Dena is a very excellent server. Always smiling and very tentative to her customers. She always asks me how my day is going always smiling. Ask what I would like to drink,coffee, soda etc. Always ask for her as my server.

Hands down the best IHOP in Texas! I can also say that the facilities are the cleanest & the staff are the nicest. Let’s not forget the lady who makes it happen in the GM position. If ur looking for a breakfast spot or even want some sirloin steak tips… IHOP off of Ridge Rd. is where you want to be!

On 9-17-2025, while dining at the Rockwall location, I dropped my case with my iPads The server noticed the case and returned to me. I thank him and went home. Later I discovered that one of the pods was missing. I called the store and Kayla went back to where we were sitting but could not find it. She then made the extra effort and looked in the dust pan and found it there. She really made my day.

UPDATE 11.3.23: I was contacted by corporate and then the Asst GM. Because of my initial review (below this update). Asst GM apologized many times and was going to give me a full refund. Instead, we decided it was fair to try them again. We went today and asked for the Manager on Duty. It turned out to be the GM Nicki (sp?). She read the Asst GM's note and said our meal was on her. She wanted to hear the story of our previous experience. After a nice visit, we ordered our beverages and meal. WOW! What a difference. Service was excellent and fast. Our food was PERFECT in every way. Hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had at an IHOP. I thank the entire staff for turning a bad situation good. It just takes a little communication. Now, I highly recommend this IHOP and will return. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Terrible, terrible service and food!! Only 8 people in the restaurant, including us. Gave our order to the server. Waited 45 minutes. FORTY FIVE MINUTES for our food to come out. AND of the only 3 tables there, we ordered first. The other two were served before us. Not sure how THIS guy has a job. Also, not a manager to be found. On top of all that, they let some recovering methods addict come in and go table to table selling banana bread for some church and home in Far East Texas. What????? There is NOTHING comfortable about trying to eat a meal and have a solicitor cone to your table and hard sell you. You just can't make this stuff up!!!

My daughter ordered Cali roasted turkey melt& a very tasty strawberry lemonade. I ordered the split decision breakfast, food was really good. I would say IHop's coffee is the BEST! I'm picky when it comes to coffee& I don't drink more than 1 cup of coffee& I drank 2, I actually wanted more, lol..LOVE their coffee♡

My wife and I went into this location on Monday morning. We were seated immediately and Tina came over to take our drink order. Tina is an attentive great representative for IHOP. After our drinks arrived, Tina introduced us to her trainee Hailey who also did a great job for us. It is obvious that Tina cares about her customers and keeping this IHOP running smoothly. She has trained Hailey well and it showed in her service to us. The Pumkin Spice pancakes were to die for and Tina even brought extra whipped cream without me asking because she heard me say I was going to use it in place of syrup. You cannot train that kind of customer service. That service comes from someone who genuinely cares about their guest's experience. GREAT JOB Tina and Hailey. We will definitely return to this location.

100% customer service oriented, I placed my order to go at the wrong location, but Nikki was able to help me cancel it and started working immediately on my order. She took one glance over my receipt and matched everything perfectly by memory and relayed it with the kitchen staff and ensured it was all there. Could not be more relieved to not have to wait longer and appreciate the helpfulness she exhibited the order took less than 10 minutes to come out and they even walked it out to my car. I ordered my food at 12:25am, went to the restaurant and it wasn’t ready yet, but I ended up leaving at 1am with my food (I didn’t mind waiting). Given that they were short staffed, they did an amazing job trying to accommodate customers coming in and the ones waiting for their pick up order. Anyways, to the manager who covered for the cook! Praise to you because you definitely served with a great attitude! A well-managed IHOP with good food and friendly staff. Interior is looking dated and worn, that's the only reason I didn't rate it 5-stars. During my last visit I had the Country Omlette and Cupcake Pancakes...both are very good. Can also recommend the Brioche French Toast with Bananas.

A friend and I went to IHOP in Rockwall before going to church. I ordered the breakfast steak tips and eggs, and was very pleasantly surprised. The steak tips were tender and tasty. Our server was attentive and vivacious without being intrusive. The coffee was strong, as I like it, and was supplied when needed. I'm not a pancake person, so I got the fresh fruit instead. The fruit was obviously fresh and not bathed in juice.

Went here for post-prom dinner with friends, service was great and we had a great time. Food wasn't top notch but still tasty enough for midnight dining!

This IHOP has placed plexiglass between each both to increase separation between tables. They have a QR code option for the menu but the cell service at the location is terrible. They should post the IHOP Guest Wifi password next to the QR code. So after attempting to download the menu while I drinks were enroute, we gave up and asked for a menu. They brought us 1 paper copy and gave us 2 minutes to look before coming back. We were in a bit of a hurry so I ordered randomly off the menu. 🙍Its breakfast. Food came quickly and coffee refills offered frequently. We asked for a togo box. I had placed my card on the table waiting on the check. The waitress placed the check next to the card and went to grab the box. Usually a waiter/waitress would take the offered card with them and run the card at the same time. I was expecting a regular box that would have fit half an omelet and the 2 pancakes we had leftover. The waitress brought a clear clamshell box which I'd never seen the like of before. I managed to get everything in it but it would have been helpful if the waitress had noticed how much food we were going to attempt to box and recommend 2 boxes instead. Seating was quick thanks to their redesign, service was fast, and food came out quickly. Overall service was good but not exceptional. I did tip well because service was acceptable and I'm happy for the convenience of eating out when needed.

We went for breakfast, bit busy with pick up orders took a minute to get seated. Our server was great...polite and attentive. Food was IHop food better than Wylie location for sure. Bacon had black stuff from grill so that needed to be cleaned. However the reason for 2 starts was the lack of attention to details when it came to cleaning. You can see dust and crud in the corner on the floors. Women's restroom was not great and in need of a deep deep cleaning. I had to lysol wipe the pee off the seat so my child could use the restroom. They need to take a moment and get it really cleaned overall.

DIRTY place, service was only ok and the food took FOR EVER to come. It was just 2 of us so I don’t understand why it would take them over 40 mins to give us our food (plus the restaurant was almost empty). I ordered Uber eats last night for me and my Daughter and I’ve never seen Food from a restaurant come this poorly packaged. I ordered a 2X times 2X times 2x And my pancakes were nowhere near done. I asked for two sausage links as my side I received bacon and one sausage I asked for scrambled eggs. The portion that was given of the scrambled eggs was as if it was for a dog and not a human being. My food looks like it was just thrown into the packaging and I don’t appreciate it since I paid $45 plus tip I don’t recommend this location at all. We placed our to-go order at around 1030pm for a 1145pm pickup last Saturday (7/8/23 - coming home from a football camp, we had some hungry teenage boys)...I was screwed by this location before - so I decided to give them another shot...arrived promptly at 1145pm, no one greeted me until 1153pm - without saying "hello"...the greeter just yelled, "Its 20min before you can get seated"...I told her I'm just here to-go, she responded - "Its still going to be 20mins!"...So at 1230pm, when I receive my order, its missing items and 2 plates were done completely wrong ($50)...Please note, this was my 1st time trying the app (which works perfectly). When I brought it to their attention...they just gave me 2 pancakes (I was missing more than that)...if you are looking for a late night craving, Go to Waffle House next door...At least they greet customers and get your orders correct in a timely manner!

Madison is the the customer care representative we spoke with at first, she had a bit of an attitude. We still continued with our order. We called back, and spoke with the “manager” Rebecca, that seemed to be reasonable at first l, until we told her about our experience with Madison. We called back to add something, and didn’t feel right about not saying anything about the way we were being rushed, cutoff and spoken to in a short manner. So the “manager” Rebecca was referring her to “Mad.” until we asked for the spelling of who originally took out order. She didn’t know that we were on speakerphone at the time. As you can see the quality of our food that she didn’t take to kind to meet the customers needs. We will be contacting corporate tomorrow. IHOP has never served our crispy bacon, and sausage up under a soggy hash brown. We also recorded them saying “you’re cutting out, several times, and ONLY Rebecca and Madison answering each time. Look at the toast, and you can clearly see the missing pieces, angles. If you’re paying for something, and have worked in the food service field don’t ever think this is ok. I get stressed out working in the same field, and this is what they chose to do. Report them. It’s their JOB to go by the rules. I would never do anything of the sort.

This place had horrible service. We were the only 2 people in the whole restaurant and we couldn't get a decent waitress. The waitress barely even stop at our table when we called her over to ask for something. She walked up and once I started to tell her what we needed she started walking away. Then seemed annoyed when what she brought us wasn't what we asked for.

Felt ignored the entire time and they were not busy for us to have been ignored. I do not recommend the Nashville tenders and waffles. The sauce was awful and I couldn’t get past the first bite and had to pay full price to only eat the waffle. That I had to scrape the disgusting sauce from because they placed the tenders on top of waffle. IHOP was one of our favorite dine in spots but we will not be visiting for a long time!!

If I could have did this without a star I wouldn't have given them one!!! This is one of the worst experience that I have ever had! First off we waited in the foyer without being greeted for about 10 to 15 min. Upon finally being acknowledged, the tension between the staff was ridiculous! Before we were seated the staff was bad mouthing another co-worker, and it didn't stop there. While we were eating a few of the staff was near our table in a disagreement. This is only part of it! The food sucked! I've attached pictures for the viewing! We ordered a breakfast burrito that came out so cold that the cheese didn't even melt! Also we ordered coffee and had to ask for a refill. Our eggs were over cooked and the chicken strips were burned! This isn't so much as a complaint on the waiter because she seemed over worked but so far lately my overall I hop experience have not been a good one no matter which one you go to! We left more food than we ate!

Service at the restaurant in Rockwall by i-30 is non existing actually had waiter walk by me four times before actually asking if I would needing anything after he asked what I was drinking he then went to the restroom before getting my drinks I left after I saw him go into the restroom. If there was any way of giving no stars I would have done that

The food was the worst, the avocado was very bad and black the taste of it was so bad it tasted old and expired! They confused my order and it took more than 40 mins for them to check up on me while needed some condiments and drinks.
