Five stars!! why ? you ask Because it's not everyday a manager opens his doors 30 mins early cause a customer was craving some taco soup. Mr. Michael opened up and took our order himself he wasn't just a pleasant person to speak with he made you feel like you mattered as a coustomer. Felt like some good old fashioned coustomer service I will be back ( I'm a believer).
I ordered the California Club Regular on wheat bread along with blue corn chips and salsa. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Very clean store with a helpful kind staff all around.
Today I had lunch with my daughter at Jason’s Deli in Rockwall. The dining space was very clean. The food was delicious. Maria was very courteous, polite, and helpful. She was attentive and brought us whatever we needed very quickly. She did a fantastic job! We will definitely be back to eat at this location again.
So I was supposed to order my son’s game day meals for his football team last week. I forgot, and waited last minute. I went online and notice today’s game was not available to purchase. I kinda panicked. I called the store directly and spoke with a young lady named Maria. She instructed me that she could in fact add an order to the team order today as a courtesy. I was relieved. Maria was very patient and friendly. She took care of the payment over the phone and ensured that my son would receive the pregame meal today. I want to make sure that I give Ms. Maria so praise today as she saved the day. Little does she knows she saved me time from leaving work to go and get food and to bring it to my son’s school and return to work. I work 35 minutes away from the restaurant too. Thanks a million Maria, I truly appreciate you and your willingness to go over and beyond to help me. Be blessed!
The cashier/server , Ms. Grace , has gone above and beyond with food referral and recommendations with the menu. And this is my 1st time, here. Very memorable and respectful young lady. Thankyou , Jason's deli for hiring such an ace in hole of a great employee. Much love! Jesus Loves you.
First Visit here with my fianceé, and the service was utterly fantastic. The owner/manager did such and awesome job providing such a quality experience. Our food was really great, too. We will definitely be back very soon.
First time ever trying with my fiancé, it was so yummy. I had the tomato basil soup, fiancé had the California club— to die for. The owner/manager has fantastic customer service and great energy! Definitely coming back. I just got my wisdom teeth removed, only can have light soups— the manager filled the To go cup extra. 10/10
We visited on a Friday night for dinner and we’re pretty pleased with this Jason’s location. It was very busy throughout our entire visit, but the staff handled it well and delivered quality service. They seemed a bit short-handed, with the only cashier having to answer phones as well, but still kept things moving smoothly. All in all, a solid experience. Reliable spot for a quick, satisfying meal.
This lunch went very well. I had the deli club after asking the gentlemen at the front if the Amy's Turkey O or Deli club had more meat and he said deli club. It sure did! The sandwich filled me up about halfway to 3/4's in. It comes with chips but you can trade those out for another side. I had a cookie with it. The bread was a good quality wheat that wasn't over toasted so it didn't scrape my mouth. Perfect. Jason's deli is one of the few places I've seen that still has a Salad bar and I noticed loaded baked potatoes as well. Prices are very reasonable. They also offer free frozen custard with cones in the back which I didn't know about. Excellent value for the money, I was pleased. I hadn't been in for 2 years because the Club Royale was a disappointment (small, not enough meat, didn't like the sauce, crumpled croissant), so I was pleasantly surprised this time. They also have a drive thru!
We finally found a salad bar worthy of brand loyalty!! We loved it. Everything was fresh and delicious. Some of the reviews complained about dishes on the tables, and there were dishes on some of the tables. Maybe a little more attention to the dining area, but we were very pleased with our food. We will be regular customers. edit: so good we were back for lunch the next day!!
Pretty good. It is a bit of a long wait for food, the salad bar is freshly stocked often, and I liked the free ice cream. The atmosphere was nice with dim lighting and a bit dirty but nothing too bad. I reccomend the broccoli and cheese soup, it was nice and delicious. Would come again!
The food is good. Every sandwich we've tried has been good. The Rockwall location needs new front end employees. We have yet to encounter a friendly clerk at the register. The older woman that works there is cranky.
First time to eat at Jason's deli in a while. The potato was overcooked or reheated, couldn't tell, and skimpy on the fajita chicken. The tomato basil soup was good and actually hot. The muffaletta tasted good but was overcooked to where the bread tore the roof of my mouth. Or maybe it to had been reheated.
We stopped in for lunch and ordered the Quarter Muffaletta Special w/ Baked Chips and Tomato Basil soup, Nutty Mixed-Up Wrap, Kids Mac & Cheese, and Kids Chicken Alfredo. I've always enjoyed their Muffaletta and it's good here too! They have the salad bar and complimentary ice cream on a cone. Nice and clean place. Friendly staff.
While the food is good (not great, not bad), the online ordering system is not good. When you choose the curbside pickup, somehow the store never receives the notice you’re at the store. I end up having to go inside every time. The ticket stapled to the bag says “Delivery” all over it, but that’s 100% not what I chose. It also has my pickup time and vehicle information. Their app says to click when you’re on the way, and click when you arrive, which I do. If you’re going to pre-order, make sure you just hit the drive through to pickup the order, or you’ll be sitting in your car until you’re 98.
I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed for this being my first time here. No greeting at all when I walked in or for the people who walked in shortly after. I feel like that should be standard at every service establishment. Then, another lady walked up as I just put the menu down to order at the register and the cashier called her in front of me and took her order instead. I ordered a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup. $7 for soup that was short on chicken, small in portion size and not hot when I received it. It was warm, just not warm enough. You're better off buying a can of Progresso for $3. I should have tried a bowl or something else.
I used to love this location. Now lately, when I come by in the evenings, not only are they typically out of things, but the staff is always rude. Standoffish with an attitude, as if you're bothering them by being there. Foods always good though.
Ok, y’all won’t like this review. Most of what I’m about to say has nothing to do with the staff. They were friendly and polite. This is about the experience, the food, and the value, and honestly, it was bad enough that we will never go back. The local high school had a fundraising night where proceeds from sales between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM at Jason’s Deli went to the campaign. Great idea, and we wanted to support it. We’ve never eaten at Jason’s Deli before, and after this, we won’t again. Let’s start with the app. We were given a promo code to use during ordering, so I installed the app and added three sandwiches, three sides, and a kid’s baked potato to the cart. The promo code didn’t give a discount. Fine, but maybe it should have because the total was over $70 for just sandwiches and sides. That’s outrageous. We were okay with it because it was for the school, but that price alone makes it an easy decision never to order here again. Then came the payment nightmare. I tried Google Pay—didn’t work. It kept saying “invalid card details”… for Google Pay! Then I tried adding my credit card directly. Entered everything correctly, hit pay—nothing happened. I cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, tried again. Same result. You literally cannot pay through the app. That’s unacceptable in 2025. So we drove to the store and ordered manually. I explained to the cashier what happened, showed her the app, and she was polite and helpful. After waiting about 20 minutes, the manager came over asking if we had duplicate orders. I explained again that we tried online, couldn’t pay, and reordered in person. She apologized and processed refunds for the failed app orders. At least the staff handled that well. Now the food. One sandwich was salmon & when we got home, it was half a sandwich, not a full one. The salmon was bland and forgettable. Another sandwich was way too salty. The third was just okay. For $70, this was a huge letdown. Combine that with the broken app and the hassle, and it’s an easy decision...we will never dine here again. Takeout sandwiches aren’t usually our thing, and this experience sealed it. We’ll recommend the school pick a different restaurant next year. The staff is not the problem. They were great! The problem is the recipes, the quality, and the value. For what you pay, you should get better food and a functional app. Jason’s Deli failed on both. I know there are people out there that like Jason's deli. We are just not in that camp. To the franchise owner, you should be proud of your staff. They are the reason this location is surviving the way that it is. They care about what they're doing & customer service goes a long way. Jason's deli corporate is not helping you out at all.
I have dined at this Jason's many times over the past few years, but much more frequently in the past 6 months since we moved to the area. The food is always excellent and the majority of staff are cordial and helpful. However, I've had the misfortune recently to have one specific employee "Debbie" take my order. She is abrupt and quick to rudely correct a customer if they accidentally order incorrectly ,( example today: I ordered half a turkey wrap and a side that I incorrectly referred to as
This food tasted like microwaved frozen food. Not good at all. It was served to us lukewarm or cold. This has happened twice. So disappointed because the other locations at least serve hot food for the price. If you like lukewarm food and not having a place to sit because the tables are still covered with trash after others left, this is your place. I won’t be back again.
I felt racial discrimination by Debbie. I came in to eat with my family. I usually don’t eat here so I was looking at the menu. I felt Debbie staring at me hard and trying to rush me. It’s like her whole mood changed when we walked in. I will not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!! Bye
I usually enjoy Jason’s Deli, but my recent visit to the Rockwall location was very disappointing. When my food arrived, I found a long hair in it. The young lady who brought my meal did not have her hair tied back, which was very unsanitary. I let the staff know, and they did remake my order, but at that point I didn’t feel comfortable eating anymore. Cleanliness and food safety are very important, and unfortunately this experience left me questioning both.
