience than other locations that I have been to. Service was fast, and the wait staff was polite. Clean dining area. The music level was not overpowering so you could have a conversation with your party. I am glad I gave this location a try.

The food was amazing and the dining experience was great. Waiter was very polite and food came at a reasonable time. The only complaint I have is the hamburger I ordered was greasier than would have liked. Overall greasy time with my family. :)

We were visiting relatives in Albany, New York, and we went there for an early dinner. The food was good. I chose the half baby pork ribs with onion rings and green beans. It was quite good. I enjoyed!

Had a variation of foods this trip around. Everything was delicious. The cook was able to prepare a great flavored and well cooked meal in record time. The waitresses were patient and served well. This would be a 5 star if the drink(alcohol) selection were more expanded. Some drinks go better with some foods. Otherwise, this was an excellent visit

It had been a long day and we were traveling and kind of in a hurry which we told the waiter when he greeted us. He did have a table of like five couples but we were a little slow and getting started after that. It was great.

Server McKenna was single handedly managing the entire restaurant while she waited for her coworkers to show. Still a great smile and pleasant demeanor. Food was typical Applebee's, although the burger my friend ordered did look pretty good!!!! I got the four cheese mac, but instead of the chicken that comes with it, i asked for BBQ. The seasonal cocktail was the Reindeer, which was a vodka cran with a splash of Grenadine. Tasty!

We went early for lunch.. impossible burgers were pretty good. Since it was early, it was quiet! Quick service!

I love the food,had bad luck with a few waitresses. My burger isn't always cooked right. But 80% of time it's spot on.

Did a delivery order this evening for the 2 for $25. Ordered the 60z sirloin with garlicky mash and green beans. Mash was missing and received broccoli instead. I also ordered the boneless wings with ranch and they also forgot that as well

I went with my son this time(it's not my first time here). Honestly everything was just regular. I just don't really like that I'm usually the only poc there. I don't know if it's just who is living in that neighborhood but I've been there about 3 times and it's always just who I'm with and i and maybe one other group.

The restaurant smelled like salad dressing when we arrived somehow. I had fettuccine alfredo, and it was alright. Also served at the table were riblets and fish and chips. My friends did not like their food. They all said the taste was not good or not tasty. I'm not sure what was happening in the kitchen. We probably will count that one and done.

Stopped in at 9 PM for half abs on February 19, 2024. It was just the closing server and the bartender on duty. Our server was Our server seemed a little overwhelmed, but she had a few tables so I didn’t mind. However, after our drink order was put in. It took a while for the drinks to come to the table, and I saw them being ready at the bar for about five minutes. The server then said I’ll be right with you guys. Your drinks just came up. But they had been sitting there for five minutes so I wasn’t really happy that I was lied to, but whatever. She tried to upsell us a lot, which I understand why she did it but if we say no the first and second time don’t ask us the third time. It’s kind of annoying. I then ordered another drink after finishing mine and it took forever to come in and I noticed that the bartender had not stopped moving and stopped working so I figured she was, really busy and didn’t mind that as I’m a bartender myself. Me and my friend were talking about it and then decided to move from our table to the bartender because our server seemed overwhelmed and was kinda rude. But I’m a bartender so I let it go. we did tell our service to cancel the drink as we were moving over to the bar. We then heard our server very loudly and very rudely. Tell the bartender cancel that one drink you took too long to make it. I wasn’t really gonna write this review to begin with based on the experience because you know we all have our off nights, however After she very loudly and rudely told the bartender she took too long. I decided to write this. Because she let our first strength sit there for five minutes so I don’t know what she was talking about. After we moved to the bar, we had a really great time for the rest of the night. However, I do believe the server should get a stern talking to you about how they treat their coworkers. I don’t think she should lose her job, but she definitely needs to not talk to people like that

I mean it’s Applebees. I never expect much. It was an after work get together. It was affordable. The drinks and food were decent. The mango margarita is highly recommended. The service was ridiculously slow.

I realize weed is now legal but I should not have to dine in a restaurant and have the waitress smell like a weed factory. Myself or my family don't use the crap and don't appreciate having to smell it while a waitress is taking our orders or serving our food. Not to mention management allowing this to happen.

The entire visit left me realizing why I hadn’t been to an Applebee’s in so long. But we recently went to an Applebee’s in Littleton, NH and everything was so good at that visit that I recommended going to a location here in the capital region. We unfortunately received dull service. The chicken tortilla soup was almost half filled with topping with a smaller than normal portion of soup. Other food didn’t come out quick and was noticeably not as good as the last time we ordered in NH. Overall disappointing, because we just experienced how enjoyable an Applebees visit could be.

Well this is likely my last Applebee's visit. They made my food wrong (with meat I'm vegetarian) twice after forgetting to make it in the first place. Then didn't give me everything I ordered. The whole visit was a mess and at the end of it all I was charged full price for one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences I've had potentially ever. The adamancy of not making the experience right to protect the check dollar amount was wild. I work in food customer service and we are always about making the experience right. It was weird to be in a situation with such a different perspective and course of action. Two stars is because the server was pleasant and for no other reason.

Not a great experience. We were on way to a vacation and needed to get some food to take back to the hotel for the night. Placed a Carryout order for pickup at 9:10, gave them our location because they said it would ensure a low wait. Waited for our food for twenty minutes with the first 15 not having a single person stop by to talk to us. Multiple other patrons came in the side door and grabbed waiting food without anyone there to make sure they were the correct person. Was told the reason it was going to be so long was the clubhouse grill so I figured they were making that item then. Hotel was 5 minutes away. Fries were cold, clubhouse grill was cold, ticket on salad said 86 breadstick for my gluten sensitive wife and they still put it on there. Not great

This is my second time eating at this specific location and both times there was an issue. I'll focus on today. The server (Eileen) never introduced herself (no problem) she jumped right into "what would you like to drink". My wife ordered a lemonade, had to send it back. Waited for about 10 minutes to get her water. Then when she bought the mozzarella sticks out (which was cold) she somehow walked past us then backed up like "oh there you are". Then while bringing out our food, she walked past us again. As if we were invisible. My wife had to ask for steak sauce twice before she got it because she forgot. While eating our food she decided to give us our check which we did not ask for. She seemed as if she just didn't want to be bothered. I also had to ask for the "lemonade" to be removed from my bill although she stated she did it already.

Food was awful. I stopped going because it was horrible before. My daughter wanted to go so i went. Still horrible. The pretzel bread sticks with cheese was EXTREMELY salty and cheese was more like milk consistency. Steak was super garlicky, mashed potatoes were gluely and the "crunchy" shrimp was soggy. My sons pizza was burnt on the bottom. My daughters chicken sandwich seemed ok. Service was awesome. The server was amazing. Food was just absolutely awful. For $80 id hope for edible food.

We ordered the 2 for 25. One chicken and one steak. The chicken has no flavor at all.. The steak was like shoe leather it was very dry. Well I go there again....NOPE! that was the worst dinner ever!! The server we had was very nice.

Went there 3 different times in 1 week and each time, my steak was so overcooked. Got it fixed the first the first got time and, it's just bad. Some of the servers are great and the others just gossip to one another, loudly, and it's just not a comfortable atmosphere.

Went here for lunch with family after a gathering and spent almost $200 and 4 of our meals was under cooked (raw) or rolls for the burgers and sandwiches was hard as a rock! I gave it a 2 because the server was actually nice and was concerned as well! Being a frequent customer , this one time bad experience they will not see me back there after charging that kind of money for the type of food that was served today

Food was good. Server charged our personal credit card twice instead of using a 50 dollar gift card we gave her. I'm not sure if it was a mistake and she threw out the 50 dollar gift card or if she stole it 🤷‍♂️ accidents happen but I won't return there.

I've eat’n food from here many times and no no complaints. But today I ordered in and you gave me old chicken fingers that were fried over and over. Just old sitting around chicken. Look at the photos. I'm disappointed. Would you eat this? Don't ever buy this again.

This place is horrible. Gianna one of the waitresses gets confused if you swap mashed potatoes for Mac and cheese. She was rude and in a bad mood taking it out on us. She also came to our table with three plates and there’s only two of us. When she came with the bill, the third dish we did not order and sent back to the kitchen was on our bill. She was still trying to convince us to pay for something she messed up on. We asked to speak to the manager and he proceeded to talk rudely and loudly still wanting to charge us extra money. When we told him just print a new receipt with what we ordered so we can pay and go. He refused got irate and told us the bill was on him and that we can never return to that Applebees. I won’t be returning.

Terrible meal. Food came before drinks. Had to ask 4 times for water. Baby a k ribs were not completely cooked (so tough they had to be sawed apart with a teak knife) and cold. Sent them back. Next set was a little warmer but just as tough:uncooked. By then the rest of my party had eaten so I boxed them up so I could finish cooking them at home. 2 of the others had all you could eat entrees but were never asked if they wanted more. This used to be a good establishment but no more

I walked in with my family of 5, was not even as much as greeted by the lady at the door. She grabbed menus, and we followed her because that’s what you’re supposed to do. She then placed the menus on a table with 4 chairs, grabbed trash off of a different table, and walked to the bathroom. All while not saying a single word to us. We walked out. I have never dealt with someone so ignorant. If you don’t want to work with the public, then don’t.

We went for dinner last night for my brother's birthday and we ended up waiting over an hour for our food. I understand them being understaffed but they prioritized mobile and huge catering order for the globe trotters. And when we brought up that we were thinking about canceling our order and leaving we were given attitude about how that's our perogative. If you are understaffed and or would rather prioritize catering and make all your other customers wait and feel not important then be honest with guests so they know if they want quicker service they'd be better off going somewhere else. because it would be better to not waste everyone's time and save yourself a bad review

Went there tonight with our two friends and we were not impressed with our food at all. My fiancé's fries were cold her burger was very greasey as well as the bun was soggy. My mashpotatos were cold. Our friends bone in wings were raw. When my friend had said the wings were raw to the bartender that has black hair and is skinny said to them that's nice and was very disrespectful towards customers and all the manager did was comp some of the meals and continued to let the bartender argue with us.

Food was very cold and distasteful. This is usually my go to Applebees but last night I was very disappointed with the server , the wait , and how cold the food was. The appetizers were hot but not the entrees. In fact, appetizer was so hot that the plate burnt my sister hand and the waiter did not seem to believe her so she touch the plate again. She did not apologize. Also they sat food in front of the wrong person every time. It was not a pleasant experience, definitely lost a costumer.

from start to finish this was definitely a terrible experience! the greeter sat us down and i attempted to ask for a booster seat since we had a smaller child with us, the greeter practically ran away from the table without asking if we needed anything. the server came over about ten minutes later and she started to take our order . my child was talking to her about his order and she told him to please shush so she can take the order which was rude most definitely! By the time my child’s kids pizza came he goes to pick it up and we can visually see how burnt the bottom of the pizza was. I picked up a slice myself to examine it and all four slices were badly burnt and hard as hell ! I called the server over and let her be aware that the pizza was burnt and he was not eating that pizza and requested a new one , the server then said what’s wrong with the pizza and i showed her how burnt it was and she nonchalantly said oh ok i’ll put in a new one and left the pizza at the table. I then put the pizza in a napkin because at this point i did not want it there especially since it was badly burnt and we had to wait another fifteen minutes for his pizza to get done because they put it on a broiler to cook this time since it was “burnt” the waiter said . definitely wouldn’t recommend this place or go back !

I came in and paid for the takeout to go. My ticket was $21 something and I tipped $5. Cashier said it will be ready in 19 minutes so I went to Home Depot and I came back in about 22 minutes. To my surprise the girl said your food's not ready I miss charged you for steak & shrimps & voided it you should get your money back and 3 days. OMG are you serious and she said I got to pay again for my correct order. So I said could you get the manager please. I asked the manager so what do I get for my inconvenience here I am I got to sit here additional 5 minutes and you got my money tied up for 3 days he gave me nothing

Here at the one In Rensselaer, NY. The server is too arrogant and rude. I simply stated my wings were not what is described “Double Crunch Bone-In” He stated the first time they were and the second time I repeated it, he stated he knows for sure they are. Look at the photo and tell me what looks remotely battered. I took them home to cook be cooked to a crisp as they should. I won’t return here. That kind of attitude turns me off. Service altogether was slow and the group of us had to constantly ask other waiter/waitresses for more than one napkin, a plate to eat appetizers and something simple like water 3 times ****Edit*** Here it is 10/5/21 and still waiting on make up vouchers from Al in the mail which he offered, that shows the lack in honesty of management

Bathrooms smell. Pretzels are over cooked exterior with almost dough center. Please and thank you are not in use, "yup" is used instead. Raido is too loud and poor choice of music. Wait staff socializing while one other does the side work. Bar has a sticky feel to it. The floors need to be washed, grease film to them. Staff needs to learn the difference between rum, bourbon, and rye.

Went to this establishment on Sunday 2/25. We ordered the chicken, rib let, and shrimp endless meals. The experience was extremely underwhelming . The service was very slow. The waitress really didn’t want to be there, and it showed. The food was a disaster. The chicken was overcooked and rubbery. The ribblets were full of bones and cold. The shrimp were extremely undercooked (raw doughy coating) Fry’s had no seasoning, and the stuff they called coleslaw left a lot to be desired. Avoid this meal. It’s not worth the $15.99.

I have eaten here with friends several times in the last year and each time I wonder why we bothered. The quality of the food is mediocre, the wait staff is routinely rude and this location always seems to be understaffed. Today we came to celebrate a birthday and were told the wait would be 30 minutes. I repeatedly watched as other people walked through the door and boldly just walked past the waitlist to seat themselves. When I complained to the host and hostess I was treated so disrespectfully that I will never even consider going to this location again. Stay away!! You can do so much better elsewhere!!

Abysmal. The atmosphere was horrible and horrendously atrocious. Decor more like DeBor! But in all honesty stop eating at cruddy restaurants that don't take care of the staff or customers. Support local. Go eat somewhere new! Treat yourself to an adventure!

What an absolute joke of a place. They refused to serve me a cocktail because they wouldn’t accept my Spanish ID, even when I showed it together with a photo of my passport. Are you serious? It’s an official government-issued document that clearly proves my age. But no — if it’s not some plastic U.S. ID, apparently it doesn’t count. That’s not just strict, it’s downright stupid. If you’re a tourist, don’t even bother coming here. The staff clearly have no idea how the rest of the world works. Rude, inflexible, and completely unreasonable. Never again.

First time here and I can say it somewhere I would go to again. The service was horrible once the host came up front and sat us down it took a good 8-10 minutes for the server to come of and take our order. Everyone got in my party got their drinks and I had to wait an extra 5 to 7 minutes from my house because they changed it out the diet Pepsi container and then I think she forgot. Then we waited about 15 to 20 minutes for the food. I’m guessing it was a back up in the kitchen, but the server never let us know. Then she bought the appetizers out and the plate was super hot and she didn’t even warn me. I burnt my hand and then I said something to her and then she’s gonna fill the plate as if I was lying like no it’s hot and you could’ve warned me plate is hot , another 20 minutes before our food came out. Our food came out very cold. Couldn’t even go complain the server came back to the table to ask if everything was OK. The portion size of the two for 32 did not match was on the menu. It was not good. I’m just really upset that I went out with my family to celebrate Halloween and my food was disgusting $70 on a cold meal for all that I I could’ve went to McDonald’s cause it was definitely giving me McDonald’s service.

I used to love this place cause the food was fresh and good and the service was nice . But since my last three time that I had been there this year I started to have a really bad experience with the food and service . The brought me the food one/5 hour after i ordered . The steak was cold , dry and hard to eat … the broccoli was so salty and the French fries was cold and hard . And the manager doesn’t care about us just say sorry and my daughter was feeling so hungry and she couldn’t eat nothing . I just was feeling disappointed cause we used to love this restaurant but the quality now is getting low .

Went in Saturday for lunch and got the 2 for $25. Half way through my cheeseburger I find a hair cooked into it. The waitress was nice about it. Took $10 off the bill. My wife couldn't finish eating. For $30 I would have just compensated the whole meal. I will never go here again. Disgusting. You think a Mgr would have at least apologized.

I was really disappointed with my visit to Applebee’s. The food was just okay very average at best but what really bothered me was that the chicken tasted cheap and overcooked, like they cut corners on quality. For how expensive everything was, I expected a lot better. To make things worse, I actually saw a mouse running along the floor near one of the booths. That completely ruined my appetite and made me question how clean the place really is. My server was amazing. Overall though, not worth the money. Between the high prices, mediocre food, and hygiene issues, I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Horrendous! Took over an hour to get our food, which when we got it was nasty. My burger was like a hocked puck. Service is horrible, had to ask for a water 3 times before getting one. Messed up our check and also the waitress dropped her edibles on the floor in front of us and left them there. Additionally, menus were dirty and we watched multiple people be turned away by the hostess. Beware!

I've been waiting at the front for 5 to 10 minutes, and then I went straight to ask a lady for help with my order. I showed her my online order but she seemed confused and asked for my order name when the order was in front of her eyes I showed her the order again, but she reacted strangely, almost like she was amused. I think she might have been under the influence of something because her behavior was very unprofessional. She gave me attitude and stopped responding. When I asked another lady for help, she also showed a similar attitude, seeming uninterested and dismissive. I'm surprised by the behavior of these employees, especially in a customer-facing role. I believe everyone should be respectful, The situation escalated until I spoke to the manager, who handled it professionally and apologized. He was understanding and provided excellent service, which I appreciate. However, the behavior of those employees was unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope the management takes action to address this issue, or I might need to involve law enforcement in the future if I encounter similar behavior. The experience was disappointing, and I expect better service from a reputable establishment like yours.

Never going to this Applebee’s again. My pasta was undercooked and the chicken - overcooked somehow. The manager, Eileen was my friend and I’s server. We stayed there a lot longer than we wanted to - an hour and 15 minutes, because we waited for 50 minutes to grab her attention just so I could get refills on water… Not once did she come up to us and ask us if we needed anything, but everyone else got better service. She would disappear into the back for long periods of time when we wanted help. There were at most 12 people in the restaurant. Not busy at all. Just seemed like she didn’t like young people - disappointing.

Worst meal that we've ever received here. Wings were dried out and hard as a rock. Dip for the waffle fries and pretzels looked like a spoiled paste of some sorts. Atleast they didn't change us for the wings after 2 attempts at correcting the wing issues..Hopefully it's just a bad night here because, we usually love coming here
